Romeo and Juliet Nowdays May Keep Alive

Romeo and Juliet
Loved each other much
But for their family's sake,
Decided not to stay in touch.

Unfulfilled love
Day by day grows
Not one life lost in vain
Not one to have grief's big pain.

Quite a while after
Romeo and Juliet did meet again
Some tea with no sugar
Happily shared.

Over a hundred pictures, (familly stuff)
They talked cried and laughed.
It looked like
Were having the most happy time
Of their entire life!

But time's runing fast
Day almost fades
To drive her back home
Her granddaughter came.

With tears in eyes
A kiss on one cheek
Few hugs and good byes
Both try hard not to cry.

Last glance at his sparkling eyes
Gently touches his cheek
Then, mistakenly like,
Runs out with his walking stick.

Not much to pass
From this side ready to depart
With one of her last breath
Asks for the cane.

Her hand clenched on cane
Embraced it and asked
To be kept by her side
In the grave.

Then kisses good bye
All family: one by one
And last, with a smile,
..The Cane.

Romeo Loves Juliet

Sitting on the balcony sipping on her herbal tea
Thats juliet, juliet
Talking on her mobile phone doesnt like to be alone
Thats juliet, juliet
And if she wont hang up or put down that cup
Hows that girl ever gonna know
That romeo, romeo loves juliet
Romeo, romeo loves juliet
Wishing her life away nothing left for me to say
About juliet, juliet
I dont wanna know let the poison steel the show
For juliet, juliet
And if she cant see the wood for the trees
Hows that girl ever gonna know
That romeo, romeo loves juliet
Romeo, romeo loves juliet
Love keeps no time but life slips through your fingers
Love has no design but its memory lingers
Romeo, romeo loves juliet
Romeo, romeo loves juliet
Romeo, romeo loves juliet
Romeo, romeo, romeo loves juliet

Romeo Vs Juliet

Romeo: I'm searching for another woman
Juliet : You think I'm innocent young girl
Romeo: In my enemy's house party
Juliet : Why are you looking love when there's only hatred?
Romeo: You are rose that has many thorns
Juliet : I know you are under my balcony
Romeo: So I say I will throw my name
Juliet : Am I that fool to believe sweet words?
Romeo: We swear love when there's only hatred
Juliet : I lost my cousin for your tragic friend
Romeo: They are too honest and brave to follow our game
Juliet : You leave me with another spoiled boy
Romeo: There's not other ways besides runaway
Juliet : For whom this trick I must play now?
Romeo: You don't tell me before I drink my poison
Juliet : You don't tell me before I stab my heart
Romeo & Juliet: Could this pain be love when there's only hatred?

Not Romeo, Not Juliette

This is story about a boy and girl
Trying find a life in the big world
Somehow they're together
There ain't much to the mystery
Misery loves company
She just waves her hand and says whatever
Well this ain't love this ain't love this ain't love at all
And he says...
We're not Romeo we're not Juliet
How long does it take to fill this emptyness
We're just two lost souls and baby we got no regrets
We don't wanna say bye-bye
Babe it's just you and I
We're not Romeo we're not Juliet
He ain't pretty with his hard old heart
Second generation immigrant scars
And he knows that this ain't heaven - no
She's all skinny like a cigarette
And he's the only thing - the only thing that she respects
And he's trying to make it better
This ain't love this ain't love this ain't love at all
And she says...
We're not Romeo - not Juliet
You'd thought you'd seen it all - but you ain't seen nothin' yet
We're just two lost souls and baby we got no regrets
Now it's just you and I
We're nothin' unless we try
We're not Romeo - not Juliet
It has feel right but it never does
It has to be perfect but it never is
You wanna be sure but you never do
We're not Romeo or Juliet - it's just me and you
Ya it's just you and I
We're nothin' unless we try - oh no
We're not Romeo - not Juliet
No we're not - that's a fact

