First Day Of Spring
I know today's the first of spring.
I wonder what the spring will bring?
I know it will bring blooming trees
and pollen that will make some sneeze.
I know it will bring lots of flowers
to stir our senses and feelings for hours.
I know it will make the earth come alive
and bees and wasps building a hive.
I know it will start the ritual of love
and an increase of cloudless skies above.
I know it will bring springtime rain
that will end with rainbows that can't remain.
I know it will make me happy to see
the warmer days and tranquil sea.
What I don't know is what I will do
if springtime wishes don't come true?

Avril, La Douce Esperance
Come, spring, and bring the flowers again,
And plant the primrose by the brook:
Let love not languish at a look;
For she may grow more gentle then,
When springtime brings the flowers again.
Come, April, spreading kinder skies,
And make the leaves with sunshine laugh:
Perchance my love will learn to have
A softer tremor in her eyes,
When April comes with kinder skies.
Come, June, bring splendour of the rose;
Come, bring delight of tint and scent:
My darling will perhaps relent
And love me then, as once, - who knows?
When June brings splendour of the rose.

Blue Skies Bring Tears
Unleash the armageddon
So all the children go to heaven
I sit by quiet still
With their pictures on my eyes
You'll draw the guns your given
Write down the words as written
And never disturb the presense
Of resurrection touch
And it's about time
It's about drawing near
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Descend the darkened stairway
Make hate with plastic playmates
And fire out remaining traces
Of your self esteem
Mainline the deepest secrets
Lick clean the dirty fingers
I am a stranger to you
As you are to yourself
And it's about time
It's about fear
Blue skies bring tears
Don't you want me (don't want you)
Cause I await cityside
We'll watch the seas start to die
Blue skies bring tears
Take me inside your body
Blue skies bring tears
Cover me with your soul
Blue skies bring tears
To the darkest reasons
Blue skies bring tears
Is where I wish to go
Blue skies bring tears
You are the sweetest flower
Blue skies bring tears
That I have ever devoured
Blue skies bring tears
I ask for nothing given
Blue skies bring tears
For nothing in return
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears
Blue skies bring tears

March...A Springtime Tease
Just a touch of Springtime
Only a spritzle or a pat
That's all of Spring
That March will bring
You can bet your butt
On that!
April will be more fruitful
With showers, flowers and such
But March is just a springtime tease
Promising way too much
March is like a Model T
As a month it should be retired
It's only got enough Spring, you see
To make your butt feel tired.

Little More Love
(John Farrar)
Night is draggin' her feet
I wait alone in the heat
I know , know that you'll have your way
Till you have to go home
"No's" a word I can't say
'Cos it gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
Where, where did my innocence go
How, how was a young girl to know
I'm trapped, trapped in the spell of your eyes
In the warmth of your arms
In the web of your lies
But it gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
It gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right
Gets me nowhere to tell you "no"
It gets me nowhere to make you go
Will a little more love make you start depending
Will a little more love bring a happy ending
Will a little more love make it right
Will a little more love make it right

A Spring Message
May the Spring Season fill your heart
With love and joy today
To bring you peace and comfort
In every beautiful way.
May the thoughts of Spring
Glow warmly in your heart
Where memories of the past
Ever play an important part.
May a Spring day be extra special
With the beauty of blossoms of snow,
May the sunshine make them attractive
And bring a festive glow.
May the warmth of the Spring air,
The songbirds and colorful flowers
Fill the day with cheerfulness
And many happy and rewarding hours.
May those you love surround you
To share your glorious day,
May the memories of the Spring Season,
Linger in your life to forever stay.

Villanelle: The Joys of Spring
The Sun wakes the earth, and the birds sing
songs of joy and beauty that strike me with suspense and awe:
Spring fills me with delight about what it will bring.
They rise up in the air, they are the king
of the skies, higher and higher they soar.
O! The joys of Spring.
But when the rain falls, it doesn't matter, for the things
in Spring that are here give me warmth; I don't care that rain will pour:
Spring fills me with delight about what it will bring.
And now I see you, like a new-born lamb; I'm gaping
at your beauty, your whole being, and so much more.
O! The joys of Spring!
Spring, as harbinger of life and hoping,
entices all with possibilities, vivacity, and so much more.
Spring fills me with delight about what it will bring.
So now I offer you my ring,
spend our life like an eternal Spring; I will always keep you in my heart's store:
Spring fills me with delight about what it will bring:
O! The joys of Spring!

