I never fit in. I am a true alternative. And I love being the outcast. That's my role in life, to be an outcast.

Be Nobody's Darling
Be nobody's darling;
Be an outcast.
Take the contradictions
Of your life
And wrap around
You like a shawl,
To parry stones
To keep you warm.
Watch the people succumb
To madness
With ample cheer;
Let them look askance at you
And you askance reply.
Be an outcast;
Be pleased to walk alone
(Uncool)
Or line the crowded
River beds
With other impetuous
Fools.
Make a merry gathering
On the bank
Where thousands perished
For brave hurt words
They said.
But be nobody's darling;
Be an outcast.
Qualified to live
Among your dead.

Wanderlust
As sure as the sun rises in the east
Another gunman will come seeking my defeat
Will he be as fast as me, are his nerves quiet and still
Will he fall like all the rest ending his days upon boothill
Im an outcast riding into town alone
I got wanderlust branded deeper than the bone
Im an outcast riding into town alone
I got a lust for wandering branded deeper than the bone
As I ride into the sunset to take another town
Thank you for the invite, but I just cant settle down
The dust that coats my hat is from a dozen towns
Dust from shooting down another dozen clowns
Im an outcast riding into town alone
I got wanderlust branded deeper than the bone
Im an outcast riding into town alone
I got a lust for wandering branded deeper than the bone
A drum beats for me, its louder every day
The cadence tells me that soon Ill meet my judgment day
Lifes an endless showdown never knowing when theyll come
I sleep with one eye open lying with my smoking gun
The game I play has caused a lot of grief
They were dying for fame, so I obliged them some relief
Im an outcast riding into town alone
I got wanderlust branded deeper than the bone
Im an outcast with lightning in my hand
I got wanderlust lost in no mans land
I got a lust for wandering lost in no mans land
I got wanderlust

Like Chased Bees Jarred In Backyards
An outcast is safe from being captured,
Like chased bees jarred in backyards...
To buzz,
As curious kids collecting insects...
During a Spring bloom.
An outcast is safe from being captured,
From those places declared...
To have a social etiquette impaired.
But times as they are do change for them.
An outcasting experienced,
Eventually frees them from minds...
Once locked in.
To find in changing times that arrive...
Those who chose to criticize,
Now find their points of view despised.
And like those trapped bees once caught in jars,
Are sought more today than they ever were.
Since people have come to realize,
A needing of the bees...
Like those chosen to be outcast,
Are part of a cycle that helps life thrive.
And if pieces of it are picked to dismiss...
Life as we know it,
Dies!

Pariah
Pariah's pulsating in sweet reverie
Their love in mine heart voluptuary
No heart love or even accept me
Except my out casted heart in revelry
Doth I drink frothy sweet seas
Of liquors dreams and voracious sprees
Only to find my empty glass
And mine sobriety devoured and my life doth pass
Bent reflections hath showed me
Truth with no lie, nothing flowery
My life drunk in my heart outcast
No sober judgment judged drunkenness vast
Still pariahs pulsate in me
An outcast man no love to be
Only loved by pariahs in me
That reflect bent in mine heart of infamy

A Roar Through The Tall Twin Elm-Trees
A roar thro' the tall twin elm-trees
The mustering storm betrayed:
The South-wind seized the willow
That over the water swayed.
Then fell the steady deluge
In which I strove to doze,
Hearing all night at my window
The knock of the winter rose.
The rainy rose of winter!
An outcast it must pine.
And from thy bosom outcast
Am I, dear lady mine.

Pursuing Virtue
I had never beheld a snake
That walked upon its belly.
I saw animals and plants so sudden;
Outcast and ashamed, I assumed
My amusement was to behold.
The snake of hell was an outcast
Due to its weight and I just smiled.
The snake ran into another man,
Who listened and got swallowed.
Denying all that makes the present world
Seem visual, everlasting and quiet.
But the stars of heaven cry out for your life
To behold the respectable occupations.
If without foot or heart or head,
You would surely strike the ground
With death, and then be consumed.
I have walked further than others
In my quest to deliberately pursue Virtue.

