Lookie, Lookie
Lookie, lookie, here comes Cookie
walking down the street.
The boys are all aflutter
when their eyes do meet.
She can strut and she can sway,
making them all stare.
But Cookie just keeps walking
as if they were not there.
Lookie, lookie, there goes Cookie
passing them all by.
She's not aware of how she looks
and here's the reason why.
Cookie's life is hard at home.
She doesn't trust a guy.
Her father left when she was five
and she never found out why?
Her mother told her 'Don't trust boys.
They'll break your heart in two.'
But maybe there'll be one someday
that stares but will be true.

Of Cookies... and smiling
It’s not the way that
the cookie crumbles that matters….
Nor more important is where
the cookie crumbs scatters
It’s inevitable that
the cookie will shatter
It’s an immutable fact
So what does it matter?
No…Its not the way that
Your cookie crumbles that matters
And only a little more so
Of where the cookie crumbs scatter
What’s most important about cookies…
A fact that is so simple and sublime
Is that the people who get their cookies……often
Seem to Go about smiling… most of the time

Youngblood
I saw her standing on the corner, yellow ribbon in her hair
I knew at once i was a goner, said lookie there, lookie there
Youngblood, youngblood, youngblood, i can't get you out of my mind
I tried to talk, my tongue was fractured
I tried to walk, but i was lame
Could'nt stop myseld from shouting
What's your name, what's your name?
Crazy stuff, sure look tough, had to follow her all the way home
Things went bad, i met her dad
He said "you better leave my daughter alone"
I could'nt sleep that night for trying, i saw the rising of the sun
All night long my heart felt like crying
You're the one, you're the one

The Peanut-Butter Cookie 2
-How old was he?
-About my age.
-Tell me about him, again.
-There's not much to tell. I was standing on the curb. I didn't see him coming. Suddenly, there he was. I found myself looking into his eyes. They were gray, I think.
-And?
-He stopped. He opened the paper bag he was carrying and held it out. Obviously, I was supposed to help myself. The bag was jaded and looked like it had seen alot of action, that particular morning.
-The cookies!
-Yep, the cookies. It wouldn't be nice to refuse. In those days, people still worried about such things.
-Courtesy is the most efficient form of coercion. Everybody wins.
-Be that as it may, I reached into the bag and took out-surprise-a peanut-butter cookie. I knew it was a peanut-butter cookie. It was sandy blond and had hatch marks from a fork on top.
-So you ate the cookie?
-Unh-unh.His hands were filthy, the little urchin, my doppelganger. But I waved the cookie around as if I was delighted to have it, and wanted, at that moment, nothing more. It seemed the nice thing.
-So what happened to him?
-How should I know? Suddenly he was gone.
Awful! Is consciousness just circular memory? Is reality?
-Gone. He moved on. Rejoined the parade.
-But he wormed his way into your menagerie of long-term memories-
-I guess.
-It's sad, you know.
-Why do you say that?
-Because he was so young and so poor. He's probably not even alive. He probably died of starvation. A protein deficiency.
-That's morbid. He may be quite alive and kicking. He may have won the lottery for twenty million and have eighteen grandkids.
-You're right, I guess. I just assumed...
-Don't. It tells more about the person making the assumption than about reality. People always assume tragedy.
-You're right, of course. How did it end?
-I heard my mother calling.Looking over my shoulder I saw the statue of Billy Penn-way up, the sun glinting off his hat. Then, there was my mother. In the flesh. Big as life. She grabbed my wrist and hustled me on. She was mad. Because I got away, I guess.
-And that was that?
-And that was that.

Bad Boy Boogie
Found a girl shes mamas pride
I tatooed her and now shes mine
Ill make the toast you raise the glass
Just a few words to kick the world in the ass
Round and round the town
The same ol story is told
Better lock up your daughter when the mtleys hit the road
We do the bad boy boogie
Bad is bad
Theres a method to the madness
We never kiss and tell
Have a drink on the boys
Well entertain you in style
Were innocent in every way
Like apple pie and chevrolet
Sweeter pies with different shapes
38-28-38
In an out of town alibis fit like a glove
Tell your daddy not to thank us
Honey, youre a labor of love
We do the bad boy boogie
Bad is bad
I got my finger in the pie
My hand in the cookie jar
Its just a lick and a promise
In the back seat of my car
Theres a method to the madness
We never kiss and tell
Have a drink on the boys
Well entertain you in style
We do the bad boy boogie
Bad is bad
I got my finger in the pie
And my hand in the cookie jar
Its just a lick and a promise
In the back seat of my car
Bad boy boogie

