I Went To Bed
I went to bed with the thought of tomorrow
but when I ' roused from sleep
I could not remember yesterday.
Its hours I could not keep.
And now tomorrow is today
and it makes me wonder why
I can't remember yesterday?
It makes me want to cry.
When I was younger and in my bed
I remembered everything.
But now my autumn years are here
and I find I cannot bring
my memory back, I fear.

Today
Once many walked behind me on
The same path while
Nobody has ever walked before me-
Every time I look behind
Someone is approaching me-
I could see my reflection in a pond nearby or perhaps, in a mirror-

Yesterday I done things that pleased others
Today I do things that pleased myself
Tomorrow is the day I change what I have done wrong

Today I shall change things under my control

Day's
Yesterday It has came and gone
Once again secretly it has left us behind
Now all we have is regrets and past wishes
And the many dreams we never did find.
Those days are now part of our memory
While we might think back to why didn't I
But then remorse we will always remember
While we always question ourselves just why.
Tomorrow it will never be here

That is were we put our dreams and our hopes
And where we escape from our sadness and sorrow.
It is the days that we do dread
And the days that we hope and pray to arrive

But some how they never do survive.
