Too Many Women
Sometimes I see your face so plain.
On stormy days I see it wet with rain.
I see your eyes playing tricks on me
and it's folly to pretend to be
unnoticed when they're staring at you.
Oh that these moments would not be few.
Sometimes I can't see your face so plain.
It's on these days I feel the pain.
I can't see your smile.
It's turned into a frown
and it's a frustrating loss that brings me down.
unsatisfied and despondent that this can be.
I fling myself into this mystery.
Why can't I picture you all of the time?
Sometimes I feel as if I'm blind.
There are too many women with tears in their eyes
and too many men that will never realize
the depths of the feelings women undergo.

I came here for you.
I've watched you for days.
You're everything a man could ever want.
It's not just your face, your figure or your voice.
It's all the things I see in your eyes.
I see a crazy calm.
You're ready to face what you have to face.
But you don't want to face it alone.
She's soft and warm and almost weightless.

I see somewhere around me
A face with a difference.
I see a face that`s not set on my face.
Its lips don`t kiss mine.
Its breath doesn`t feel mine

I have a secret to keep
A secret to keep that deprives me of sleep
It deprives me of sleep but leaves me a smile

The Mourners
I look into the aching womb of night;
I look across the mist that masks the dead;
The moon is tired and gives but little light,
The stars have gone to bed.
The earth is sick and seems to breathe with pain;
A lost wind whimpers in a mangled tree;
I do not see the foul, corpse-cluttered plain,
The dead I do not see.
The slain I would not see . . . and so I lift
My eyes from out the shambles where they lie;
When lo! a million woman-faces drift
Like pale leaves through the sky.
The cheeks of some are channelled deep with tears;
But some are tearless, with wild eyes that stare
Into the shadow of the coming years
Of fathomless despair.
And some are young, and some are very old;
And some are rich, some poor beyond belief;

I have seen a Hand

nothing is empty, only the eyes that open
with out seeing the day of yesterday
what makes then a man and proud to say
when anything goes heavy, leaving no

seems it look my face is happy

A Smile Given Freely
The skies are bleak and grey,
the colour of sadness,

hidden within my eyes.
I feel an inner warmth
