The sky is low, the clouds are mean,
The sky is low, the clouds are mean,
A travelling flake of snow
Across a barn or through a rut
Debates if it will go.
A narrow wind complains all day
How some one treated him;
Nature, like us, is sometimes caught
Without her diadem.

Girl From The North Country
(bob dylan)
If youre travelling in the north country fair
Where the wind sweeps heavy on the border line
Remember me to the one who lives there
She once was a true love of mine
If youre travelling in the snow-flake storm
Where the rivers freeze and the summer ends
See for me that shes wearing a cloak that is warm
To keep her from the howlin wind
See for me if her hair is hanging low
If it curls and it tumbles all the way to her breast
See for me if her hair is hanging low
cos thats the way that I remember her best
Im wondering if she remembers me at all
The many times Ive often strayed
In the stillness of my night
And in the darkness of my day
So if youre travelling in the north country fair
Where the wind sweeps heavy on the border line
Remember me to the one who lives there
For she once was a true love of mine

Winter is Just A Snowflake
melting snow
flake disappear
a long time before
it touch
Mother Earth-
touching only
another snow
flake communicate
a sense of beauty
so beautiful
their silence
is the snow-

Cold Silence
The silence of the night
is the winters delight
snow that muffles the sounds
are billions of snow flakes
compacting down.
See that snow flake coming down
I will catch it on my tongue
and it will dissapear, melting
and it will be done.
The beauty of a single snow flake
as you can see, under a microscope
is unique as you'll agree
Not two are alike nope there will never be
another as unique like, you or me.

Snow
Down out of heaven,
Frost-kissed
And wind driven,
Flake upon flake,
Over forest and lake,
Cometh the snow.
Folding the forest,
Folding the farms,
In a mantle of white;
And the river’s great arms,
Kissed by the chill night
From clamor to rest,
Lie all white and shrouded
Upon the world’s breast.
Falling so slowly
Down from above,
So white, hushed, and holy,
Folding the city
Like the great pity
Of God in His love; 20
Sent down out of heaven
On its sorrow and crime,
Blotting them, folding them
Under its rime.
Fluttering, rustling,
Soft as a breath,
The whisper of leaves,
The low pinions of death,
Or the voice of the dawning,
When day has its birth,
Is the music of silence
It makes to the earth.
Thus down out of heaven,
Frost-kissed
And wind driven,
Flake upon flake,
Over forest and lake,
Cometh the snow.

My Snowfall
My eyes behold its beauty
As my hand
Reaches out for its touch,
While my face
Feels that certain tingle
That makes me love
Snow so much!
My heart embraces its coming
The way a child frolics
In the fallen snow! My beautiful snowfall
Brings joy to my spirit
And sunshine to my day.
It doesn't matter
Whether it be a blizzard
Or a dusting of flakes,
Snow falling from the sky
To me looks the same
Any old way!
Snow, my ever lovely snowfall! Be it Valentine's Day,
President's Day,
And yes,
Be it Groundhog Day!
Let it snow
I walk in it,
As well as sing in it!
I play in the snow
And build my favorite snowman,
Then chase
Each falling flake
As fast as I can! Each breath of air
Feels crystal clear
Making Winter so very dear!
Each descending flake
Falls as if it were
A blessing from the angels,
Appreciating this gift
Of nature from God,
More than any other
Man created pleasure! Let it snow
As well as
Let the winds blow!
I wait for the snow every year,
And can't stop smiling
When it finally appears!
Snowfall, my snowfall!

The Warmth of Snow
A snow flake is so complex, yet soft enough to enhance romance.
No flake is like another, neither is a friend or a lover.
The gentle falling of snow makes me think of home,
where I find warmth and cheer, and happiness flow.
A warm heart and cold toes, come next to me, and snuggle close.
I love you now and forever more, as we wait for more snow flakes to fall.

What Is A Barn?
A barn is many things-
A barn is a fun place
To run, romp, and play.
It is also a place of refuge,
On hot or stormy days.
A barn is a storage place
For all your tools, grain, and hay.
It is also a place to unwind,
When you have had a tough day.
A barn becomes God's sanctuary,
When you begin to pray
It is also a place of work,
When work is needing done.
A barn is a place
Where freindships can be made
It is also a place
Where new life is born.
A barn is a place
To try with all your might
And finally when its doors are closed,
'Tis safety from the night.
A barn is a place for horses,
And it is a place for cows
A barn is also a hayloft,
Full of little meows
A barn is the Inn
Where our Savior was born
God, our Savior,
Christ, our Lord.
A barn is a work place,
A barn is a play place
A barn is a great place
A barn is a training ring...
A barn is..
Well, when it comes right
Down to it,
A barn is everything!

