An Exception
In all romances, old and new,
And in all lover's rhymes
I find one rule that has held true
Since prehistoric times.
The lover must, if he indeed
Be hit by Cupid's dart,
Grow pale, sigh much, neglect his food,
And wholly lose his heart.
Now fain would I abide this rule
But I, forsooth, grow red
And hot, and stammer like a fool,
And only lose my head.

It's The Lover
(rich donahue/patrick dollaghan)
He broke your heart and said goodbye
After promising forever
You wonder why you even tried
He was such a good pretender
The love you gave was all in vain
And nothing anyone can say
Could ever make you love that way again
It's the lover not the love
Who broke your heart last night
It's the lover not the dream
That didn't work out right
If you listen to your heart
You'll know it's true
It's the lover not the love
Who deserted you
Don't stop reachin' for the stars
Let tomorrow live inside you
And just remember who you are
Keep the faith and love will find you
A heart in love can lose it's true
Don't give up in time to find
The one who's right will come to you
It's the lover not the love
Who broke your heart last night
It's the lover not the dream
That didn't work out right
If you listen to your heart
You'll know it's true
It's the lover not the love
Who deserted you
It does no good to second guess
Whether love is wrong or right
If it was really meant to be
He'd be with you tonight
It's the lover not the love
Who broke your heart last night
It's the lover not the dream
That didn't turn out right
If you listen to your heart
You'll know it's true
It's the lover not the love
Who deserted you

Lover Lover Lover
I asked my father,
I said, father change my name.
The one Im using now its covered up
With fear and filth and cowardice and shame.
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
He said, I locked you in this body,
I meant it as a kind of trial.
You can use it for a weapon,
Or to make some woman smile.
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
Then let me start again, I cried,
Please let me start again,
I want a face thats fair this time,
I want a spirit that is calm.
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
I never never turned aside, he said,
I never walked away.
It was you who built the temple,
It was you who covered up my face.
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
And may the spirit of this song,
May it rise up pure and free.
May it be a shield for you,
A shield against the enemy.
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me,
Yes and lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover, lover come back to me.

... Said Sadly
JI=James Iha, NG=Nina Gordon (of Veruca Salt), J+N=both)
JI: You should know that I love you
We should love like lovers do
And I can't help but fall for you
Ah honey I'm just a fool
Now you know
NG: Darling, I'll never be true
You see, for so long I was blue
JI: (I'm not the only one)
NG: And if I hurt, then you will, too
Ah honey I always lose
Now you know
J+N: Lover, when will you?
JI: I'm so afraid that no one cares
J+N: Lover, can't find you
JI: I swear to God don't leave me here
J+N: Now you know
J+N: Oh, you know that it can't be
But no one else here really means
JI: (Anything to me)
J+N: If you hurt inside
If you confide in me again
NG: Since you ran away
JI: Hold me now, tell me how
Love is ours
J+N: Lover, when will you?
I'm so afraid that noone cares
Lover, can't find you
And no one knows what brings us here
Lover
JI: Hold me now
NG: Hold me now
JI: Tell me how
J+N: Love is ours

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXXV: Rules part 2
What’s the rule, when money could buy
What’s the rule, when power is absolute
What’s the rule, when feeling involved
What’s the rule, when pride is important
What’s the rule, when look affects
What’s the rule, when victory is a must
What’s the rule, when worlds are vain
What’s the rule, people don’t change
What’s the rule, when good is not always right
What’s the rule, freedom is misunderstood
What’s the rule, anger conquers
What’s the rule, past neglected
What’s the rule, crime that committed

Born To Rule
Lay down your arms this night
Surrender to the power
Embracing your metal heart
On your final walk through the snow
A hammer made of steel
From the river of blood
With magic, forged in flames
Delusions, a curse of the damned
What do you see?
Imaginary visions or reality
When you're free
Then you'll see that you are bound to rule
Rule - Born - Rule
We were Born to Rule
Rule - Born - Rule
We were Born to Rule
Born to Rule - Born to Rule
We're Born to Rule forever more
Born to Rule - Born to Rule
We're Born to Rule forever
The revolution forced us all to heed the final call
And if tomorrow never comes
Then we will strike the hammer down
Rule - Born - Rule
We were Born to Rule
Rule - Born - Rule
We were Born to Rule
Born to Rule - Born to Rule
We're Born to Rule forever more
Born to Rule - Born to Rule
We're Born to Rule forever
Forever, forever Rule!

