Prayer
Lord, let us pray.
Give us the open mind, O God,
The mind that dares believe
In paths of thought as yet untrod;
The mind that can conceive
Large visions of a wider way
Than circumscribes our world to-day.
May tolerance temper our own faith,
However great our zeal;
When others speak of life and death,
Let us not plunge a steel
Into the heart of one who talks
In terms we deem unorthodox.
Help us to send our thoughts through space,
Where worlds in trillions roll,
Each fashioned for its time and place,
Each portion of the whole;
Till our weak minds may feel a sense
Of Thy Supreme Omnipotence.
Let us not shame Thee with a creed
That builds a costly church
But blinds us to a brother's need
Because he dares to search
For truth in his own soul and heart
And finds his church in home and mart.
Give us the faith that makes us kind,
Give us the open sight and mind-
O God, the open mind
That lifts itself to meet the Ray
Of the New Dawning Day:
Lord, let us pray.

Open Minds
Open your mind,
to things unknown,
search the universe
of your soul.
Open your mind,
to your heart
of feelings
buried deep within.
Open your mind
to your ear
of nature and
its beauty.
Open your mind
to knowledge
of things
unlearned yet.
Open your mind
to days gone
by of memories
vanished away.
Open your mind
to your feelings
hidden away
deep in your heart.
Open your mind
to my heart
to know how
i feel toward you.

Sonnet-Give Me More Patience, Lord
Give me my patience Lord, give me some more;
The world denies the fairness that I seek;
And on the contrary, they hurt me sore,
Of mind and heart that is lamb-like and meek.
Give me my patience Lord, against my foe;
He irks me more, the humbler I become;
And every day, he gives me greater woe;
I've got to make my body and skin, numb!
Give me more patience Lord, I need some more;
My enemies unite to threaten me;
My heart has never revenge in its core;
They will not let me be, what I must be.
Give me more patience Lord, I ask for more;
I pray you open me another door.

Restoration Of Faith
the restoration of faith and undying love
was given to us from the lord above.
this restoration will be everlasting.
jesus then said: the same way that god has given it to me
i will give it to thee.
i will restore in you-the father, the son, the holy ghost
this is the gift you will treasure thr most.
for if you are pure in mind and deed
whatever you do you will succeed.
faith in me and faith in god
is the restoration from the start
and it begins with your heart.
so open up your mind and hear what i say
you had this from the very first day
of when you was baptized with water
to erase mortal sin
and over the devil you would win.
this is the restoration that i give to you
hold it dear- hold it true.

Politik
Look at the earth from outer space
Everyone must find a place
Give me time and give me space
Give me real, dont give me fake
Give me strength, reserve control
Give me heart and give me soul
Give me time, give us a kiss
Tell me your own politik
And open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Just open up your eyes
Give me one, cause one is best
In confusion, confidence
Give me piece of mind and trust
Dont forget the rest of us
Give me strength, reserve control
Give me heart and give me soul
Wounds that heal and cracks that fix
Tell me your own politik
And open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Just open up your eyes
But give me love over, love over, love over this, ahhh
And give me love over, love over, love over this, ahhh

(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
Well you're out there, on the highway
While you're drivin', a-roll on by
Goin' south between the bridges
While the river's runnin' dry
And if ya can't come home
Please send your mind
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
Now you're talkin', where ya goin'
On the train that sees the road
'Cross the nation, passing stations
While the night is as black as coal
And if you can't come home
Please send your mind
(Send your mind)
(Send your mind)
Ooo!

Well, if your handle ain't, on your heartbeat
And your headed between the sheet
And the sign isn't from the lamp post
On the corner of the street
And if ya can't come home
Please send your mind

You're Not Alone
In a way, it's all a matter of time
I will not worry for you, You'll be just fine
Take my thoughts with you, and when you look behind
You will surely see a face that you recognize
You're not alone, I'll wait till the end of time
Open your mind, Surely it's plain to see
You're not alone, I'll wait till the end of time for you
Open your mind, Surely there's time to be with me
It is the distance, that makes life a little hard
Two minds that once were close, Now so many miles apart
I will not falter though, I'll hold on till you're home
Safely back where you belong, And see how our love has grown
You're not alone, I'll wait till the end of time
Open your mind, Surely it's plain to see
You're not alone, I'll wait till the end of time for you
Open your mind, Surely there's time to be with me

Its About Time
I used to be a famous artist
Proud as I could be
Struggling to express myself
For the whole world to see
I used to blow my mind sky high
Searching for the lost elation
Little did I know the joy I was to find
In knowing I am only me
Im singin in my heart
Im singin in my heart
Im singin love to sing
I love to sing it from my heart
Oh the creation yeah
Of a good time doin my part
With an open-hearted laugh of realization in my mind
And now Im but a child who art
Erect in humility
Serving out a love for everyone I meet
In truth who are really me
Im singin in my heart
Im singin in my heart
Im singin love to sing
I love to sing it from my heart
No-no-no no no
Hoo no hey yeah no-no-no-no
Its about time now its about time now
Its about time now dont you know now
Its about time now its about time now
Its about time now dont you know now
Its about time we get together
To be out front and love one another
Brothers sisters everybody
We better start to help each other now
We need it now
When were sharin our love brother
Thats when we know we can shape another world