The Days of Spring Are Near
The days of spring are near
With the flowing water around
In every heart of youth to steer
That still with the winter's bound
So lovely as each loneliness
And black as rocks in the hills
These condense come with caress
As water splashes and spills
The youth of new springtime's here
Is in every life and brawl
Where the falls shall touch and bear
In its freshness of its early call
And bring mystics wind to blow
While the leaves are becoming green
Away is then all winter's snow
With the life's sullenness between
The days of spring thoughts steer
Into the young days fairly bright
And become here free everywhere
With returning of our summer light
To lift the hearts to higher grounds
And there bring us peace of mind
Fill up the air with springtime sounds
Leaving the dusky diffuses behind
(*never since the middle summer's spring, met we— Shakespeare [I could also use 'freedom' instead of 'spring'])

A Missing Spring
I know that the spring will be here soon
and the flowers will start to bloom.
What I do not know is when it comes
will it take me out of this gloom?
I live with the days that still are cold
and rub my hands together.
I'm tired of waiting for warm spring days
and worrying about the weather.
But what if spring does come this year
and I don't see your face?
Then springtime might as well stay away
for it can never replace
the absence of you and how I feel
and all the flowers will only steal
the warmth of my springtime day.
So the winter might as well stay.

What Can You Bring Me
(j gadson)
When your lovin is gone
And you cant carry on
What can you bring me
When there aint nobody else
And you cant help yourself
What can you bring me
What can you bring me
Can you bring me that happy day
Let me know that everything is ok
Bring it strong and bring it fast
Bring it till the pain is in the past
What can you bring me, thatll unchain me
What can you bring me
What can you bring me baby
What can you bring me
Like a amn whose on that road, drivin hard towards his goal
Like Im on my last go round
My love lifes lost and cant be found
What can you bring me
What can you bring me
Hurry baby, dont waste time
I need somebody, help me solve this crime
Bring it strong and bring it fast
Bring it till the pain is in the past
What can you bring me, thatll unchain me
What can you bring me
What can you bring me
What can you bring me
What can you bring me
What can you bring me
Help my equilibrium baby
What can you bring me
What can you bring me

And What Will Be Then?
What will be tomorrow?
Tomorrow will be April.
Hearts will be struck by the love arrow,
They will not be stable.
So, what to do now?
Is it just natures caprice?
Allow your feelings be somehow avowed.
Don’t let your feelings to crease.
Look for the truth in the gentleness of spring!
Ding, ding! Listen to the bells ring!
Forget the troubles and sing!
A new song the spring will bring.
And what will be then?
Then will come summer.
Amen! We are all earthmen.
It will certainly become warmer.
The sun will shine brighter,
But a bit different as in spring.
It will calm some writers,
It will warm the kings.
And what will happen then?
An autumn will come and rain.
If you tell me “I love you! ”
Our spring time will remain.
And when the winter comes
It will warm me and you with snow.
It will bring more charms,
The real feelings it will show.
And what will happen with the world?
Everything will be certainly fine.
I am sure, it will not be twirled,
The whole world will be yours and mine.

Happy Spring
Happy spring don't mean a thing
If nobody is listening
We all got to give its cling
A worthy again visiting
Singing from bough to bough
Playful birds are there
Bring together their vow
Little hearts pounding everywhere
Happy spring comes every spring
Memories soft glistening
Flowers and tints they bring
Under from earth's snowy wing
Its times come soon now
With their hope to share
New summer fun and now-how
Arriving again through the air
Refrain
Happy spring happy spring
Not too far in distances away
Happy spring what shall you bring
When you light up my May Day
In my heart I always knew
Tide of fresh fragrance would appear
With bluish sky and easy view
I'll be glad to have you here (repeat last line)
Happy spring don't mean a thing
If nobody is listening
We all got to give its cling
A worthy again visiting
Singing from bough to bough
Playful birds are there
Bring together their vow
Little hearts pounding everywhere

