Gift Giving
I leave my words and thoughts to those
who love the things I do.
The simplicity of nature and all her gifts
to help us see life through,
The graciousness of a tender heart
that offers to kindred souls
gifts beyond our limited sight
that softens the bell that tolls.
And in return I ask of thee naught
for my God has filled my wants.
He's given me all my words and thoughts
and in return I gift them to you.

The Gifts of Life and Pollution
Nature's gifts are sunny beaches,
Nature's gifts are rocky mountains,
Nature's gifts are vast oceans,
Nature's gifts are the tranquil colors in the rainbow,
Nature's gifts are rain forests,
Nature's gift is life.
Our gifts are oceans filled with toxins,
Our gifts are global warming,
Our gifts are deserted forests,
Our gifts are killed animals,
Our gifts are serious diseases,
Our gift is pollution.

Christmas Day
A young gentleman came riding past,
On a snow blue winters day,
He asked to drink by our fire
And I was pleased to let him stay,
He drank there quietly for a while,
And then he turned and said to me,
Your eyes are green,
Like summer grass,
Your lips are red,
Like a fresh cut rose,
Your hair is soft,
Like an Irish stream,
And your voice,
Is filled with sweet beauty
And the last words I heard him say
Were I shall return,
For you,
My love,
On Christmas Day
And the night will come,
But I won't sleep,
As I watch the stars that lead him,
I cannot place where he is,
But still my heart goes with him,
I'm saving all my Sunday clothes
For the day that I'll be leaving,
Father knows,
My sister knows,
And my friends,
They're happy for me,
And the priest he says,
You should thank God,
For the blessing,
Of such beauty
And the last words
I heard him say,
Were I shall return,
For you,
My love,
On Christmas Day
I shall return,
For you,
My love,
On Christmas Day
(On Christmas Day)
(I shall return for you my love)
And the last words
I heard him say
Were the last words
I ever
Heard him say
I shall return,
For you,
My love
On Christmas Day
I swear,
I will return,
On Christmas Day,
And yes,
I shall return,
On Christmas Day,
I shall return,
For you,
On Christmas Day
My love,
I will return,
On Christmas Day
I shall return,
My love
On Christmas Day

Aurobindo 152 Savitri Book 10
An appreciation on Savitri-
Book Ten: The Book of the Double Twilight
Canto Three - The Debate of Love and Death
Words within inverted commas are Aurobindo's
'Death bowed his sovereign head in cold assent:
'I give to thee, saved from death and poignant fate
Whatever once the living Satyavan
Desired in his heart for Savitri.
Bright noons I give thee and unwounded dawns,
Daughters of thy own shape in heart and mind,
Fair hero sons and sweetness undisturbed
Of union with thy husband dear and true.'
A ransom-whim to provoke her to return to earth
Wonderful cunning words by Death..
'The opposite sweetness in thy days shall meet
Of tender service to thy life's desired'
'Two poles of bliss made one, O Savitri.
Return, O child, to thy forsaken earth.'
'But Savitri replied, 'Thy gifts resist.
Earth cannot flower if lonely I return.'
'What knowst thou of earth's rich and changing life
Who thinkst that one man dead all joy must cease? '
O'Death fair your words to Savitri? much unfair
'Hope not to be unhappy till the end:
For grief dies soon in the tired human heart;
Soon other guests the empty chambers fill.
A transient painting on a holiday's floor
Traced for a moment's beauty love was made.'
'Give me back Satyavan, my only lord.
Thy thoughts are vacant to my soul that feels
The deep eternal truth in transient things.'
'Death answered her, 'Return and try thy soul!
Soon shalt thou find appeased that other men
On lavish earth have beauty, strength and truth, '...
............My consciousness this moment,
O'Guru, I'm in awe....in invincible heights
Ineffable Thee embellishing poetic creation
My inquisitive apprehension, erring Thee may opine
May thereso, let Savitri in my self arise
Aroused thereso be knowledge and fortune