To Cambridge
and beside me
and travelling
Studying notes
Grasping the fact
The fraught features
Looks again reads
and so beyond
and travelling
After hedges
The so blue sky
Lets planes and clouds
Each one some space
and so onward
and travelling

Why should we do to not be caught by wind?
Why should we do to not be caught by wind?
Run!
Running and keep moving so the wind can’t touch you
Why should we do to not be caught by wind?
Hide!
Hiding in the deep hole untouchable by swirling wind
Why should we do to not be caught by wind?
Fill!
Filling and covering your body so the wind can’t blow you
Why should we do to not be caught by wind?
Face!
Facing with all courage till the wind weakly disappear

I Made No Sound
deep in the thoughts I thought
I should be travelling
I should be travelling
travelling for long
but I made no sound
deep in my heart I knew
I should be travelling
I should be travelling
travelling far
but I made no sound
deep in the feet each move there moved
I should be travelling
I should be travelling
travelling forever
but I made no sound

Ice Latices
Clouds beg admiration.
Ice crystals form a latices
Of dendritic growth.
Broken by their movement
The impossiblity of
Identical snow flake
Falling to water my tongue.

Song Of The Evergreens
Listen to the briskly whistling winter evergreen
Whispering through the frozen morning light
And tell me whats to come
Saying my time is near
Never fear
I close each year
Im winter
Reminding me to trade my t-shirts for my woven wools
Trade my sandals for my skis
Whispered warnings in the wind
Saying soon come the dancing snowflakes
Theyre kissing every tree
Theyre kissing you and me
Please hurry
Falling
Dazzling dancing diamonds from the sky
Prisms
Rainbow sparkled flurries in our eyes
Whipping across the frozen crystal meadow
Pond of ice
Race the snow
Well build a warming fire there
And cuddle close and wine and dine
The setting sun
The morning light will find us high
Shooting down the glistening mountain side
Screaming through the whispering pines
The freedom of each day
Will cleanse our minds
I can hardly wait for winter
I can hardly wait for the snow
I can hardly hardly wait for winter
I can hardly wait for the snow
Snow snow snow snow snow snow snow snow
Snow snow snow snow snow snow snow snow
Snow snow snow snow snow snow snow snow
Snow snow snow snow snow snow snow snow

When Winter Comes
The leaves have finished their journey
The trees are naked now
As the first flake falls it flickers and sparkles
The clouds build piles of snow on the ground
Children jump up and down excitedly waiting to be freed
Dead frozen grass underneath the piles of snow waiting patiently for spring
Snowmen, snow angels were left alone to vanish with the winds and foot steps
Snowball fights had forced everyone to hide
When winter comes i want to stay under my blanket all day long

A Fragment-2
Wrapped in settling snow from the warm pink
Flakes upon flakes upon patterns and soft geometry
My dad pulls me and sled snow silent
Him the single shape through flake and flake
On getting in home the breath is extinguished
Warmth of different vapours the seer of hot aches
The weight of wet clothes but a discomfort
Sitting and steaming hands in the fire glow
Stars through my window danced upon by rime
Somewhere the full moon shine eases the dark
Covered I lay furtive with an unknown fear
The cold of the space whispered to this hero
The last few nights when through another window
An autumn wind turns midnight into a sanctuary
This turning season places a summons upon chemistry
And accompany its solo even with my ageing

Farm
Cold windy, snow day on the farm. The black weather vane, spun like a merry go round on the main red barn roof, where the livestock was housed. A family of white winged doves roosted under the white pine over hang of the hay barn.A large equipment building with a slopped roof to store tractors blades, harrows, hole diggers, mowers and tillers during harsh weather.windbreakers, Giant cypress trees snow covered, upright white friars, three rows deep, who never need to sleep. standing guard against mother nature's fury.

Lady Winter
Lady winter
finally
caught up
with me
She has laid down
a blanket
of her
white tears
masking the world
in her
chillingly
cold beauty
Snow faeries laugh
and dance
on the drifts
at us
and how we call winter
beautiful
This is
Lady winter's
way
of remembering
a love
lost
forgotten
abandoned
Each snow flake is
one more tear
that she
sheds
in her
yearly moments of
weakness

The Barn and the Down
t stood in the sunset sky
Like the straight-backed down,
Many a time - the barn
At the edge of town,
So huge and dark that it seemed
It was the hill
Till the gable's precipice proved
It impossible.
Then the great down in the west
Grew into sight,
A barn stored full to the ridge
With black of night;
And the barn fell to a barn
Or even less
Before critical eyes and its own
Late mightiness.
But far down and near barn and I
Since then have smiled,
Having seen my new cautiousness
By itself beguiled
To disdain what seemed the barn
Till a few steps changed
It past all doubt to the down;
So the barn was avenged.

Travelling Man
The lights of the motel shine on to me
This is the land of the brave, sad and the lonely
The last rides
Coming to me I can feel it
A new life
Screaming out and I cant miss it
Travelling man
Travelling man
You get away if you can
My bodys shaking, my bodys tired
Hookers to the left of me, killers on the inside
The last train
Left this station long ago
The headlights
Shine like diamonds in the snow
Like a travelling man
Im a travelling man
Run away if you can
Cruel world keeps turning Im dead on my feet
From the blue icy mountains to white city heat
Factory fire burns like a phoenix tonight
Spread your wings come on darling
And your eyes
Search for me but I cant see them
And your sweet mouth
It speaks to me but I cant hear it
And your - your sweet smile
Two thousand miles for your warm kisses
And your sweet child
I got one last chance and I cant miss it
No no no no
Travelling man
Like a travelling man
Well Im a travelling man
