Self-Worth
A rock on the river sits
Collecting moss, tufts, and weeds
As others moved by a torrent
To unknown shore from a distant
A rock, I am, in that sense -
Of self-value - what have I missed?
Than a new flow passing by
Under the arms of its stream
Each bathes of sunrise and sunsets
Clueless mornings of muddled clouds
Or a cascade of moonrise
I'm unmoved without self-pity

Never Know Why
If were offensive and pose a threat
You fear what we represent is a mess
Youve missed the message that says it all
And youll never know why

You cannot rule everybody in sight
But you condemn dont understand
And youll never know why
Oh no youll never know why
We rock rock rock
We rock rock rock

We rock
I leave you cold and in disgust
Dont try to tame me youll eat my dust

Hammock Upon The Winds
there lies sadness like patches of green moss
sticking upon a rock half covered by the clear water of the river
one may think that sadness will always be there as patches of
what we have always wanted to get rid off like peeling them off gently from
an old sharp and rugged edged rock
sometimes you become so tired planning and doing and then surrendering into the helplessness of a fallen leaf that floats and is carried slowly by the current of the river early morning on a Sunday
when people are not around spending holidays on places that they miss for the whole week
and so one lays its tired body on the side of the river's bank
wades his hands and feels the coolness of the water and then starts to flow and release what he thinks must be given away
one feels the restfulness of finally giving up
of not minding about what cares must be done in order to make
life smoother
flowing and easier like the way the brown leaf floats
like the way the blue clouds drift
like the way we let the moss grow
upon the side of the rock
having more wet times with the clear water of the river
having a clearer view of the orange fish within and the shiny pebbles
beneath them
words lull me like i were carried by the hammock upon the arms of the unseen winds....

Rocking
(traditional czech carol; english lyrics by percy dearmer)
Hush my baby, sweetly sleep
Do not cry
I will sing a lullaby
I will rock you, rock you, rock you
I will rock you, rock you, rock you
Feel my arms that keep you warm
Snuggling around your tiny form
Precious baby, sweetly sleep
Sleep in peace
Sleep in comfort, slumber deep
I will rock you, rock you, rock you
I will rock you, rock you, rock you
Close your eyes my darling one
til the new day has begun
I will rock you, rock you, rock you
I will rock you, rock you, rock you
Sleep in peace til day has come
Darling, darling, little one

The River Forever To The Ocean Flow
The river that flows from the hills far away
Through wetlands and dry lands by night and by day
As old as father time will journey forever more
Through the flat coastal lands en route to the sea shore.
It starts on it's journey as a trickling rill
In a pond by a rock at the base of the hill
That is far north of here even as the crow fly
The river flows on and refuses to die.
From a rill to a stream and into a river it grow
As rills and streams from other hills into it flow
It babbles and gurgles by hedgerow and tree
On it's forever journey on down to the sea.
A creek, brook, stream or river call it what you may
Near the ocean it grows to a huge water-way
And Humans like the Seasons to life come and go
But the river forever to the ocean flow

We Will Rock You
Buddy youre a boy
Make a big noise playin in the street
Gonna be a big man some day
You got blood on your face, big disgrace
Kicking your can all over the place
(singing)
We will, we will rock you (ha ha)
We will, we will rock you (cmon)
Keep the beat up, why, Im gonna turn your heat up
Gonna get you on the floor, gonna burn your feet up
Rockin you, like Ive never rocked you before
Like the way I do, got your screaming for more
Were causin utter devastation
When were stepping to the place
And better believe that you can see
Were gonna rock and never stop
And here we go again
Hit you with the flow again
Kick it up the second time around
Well bring it on again - shout it out
We will, we will rock you (were gonna rock, were gonna rock ya baby!)
We will, we will rock you (were gonna rock, we gonna rock, we gonna rock ya)
We will, we will rock you (were gonna rock, were gonna rock ya baby!)
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go,
Ah!
Buddy youre an old man, poor man pleading with your eyes
Gonna make you something some day
You got mud on your face, big disgrace
Somebody better put you back in your place
(singing)
We will, we will rock you (were gonna rock, were gonna rock ya baby!)
We will, we will rock you (were gonna rock ya)
We will, we will rock you (were gonna rock, were gonna rock ya baby!)
We will, we will rock you (yeah, yeah)

Rock In The Weary Land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
Yes my love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
None of this moves me,
I should be weeping but it only hurts when I yawn
I let it blow through me, and its gone!
Im dressed like a scarecrow
Stripped of all my power, as if some judge in judgement said
Off with his great coat, and his head!
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
Meaningless movies
On the screen behind the band thats blowing flowing shapes
Half of their music is on tape
My mentor and champion is busy tilting at the windows of his stately home
The daemon hes grappling
Is his own!
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
Yes my love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
His letter lies open
His accusations flow like poison from his every word
My heart would be broken, but for her
The fag-end of winter
Im in shock! Im on the ropes! I dont know whats become!
She plucks the splinter from my thumb
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
Yes my love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
My love is my rock
In the long, low, weary land
In the weary land!

