I don't think there is anything wrong with white space. I don't think it's a problem to have a blank wall.

A White, Blank Wall

I don’t talk
I sit and stare
At a blank wall
A blank, white wall
Like some things, a waste of space
In need of improvement
If walls could talk
Share smiles and happiness
Tears and pain
Laughter and sorrow
Some people would say
“This wall needs color, change”
What’s wrong with it?
There’s no need for change
All it is
Is a blank, white wall
Wanting to scream out, to cry
Wanting to stay, to live
Desperate to live
Needing to live
Not improve of change
It’s just a blank, white wall

There Is Nothing To Write

WELL, FACE THE BLANK WALL
STARE TO THIS BLANK WALL
THERE IS NOTHING TO THIS BLANK WALL
IT IS BLANK
IT IS EMPTY
IT IS A HINDRANCE TO WHAT I WANT TO SEE
IT IS AN OBSTRUCTION
TO WHAT I WANT TO BECOME
THIS WALL
THIS WALL IS MY JAIL
MY PRISON
MY BLINDNESS
THIS WALL MUST BE TORN
THIS WALL MUST BE BOMBED
THIS BLOCK
THIS WEARINESS OF THE HEART
THIS TIREDNESS OF THE SOUL
THIS MALADY OF BEING NOTHING
THIS HAVING NOTHING AT ALL
THERE IS NOTHING TO WRITE
THERE IS NOTHING
THERE IS

now i will write about something
from above

The Blank Wall Waits For You...you Must Decide What To Do With It...

from time to time you face a
blank wall and you are confronted what to do with it
carrying with you
the past walls which had become too dirty
to read and you have dreams
about a wall of art
and you have thought carefully what to put on this blank wall

it must be something beautiful
and dignified and
worthy of an honor
it must not contain the regret of
what is wasted
and abused
about what is neglected
and disturbing

and this is the problem now
note it well

you doubt if this time you will write something on it
or not at all

because you want to be safe
and clean and
restrained.

Blank Walls

it is time to have blank walls
something to start with
where you are more careful with
what to write and
what to draw

you think twice, thrice
before you start your scribbles for
you once drew a cat
and it didn't work well with the dog
which she drew first

you should have talked to her
so everything that you plan
to put on this blank wall
might as well have harmony

& peace & beauty, like the way
she painted her own blank space
with all black colors, and she gave you
an impression of the darkest night

you tried to put some stars and
a full moon to brighten the darkness
of her thoughts, and perspectives

she did not like it
she was in deep mourning, she was very sad
depressed with what happened
when she was a young girl in their house

she set aside the stars and she told you she hated the moon
and you kept your silence and opted to put there the whispers of
wind and the hush of the sea

again she did not like it
the wind made her vomit and the sea made her very sick till

you finally gave up
with the way the blank wall had been painted
and the manner by which she wanted to take it all to herself
you know what was really proper

you said there is still a blue boat on the blank wall
and it is leaving soon finding a new world..... now sailing on

Blank

Blank pages, blank lines
Blank heart, blank mind
Blank feeling, blank soul
Blank high, blank low.

I dont know why
You just cant see
That all you've ever known
Is the blank side of me.

So what are you doing with your life now?

She says

She stares blankly on the wall
She is busy
Counting the lamp posts on the streets
She is so busy
She thinks God is preparing something
Grand for her and she is so busy
Too preparing something for God
Who prepares for her.

I am amazed
I ask her

“So, did you stare long enough on that blank wall
Was it really blank? Did you really stare?
What made the wall so blank? Is the stare really
Worth making on a blank wall?
And how many lamp posts have you counted?
Is the street filled with lamp posts?
How is God? When will the preparation last?
How are you doing with God? Is God busy too? ”

She is a little bit understanding to my way of thinking.

“There you are making a poem again. You have never changed.”

She said.

White Space

I was dreaming of a white space
Had interposed itself between us two-

A blank wall; neither dark nor light
No recrimination there but silence
The silence that falls only at night.