A Book of Wordsworth
Thy talks on God, and glories of His fields
Are woven into my unworthy past.
The fragments of thy thoughts my memory yields
Grow dim at times, and yet they seem to last.
This little book of verses, covered red,
A gift to me, a gift of quiet rest,
Is filled with soothing words that thou hast said;
Some chosen thoughts, the wisest and the best;-
Sweet songs and gleanings from that inward eye;
The noise of bees the wind in daffodils;
The splendour of the sea and of the sky;
And Nature standing on the silent hills.
They words, thy thoughts, for me can never cease
To have that flavour of eternal peace.

This Poem Is For You
The ferocious medium of exchange,
My hands did eventually separate from,
My life is a long pillar my dear,
Sustainable in another's life,
I dont have much to plant,
Neither do I have fruit to produce,
My gift are my words,
This poem is for you
I would want to make you happy,
To take you where the water is bluest,
To lay you where the grass is greener,
Everything you desire, I wish to provide,
My pockets are empty my dear,
Yet my mind full of words,
My gift are my words,
This poem is for you
If would just pick a diamond,
Or maybe it rained gold on me,
The fortune is not on me,
The old legends do not exist anymore,
Should I buy miracles for you,
Your happiness is what I long for,
Should I be a thief to please you,
Or maybe a gambler to buy your smile,
I may not take your out for dinner,
Certainly my love will be deeper,
My gift are my words,
This poem is for you
Im not a super hero I know,
Neither the Mr. Nice guy Im sure,
Im not the charmer, nor the sweet guy
Fame exist in exception of me,
My gift are my words,
This poem is for you
I dont pursue prestigious careers,
Neither a pharmacist, nor a bio scientist,
But can walk for you in the mist,
To make you happy, I have no income,
But nomatter the distance, I can come,
Im not a man of many talents,
But im a man of many words,
My gifts are my words,
This poem is for you
Open up your heart,
Younger I know I am,
Open up your heart,
Way out of your league I am,
Open up your heart,
My gifts are my words yes

Heaven found a way
Heaven found a way to make thee perfect one
That also came along with a Son
To put thee greatest love in side his heart
And held it strong to never part
To show a Lady were her Souls Heart could find
Thee closest thing of Heaven to bind
Thee strongest love of all
One could ever wish to have the chance to fall
In love complete souls mate of thee creator
Heaven found a way to finely save her
Sent his own garden angels to guide her way
To walk with her until thee day
Heavenly gifts placed in to her soul
To tell the world what first was told
So much faith placed in to ones heart
To heal thee world that falls apart
So with heavens strongest angels and gifts
Teachings and faith bring truth to all myths
Time slips closer to heavens final try
To heal the world that wants to die
Wings will flush and crush shadows sin
Awaken all life from with in
Heaven found a way
I as me in its entirety has the words to say
I walk with thee angels of heaven
And bring to all Thee Final day
To save the souls that heaven gave
And to shadows ending sin
For life to live once again!
I shall not fall i shall Win!

With All Thy Gifts
WITH all thy gifts, America,
(Standing secure, rapidly tending, overlooking the world,)
Power, wealth, extent, vouchsafed to thee--With these, and like of
these, vouchsafed to thee,
What if one gift thou lackest? (the ultimate human problem never
solving;)
The gift of Perfect Women fit for thee--What of that gift of gifts
thou lackest?
The towering Feminine of thee? the beauty, health, completion, fit
for thee?
The Mothers fit for thee?