Trouble In Mind
by Bob Dylan
I got to know, Lord, when to pull back on the reins,
Death can be the result of the most underrated pain.
Satan whispers to ya, "Well, I don't want to bore ya,
But when ya get tired of the Miss So-and-so I got another woman for ya."
Trouble in mind, Lord, trouble in mind,
Lord, take away this trouble in mind.
When the deeds that you do don't add up to zero,
It's what's inside that counts, ask any war hero.
You think you can hide but you're never alone,
Ask Lot what he thought when his wife turned to stone.
Trouble in mind, Lord, trouble in mind,
Lord, take away this trouble in mind.
Here comes Satan, prince of the power of the air,
He's gonna make you a law unto yourself, gonna build a bird's nest in your hair.
He's gonna deaden your conscience 'til you worship the work of your own hands,
You'll be serving strangers in a strange, forsaken land.
Trouble in mind, Lord, trouble in mind,
Lord, take away this trouble in mind.
Well, your true love has caught you where you don't belong,
You say, "Baby, everybody's doing it so I guess it can't be wrong."
The truth is far from you, so you know you got to lie,
Then you're all the time defending what you can never justify.
Trouble in mind, Lord, trouble in mind,
Lord, take away this trouble in mind.
So many of my brothers, they still want to be the boss,
They can't relate to the Lord's kingdom, they can't relate to the cross.
They self-inflict punishment on their own broken lives,
Put their faith in their possessions, in their jobs or their wives.
Trouble in mind, Lord, trouble in mind,
Lord, take away this trouble in mind.
When my life is over, it'll be like a puff of smoke,
How long must I suffer, Lord, how long must I be provoked?
Satan will give you a little taste, then he'll move in with rapid speed,
Lord keep my blind side covered and see that I don't bleed.

The House Of The Lord
this is the house of the lord
where people come to pray
the house of the lord
where your problems are washed away
so i enter the doors, and there in plain sight
is my lord jesus
then i know everything is alright.
he makes me choke up with emotions
that i never felt before.
yet i know deep in my heart
it will be there forever more.
he comes into our hearts and makes the gloom disappear
and takes away our worries, and all our foolish fears.
so i give myself to him with every ounce
of strenght, knowing that when i walk out
i'll see a better day, and the joy will
fullfill me in a much better way.
now when i'm lonely and my mind seems to stray
i look at all the homeless children
who try to run away,
with no one to turn to and nowhere
for them to go, they turn to the church
because of the faith that had been bestowed.
this is the things that you find in the
house of the lord.
so i say to you with my head held high
he has the power of that there is no lie.

Church
The Church is Church my brother, a place to meet with one another,
A place to meet with our Lord, where grace and mercy are implored,
That place for worship and praise, lifted up to The Ancient of Days,
Men gathering, to bring glory to, The One Who created me and you.
Church is a body of those, who know, The Lord and desire to grow,
In the knowledge of Christ our Lord, as Christ's Body in one accord,
A place to encourage others in Christ, while living in this present life,
Support, that we can only receive, from men in life who also believe.
Church is more than a gathering, of men together to praise and sing,
As it's a place to seek The Lord, who, by love makes us one accord,
As believers are in the presence of, Jesus Christ, Who reigns above,
As Christ builds us together in unity, through the power from Calvary.
The local Church is the very heart, of The Savior's mission, to impart,
The very Truth of God's Salvation, in reaching each and every nation,
The Lord scattered His early Church, for His mission of greater worth,
So that as His Church, we could herald, God's Truth into all the world.
Today's Mission, is still the same, when Believers gather in His Name,
To focus upon our Lord God first, while The Savior builds His Church,
As The Lord grants direction to, His Living Stones, that's me and you,
To finish God's purpose, through us, all, for the glory of Christ Jesus.

Heart And Minf Fight
My mind says,
Stay in the room
My heart says,
See the universe
My mind says,
She has only a body
My heart says,
She has a beautiful soul
My mind says,
Get the degree
My heart says,
Get the knowledge
My mind says,
Kill the neighbor
My heart says,
Love the neighbor
My mind says,
Plunder the entire world
My heart says,
Give to the world
My mind says,
God is not here
My heart says,
God is here
My mind says,
Rule on the earth
My heart says,
Live equal on the earth
My mind says,
Invent new weapons
My heart says,
Keep the peace
My mind says,
He is a small man
My heart says,
He is a big man
My mind says
He is ignorant
My heart says,
He is wise
My mind says,
Live for money
My heart says,
Live in love
My mind says,
He heart you
My heart says,
Forget his mistake
My mind says,
Don’t agree with his opinion
My heart says,
I respect his opinion
My mind says,
You are great poet
My heart says,
You are nothing

