The Story Behind The Fire This Morning
before the house was razed by fire
the old man visited the house and cried
telling me about a young man who promised
that if he ever loves another woman
the house shall be burned
to strip it of its meaning
at 6: 30 today early morning the firemen
called it a day. The house is gone
The old man gone. The young man gone.
i like to write the story behind all these
misfortune
but i am afraid that some parts of it
may not be true
or that if true, it may not be fair at all,
or that it be totally unjust
so that there is no use
writing it anymore
The old woman died a year ago
She floated in air
suffered vertigo
she gave up finally
the young man to the world
heard the promise of the old man

We’re Going
Me and Christine are going to run away,
we’re going to do a runner next Saturday.
We don’t know where, but we’re going far,
we’re going by bus and train, and not by car.
We’re going at seven on Saturday night,
because her father’s been touching and that isn’t right.
We’ve been saving our money for some weeks now
we haven’t got enough, but we’ll manage somehow.
When Chris visits my house she’s full of tears
and leaving her sisters are her biggest fears.
We’d like to take her brother and sisters too,
but we haven’t the money for more than two.
We’ve just got to get away from this terrible situation
there’s more than family to take into consideration.
Her dad says if she tells on him he’ll just leave everyone,
that’s his wife, three daughters, Christine, and his son.
Chris's mum believes everything is fine with this guy,
but she can’t tell her, because she would think it a lie.
So, we've no choice and we've just got to get away,
and we’re going at seven next Saturday.

Sisters
She left me and my world just died.
She left me and all the tears I cried

Time has passed but my memory's clear
and at times it's almost like she's still here.

The separation scene, still hard to accept
is the necessary void that has always kept

I Hate Everything
He was sitting there beside me

With Your banner of love proudly unfurled
For today's the day You have set me free
If today's the day I finally move
May I move boldly toward holy life
Allowing You to guide me through the strife
As I dance for joy for You've made me move
And, if today's the day I find Your peace
May I promote that peace to all I meet
Living in peace and loving those I greet
As I gratefully give others Your peace
If today's the day I will hear Your voice
May I know it and may my heart rejoice