Remembrance
WITH COPIES OF THE AUTHOR'S WRITINGS.
Friend of mine! whose lot was cast
With me in the distant past;
Where, like shadows flitting fast,
Fact and fancy, thought and theme,
Word and work, begin to seem
Like a half-remembered dream!
Touched by change have all things been,
Yet I think of thee as when
We had speech of lip and pen.
For the calm thy kindness lent
To a path of discontent,
Rough with trial and dissent;
Gentle words where such were few,
Softening blame where blame was true,
Praising where small praise was due;
For a waking dream made good,
For an ideal understood,
For thy Christian womanhood;
For thy marvellous gift to cull
From our common life and dull
Whatsoe'er is beautiful;
Thoughts and fancies, Hybla's bees
Dropping sweetness; true heart's-ease
Of congenial sympathies;--
Still for these I own my debt;
Memory, with her eyelids wet,
Fain would thank thee even yet!
And as one who scatters flowers
Where the Queen of May's sweet hours
Sits, o'ertwined with blossomed bowers,
In superfluous zeal bestowing
Gifts where gifts are overflowing,
So I pay the debt I'm owing.
To thy full thoughts, gay or sad,
Sunny-hued or sober clad,
Something of my own I add;
Well assured that thou wilt take
Even the offering which I make
Kindly for the giver's sake.

The Greatest Gift
When Christmas shopping is done,
wrapped gifts lie ‘neith a tree
sparkling bright with tinsel and light
for everyone to see.
Each gift has been selected
with thoughtfulness and care.
Toys and such will mean so much
like all the gifts we bear.
But let us keep within our heart
the much greater gift than these.
One from above, with God's great love
should bring us to our knees.
A gift of birth to all on Earth.
A gift that's far from small.
To everyone, He gave His Son…
The greatest gift of all.

After The Deathbed
Dead asleep, your journey begins,
Making fate so wretched and cruel
For taking you away so soon.
Searching for your love and fragrance
In this world filled with grief and hatred,
Never appeared to be so simple,
Making missing you ever so painful.
Making my heart croon an elegy,
Wishing to remove the grief I carry.
Oh if only you were right here beside me
Regret moans inside of me,
For all the things I hurt you by
I still progress with thoughts of you,
That just never seems to leave.
Hard to forget all the thoughts we share
Since my life has not reached its closing stages.
I’ll have to carry through this wicked life
Which is devoid of the love we shared.
Moreover, I accept what lifetime offers,
As your wooden box passes
Through the stairway of heaven
Making goodbye seem like the hardest words.

The sentence of love...
Many thoughts live inside my head,
Yet quite often they go unsaid.
So many thoughts that were not spoken,
Were they merely just a token? ...
Were the thoughts that meant the most,
The ones I never got round to post?
Have I missed the chance to save us all?
I think the chances must be small...
For if those thoughts meant so much,
We should find a way to stay in touch.
Thought understands feelings in a way,
That mere words could never convey...
And just because these words go unsaid,
Does not mean to life that they are dead.
For special words have meaning so true,
The words I'm thinking of are 'I love you...'
So although the words I don't often say,
May not be heard each and every day.
When the sentence of love my head does start,
You shall live forever in my heart...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

The Gift Was Given To Me
THE TGIFT WAS GIVEN TO ME
The Gift was given to me
and new worlds within
could be found and made
again and again-
If I wanted the Stars in my words
They would play their Light for me-
If I wanted Darkness
Heavens and Hells have their loss in long songs-
I knew I could write and write
many imaginary and many real things-
But what did it all mean?
I was only one more soul
in a universe where God
has given many many words
amd many many gifts
many clearly greater than mine-
What are all my searchings and singings
for Beauty and Love and Goodness
If God does not need them?
I was given a gift
and it may be I am mocked for my gift-
So I write these words too in fear, in gratitude, in irony.

Prayer
I ASK good things that I detest,
With speeches fair;
Heed not, I pray Thee, Lord, my breast,
But hear my prayer.
I say ill things I would not say -
Things unaware:
Regard my breast, Lord, in Thy day,
And not my prayer.
My heart is evil in Thy sight:
My good thoughts flee:
O Lord, I cannot wish aright -
Wish Thou for me.
O bend my words and acts to Thee,
However ill,
That I, whate'er I say or be,
May serve Thee still.
O let my thoughts abide in Thee
Lest I should fall:
Show me Thyself in all I see,
Thou Lord of all.