The Gift You Are
This song appears on four albums, and was first released on the flower that shattered the stone album, and has also been released on the stonehaven sunrise, the gift you are and the john denver
Ction - annies song albums.
Imagine a month of sundays
Each one a cloudy day
Imagine the moment the sun came shining through
Imagine that ray of sunshine as you
Remember your darkest hour
With dawn still far away
Remember the way that you longed for mornings light
And think of yourself as a candle in the night
Make believe this is the first day
Everything all brand new
Make believe that the sun is your own lucky star
And then understand the kind of gift you are
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of spring
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true
The gift you are
The gift of you
You are the promise of all the ages
You are the prodigal son
You are the vision of prophets and sages
You are the only one
Dream of a bright tomorrow
Know that your dream will come true
Carry your dream in a sparkling crystal jar
Then you will know the kind of gift you are
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of spring
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true
The gift you are
The gift of you
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of springtime
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true - yes they do
The gift you are
The gift of you
The gift you are
The gift of you

Spring
There`s nothing like the flowers of spring
Feeling the breeze of a summer wind
Thinking of all the places that i`ve been
To not appreciate would be a sin
So love and cherish the season winds
When i walk through the park
Knowing it`s the place to start
I sit on the swing
And listen as the birds all sing
Wishing I too had wings
And the freedom that they bring
To make me feel as if i`m king
With the power from a magical ring
I would declare all year as spring
And enjoy all the love that it would bring

Bring It On Home To Mama
She knows all about me
She knows all my felonies
She got the moves to-a-make me tremble
She's got me on my knees
She's got life-time guarantees
'Ain't got no time for my innuendos
I don't mind if you make a dime baby
Bring it on home to mama
Bump 'n' grind in your own time baby
Bring it on home to mama
She say I'm to blame
She say men are all the same
She got the signed, sealed, testimony
She knows a woman's place
She knows where to rest her case
She got her mind on alimony
I don't mind if you make a dime baby
Bring it on home to mama
Bump 'n' grind in your own time baby
Bring it on home to mama
Hey, baby, bring it on home to mama
Hey, hay-makin' baby, bring it on home to mama
She wears a heart of gold
Says her needs are many fold
I got no reason or need to doubt it
She knows she leads the dance
She knows how t'wear those pants
She got the full metal matching outfit
I don't mind if you make a dime baby
Bring it on home to mama
Bump 'n' grind in your own time baby
Bring it on home to mama
I don't mind if you make a dime baby
Bring it on home to mama
Bump 'n' grind in your own time baby
Bring it on home to mama
You can go blind, gimme what's mine
If y'wanna keep this love alive, (keep this love alive)
Bring it on home to mama
Don't talk back, just get another kick-back
This ain't no jive, (this ain't no jive!)
Bring it on home to mama
Bring it on home, bring it on home
Bring it on home, bring it on home
Bring it on home, bring it on home to mama
Bring it on home!

Springtime Love # 2
Cold winds of winter
have blown far away-
Springtime is now time
and love is today.
Springtime is our time
when mating birds sing-
Our time is love time
and love time is spring
Springtime-
Once in a lifetime
spring comes,
blossoms and then
springtime
moves on forever.
No second spring again.
Kisses and blossoms
and sweet birds of May,
they're to remember
when spring slips away.

(something new something something new

(Verse3)
Hey santa
can i sing this song to you
(sing to You sing to you)
hey santa
can you make my wish come true
(make it true make it make it true)

boxes of red and green
underneath the christmas tree

Bring It On
If I was unordinately different to what you say
Id lie, oh Id lie
If you could release me now
You know that I wont hesitate
To lie, I would lie
Bring it on, make it right
Bring it on into the light
Pick me up satellite
If its wrong, make it right
Indecipherable gibberish - kind of guitar
If I lied and told you they were difficult or hard to take
Id lie, Id still lie
If you try to please me now
You know that I wont remonstrate
But lie I would lie
Bring it on, make it right
Bring it on, into the light
Pick me up, satellite
If its wrong, make it right
We like quiet nights on the island
? ? read by patterned stars round our head
We can reach new heights in this island
Were dragged slowly to our ? feet?
Bring it on, make it right
Bring it out, into the light
Pick me up, satellite
If its wrong, make it right
Bring it on, make it right
Bring it out, into the light
Pick me up, satellite
If its wrong, make it right
If I was inordinately different
