Philosophy
I am sorry...
You have no lullabys to sing to me,
In a breath sweetened gingerly...
With peppermint schnapps.
I am not numb by your rhythmic indecisions.
Nor stunned by your absence to call me by first name.
I understand how my appearance may confuse you!
But let my words confuse you not.
I am not a Huxtable.
Nor does my last name begin with 'X'!
I am proud of my past...
And how I arrived to look you in the face!
Trust me...
I have been called everything conceivable,
One can call another human being!
In a place affectionately known as 'the brickyard'
Enduring 'many' years of...'reality touches! '
I was not raised to worhip images of you.
And no empathy or apology do I extend!
So I hope you and I will understand...
I do not view you as a competitor,
Nor do I have thoughts...
As to which one of us is a better man!
I hope that is comprehended?
I have a different purpose here...
In the event you thought I sought your approval!
None of that nonsense has ever been in my head!

Of Life And Of Nature
I knew just as much about them fifty years ago
Of Life and of Nature as now I do know
Though from our dealings with people we learn every day
We learn as we live as some are known to say
But Nature of course is a different thing
And though the praises of Nature the Poets may sing
And though from living near Nature insights from her we do gain
Her secrets from us as great mysteries remain.
Even since the invention of the first motor car
Human kind in technology have gone so far
But the greatest are mere mortals just like you and I
And great minds are born and great minds must die.
The achievements of human kind doubtless are great
But Nature out of nothing something can create

Lies That Heal Tomorrow
It’s hard to live a lie, sometimes you smile when all you want to do is cry.
It’s hard to ask why, cause the answers that come can be critical to one’s mind.
Sometimes It’s hard to live a lie, when all you wish for is to just roll over and die
Sometimes It’s hard to ask why, cause why seems to become rhetorical after a while.
There are days when I wish I could just die, parish-evaporate to the skies or like ashes vanish into the atmosphere and forever burry my lies…
and there are times when I see through humans eyes what it truly means to be alive, smile, walk for miles, spend time with loved ones, embrace another soul, love without any costs, breathe without fear, miss your presence here, cry without sorrow, kiss for today and tomorrows, live life to the fullest without the slightest worry.
And then I exhale, and say tomorrow will be a better day.

it can be sapphire
it can be ruby
it can be pearl
it can be a diamond
or even a humble quartz
you pick in your garden
it can also be a cat's eye
oh what a name?
why should it monopolise
the eye?

all gemstones are eyes

gemstones are theatres

Freaky
boy, you are a freak,

Another Hope..
When the first hope breathes its last
Another one begins to crawl.
A future stares at it though.
When the crawling ends for once
It sits and looks around
And then reaches out to objects far.
It studies at the school of optimism
But the hands of pessimism grip it next
And it wears an attire of illusion.
The hope blooms in a withering smile
As the images of illusion snare at it for long
And there goes the home bell - it should leave.
It returns to a home deserted
By the lone guardian the bold ego -once a strong friend too
And finds no solace in the vacant chambers of the mind.
The second hope lives alone -how hard!
But no terror enters its domains - ah!
For it should live for a race in dismay...

Gave me a smile, one I could keep,
one I could look at before I tried sleep.
I must remember just how you look
when we were happy, the picture I took.
The smile I remember. It's all I've got.
It's right by my pillow. It's where you are not.
Can't live without you. I don't know how.
Trying so hard to, remembering our vow.
Made you a promise never to break
all that we had dear, I cannot forsake.
I need more time. My mind still can't cope.
The loss is too hard. Where is the hope?
Will peace ever come, maybe in dreams?
Your smile is my life. That's how it seems.
My heart's yours forever as I look back.
My future without you? It's bleak and it's black.
Maybe I'll find you some other place.
The smile I remember still on your face.
Only a miracle can stop the pain.