R.I.P. (Rock In Peace)
Aaaaaah
Leave me alone
Like a dog with a bone
Like a stone that's been thrown
Let me be on my own
Let me rock
Let me rock
Let me rock
Let me rock in peace
Outta my way
Got a boogie to play
Every dog has his day
Rock 'n' roll's here to stay
Let me rock
Let me roll
Let me rock
Let me rock in peace
Ohhh, feels good, Mumma Mumma
Just like I knew it would
I get my kicks
Outta playin' my licks
Outta layin' my chicks
Down on Route 66
Let me rock
Let me rock
Let me rock
Let me rock in peace
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
I wanna
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
Just let me rock
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
I wanna
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
I wanna rock
Let me rock in peace
Oooh, that feels good
Hey Mumma
Just like I knew it would
Outta my way
Got a boogie to play
Every dog has his day
Rock 'n' roll's here to stay
Let me rock
Let me roll
Let me rock
Let me rock in peace
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
I wanna rock
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
I wanna rock
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
Ohhh rock
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
I wanna rock
Let me rock in peace
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
Like Little Richard
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
Oh Jerry Lee
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
Aah Chuck baby, c'mon
(Rock, rock, rock in peace)
I wanna rock
Let me rock in peace

Were Gonna Rock Forever
Down the highway, all across the nation
Trucks are moving rough, we pass the break of day
Sure looks like were all gonna rock forever.
Rock, rock, rock.
After midnight you see the big trucks rolling
Pushing metal on down the super slab
Sure hard to tell from here where we are going
Rock, rock, rock.
Do it inside, do it outside, baby
Do it over again in the same old way
From now on were all gonna rock together.
Rock, rock, rock.
Sure looks like were all gonna rock forever.
The way we just keep rolling on and on
Yeah, sure looks like were all gonna rock forever.
Rock, rock, rock.

Rock 'n' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution
(All right)
Hey there, all you middle men
Throw away your fancy clothes
And while you're out there sittin' on a fence
So get off your ass and come down here
'Cause rock 'n' roll ain't no riddle man
To me it makes good, good sense
Good sense
Ow
Oooh yeah
Heavy decibels are playing on my guitar
We got vibrations coming up from the floor
We're just listening to the rock that's giving too much noise
Are you deaf, you wanna hear some more
We're just talkin' about the future
Forget about the past
It'll always be with us
It's never gonna die, never gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll ain't gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll it will survive
Yes it will, ha ha ha ha
I took a look inside your bedroom door
You looked so good lying on your bed
Well, I asked you if you wanted any rhythm and love
You said you wanna rock 'n' roll instead
We're just talkin' about the future
Forget about the past
It'll always be with us
It's never gonna die, never gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll ain't gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't no pollution
Rock 'n' roll is just rock 'n' roll
Oh Rock 'n' roll ain't noise pollution
Rock 'n' roll ain't gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't no pollution
Rock 'n' roll ain't gonna die
Rock 'n' roll ain't no pollution

Wanna Rock
(myles goodwyn)
Published by northern goody two tunes, ltd./capac - ascap
Dont wanna move or get out of bed
That rock n rolls going straight through my head
They say Im stupid, I really dont care
Whatever they say, well I say thats fair
All I wanna do is rock n roll
All I wanna do is rock and rock some more
Wanna rock, wanna rock
Wanna rock, wanna rock
Dont waste my money driving round in a car
Save my money for electric guitars
Disco musics just a social disease
If it dont rock me, then it aint gonna please me
All I wanna do is rock n roll
All I wanna do is rock and rock some more
Wanna rock, wanna rock
Wanna rock, wanna rock, wanna rock
Turn up the music, lets have a good time
Dont pull no punches, lay it right on the line
New wave, old wave, third wave will do
It dont matter when Im dancing with you
All I wanna do is rock n roll
All I wanna do is rock and rock some more
Wanna rock, wanna rock
Wanna rock, wanna rock, wanna rock

To Gather Moss And More Of Moss
to gather moss
be a stone
to gather more moss
be a very still stone
be a stone still till the end
of time
you stand still and think
you want to be the moss
rather than a stone
to be all moss
you must betray the stillness
of stone
you must even forget
the importance of
what a moss can be
then you think some more
to be completely this moss
you need to be friendly
to the water and to the river
then you decide to be the water
instead of the moss
to be more than the water
you wish instead to become the river
and so you flow and learn the rush
and become the running river
until what you want really
is just to flow
to rush and run and then
you become nothing
but the motion itself
until you are lost
and then
you become what you are now
lost but real
always flowing, rushing, running
where nobody owns you
not even the river
or the stones or the moss
you have become
this running, this flowing, this being
so real so free