Romeo

A cross between a movie star
And a hero in a book
Romeo comes struttin in
And everybody looks
cause hes just got that special thang
That everybody needs
And everybody wants him
But not as bad as me
Hey, romeo, where art thou
Get out here on the floor
I want to dance you darlin
til you forget wherefore
Lets two step to a new step
Well keep it all in line
And well call this the romeo
cause youre so mighty fine
Chorus:
Romeo, romeo, romeo come dance with me
That sexy little body
Beats all Ive ever seen
I aint never seen a cowboy
Look that good in jeans
My temperature keeps risin
Every time we meet
I may not be in love
But let me tell you
Im in heat
Chorus:
Romeo, romeo, I just know Ill get you yet
Romeo, romeo, I want to be your juliet
So step it high, step it low
Step it out and in
Step to the side and let it slide
Then steppin up again
Step on toes, it all goes
Steppin as you please
But Im one step away from love
So dont step out on me
Chorus:
Romeo, romeo, romeo with the magic feet
So step it high, step it low
Step it out and in
Step to the side and let it slide
Then steppin up again
Step on toes, it all goes
Steppin as you please
But Im one step away from love
So dont step out on me
Tag:
Romeo, romeo
I just know Ill get you yet
Romeo, romeo
Wont you be my juliet
Romeo, romeo
Romeo, romeo
Fade & repeat

Joan and Romeo's Juliet

Once upon a time,
There was a Romeo and a Juliet
But Juliet was really Joan
who left Romeo to lead the captives to victory
Then captured and put on trial for heresy
After judgment was rendered, but before being burned at the stake,
a peasant girl loosened Joan's chains and won her heart
They Escaped to France to
live happily ever after in eachother's arms

Romeo got elected to congress
And as he rose in power,
He set out to win back Juliet
Only to find that his efforts were in vain
So on one very dark day,
He stole Juliet's lover away…

Joan offered ransom for her lover
Romeo gave a counter-offer
And in France at sunset
Romeo and Joan met
Over coffee
To negotiate the heart of Romeo's discontent
An offer to let Joan's lover go
In exchange for Joan to return as Juliet
And it was so
That her lover was let go...

But empty beds do lie a lover's soul
That cannot bear to take in the sunlight all alone
And so it was, that Joan's lover died of a broken heart
After coming home to find a note
'Had to return to Romeo. Love Joan xoxo'

Upon hearing her lover's fate
Joan, a version of her former Juliet self,
Took upon her lips a mix of poisons sure to set Joan free
From the Juliet of her Romeo
To live in heaven with her lover happily

Soon after, Romeo returned, anticipating a Juliet open and waiting
But saw instead that death had taken hold
Realizing too late - that Juliet was always Joan

And Romeo, who swore he would live with no other,
that he could never recover...indefinitely,
the very next day,
married his press secretary

The end

Hey Juliet

[Intro]
Hey Juliet
Hey Juliet

Hey I've been watchin' you
Every little thing you do
Everytime I see you pass in my home-room class
Makes my heart beat fast
I've tried to page you twice
But I see you roll your eyes
Wish I could make you reel
But your lips are sealed
That ain't no big deal

Cuz I know you really want me
I hear your friends talk about me
So why you tryin' to do without me
When you got me
Where you want me?

Chorus:
Hey Juliet
I think you're fine
You really blow my mind
Maybe someday
You and me can run away
I just want you to know
I wanna be your Romeo
Hey Juliet
Hey Juliet

Hey Juliet

Girl you got me on my knees
Beggin' please

Had Cell Phone Been

Had cell phone been,
In Shakespeare's age;
Would there have been,
Deaths in tragedy's page?
If Romeo and Juliet had,
Their personal hand set,
They could have talked,
And never been so upset!
Juliet must have given,
Romeo, missed call, on and on,
Romeo, rining her back,
Would not drink the vial of poison.
It might not turn into a tragedy.
Rather we could tell it tragi-comedy!

Poem Never Read, Until Now

No long ago
There were two young lovers
Like Romeo and Juliet;
They passionately
Kissed and hugged each other
Under the blanket
Of a summer night....
They swept deeply
With joy and ecstasy...
Followed by:
Phone calls,
Voice mails,
E-mails
Ans Instant Messages...
Then the distance
Separated the two lovers...
She found a new lover
From distant and strange land
New kisses with new flavors...
New dreams and new lust...
Her first Romeo was forgotten,
While back home
He was confused and lost
Wondering what went wrong
while listening over and over the song
That reminds him of his Juliet now gone...
What an irony of life,
He got so depressed
That by alcohol he got possessed
Writing a love poem
Which she never read,
After taking his own life
Hoping to meet her again
In paradise...