Cookie Jar
Jesus" & "Baby" sample in BG throughout}
Another life goes 2 the winner
Another soul goes 2 the dream
Another hell goes 2 the sinner
Don't give up no matter how tough it seems
Come and dig the power of somethin' above ya
It was there all along cuz it was made 2 love ya
It gave your flowers rain
Even though U won't play His game
U push it away but still it's pullin' 4 ya (I don't know)
CHORUS:
I don't know what He'll do witcha when He getcha
Put U in His cookie jar, save U 4 a rainy day
I don't know what He'll do witcha when He getcha
Put U in His cookie jar, save U 4 a rainy day
He might need U on the Eve Of Destruction
2 co-sign His order on that Judgment Day
Shout His name from the highest hill
The bigger the headache, the bigger the pill
Every purple mutha need 2 look His way
The funk is here 2 stay
CHORUS
(I don't know)
Another life goes 2 the winner
Another soul goes 2 the dream
Another hell goes 2 the sinner
Don't give up no matter how tough it seems
All in all, we got 2 come 2gether
And make a world that's 7 light-years better
Come on, don't be shy
So they're laughin' high
It's waiting 4 those who can storm the weather
Hey!
I don't know what He'll do witcha when He getcha
I don't know what He'll do witcha when He getcha
Put U in His cookie jar, save U 4 a rainy day (Save ya, save ya)
I say I don't know
(CHORUS)
Save ya, baby
Oh no, yeah
(CHORUS)
I.. I.. I.. oh I
Save, save, save me baby
I.. I..
I.. I.. I don't know what He'll do witcha
I.. I..
I.. I.. I.. I.. I don't know what He'll do witcha when He getcha
Put U in His cookie jar, save U 4 a rainy day
Baby
I..
Save me now, baby, no!
(CHORUS)
Baby
CHORUS
(Save me baby, save me baby)
I don't know what He'll do witcha when He getcha {x2}

Cookie Crumbs
Cookies will save the world.
Cookies have saved the world.
Thirteen of them landed on the moon
They called them the Apollo 13 of cookies
Chocolate Chip built the pyramids
And Macadamia painted the Sistine Chapel
The Nile runs with milk
Because the sun is an Oreo
And the sun is the Nile's favorite
Favorite cookie
Superman defeated no one
Super Sugar Cookie did all that
Double Chocolate Jackie Robinson
Was the first Afro-American to play baseball in the majors
And Oatmeal Raison was the first president
Who couldn't tell a lie
Girl Scouts sell cookies
In an effort to save the world
Because that's what cookies do best
I wish I could write more
But my cookie is gone
I ate it while I wrote this poem
My inspiration is now in my tummy
I think we all could save the world
If the world ran on cookies
But now there's nothing left of mine but
Crumbs

The Cookie Cutter Shudders
The cookie cutter shudders.
Quivering in disbelief,
The taste of cookies prepared...
No longer meets the satisfaction,
Of those seeking originality.
An ingredient wished is missed.
That shake and bake appeal,
Has lost its zest and zeal.
People of substance hunger for it.
And the cookie cutter shudders.
Since a recipe used,
Was discovered to be illegitimate.

Chocolate Chip Cookie
Like a chocolate chip cookie
I can't keep my hands off you
The moment I see or smell you
I long to have you in my hands and mouth...
You're soft to the touch, and taste so sweet
easy to digest, you make me weak
I try to resist you, but know that I can't
I long to have you..My Chocolate Chip Cookie
In the palm of my hand