Silence gone to snowy hazards
Like the shadows made from deeper blue-

And invisible but slippery edges,
As blindly groping in the darkness
To reach the haven- but you're not there yet.

Though I would wall myself with silence
And spend my life as one, not two-

Before I'd hurt another being,
Sometimes intentions brick the dam up
Before the devastation's seen.

Problems

Too many problems, oh why am I here?
I need to be me, cause youre all to clear
And I can see theres something wrong with you
Oh, what do you expect me to do?
At least I gotta know what I wanna be
Dont come to me if you need pity
Are you lonely, you got no-one
You got your body in suspension
Thats a problem, problem, problem
The problem is you
Eat your heart out on a plastic tray
You dont do what you want and you fade away
You work for me, youre working nine-to-five
Its too much fun of being alive
Im using my feet for my human machine
You work for me, living for the screen
Are you lonely, all needs catered
You got your brains dehydrated
Problem, problem, problem, the problem is you
Oh what what you gonna do, problem, problem
Problem, problem, problem, the problem is you
Well, what you gonna do with your problem
The problem is you, problem
I aint death trip, but I aint automatic
You work for me, just stay ecstatic
Dont you give me any orders
To people like me, there is no order
Bet you thought you had it all worked out
Bet you thought you knew what I was about
Bet you thought youd solved all your problems
But you are the problem
Problem, problem, problem, the problem is you
Oh, what you gonna do with your problem?
Ill leave it up to you, oh problem
The problem is you, you got a problem
Oh what you gonna do?
They know a doctor, gonna take you away
Thay take you away and they throw away the key
They dont want you and they dont want me
You got a problem the problem is you
Problem, well, what you gonna do?
Problem, have you got a problem?
Problem, well you got a problem
Problem (x17)

Shot Shot

Well, hey, how's tricks man?
Think I've seen you before
Blank blank to that
You looked a lot older
You been working out
What's wrong with that?
Well he came back and he
Came a-marching in
Shot shot to that
You found a good reason
Well, do it for the money
What's wrong with that?
Control your bad side
Into battle we go down
Hold the line
You'll survive
Dead wrong
So please stop talking and
Start puckering up
My ears are blank
It's a special occasion
So do it for the money
Can't go wrong with that
Explode or capsize
But find my going
If you're down
Toe the line
You'll survive
Dead wrong

Today's Blank Wall

just this day
i face a blank wall

it is enticing
its white hand is signaling me to write my thoughts on it

it is empty and wants to be full
just like myself perhaps who knows

i will disappoint it in the same manner that you have
disappointed me

i will not go near it
i will not say a word

i will not write anything
but i will tell it

'you are beautiful'

untouched, unwritten
pure, blank, mute....

Vow 2 (Right Words)

I've always been able to
now I don't even know what to do
it's never been a problem before
I've always been able to write about it
talk about it, now that it hit me
I'm somewhat speechless
I put pad to pen, nothing
an empty space on a white page
shouldn't this just write itself?
not a word or a single letter
I know it hit me, I feel it
it hurts yet I like it,
I smile at the sight of it
I've spent days and still on a blank page
it's stupid to say, but I give up
a pen is in rage to silence
to express this, these feelings
no words could describe
nor will I try
the only thing I can say for certain
that it is real, I Love you
this I vow.

Where's My Inspiration?

I can not think.
My mind is at a gridlock.
Where’s my inspiration?

Boredom is highly overwhelming,
But then I think,
“A poem about boredom! ”
Stupid, huh?
But still,
I-can-not- think.
Where’s my inspiration?

I lie on my bed,
Mind empty.
I stare at the ceiling,
At the blank white wall.
Then I stare at my paper,
A blank white canvas.
But then I look closer
It isn’t blank.
It’s filled with lines,
And not just any lines,
BLUE lines.
They aren’t even solid either.
With closer inspection,
They are dotted.
Some even have breaks in them.

Well,
Look at that.
I’ve found my inspiration.
“What is it? ” You may think.
To tell the truth it’s nothing special.
My inspiration came from everywhere around me.
My closed mind soon opened up and spoke to my hand.
It’s funny how the mind works,
Don’t you agree?

