Sonnet
I am in need of music that would flow
Over my fretful, feeling finger-tips,
Over my bitter-tainted, trembling lips,
With melody, deep, clear, and liquid-slow.
Oh, for the healing swaying, old and low,
Of some song sung to rest the tired dead,
A song to fall like water on my head,
And over quivering limbs, dream flushed to glow!
There is a magic made by melody:
A spell of rest, and quiet breath, and cool
Heart, that sinks through fading colors deep
To the subaqueous stillness of the sea,
And floats forever in a moon-green pool,
Held in the arms of rhythm and of sleep.

Africa's Glory
AFRICA’S GLORY
I long for Africa’s glory
A story that swells from earth to sky
A deep slow liquid beauty
A spell of rest, a quiet breath, a jungle born melody.
I am in need of Africa’s glory
The magic of African gold on my fingertips
A diamond heart that sinks through fading colors of platinum
The richest continent in minerals, the poorest in human life.
They came and told us we could not own our lands
The Muslims ordered us to give everything to Allah
The Christians suggested to donate our possessions to God
Each taking everything for themselves, leaving Africa to die.
The world seems to ignore the origin of its wealth
The fretful riches, bitter tainted wonders of creation
The mighty rhythm, the subsequent stillness of the Sahara
The over quivering limbs of children waiting for death.
I think of uranium, iron, bronze, copper and silver
The most precious stones floating in a moon-green pool
Your human treasures old and new that flow around
To heal the poverty of an honestly greedy mankind.
No center of all centers, no core of cores
The plain arrogance to know more than we deserve
Stupidity self-enclosed, growing sweet
In the political minds of our Darling super leaders.
Billion stars go spinning through the night
Blazing high towards the furthest universe
An endless space where thick fluids illuminate your peace
The omnipotent presence that will be when others are no more.
Africa’s story, the vast dunes of the desert hiding the silent tears
A rude, violent anger that spells the syllables of my name
The ancient rich rivers of the Nile, the wild Congo and the Zambezi
The ancestors of Kilimanjaro and the Drakensburg Mountains.
I want Africa’s glory
A song to fall like water on my head
A healing dream to raise the tired dead

The Song
There is a song in my head.
It won't allow me to rest.
I still feel the melody playing in my breast.
The melody, the memory of your touch.
The harmony, the joy of my thighs and my lips,
As we welcomed you.
There is no music; I long for you,
Our dance and the movement of your hips.
The taste of you still lingers on the tip of my tongue.
We both sung this our beautiful song.
The senses have not forgotten you.
The song in my head, its like none I have heard.
It needs the music, that only you can play,
Gently on my back with your finger tips

Melody

O' Melody, names like the angel's song;
music swaying around thine love
but of thy love my days be long;
O' my Melody, sang my song.
I long to hear thy voice, thy angelic voice
soothes away my hearts desire.
But it be that of love's choice
echoing upon thy voice.
Can thee forever love a lonely man such as I,
or do thee live on knowing not that of love,
or do thee walk passed and curse myself to die?
This feeling, this love O' Melody I cannot deny.
Let me hear thy choir of thy song;
a voice so deep calming the soul.

Sinister Lullaby
A Sinister Lullaby

A melody flowing caressing the nightly air,
its soothing sound echoes a flair.
It sprung from the lips of a maiden aloft;
the angelic song, sung ever so soft.
This peaceful lullaby dares be at ease;
it is peace and harmony, this song decrees.
I dare not wake from this melody slumber,
this rest entrance me to encumber.
The melody continues through the night,
caressing the angelic lunar light.
It steals my breath, my soul, my heart;
it speaks a lore to impart.
It torments my dream, my self, my being;
to hear this earthly angel singing.
I cannot wake from this melody trance;
darkness consumes as the angel dance.
I cannot wake from this grimful hollow;
an ethereal silence, who fears to follow.
All life trembles at her voice,
leaving all to surrender, not by choice.
Her melody sways forevermore,
stealing the souls for many yore.

Because, music is my eternal life.......
When there is a song about love
then the music does become a soul of my heart
When I hug the melody of music
then I feel the spirit of words, traveling with me
When the voice of music passes in the air
then my ears are listening to its harmony
When I close my eyes and feel the rhythm of its music
then I dream an angel of its music goes around me
Melody is my love and the eternal music is my life
The music has its own story that plays with amazing emotions
and I can hear its beautiful song with touching rhythms
Let it be symphony, classic, jazz or hard rock
but everyone loves music which has only one language
in this universe that has known as Sound of Music.
Anyone who has no interest themselves in music

Jerry felt the music deep within his soul.
Music that echoed through the ages
Music of the human experience
Painful and beautiful
He did not know how to give it a voice.
He could sing, and he learned to play.
Songs that knitted together threads of time
While creating and playing songs
He heard his inner music
And his quest for the perfect song began
He shared his love of music
With a few special people
Who also had songs within their souls
But only a few understood his passion
And no one understood his quest
Until he met his accompaniment
Who also wrote songs
Together they created music
And the music in Jerry’s soul adapted