Your Kiss

Your kiss is all over my lips and,
I am in love with you;
Your kiss will absorb me into your heart,
But i don't know what to do;
Look at yourself and do tell me the difference,
I am all that you need on this love.
Love is really stronger than you know,
It makes you do things you don't even expect;
Like Romeo and Juliet,
You can see this love in my eyes.
My sweet one,
We are alone in this Garden of Eden;
In this garden where true love grows.
Your kiss is all over me,
True love is stronger than you think;
Like Romeo and Juliet,
You are all that i need.

Romeo and Juliet

I don't want to be like Romeo
You don't need to be like Juliet
Baby I want to be a hero
You should have the very same mindset

No No No
I don't want to be like Romeo
I restate
You don't need to be like Juliet

People will watch in the video
I am much better than Romeo
Since if I had to flee
I would take you with me

People will think you are great
You don't need to be like Juliet
Since if we would marry
You should have lived with me

The Capitalist Florist and a Wild flower

'You asked my name isn't it?
My name is Orphan.' The Wild flower muttered.
'It's a strange name.' Handsome florist replied.
'What's your good name Sir? '
'I am Romeo.'
'Romeo, I am not your Juliet
Just a Wild flower and I would like to compete the other flowers.
Still I am proud of being a Virgin
Boisterous Hornets and Bees never touched me.
You know a Plectrum that touches the strings,
Strings never cry of the play
Please pluck me gently
It's really painful and I believe you
That you never betray me
Or offer me to a Betrayer!

Shakespeare's Sister

Chidinma, she's Shakespeare's sister
For she also has the beauty of Juliet.
She shines more than a rising star
Gave light to my dark;
And brought love back to my heart.
Wonder if I could beat Paris in a duel,
And give her a ride to the sky,
Fairy creatures on our every side.
Romeo was too impatient,
Suicidal was no option for Juliet,
And the families now they are reconciled
Too late did they realised there's nothing
to be gained from the fight.
Let us kill the feud early enough,
And allow our children live happilly in love,
For Romeo was too impatient
And suicidal was no option for Juliet.

Romeo: Love is a smoke raised with the fume of sighs;
Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers' eyes;
Being vexed, a sea nourished with loving tears.
What is it else? A madness most discreet,
A choking gall, and a preserving sweet.

Juliet: What storm is this that blows so contrary?
Is Romeo slaughter’d, and is Tybalt dead?

0296 Casting for a new production

The second act went really well tonight,
pity it’s so near the end of the run,
it’s good enough for a West End transfer;
they’re a good bunch when we work together

no thanks, not tonight old man –
got some TV ad lines to learn,
well it’s good money for old rope…
seeyer chizmate

make-up off, stage door chat –
after a good perf., who wants to pub it,
hear yet again about how they triumphed together
in Romeo and Juliet god how many years ago
looking at them now – obscene..

*

When people used to tell me
how old people sat lost to the world
in a golden haze of memory,
I used to think
borING..! not me, not on your life…

but it’s not quite like that:
a touch of unexpected thought
may clothe loved actors in a new-stitched garb –
before you took the stage and they
were cast by you as your supporting roles –

they too were Romeo and Juliet,
throwing the curtains open on their red-eyed dawn…
and you, not even yet the twinkle
in the future’s eye…
they’d played the serving-maid, the page,
the jaunty clown, the flirt, the on-off, bright-eyed savagery -
the toilers in the burning, dusty sun,
the heroes in a life of war and peace,
had hopes you never knew or asked,
and then, invited you to join their cast…

these were such unknown people, just
as unimportant as you are seen as, now…
but loved, by those you never knew or thought of…

now, in your lean and slippered age
you can re-read their lines,
these fellow actors whom you thought
because they loved you, that you were their life…
now, as you re-write the stories of their lives,
cast them as beloved strangers

The Guy I Love

his instinct and humor
dazzles me
his intelligence and dignity
make me love him more
his name
gives me hope for another tomorrow
he's everything i ever wanted in life
knowing him is my greatest happiness and
i can't afford to lose him

his eyes sparkles as if
stars were been store in them
his lip are glace that
strike my heart
his touches make me come alive
his smile makes me
wanna be with him always
his words melt away
my anger
his absence is like
a big handcuff
his voice makes my days
his kisses remind of the way
romeo kisses juliet
above all,
he's love
radiates good attitudes and goodness that can
never be measured

