What Is Flirtation?
What is flirtation? Really,
How can I tell you that?
But when she smiles I see its wiles,
And when he lifts his hat.
'Tis walking in the moonlight,
'Tis buttoning on a glove,
'Tis lips that speak of plays next week,
While eyes are talking love.
Tis meeting in the ball-room,
'Tis whirling in the dance;
'Tis something hid beneath the lid,
More than a simple glance.
'Tis lingering in the hallway,
'Tis sitting on the stair,
'Tis bearded lips on finger-tips,
If mamma isn't there.
'Tis tucking in the carriage,
'Tis asking for a call;
'Tis long good-nights in tender lights,
And that is-no, not all!
'Tis parting when it's over,
And one goes home to sleep;
Best joys must end, tra la, my friend,
But one goes home to weep!

Sweetest Sin
Can you imagine us,
Making love..
The way you would feel the first time that we touched,
Can you think of it..
The way I dream of it,
I want you to see like im seeing you..
It's a picture of perfection,
The vision of you and me..
Your lips upon my lips,
Can you just picture this..
Your finger tips on my finger tips,
Your skin upon my skin..
Would be the Sweetest Sin,
Would be the Sweetest Sin..
All night I lie awake,
Cause it's to much to take..
Dreamin' about the love that we could make..All day,
I think of scenes..
To get you next to me,
I want you so bad that I can barely breathe..
It's a sign of my obsession,
That I can't stop thinkin bout'
Your lips upon my lips,
Can you invision this..
Temptation that I could never resist,
Your skin upon my skin..
Would be the Sweetest Sin,
That would be the Sweetest Sin..
It would feel so good,
To be so bad..
You don't know how bad.. I want that,
I would do anything to feel your love..
Your lips upon my lips,
Can you just picture this..
Your finger tips on my finger tips,
Your skin upon my skin..
Would be the Sweetest Sin,
That Would be the Sweetest Sin..
Your lips upon my lips,
Can you invision this..
Temptation that I could never resist,
Your skin upon my skin..
Would be the Sweetest Sin,
Would be the Sweetest Sin..
Your lips upon my lips.. would be the Sweetest Sin

The Mounlight Dance
The moonlight dance
I will dance with the mooninthe sky
Moonlight dance
Moonlight dance
I am crazy also about the moonlight dance
And I am also crazy about the moon
Also I believe that I am falling in love with the moon
While I am dancing the moonlight dance
Moonlight
I find you amazing
And you shine so bright inthe sky
Moonlight dance
Moonlight dance
Moon it is getting late
And soon it will be time for us to go to sleep
Moonlight dance
Moonlight dance
It is now time to say good night to each other
Because we need to sleep
And I need to go home now

Sleep! Sleep! Beauty Bright
Sleep! sleep! beauty bright,
Dreaming o'er the joys of night;
Sleep! sleep! in thy sleep
Little sorrows sit and weep.
Sweet Babe, in thy face
Soft desires I can trace,
Secret joys and secret smiles,
Little pretty infant wiles.
As thy softest limbs I feel,
Smiles as of the morning steal
O'er thy cheek, and o'er thy breast
Where thy little heart does rest.
O! the cunning wiles that creep
In thy little heart asleep.
When thy little heart does wake
Then the dreadful lightnings break,
From thy cheek and from thy eye,
O'er the youthful harvests nigh.
Infant wiles and infant smiles
Heaven and Earth of peace beguiles.

French Kissin In The Usa
Loves touch comes to mean so much.
Embrasser cest francais.
Loves way, sabandonner.
Slip into the velvet glove, parted lips so filled with love.
Lips upon forbidden places, lingering in long embraces.
French kissin in the usa!
Lips are in motion.
Ocean to ocean to ocean, ocean to ocean to ocean.
Paris is calling!
Falling, were falling, were falling, falling, were falling, were falling.
Lips close, then blossom like a rose.
Lips wide holding you inside.
Kisses hard, kisses deep, a kiss to wake us from our sleep.
Take your lover by the hand, speak in tounges and understand.

After Hours
Walking down the hallway, its too dark
Too dark too see anything
Why are the lights off
How did they forget I was studying?
I have been at school for 10 hours
I had to go home but I don't know my way
I cant see the hallway its too dark
where am I going?
where do I go?
Stretching my hand out infront
reaching my way home
No windows in the school, but why?
My hand reaches up
A breath crawls over my hand
glowing blue eyes shone
Leading me, not home, but to death
Come on now
the dark voice moans
Do you want to be late home
Then a white storm surrounds me
What is going on?
That night I never came home
But I became a part of something
the memories in the dead pupils

A Cautious Listener
when i speak to you
i always keep my own eyes
sometimes when i speak to
some sort of people like you
i am afraid that after i have spoken
my eyes are no longer in their sockets
i get blinded
and then i find myself lost in the
labyrinth of our thoughts
and then i tell you that you are such
a cruel chatter
leaving me trembling with my fingers
trying to find my way back
home
and you tell me
where is home my friend? is there a home for you?
basic as what is home? depends on what home is
and then i begin to bite my nails
i shrink
a small child
asking where mom is where dad is
when house and home are gone
when the stairs are too high
when the lights are turned off and i am outside the door
when all the friends are saying their prayers with their moms
and when it begins to rain
and i have nothing to run to
and so now i am careful when you start talking to me
i touch my eyes feel my eyelashes
for a touch of home
my tongue gets twisted before
but now as careful as a cat, my tongue is a rope tied on a tree
the other end open ended
like a fork of the snake
spelling each word correctly
when you speak i listen
and i will not let you know that i do not easily believe you
i have a book in my head
and it is enough
it is good.