Live Your Life Be Free
Live your life be free
Live your life be free
Open up your mind and you will see
You should be with me baby
You should be with me
I see you walking with her
I see you all around
But you don't seem very happy now
You seem very down
I know you feel an obligation
To her emotional state of mind
This is the time in your life baby
When you should be having a good time
And if you want me I'll be there
To run my fingers through your hair
And if you need me its alright
Come on over baby, and see me tonight
You got to
Live your life be free
Live your life be free
Open your mind and you will see
You should be with me baby
You should be with me
You know that I'll be waiting
You know my heart is true
I will be your everything
And give everything to you
So if you want me baby I know
Don't have to knock knock down my doors
Her heart was meant to be broken that day
You got a lot of love to live
So why dont you
Live your life be free
Live your life be free
Open your mind and you will see
You should be with me baby
You should be with me
You should be with me baby
You should be with me
Live your life be free baby
Live your life be free baby
Live your life be free baby
Live your life be free baby
Live your life be free baby
Live your life be free baby
Live your life be free baby
Live your life be free baby
And when you free your mind
You will leave your past behind
Live your life be free
Live your life be free
Open your mind and you will see
You should be with me baby
You should be with me
Live your life be free
Live your life be free
Open your mind and you will see
You should be with me baby
You should be with me

Lord Give Us The Strength
Lord Give Us The Strength.....,
To suppress our fears....,
Lord Give Us The Strength....,
To fight our tears....,
It's a rough, tough, world...,
Every day is a test...,
But powerful and proud...,
We’ll always do our best....,
Still more and more....,
We need your support....,
So Lord Give Us The Strength....,
Lord Give Us The Strength.
Lord Give Us The Strength.....,
To keep the faith….,
Lord Give Us The Strength....,
To conquer hate…,
It’s a harsh, cruel road…,
We travel through life…,
But we feel comfort….,
Guided by your light....,
Still on and on….,
We pray for your love....,
And to worship you....,
Is our sole intent......,
So Lord Give Us The Strength....,
Lord Give Us The Strength.

When I Pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
Im praying lord my soul to keep
If I die before I wake
Somebody make a big mistake
Im only just one little man
Just usin up the air
Still Im askin anyway
Lord when I pray, please be there
Lord when I pray, please be there
Singin om om my god, please be there
You know Im just like all my kind
I got a weak and confused mind
When I feel a little pain
You know how I love to complain
But I try to be strong
I try hard to lift my share
I dont expect for nothing
But lord when I pray, please be there
Now I sing for you

Faith in the Air
I grew in Christianity
With faith to the Divinity
Always in church to pray
And sing songs His way
Such times are often zestful
Have keep my faith quite truthful
As I persist each day in the Lord
Speaking the tongue of His word
Even when adversity strikes
My heart, mind and body alike
Are strong with my faith intact
For Jesus is with me quite exact

Respect Him more
I was....
Like to criticize other
Like to make fun other
Like to give a wrong judgment
Like to think i always right
Like to push someone to follow me
Like to think maybe other girl jealous of me
Like to think well.... i am cute, boys will love me
Like to think well.... i am smart, i can work everywhere i want
But now, Lord open my mind and soul
After i married to this man
He makes me change my mind
I use my feeling more then anything
I choose to be an observer
Then if i write
It's more about me
and it's like a mirror to see my own
Then, i can change what should i have to change
I always be a optimist person
Like my brother always remind me
Now, i know what his means
I thank to God to have those brothers who love me
Who say my name on their prayers
To those lovely wives
Beautiful and smart wives
Bring cheerful and happiness in to my ordinary life
Then, i give my heart to be build by God
When me and my husband learn to respect Him more
Lord, Teach Us How to Pray Aright
Lord, teach us how to pray aright,
With reverence and with fear;
Though dust and ashes in Thy sight,
We may, we must draw near.
We perish if we cease from prayer;
O grant us power to pray;
And when to meet Thee we prepare,
Lord, meet us by the way.
God of all grace, we come to Thee
With broken, contrite hearts;
Give what Thine eye delights to see,
Truth in the inward parts.
Faith is the only sacrifice
That can for sin atone;
To cast our hopes, to fix our eyes,
On Christ, on Christ alone.
Patience to watch, and wait, and weep,
Though mercy long delay;
Courage our fainting souls to keep,
And trust Thee though Thou slay.
Give these, and then Thy will be done,
Thus, strengthened with all might,
We, through Thy Spirit and Thy Son,
Shall pray, and pray aright.

Open
How many places can one be at one time?
I believe various places
If we open up our minds, now
We don't just open our minds
We open your heart too
It really sort of easy and alot of fun to do
One two three is the total count for me
you also should count too
Let's review your complete score
Giving life to your visions
Is a way to explore
Practice makes perfect
So daily
do it some more
May each time you open the windows of
your mind and heart
Your joy increase as you demonstrate
The star in which you are