Blow Your House Down

She did go
She got my jokes
Sit why we win
Go by the sin
Get high, get quick
Get bopping on a stick
Hollywood
Shake by go
Get barking in sin
Get high with the folks
Get down in the swim
Don't you walk away
I want you baby
How does it feel
When you're meet her in your home
How does it feel
When you feel her, let it go
Bono: "break."
Bono: "turn that guitar up there."
Sugar sugar sugar sugar sugar
Sugar sugar sugar sugar sugar
Sugar sugar sugar sugar sugar
Ah, it ain't over child
Your racing car
Raised by the boldness
You know you are
Your lips like cherries
And they call to me
I wasn't in the bottle
Next to me
I'm down by the call
Maybe the sun
Where nobody feels
They gotta give it and go
She's...gonna take her chances
Gonna take her chances
And you don't
Jump...you're gonna be the tele'
Is there anybody calling
Is anybody home
Anybody home
'body home
Anybody home
Bono: "just drums."
She likes it
Little bit of sky
Locked in the ocean
Bitty bitty sky
On a crutch rate
Country
Some scratch for it
Others snatch for it
Can't scrape for it
Can't escape for it
Check it out for it
Turn a sip for it
Some slip from it
Others strip for it
Any grip for it
What is it
What is it
What is it
Some preach for it
Even teach for it
Like a leash to it
Can't be teaching them
All crawl for it
Still stall for it
All fall for it
When you jump for it
Some slash for it
Others stash for it
Some cash into it
Others smash for it
Do lines for it
Break rhymes for it
Do crimes for it
Do time for it
Sugar cane, sugar cane
Sugar cane, sugar cane
Sugar cane, sugar cane
Sure...we're gonna take our chances
To turn and seek you
Couldn't go
Bono: "and again."
Sure...we're without a reason
I'm calling out for love
Is there anybody home
Bono: "nice."
Ray got caught
Her fingers in the till
Sent us home
Money came to will
Frank came home
With a black and blue
Working at the station
Where he can't break through
Was working on the coin
On the union stand
With a digital aid
And a union band
Saw a moving statue
Saw the bullet train
And a sheltered city
Where clowns scream
Our move ruined it
Saw the money god
Brothers say by a ring
Others sat by the brim
Tonight high-q site
Want these inocent
Bing-bang
And the big bang
Big bang, big bang
Die...like a butterfly
Die...like a butterfly
Die...like i'm gonna die
Die...like a moon in charge
Die...
Midnight...is where the day begins
Midnight...
Bono: "edge.

William Shakespeare

Juliet: Wilt thou be gone? it is not yet near day:
It was the nightingale, and not the lark,
That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear;
Nightly she sings on yon pomegranate-tree:
Believe me, love, it was the nightingale.
Romeo: It was the lark, the herald of the morn,
No nightingale. Look, love, what envious streaks
Do lace the severing clouds in yonder east.
Night‘s candles are burnt out, and jocund day
Stands tiptoe on the misty mountain tops.
I must be gone and live, or stay and die.
Juliet: Yon light is not daylight, I know it, I:
It is some meteor that the sun exhal‘d,
To be to thee this night a torch-bearer,
And light thee on thy way to Mantua.
Therefore stay yet; thou need‘st not to be gone.
Romeo: Let me be ta‘en, let me be put to death;
I am content, so thou wilt have it so.
I‘ll say yon grey is not the morning‘s eye,
‘Tis but the pale reflex of Cynthia‘s brow;
Nor that is not the lark, whose notes do beat
The vaulty heaven so high above our heads.
I have more care to stay than will to go:
Come, death, and welcome! Juliet wills it so.
How is‘t, my soul? let‘s talk; it is not day.
Juliet: It is, it is: hie hence, be gone, away!
It is the lark that sings so out of tune,
Straining harsh discords and unpleasing sharps.
Some say the lark makes sweet division;
This doth not so, for she divideth us.
Some say the lark and loathed toad change eyes,
O, now I would they had changed voices too!
Since arm from arm that voice doth us affray,
Hunting thee hence with hunt‘s-up to the day.
O, now be gone; more light and light it grows.
Romeo: More light and light; more dark and dark our woes!