His Lowness Jason II the Turd
It gotta’ be rough to be a teacher now days.
So my sympathy goes out to Susan Graham,
A 58 year old elementary teacher who taught kindergarten in Yakima, Washington.
She taught a lot of kids throughout the years; but this she wouldn’t ‘handle’ anymore,
She found a piece of one of her students on the floor.
She picked it up and she sent his turd, in a paper towel, with him home, on the bus.
Susan called the father, Jason, at work to if he was aware of his son’s accidental spillage,
The father said he was aware and his son’s extra-clothes were in his backpack.
His wife made the putrid discovery,
Of S$#T.
Jason said,
'She found a clear plastic bag with a piece of fecal matter wrapped up in a brown paper towel with the note on it, '
Did the characters of Sesame Street have to deal with this situation?
The Count say “TWO”, “If you should go number TWO, put in the toilet,
Aw, Aw, Aw, ..”
Big Bird says “You must put your droppings on a statue not on a floor.”
Cookie Monster says “You make cookie, put in pot.”
One blogger wrote, of which I mostly concur,
Rather than keeping the child for detention,
The Blogger writes:
Kudos to this teacher.
The parents are responsible for teaching their child basic hygiene and potty training not the school system. Sounds like the parents and the brat (I don’t agree about that observation) don't believe they have any responsibility or know right from wrong. Give this teacher an award for not being politically correct and teaching the parents and the brat a lesson.

Poor Little Drea
Poor little Drea
Walking down the street
Confused about the world outside
And all the persons she will meet.
Does not know what to do or say
Such a confused little girl
Always did what her mother said
Maybe that's why her mind is in a twirl.
She was never told not to smoke
Or not even to never drink or curse
No one cared what she read or did
Or the persons she might use or hurt.
She sees the examples her mother left
Knowing someday they might be her own
So sadly she walks and talks to herself
How she wished that she was all alone.
Someday she wants to become a woman
And maybe she’ll be like her mom
Maybe that's why she is so very confused
As of her mothers way she is not that fond.
As she knows there is a GOD
And he does not want us to commit any sin
But sadly that has been in her daily life
Since day one when her life did begin.
One day she might want to get married
And have a husband not two or even three
And she might want to trust in man and GOD
And hope that freedom will set her free.
As she doesn't ever want to cheat or steal
Or doesn't ever want to use or lie
She has seen that so much in her own little life
I could understand why she will sit and cry.
So as those thoughts enter her brain
I wander what answers that she might seek
Does she wish that her mother wasn't hers
As sad little Drea is walking down the street

Toeing To Toe
Did you leave your cookie cutter,
Near that boiling pot?
And it got too hot,
To get your cookies baked to taste.
Did you leave your cookie cutter,
Near that boiling pot?
Now you think you should stop...
Concentrating on your need,
For sweets.
But if you wanna,
You can still whip up...
A cool mint 'coolah-tah'.
Or have some green tea with me.
I'm having crackers and cheese.
And if you wanna,
You can still whip up...
That cool mint 'coolah-tah'.
Add some snuggled hugging....
With your toe to my toes touch too!
Did you leave your cookie cutter,
Near that boiling pot?
And it got too hot,
To get your cookies baked to taste.
Did you leave your cookie cutter,
Near that boiling pot?
Now you think you should stop...
Concentrating on your need,
For sweets.
So if you wanna,
You can still whip up...
A cool mint 'coolah-tah'.
And do some toe to toe with me.
That's if you wanna,
Do some toeing to toe...
With me.
If you wanna,
Do some toeing to toe with me.
That's if you wanna,
Do some toeing to toe...
With me.
If you wanna,
Do some toeing to toe with me.
That's if you wanna,
Do some toeing to toe...
With me!

Bad Habits
I seen you walking down the street with another man
Girl youre really shocking
I seen you walking down the street with another hand
Held in your stockings
Boys will be boys and girls will be trouble
And Im a man of bad habits
I seen you walking down the street with another man
Girl I had to have it
Bad habits
Bad habits
Bad habits
You and I we should meet
Yeah, you and I we should get together
Me and you and I should meet
In the rain and stormy weather
Bad habits
Bad habits
Bad habits
No messing around
Nows the time to start
Boys will be boys and girls will be trouble
And Im a man of bad habits
I seen you walking down the street with another girl
Man I had to have it
I know it gets into your brain
Sometimes it dribbles and goes in your veins
I tell you this boys is the same
This boys got bad habits
You and I should meet
You and I we should get together
You and i, you know we should meet
Hey babe, check it out the stormy weather
Bad habits
I got bad habits
I got bad habits