Home is where our bed is
We can fight all we want
You may even call me names
Telling me how much you hate me
But home is where our bed is
Home is where you forgive me
Home is where i let go of all the pain
Home is where we come to
When we show all our love
You can tell me how stupid i was
I can even show you all my anger
I can vent thru you
And you will feel like walking away
But home is where our bed is
And our bed we most come to
There i will tell you how sorry i was
And there you will forgive without no holding back
You can tell your friend
How bad I've treated you
You can even make some up
And they find it hard to forgive me
But baby home is where our bed is
Home is where you take my crip and still says i love you this man
Home is where you tell your friends that they are wrong
Home is where you tell them all to go to hell
Home Is where we wake up to
Home Is where you forgive
Home Is where you don't sleep 0n me baby
Home Is where our heart is
H0me is where all doors are closed!
Curtains are drawn!
Blinds are shielded! And 'its just you and me
Home is where you forgive no matter how big the sin is
Cause home is love
And i love you!

The Key-Board
Five-and-thirty black slaves,
Half-a-hundred white,
All their duty but to sing
For their Queen's delight,
Now with throats of thunder,
Now with dulcet lips,
While she rules them royally
With her finger-tips!
When she quits her palace,
All the slaves are dumb-
Dumb with dolour till the Queen
Back to Court is come:
Dumb the throats of thunder,
Dumb the dulcet lips,
Lacking all the sovereignty
Of her finger-tips.
Dusky slaves and pallid,
Ebon slaves and white,
When the Queen was on her throne
How you sang to-night!
Ah, the throats of thunder!
Ah, the dulcet lips!
Ah, the gracious tyrannies
Of her finger-tips!
Silent, silent, silent,
All your voices now;
Was it then her life alone
Did your life endow?
Waken, throats of thunder!
Waken, dulcet lips!
Touched to immortality
By her finger-tips.

Taking A Glance At You
taking a glance at you
is poetry in itself, by itself and for itself.
there are words in my eyes
they speak in silence. They long to tell you what i feel.
there are hands on my lips. There are fingers there.
They long to go near you and kiss your lips too.
i see you as words too. Your eyes are images of my
own happiness. Your lips are shaping the shapes of ships
and they have sails to take me away to ecstacies.
i feel you as words of love, and lust and desire insatiable.
my fingers want to read every syllable in your face.
you have always been my poem. And there are so many of you
in all of them.
words, and images, and ecstacies. faces and compositions.
i love all of them. And this time i take a glance again.
at you. this poem. this is you. Believe me.

I May Not Awaken
Roma ryan
When the warmth of the day becomes the night
Who could sleep beneath a strange moonlight?
No guiding star
So far from home
Walked the way o promise to find but snow
Throughout, the voice of the winds brings nothing more
Than low echoes
So far from home
Even from a child
A wish is not enough
For me, for me the sky may fall
And even from a child
A dream is not enough
Could be, could be the sky may fall
Could be, could be the night ends all
No rains could weep as I have wept
To know a simple dream will not be kept
I am a child
So far from home
One by one the sky falls
I may not awaken

The Kiss
Lips' language to lips' ears.
Two drinking each other's heart, it seems.
Two roving loves who have left home,
pilgrims to the confluence of lips.
Two waves rise by the law of love
to break and die on two sets of lips.
Two wild desires craving each other
meet at last at the body's limits.
Love's writing a song in dainty letters,
layers of kiss-calligraphy on lips.
Plucking flowers from two sets of lips
perhaps to thread them into a chain later.
This sweet union of lips
is the red marriage-bed of a pair of smiles.

Give Me A Home
Give me a home to call my own
A humble home of wood or stone;
A place where ripples laugh all day
And songbirds sing and children play
A little home of love and cheer
Where seasons paint throughout the year,
And at last, when the day is through,
A place where I may talk with you.
Give me a home to call my own,
A friendly home to stand alone
And crown some earthly mound of clay
Or set before an ocean spray,
A simple home of faith and trust
Where I may toil in Heaven's dust
And when, anew, each day is through,
A place where I may be with you.
Give me a home to call my own,
A common home of tree or stone;
A place where kindness lights the way,
And flowers bloom and willows sway-
A home of love where hearts may kiss
Each tender joy of wedded bliss,
And in each hour of life to find,
A truer peace of heart and mind.