Who knows what true loneliness is - not the conventional word but the naked terror? To the lonely themselves it wears a mask. The most miserable outcast hugs some memory or some illusion.

Alone
Lonely and outcast
They sit alone
No one speaks
No one talks
It's as if all life and joy
Have been permanently
Dissipated
Leaving cold, dead, silence
In its wake

A man who marries an outcast is like rain wasted in the forest.
Jig-Saw Puzzle
There's a tramp sittin' on my doorstep
Tryin' to waste his time
With his methylated sandwich
He's a walking clothesline
And here comes the bishop's daughter
On the other side
She looks a trifle jealous
She's been an outcast all her life
Me

Is Freud Felicity?
Love is decried
or set aside as subjectivity
unjustified by all allied to blind psychiatry.
Reflection cast,
one stands aghast! Is Freud felicity?
Is life a vast card-index classed interdependency?
Has true-love cried
so often, sighed in vain through history?
Is trust well-tried hate misapplied for doctoral degree?
A shell shut fast
‘gainst pulses fast of pure emotions free,
must give at last, or live outcast, - despite ‘ability’.
The truths inside
instincts abide, they’re blind who will not see, -
for none should hide, with hope denied, from creativity…

Your Friend A Friend For Lifetime
Acquaintances are many but friends are very rare
For with a true and trusting friend your secrets you can share
Your friend will comfort you and advise you and you will not betray
Your friend will never disown you and as your friend will stay
When others do not wish to know you your friend as your friend remain
And feel lucky in your lifetime if one loyal friend you gain
Your friend will always stand by you no matter come what may
And when you ask your friend for help your friend will not turn you away
No your friend will stand by you when you are feeling down
When others shun you as if you were an outcast of the town
Acquaintances like Nature's Seasons they come to your life and go
But your friend a friend for lifetime and the bond of friendship grow
And the one who betrays your trust could never be your friend
Your friend to you is ever true and one on whom you can depend.

Lust Unseats Love in Modern Life
In a small circle they moved in the past
And lean books they read and got fit to jobs.
As good they were, love till the end did last.
Now one's love another man plans and robs.
From the dawn, everywhere life is fast
To harm the good, evil gathers in mobs.
A lover to Sciences be an outcast.
So rein your lovely heart that often bobs.
Till you settle down, deny access to love
and to shut the door to glances make a vow.

The Pallid Cuckoo
Dolefully and drearily
Come I with the spring;
Wearily and cerily
My threnody I sing.
Hear my drear, discordant note
Sobbing, sobbing in my throat,
Weaving, wailing thro' the wattles
Where the builders are a-wing.
Outcast and ostracized,
Miserable me!
By the feathered world despised,
Chased from tree to tree.
Nought to do the summer thro',
My woeful weird a dree;
Singing, 'Pity, ah, pity,
Miserable me!'
I'm the menace and the warning,
Loafing, labour-shy.
In the harmony of morning
Out of tune am I-
Out of tune and out of work,
Meanly 'mid the leaves I lurk,
Fretfully to sing my sorrow,
Furtively to spy.
Outcast and desolate,
Miserable me!
Earning ever scorn and hate
For my treachery.
Shiftless drone, I grieve alone,
To a mournful key
Singing, 'Sorrow, ah, sorrow!
Miserable me!'

We have often been attracted to the story of the other, the outcast. And he and I just loved working together, so it just kept happening, and our relationship is completely bound up with our work. We enjoy each other's art.

Frog
(This is a fictional poem)
Last year I thought about buying a dog.
But I changed my mind and I got a frog.
When it comes to my love life, I'm in a slump.
The girls see me and my frog and I get dumped.
I have warts on my face, my hands and even on my pecker.
When I answer the door, I scare the hell out of the bill collectors.
They all run away because my big warts makes them very ill.
I may be a social outcast but at least I'm getting out of paying my bills.