Love Is The Rage
Woman, if I were a woman I would be man enough to keep you warm
And, boy, if I were a man I would be strong enough to hold you tight
And when I cry, and I'm in the mood I will try to keep from loving you
Love is divine
Love is the rage
Leave me alone
Lovely day
Love is bizarre
Lover be mine
Don't wanna lose ya
Don't wanna lose ya
Love is divine
Love is the rage
Melancholy
Don't wanna go
Lovely time
Lover be mine
Don't wanna lose ya
Lover, if you were my lover would you be kind enough to take no other
Boy, if I were a man, would I be strong enough to practice what I preach?
When your out of reach, I would sigh, and stomp, and prove my speech
Love is divine
Love is the rage
Leave me alone
Lovely day
Love is bizarre
Lover be mine
Don't wanna lose ya
Don't wanna lose ya
Love is divine
Love is the rage
Melancholy
Don't wanna go
Lovely time
Lover be mine
Don't wanna lose ya

No fast friend
I lose ones who I frequent.
I lose ones when out of touch.
I lose ones who grow higher.
I lose ones when I grow higher.
I lose ones when they or I move out.
No one is close to me for ever.

Slowly restart
Distance certainly makes the heart grow fonder
But our together times confirmed our devotion
And the distance times made you ponder
Left you with heartfelt confusion.
No matter how little or how long
Your time to grow and discover
You know when you belong
You know you’ve found your true lover
Its when together you feel a connection
Its when together you feel first loved
Its when together there is equal passion
Its when together no feelings are gloved
It’s when together words fail me
Its when together I feel a pulse
Its when together I see
And nothing is false
Sometimes there’s reluctance
Unbelieving that to someone else
You have importance
Until its staring you right in the face
But you can’t see it
Only when you’re in another place
Things start to fit
How can we be scared of something we’ve always wanted?
Why do we say I don’t want to lose you?
When it feels like we bonded
Because,
When we were together we wanted a ‘forever’
When we were apart we were too scared to start
As I pick up my heavy heart
And I no longer pursue you
I slowly restart
And I hope you will too

Jelena
Of the imaginations of one's journey on earth,
And the values of the timeless treasures of life;
Jelena, the pure gold of Ophir is about to dawn on you.
Marriage is all that it takes for two to be united,
And love is the main key towards it;
But today is the muse of your love to your lover.
The bed of roses is at your doorsteps and,
With the delight of your hearts to unite as one;
Like yesterday's stories goneby.
Of the quality of the rule of a marriage,
Of the quality of the rule of one's life;
Of the quality of the rule of love,
Of the quality of the rule of a romance;
With the expectations to hold on so high when,
True love comes down on you.
Today is the muse of your love to your lover,
And true love is all that it takes for a marriage;
But to your friends and relatives in time like this,
The hopes and dreams ahead of you matters a lot.
To a special person in time like this,
With the blues of your life to share with your lover;
Like timeless treasures of life with an unexpected package.
The rule of marriage is what unites you two,
Like a colourful occasion with a keen curiosity;
But the treasures of life is full of memories to share with your love one.
Of the past events to the present of things around you,
For you two are now one body;
So try to enoy the latest endorsements which are now around you.
To all that muses and to your lover,
With the marriage bells of love to share;
Jelena, just be yourself to your new life in the name of marriage.

Cascades: Im Not Your Lover
You know Im not
Your lover now
It might as well be said
And then you say
Youre leaving
Or maybe Im just
Hanging on a thread
When I gave you everything
It didnt seem that much
You gave me your opinion
With the usual
Heavy handed touch
What can I do
About the rain that falls on you
Im not your lover now
Im not your lover now
What can I do
About the rain that falls on you
Im not your lover now
Im not your lover now
My head is spinning endlessly
My sense wont react
Then Im falling through a black hole
Part of me is never coming back
How you can lose a thing
You never really had
And you always hurt the one you love
And you just love to hurt me bad
What can I do
About the rain that falls on you
Im not your lover now
Im not your lover now
What can I do
About the sky that falls on you
Im not your lover
You really must be going now
By god, is that the time?
Let me put you out
Of my misery
They call it being cruel
To be kind
I only insult my friends
My friend
The rest can go to hell
You can read it
Anyway you want
Oh well, youre not so bad yourself
What can I do
About the rain that falls on you
Im not your lover now
Im not your lover now

