If I Knew
If I knew what the summer would bring
I would rush away the spring,
rush away the daffodil
and the sound of the whipporwill.
But I do not know what the summer will give
when their beauty and sounds no longer live.
Will I also wish the summer away
if the feeling of love cannot stay?
If I knew for certain you'd be there
no matter the season, bleak or fair
I'd enjoy the waiting days I see
and wade through them patiently.

Summer Days of Yesteryear
We often live surveying the past
as a summer season comes around,
and selecting the days of living freely
in our memory will be found.
We scrutinize the events of other Summers
experiencing great pleasure and delight
that once we knew when we were just
youngsters when life seemed to be all right.
Through the fading days of yesteryear
we filled our life with many dreams.
From childhood days to adulthood days
it was just a natural step it seems.
We miss the thrills that once was ours
the days we felt were always free.
We live it over each Summer time
and always remains a pleasant memory.
Too swiftly is the flight of time,
Though plentiful be the exuberant ways
that lead us down memory lane

Blue summer carpet tween the trees

Listening to the summer chimes,
Of summer sounds of summer time,
Bringing all that nature is,

Summer Melanoma
‘That's nice, ' I said, as Juno bathed me
In her sun.
Soon, a bronze Adonis - ogling girls!
It must be done!
I rolled over; bared a snowy skin
To bake and burn and sear beneath a din
Of ultraviolet rays…
Now I'm on the ward, I count the days to
Lesser pain, torrential rain; accepting
I'm a fool to be so vain!
I bore an awful mole, you see -
A growth, a blighted entity
Presenting as an ugly melanoma!

The Growing Season
The seasons work together
To make the world possible
Summer, the sun season
Fall, the leaf season
Winter, the snow season
And spring, the time of beauty
Summer, the yellow season
Fall, the orange season
Winter, the white season
And spring, the time of the rainbow

their was a time I knew what you were thinking
I could even pick up on what you were feeling
But these days I don’t know you
I couldn’t even guess
Not really knowing who you are

Spring is slowly leaving
And summer is swiftly arriving

I love spring but mostly I love fall