My Secret
You've been told my secret
Not from the words of my lips
I wanted to keep it
Keep it on my finger tips
Wanting to tell you myself
Trying to find my courage
Wondering what are you thinking to yourself
Loosing all of my courage
Leading me far away from you
Slower each day
My eyes want to catch you in my view
Walking past you each day
But I don't won't to stray away
My heart is beating faster
For what I'm about to say
My lips begin to chatter
Chatter with the words in my mind
As I'm telling you my secret
From the words of my lips this time
Now you can keep it... our secret
(Choices Poem) All Yours
Let my finger tips do the talking
I am crawling
I am walking
I am marching
If only for a little while
To rise up, to rise against
To show the weakness in man
I am but a contradiction in words
I am a man of many masks
One each for a different task
I think way too fast
Just slow it down bit
What's the hurry to go nowhere
We are already here.
Standing before you
Ready to ask
Ready to question
Demanding answers
Debated and already hated
You have just been emasculated
I'm your worst enemy.
I'm your best friend
I'm as you make it.
Be careful with that vase you just might break it
I'm here to send you to hell or help
Take it or don't
The choice is all yours
All yours
Let my finger tips do the talking
I am crawling
I am walking
I am marching
If only for a little while
To rise up, to rise against
To show the weakness in man
I am but a contradiction in words
I am a man of many masks
One each for a different task
I think way too fast
You make your claims to be of evil man
Like the invisible ghost
Most don't see you
But I do
You look like you might just be in trouble
If you need some help
Just ask
Forgive me if seem kinda of mean
Cruel and unjust
It's just the way I see things
The way I was raised
The way this has been staged
Let my finger tips do the talking
I am crawling
I am walking
I am marching
If only for a little while
To rise up, to rise against
To show the weakness in man
I am but a contradiction in words
I am a man of many masks
One each for a different task
I think way too fast
When my words are spoken
They sometime are misspoken
A slip of a letter or two and it all comes undone
What was fun, oh it becomes
An ugly face, full of disgrace
But I tell you that was never my intent
And with its time to reinvent
The scientific, and fantastic.
Star gazing under a moon lit sky
Perplexed by them all.
An endless number that never be counted
forms and shapes cascade.
Let my finger tips do the talking
I am crawling
I am walking
I am marching
If only for a little while
To rise up, to rise against
To show the weakness in man
I am but a contradiction in words
I am a man of many masks
One each for a different task
I think way too fast
So it all yours

How Many Lights Do You See?
How many lights do you see?
How many lights do you see?
There's one to say that night has come
And there's one that guards this jagged shore
And there's one to call the children home
And there's one to light the path they take
How many lights do you see?
How many lights do you see?
There's one to keep the shadows off
And there's one that tells me she got home
And there's one to read his novel by
And there's one that warms this dreary room
And there's one to watch the baby sleep
And there's one to count the blinking stars
And there's one that I just can't forget
And there's one that I remember too
How many lights do you see?
How many lights do you see?
There's one that waits for closing time
And there's one that gets left on all night
And there's one that marks the western sky
And it shines down on the quiet street
And there's one that floods the darker parts
And there's one that hurts my tired eyes
And there's one that says she's not asleep
And there's one that waits for her to wake
How many lights do you see?
How many lights do you see?
There is one that spills out on the beach
And it sparkles on the jetting rocks
And there is one that waits for tired ships
That sleep within this tired port

Turn Blue
See a black Eldorado
Oh, rolling along down below my window
That black girl in the back looks pretty good
Christ! She's beautiful
You know how soft she is
Just what you feel like
Oh, I'm so far away from her
Jesus this is Iggy
You, you might as well come with me,
When you ride the ride
There's talk and I don't wanna talk
Oh mamma, I shot myself down [x4]
They're stepping on our hearts
Stepping on our hearts
I don't know why they're stepping on our hearts
Damn, I don't know why
Stepping on our hearts [x5]
Can't you see, oh no, Stepping on our hearts
How come the blacks, how come they copy you so good?
They get off on you, so ?
If you wanna make it
Young man you gotta make somebody come
Come out of your black [x2] and strong
Black! Strong! Black!
Jesus it's cold in this room, it's really cold
You know I never told you about this, but there's one guy
Somebody I really love, he's never around
Well he was taking things that could be alright, that could be nice
And make him ugly, so damn ugly
And we put out the lights on them
Yeah, we'd make it dark, we put out the lights....on them
It's idiots like you that screw me up
I know there's nothing to you
And I don't know why I treat you so kind
Come down and dance with me, dance with me
You got nobody left but me
Oh accept me, don't reject me, don't forget me
Mamma, what colour will the lights be? Will they turn blue on me? [x2]
Mamma, I shot myself up, woh mamma, I shot myself up, up, up, mamma
Up down, up down mamma
Oh oh oh oh oh mamma
I didn't know what I was doing, I didn't mean to, but I did it, I shot myse