Sunrise at Skellig Michael
Night’s paling azurite horizon
cloaked in a gossamer veil of clouds
briefly contests the sunrise
thus allowing nights last stars
some fickle final twinkling
before dwindling from sight
But the Sun has promises to keep
a rendezvous with day
already marked as tardy
by screeching of gulls and gannets
which orchestrate impatient puffin jigs
Sunbeams breach the clouds
gathering strength on far horizon
they surf the ridges of distant waves
gilding each crest in turn
in the race to meet the shore
Light pools around Skellig Michael
and creates a magic floating island
briefly trapped between sea and sky
mysterious as monks
now lost in mists of time
My glimpse being but a pale shadow
snatched from distant flattened shore
leaves me envious almost
of those who contemplated in solitude
centuries of such miraculous dawns
Reader’s note: Skellig Michael, also known as Great Skellig, is a steep rocky island about 16 kilometres off the coast of County Kerry, Ireland. It is the larger of the two Skellig Islands. A celtic monastery, which is situated almost at the summit of the 240-metre-high rock, was built in 588, and became a World Heritage Site in 1996. My own meager experience of this glorious sunrise (from distant flattened shore) comes only by way of viewing the program ‘Sunrise Earth’ on Discovery HD Theater.

Rock'n'roll Is Alive (And It Lives In Minneapolis) (Tony Fly Mix)
And It Lives In Minneapolis)
(Rock 'n' roll is alive!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive (Rock 'n' roll is alive!)
(Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis!) {x2}
From all over the world the people came
Even the President flies in 2 worship a thing called fame
Red, white, and blue boy / girls - 2night everyone's the same
Some people say it's dyin', but we don't wanna play that game
Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis! (Sing!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive (and it lives in Minneapolis!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis! (Sing!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive (and it lives in Minneapolis!)
Sure as the drive around Lake of the Isles is cool I know (Oh)
Rock 'n' roll will never die like the Minnehaha flow (Oh)
Sure as the land of a thousand lakes is sometimes made of snow
There'll always be another king 2 die butt-naked on the floor (Oh)
Rock 'n' roll is alive and it lives in Minneapolis! (Sing!)
Rock 'n' roll is alive (and it lives in Minneapolis!) (Oh)

Rock-a-rock-a baby
We could rock-a-rock, rock-a-rock-a-rock
Rock-a-rock-a baby
We could rock-a-rock, rock-a-rock-a-rock
Rock-a-rock-a baby
We could rock-a-rock, rock-a-rock-a-rock
Rock-a-rock-a baby
Rock-a-rock-a-rock, rock-a-rock-a-rock
The time is right, no time for games
Gonna make you know my name
When we make love, I want it more
We do the things I never seen before
Baby we can do it fast or very slow
I can love on top or I can love you low
There aint nothing that I would not do for you
Cuz baby, tonight were gonna do what you wanna do
And however you need it
I dont mind if you like
To get together for a while baby, if you like
Give you everything that youll ever need
Cuz baby you bring out the freak in me
I dont mind if you like
To get together by the candlelight tonight
Show you everything, you just wait and see
Cuz baby, you bring out the freak in me
Spend the night
Lets do some things
Lose control, feel no shame
Im feeling you like youre feeling me
Im bout it

Can Streams Flow Along The River Sides?
Can the streams run upto the oceans far?
Can they run along the side of the rivers known?
You were a river and I a stream
Who flowed together once.
Using the sixth sense I read your mind
The one none could read before.
Each line written on your mind
Unveiled a portrait painted never.
You were a river and I a stream..
Aside my failing senses old
Triumphed my sixth sense young.
You, the river got flooded
And I, the stream was drowned.
Denouncing the last reason left you kept even my soul off-
An act someone else could have done.
Each word spoken at my funeral often
Unravelled the mystery of your mind.
Along the side of the river of your ego,
May I flow as a stream entwining you ever in the next life too?

Daytime Nightime Suffering
What does she get for all the love she gave you
There on the ladder of regrets?
Mighty river, give her all she gets.
What does she get for all the love she gave you
There on the ladder of regrets?
Daytime nightime suffering is all she gets.
Where all the prizes for the games she entered
With little chance of much success?
Daytime nightime suffering is all she gets.
Come on, river, all the flow
Let your love of you people show.
Come on, river, flow through me,
Let your love of you people be.
You are the river, I am the stream.
Flow mighty river through me.
What does it pay to play the leading lady
When the like the damsel in distress
Daytime nightime suffering is all she gets?
No less (no less), no more (no more)
No sea (no sea), no shore (no shore)
No sand (no sand), no pail (no pail)
No fairy tale anymore.
Come on, river, flow through me
Dont be stopped by insanity.
Come on, river, overflow,
Let your love for your neighbours show.
You are the river, I am the stream.
Flget it.
But if we forget it every now and then.
But if you dont feel it, later on youll regret it.
And if we let it we could set it free, you and me.