The Santa Conspiracy
From ages back in Time,
A Bishop with his coins
Gave succor to unfortunates
And funds to dower daughters.
Although this saintly Nicholas rests
Through centuries of slumber
Something of his spirit lives
When we love one another
.
A gentle vast conspiracy
Arises round this man
A tale told to the innocents
By parents in all lands.
His myth now robed in red and white
His beard now white and flowing
He dashes round the world by sleigh-
Even if it’s snowing
The story seized by those who sell
Has taken on new life
He first appears at Macy’s bash
And with Rockettes at night
Perhaps an errant Grandma
Has run afoul his sleigh
Perhaps he’s just a cookie thief
This elf to whom kids pray
All I know is evidence
Is everywhere to see:
Suspicious trails of cookie crumbs
And presents at our tree

Comforting Place
You rush downstairs to the kitchen with excitement as the heart felt aroma of chocolate chip cookies seeps through every room in your house.
So enamored and filled with relief that your anguishing wait is over, you cannot help but notice each cookie's golden brown, wrinkled crust glistening as steam whisps seductively around your nose drawing you near, as if in a trance. While rich chocolate oasises seep delicately into each cookie.
And when they are finally cool enough to eat, you push and grab for the biggest chip, filled cookie on the rack and bite eagerly into the crust, but savoring every flavor.
The texture, so soft and moist, melts like ice in a bowl luke warm water. But, as the last piece slips down your throat, the after taste is so overwhelming that you yearn for another, and another and another until you are satisfied.
But then you comforting place is shattered, like a mirror to a hardwood floor, as your mother walks in to an empty cooling rack and a nervous child afraid of what her mother will say, with chocolate smears resting in the corners of ther mouth and the tips of her fingers.
By: Cece
Age: 14
(This was orginally an imagery activity for my honors english class. Our assignment was to write about our individual comforting place and... mine was chocolate chip cookies! So, I hope you liked it. But I don't know about you but, I'm hungry!)
Marshmallow Shores
Raspberry skies raining peppermint drops
Strawberry clouds and blueberry raindrops
Candy cane trees with chocolate fences
Land of dreams that tickle your senses
Climb into my tangerine boat
Upon pumpkin seas we shall float
To laughter island where smiles are free
Ivy swings and rainbow slides you’ll see
A land where golden sunbeams sing
Chocolate cherries are bells that ring
Tickets are made of wind-dings galore
Day dream island of marshmallow shores

Me Wise Magic
Me wise magic
I know what youre feelin
What youre feeling is easy to see.
I know what youre dreamin
I have those same dreams.
Woa.. reachin for the beat again.
Lookin for a sign.
It was right here all the time, time, time, time...
I am you and you are me.
Do you believe?
Dont you trust me? me wise magic
Ow! baby its all right.
If you could see
Through my eyes, me wise magic
I feel you breathin
Dont you trust me...(trust me)
I feel you agreein
I know what you need
(whoa) dont you lie
Just you listen thru me
My words at best to you
A fortune coo coo cookie
(who are you and where are we? )
Do you believe?
Dont you trust me? me wise magic
Yeah yeah! woahohoh!
If you could see
See through my eyes, me wise magic
A little zen headed your way
Youll get it
Halfway down the interstate
Four days from now
It all goes clear
A buddhist riff for your inner ear

Hit Me With Your Best Shot
You're a real tough cookie with a long history
Of breaking little hearts like the one in me
That's okay, let's see how you do it
Put up your dukes, let's get down to it
[chorus]
Hit me with your best shot
Why don't you hit me with your best shot
Hit me with your best shot
Fire away
You come on with the come on
You don't fight fair
That's okay, see if I care
Knock me down, it's all in vain
I get right back up on my feet again
[chorus]
Hit me with your best shot
Why don't you hit me with your best shot
Hit me with your best shot
Fire away
You're a real tough cookie with a long history
Of breaking little hearts like the one in me
Before I put another notch in my lipstick case
You better make sure you put me in my place
Hit me with your best shot, c'mon
Hit me with your best shot
Hit me with your best shot
Fire away
[chorus]
Hit me with your best shot
Why don't you hit me with your best shot
Hit me with your best shot
Fire Away