Fool
(words & music: per gessle)
Published by hiphappy
I was alone
I told my mouth to shot up cos I was talking to myself
Like I always do when Im stuck
Well, I was crying
You could be crying too
I was screaming throungh the windown, I keep missing you
And the tears came down from the sky
And the rain feel hard on my eyes
Now you know what I look like, Im feeling like a fool
I lose on my own, Im going back to school
And I will pray, hallelujah, youll be breaking every rule
And come back to stay, Im feeling like a fool
I really tried so hard to design my life
Theres a big black void in head like its been cut by a knife
Every time your name comes around this stupidity follows me down
Now you know what I look like, Im feeling like a fool
I thought I could swim Im drowning in the pool
And I will pray, hallelujah, youll be breaking every rule
And consider to stay, Im feeling like a fool
Please, come back to stay, Im feeling like a fool
Im feeling like a fool in my heart
Im feeling like a fool

Surfers Rule
Its a genuine fact that the surfers rule
Its plastered on the walls all around the school now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Becoming just as common as a golden rule now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Take it or leave it but you better believe it
Surfers rule
They burnt it in the grass on the football field now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Just try to make them cool it and theyll never yield now
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
Take what youve heard now and go pass the word now
Surfers rule
Its a genuine fact that the surfers rule
A woody full of surfers pullin long side a wagon
(surfers rule, surfers rule)
The hodaddies sittin while the surfers are draggin
The surfers are winnin and they say as theyre grinnin
Surfers rule
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule
(four seasons you better believe it)
Surfers rule

Dont Let Me Lose This Dream
(aretha franklin / ted white)
If I lose this dream
I dont know what Im gonna do
If I lose this dream
Im dreaming about for me and you
If it goes away
I might as well hang it up
cause I dont know
If I have the heart or mind
To make it true
Or help it grow
And I only know, I only know, I only know
If I lose this dream
Its goodbye love and happiness, yes
Youre the one I need
I dont want a love
Thats second best
Thereve been all of my life
I wanted to do
That made me blue
Help me hold onto this dream
For sometimes dreams often come true
And they all come true, they all come true
For me and you
Wait a minute baby
Dont let me lose this dream
Baby, baby hold on
Dont let me lose my dream, no
Baby, baby be strong
You say that a-you believe that what I say is true
And that Im the one and only girl for you
Just tell me
That no matter what the people say
Youre in my corner all the way
And I wont lose this dream
Baby, baby hold on
Dont let me lose my dream, no
Baby, baby be strong
Dont let me lose this dream
Baby, baby hold on
Dont let me lose, lose my dream
Baby, baby hold on
Dont let me, ooh baby

An Earnest Prayer to God
God, rule my tongue, my works, my thought;
God, rule my mind, body, and heart;
God, rule all gifts from You I got;
God, rule my will, forget-me-not.
God, rule all things, my every part;
God, rule my actions from the start;
God, rule my soul, guide it with art;
God, rule my life till I depart!

Why (Are We Still Friends)
We do almost everything that lovers do,
and that's why it's hard just to be friends with you.
Everytime your heart is broken by the fool,
I want you to know that it hurts me too.
It's hard to wipe your tears away.
I know and that you should be with me.
Now tell me why..
Chorus:
Why, why are we still friends,
when everything says we should be more than we are?
and tell me why,
everytime I find someone that I like,
we end up just being friends.
I would hate for you to find somebody new,
Who you really love, cause it would mean losing you.
But am I a fool girl not to see,
if I'm always scared I'll lose you anyway.
Somehow somewhere I've got to choose.
No matter if it's win or lose.
Now tell me..
(Chorus)
I don't wanna be like your brother,
I don't wanna be your best friend.
I only wanna be your lover.
When will this end?
If i told you that I wnat to be in your life,
then you could be the woman in mine.
Now tell me
(Chorus x2

Yeh, yeh
Yeh, yeh
Oh yeh
You gave me something
Like loving
And took me in so soon
You took my feelings
From nothing
Came back at noon
Just meet me
Im ready
To show myself to you
So if I lose my patience
You must try to understand
(try to understand)
If I lose my patience
Oh yeh
Cause you make me feel
Cause you make me feel wild
You touch my inner smile
You got me in the mood
So come on and make your rule
And free me
You make my wishes
As much as
Your kisses make me blue
Youve found my river
Now will you
Escape away too
But baby
Im ready
Im falling into you
So if I lose my patience
You must try to understand
(try to understand)
If I lose my patience

Sometimes you make me feel so high
Theres times I ask myself why
Sometimes I need to be alone
Theres times...