A Secret Untold
I’ve got a secret.
A secret untold.
A secret I have never told anyone.
Do you want to hear my secret?
I’ve got a sacred dream.
A dream vision for sacred life.
I believe in happiness.
I believe happiness is the greatest gift.
The greatest gift anyone can bestow upon another.
I want to give the gift of happiness.
I want to give the gift of happiness to the destitute.
I want to bestow happiness upon suffering souls.
Upon all suffering souls, unhappy, alone, unloved.
I want to heal the world.
I want to heal future generations unborn.
I want to heal with healing words of love.
The word is my gift.
The written word can open windows into the mind.
The written word can heal with gifts of infused love.
With truth, love, wisdom, life lessons revealed.
Words may attain the power to reveal life.
Words may reveal images attesting life lessons.
Words may reveal values advancing visions yet unattained.
Words may reveal realities exalting in love peace harmony.
Love peace harmony for all sacred humanity.
For all sacred life is a reality humanity must treasure attain.

How I Feel
I love you more than words can say
Our souls have found each other
In distant lands
We love unconditionally
Our love has reached the point of no return
With you I am complete
My love for you unbearable
Nothing can come between
In this world
I am nothing without your love
We belong together
My heart
In your hands
My life is yours
In your loving arms I belong
Soon you will come for me
In early morning, prayer
I saw you standing there
Light surrounding you
Occupied in thoughts of me
Our love pure and unique
May we be granted?
A life together
In each other's arms
To love, forever

From Nothing at All
I can give nothing at all to you, yet daily Lord you see me through,
Supplying all I need and more, while asking nothing from me Lord.
Although I come to you with none, abundance I receive of the Son,
Christ bestows, quite abundantly, gifts and blessings down on me.
For all good gifts are from above, in the Father’s unchanging love,
Bestowed, upon all who believe; Blessings that we simply receive.
With these gifts bestowed on us, you Lord, take us into your trust,
That we use those gifts we receive, in helping all others to believe.
I come to you, without anything; you make me a child of The King,
His child through all of eternity, and all through the gift of Calvary,
Your Only Son, Jesus Christ, offered to all freely as our Sacrifice,
One special gift offered by Grace, to the entire, sinful human race,
Blessings we receive from you Lord, will continue on forevermore,
As the gift you offered at Calvary, is a New Life in Christ Eternally,
That begins on this earthly sod, to continue on with you dear God,
For by Grace you saved my soul, to make a sinner eternally whole.
This empty soul, you have filled, with heavenly gifts, as you willed,
For your Purpose and your Plan, to reach out to every single man.
For with each gift we play a part, in reaching for you a needy heart,
With the One Gift of Salvation, offered by The God of all Creation.

The Bell Tolls
The bell tolls not to alarm us
about a break of war
The bell tolls not to announce
the funeral of a great magician
The bell tolls not for classes
to start the school-year calendar.
But it is ringing for you and me
to bend our knees,
To intercede for our land
and for ourselves
The bell tolls to say a prayer
that opens up
avenues to God's love and mercy.

Sonnet 81: Oh Kiss, Which Dost
Oh kiss, which dost those ruddy gems impart,
Or gems, or fruits of new-found Paradise,
Breathing all bliss and sweet'ning to the heart,
Teaching dumb lips a nobler exercise;
Oh kiss, which souls, even souls, together ties
By links of Love, and only Nature's art:
How fain would I paint thee to all men's eyes,
Or of thy gifts at least shade out some part;
But she forbids, with blushing words, she says
She builds her fame on higher-seated praise;
But my heart burns, I cannot silent be.
Then since (dear life) you fain would have me peace,
And I, mad with delight, want wit to cease,
Stop you my mouth with still, still kissing me.
