Ups and downs, highs and lows,
that is how my demeanor goes.

you see yourself sitting on top
so self assured - happy,
but when your parents bail you out
you somehow feel not free.
you're bored to tears in school,
it's not like what you thought at all.
trouble is not the answer.
i know what you want to know:
slow down;
why you wanna move so fast?

hoping his evil game will win.
in order not to loose,

She Ran so Fast

There was once a girl who wanted to run fast
She was the fastest in her home, the fastest in her class
She ran so fast she would break all the rules
Not to mention, all the records in all of her schools

All people called her, ‘Fastest in the world’
But that wasn’t nearly fast enough for this girl
She ran so fast gravity couldn’t carry her
And then one day, she ran past the sound barrier

One time,2 times,3 times, and 4
She mocked space shuttles in her quest to run more
Her feet never sored, her soul never tired
She ran so fast, she was lean as a wire
As she grew older, so did her legend
Her ambition grew bolder and made her feel destined

To become the fastest that ever existed
She was faster than stars shooting at night
But still she kept running, still she persisted
Till she outran her shadow and ran out her life

Some say that she ran faster than thought
And she could catch the waves of a laugh
Others say her physique was always so taut
She took the pictures and then outran the flash
“Life moved too slow, ” was her last known opinion
Before she ran herself into oblivion

Don't Expect An Apology

I have not been a child for so long.
So if my offensive demeanor,
Comes from an adult mind...
Free to express itself from a hiding,
You have yet dealt with.
Don't be stunned.
Or run away in tears!
With a nose you sniff.

Perhaps you should leave the playground,
Of scraped knees, sandboxes
And petty childish gossip.
I have not been a child for so long.
My adventures have been aged on paths...
That have shown me a life,
To live as it is!

And to find myself alone,
Being accountable for my steps!
Sometimes I have experienced regret.
But like all things I have accepted...
I am blessed not to stay in one spot,
To complain of rain that got me wet!
Nor do I get upset...
If thunder, lightening and clouds,
Are temporarily above my head!

I have felt sunshine too many times...
To find a moment of whining as a means,
That have ever attracted my happiness!
A maturity with learning,
Has come to me it seems!

So if my offensive demeanor,

Don't expect an apology.
I only give those when they are meant!
And I feel that one should be given.
And 'that' no one else gives to me,

Sonnet: Life is full of Surprises

Some things in life remain an utter flop!
My plans to make my life secure did fail;
I thought I’ll run but I could only hop!
My mind and body couldn’t stay hearty, hale.

The things I thought were precious-most were not;
Some ignored things were worth their weight in gold;
The mountain fizzled out and turned a dot;
The innocence of youth was gone when old.

The things that God bestowed on me were great;
Although delayed, they stood stead-fast with time;
I learnt that I could always change my fate;
Sometimes, a dollar got dwarfed by a dime!

Life’s problems pernicious get solved so fast;
The ways of God are strange but truly last.

To Rest My Soul

With the passing of every day
Sure I see the parting of lovely way
Lot of change in the official life
Not less change in the actual life
Memory leaves to be kept in file
And to keep the life in distinct style!
End of sixty approaching fast
Work to be done is surely vast!
No more talks, no more notes
No more calls, no more quotes
No more meets, no more pains

'No more file' is not 'no more life'
Brighter days to see better life!