And the Child Draws a World

the teacher asks the child to draw
The world
& the universe

And the child with his Mongol pencil
put a dot
for a start on his clean white bondpaper

(& as his fingers are clumsy
His hands still shaky)

he makes a stretch of a crooked
line

Stretching
& occupying almost all the space of the paper
To make a
Crooked circle

His world

And for his universe
He draws five little stars
crude
A crescent moon A comet moving In a blank space

A space rocket
Is drawn
On the top page in propulsion

A crooked circle The lines hardly meet At a common point
For a world

A little blank space For the universe

And where is God there?
The teacher asks him

You gave no instruction, sir. The child answered.

But He is there, the Child thinks.

Blank

I wish I was blank
I wish I was blank
I wish I could thank
I wish I was blank

I'd write a letter to you
And there'd be nothing to it
I wouldn't hem and haw
On just how to start it

I wish I was blank
I wish I was blank
I wish I could thank
I wish I was blank

I wish I'd stand up straight
I wish I'd said things different
I wish I'd said nothing
Things would be so perfect
I wish myself to keep
I pray my soul to sleep
I wish myself away
I wish I was blank

The unwritten is also there

a blank paper
limitless as space
to fill the knowledge
here and beyond
and words of God
here, the learned plot
the stars, moon and universe
day and night

to the untutored
the blank paper might
as well be carrying space
limitless, enthralling
yet not fathomable
reachable

the blank page
catches the
essence of the mind
the written is there
the unwritten also there
if you could read
between the lines
if you could sense
the universal mind
the waves at sea
afford only a little view
of the power of the wind

Blank pages
Blank books
Lie with only drowning white
No pretty messages in the sand
No clocks to turn a hand

Looking into an empty void
Like staring at purgatory
Words with no meaning making up a story

Blank pages
Blank books
Stay staring at the celing

Empty without effort

Nothing without words

White Blank Paper

On a white blank paper
I'm writing the chronicle of a tormented soul
Reality and dream are two different things
Can't achieve the same goal

On a white blank paper
I'm putting the pieces of my broken heart
Vanquished & overpowered by the joy of sorrow
Relinquish to the power of thought of a new start

This white blank paper
Witnessing the commotion of another love story
Love brings tears love creates pain
But only painful love gets the imperial glory

Death With Dignity Now Oct 1st 2012

The big problem that humans have, is our approaching death,
And the appointed High Court wont allow DWD just yet,
We are stuck with the problem of how to bring about change,
Our politicians are too busy to stop what they are doing and arrange.

There is dignity in dying if it is properly planned,
But DWD is prohibited as the High Court has banned,
And our big problem is that we are all going to die,
And there is nothing we can do about it and I don't know why.

If the Americans can have DWD in some states,
Could we have it by province or is that too much to debate?
After all, we have abortions everywhere, wall to wall,
Therefore DWD should not be illegal - not at all.

We Dont Have Problem

We dont have problem
If we let each other be
If both of us can understand
What is good for you, may not be for me
If we give each other lots of space
If I tiptoe by your door
Then we dont have a problem anymore
We dont have problem, any fool can see
I could never be like you
Why should you wanna be like me
Whats so hip in doing what the leader always says
When we dont have a problem, anyway
If you make trouble
It will get you in the end
Why trade pain with somebody when
We dont have a problem
Whats so hip in doing what the leader always says
When we dont have a problem, anyway

Tabula Rasa

this is a blank wall
or as you wish it, this could be a blank page,
or you may consider this
a blank mind of a child and
you will be teaching him
some things for the first time,
go, scroll, and find something,

do you remember now, why the child is still in pain?
why the walls are stronger? why the blank page still have stains
of blood in there?
some sad memories that refuse to leave?

don't lose hope, there are still more blank spaces of the mind
imagine it to be some kind of a sky
now, put the stars and the moon, and try wishing

someth ing nice and beautiful
like a boat filled with flowers and some light and then silently it sails
on a very peaceful sea like a fine silky cloth covering the dining table
to the place that you always dream to live

forever.
