A Bitter Word
I taste bitterness in my mouth
each time I hear the word war.
It's a taste that's born of compassion
from a word that's been heard before.
Too young they die
not knowing why.
Too young they leave
and as we grieve
I hear that word again.
I spit from the bitter taste of it
and it still won't go away.
It's the same old word that drives me mad
and reminds me every day
that man is pliable in the hands
of ones whose insatiable need
never tastes bitterness in their mouth
from the word or from the deed.

The Word
Find the word, understand the word,
Depend on the word;
The word is heaven and space, the word the earth,
The word the universe.
The word is in our ears, the word is on our tongues,
The word the idol.
The word is the holy book, the word is harmony,
The word is music.
The word is magic, the word the Guru.
The word is the body, the word is the spirit, the word is being,
The word Not-being.
The word is man, the word is woman,
The Worshipped Great.
The word is the seen and unseen, the word is the existent
And the non-existent.
Know the word, says Kabir,
The word is All-powerful.
The Word I Say
A word is dead
until it's said.
And so I say
my word to you.
And what word is it
I say to you?
I have never had
to think it through.
For it has always been
the word I've said
and will say repeatedly
until I'm dead.
The word I say
is what I feel.
The word you hear
has sweet appeal.
So I give to you
the word I've heard
that always and ever
repeats in my being
like the song of a bird
that sings to its mate
and can't hold back
before it's too late
to hear.
That word is love,
my dear.

Cycle of Word
When one word drown, one word will raise
When one word vanished, one word will exist
When one word gone, one word will come
When one word finished, one word will show
When one word flies, nothing can take it back
When you talk, I wait like exiting child
The next word my ears will hear
But you keep silent, wandering in your own dream

Every Word I Say
You feel like liberation
You give me new sensation
You show me what I need and
You are my life completed
Can't stop, cant break, who's driving?
Sometimes there's no denying
Till today I feel I can't lose
I'm letting go of what I knew
I want you for always
I hear your name in every word I say
I'm a fool and I don't care
I hear your name in every word I say
Every word I say
Every word I say
Before you I was only
What I let control me
You are a revolution
Against my own conclusions
So today I feel I can't lose
But I'm letting go of what I knew
Said, I want you for always
I hear your name in every word I say
I'm a fool and I don't care
I hear your name in every word I say
Oh no no no no no no no
Oh no no no no no no no
Oh no no no no no no no
Oh no no no no no
And now I say goodbye to the way I used to be
There is no room for question
'Cause your name, it sets me free
Yesterday's troubles harm me
T-Today's are creeping in
So let go of the world around me
'Cause your love is all I need
I want you for always
I hear your name in every word I say
I'm a fool and that's okay
I hear your name in every word I say
I want you for always
I hear your name in every word I say
I'm a fool and I don't care
I hear your name in every word I say
Every word I say
Every word I say
In every word I say
Oh no no no no no no no
Oh no no no no no
Oh no no no no no no no no no no
Yeah!
I hear your name in every word I say
I hear your name in every word I say
I hear your name in every word I say
I hear your name well all I hear is your name
All I hear is your name
All I hear is your name
And no one can take it away

Word Of Mouth
Ive been trying to get a message to you,
But the operator cant put me through,
Because the vandals went and wrecked all the telephones.
And all my enemies are spreading bad news,
You wont call me, thats why Im calling you,
To put you straight about the rumors theyre spreading about me back home.
I should have known, sooner or later,
Youd get the news, sooner or later,
The word of mouth will get right back to you.
Somehow we lost communication,
My only chance in my situation,
Is that the word of mouth gets my message through.
The word of mouth,
The word of mouth,
But who are they to say the things they do?
The word of mouth says that Ive gone insane,
That wine and women have affected my brain.
Well whos the big mouth spreading the news again?
The word of mouth says Im round the bend,
Its all over, this is the end.
Exaggeration sure gets the better of people who send[? ].
The word of mouth,
The word of mouth,
But who are they to say the things they do?
The word of mouth said I should be put in my place.
The word is out Im in disgrace -- a waste of space.
But if they say it, say it to my face.
People talking, trying to dig up the dirt,
There are so many lies around.
They spread their gossip and the rumors around this town.
Word of mouth, face to face,
My word of mouth has stated my case,
And Im saying Im coming back home to you.
You should have know sooner or later,
Youd get the news sooner or later,
The word of mouth will get right back to you.
The word of mouth,
Shut your mouth,
Shut your face!

Word Up
Oh
Yo pretty ladies around the world
Got a weird thing to show you
So tell all the boys and girls
Tell your brother, your sister and your mamma too
We're about to go down
And you know just what to do
Wave your hands in the air like you don't care
Gilde by the people as they start to look and stare
Do your dance, do your dance, do your dance quick mamma
Come on baby tell me what's the word
Word up (up up) everybody say
When you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up (up up) it's the code word
No matter where you say it you know that you'll be heard
Now all you sucker DJ's who think you're fly
There's got to be a reason and we know the reason why
You try to put on those airs and act real cool
But you got to realise that you're acting like fools
If there's music we can use it
Be free to dance
We don't have the time for psychological romance
No romance, no romance, no romance for me mamma
Come on baby tell me what's the word
Word up (up up) everybody say
When you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up (up up) it's the code word
No matter where you say it you know that you'll be heard
Word up (up up) everybody say
When you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up (up up) it's the code word
No matter where you say it you know that you'll be heard
Word up (up up) everybody say
When you hear the call you've got to get it underway
Word up (up up) it's the code word
No matter where you say it you know that you'll be heard

Favourite Word
The magazine is running a competition
it wants to know our favourite word
they say they want to know why
it's the best word you've ever heard?
So it got me thinking really hard
what word fills me with delight?
could it be a word linked to Halloween
like terror, spooky, demonic, or fright?
But I like a word that just sounds funny
something like snuffle, truffle, or ruffle,
but I love a word I heard when I was young
and it still makes me smile and it is Kerfuffle
My mother said the neighbour's are at it again
sounds like there having a row or a scuffle,
and my dad would just laugh and say to us.
'take no notice it's only a bit of a Kerfuffle.'
So that's my favourite word I reckon
maybe because I first heard it when I was young?
so I'm going to say it more often to people
as Kerfuffle just slips of the tongue!

In the Beginning
In the beginning was the Word…
what’s a beginning, then?
a beginning, perhaps, not in time;
a beginning, perhaps, with time itself;
in our time, the recognition’s all;
beginning known within our being;
being that is beyond beginning;
and so, always being; always beginning..
so, in the beginning – is - the Word..
the Word, a sound? yet heard before the ear;
a speaking and a listening,
waiting to be heard…
the Word, finding for itself a time;
finding for itself a place;
a wakening; a becoming;
for this, we know:
a beginning; a becoming;
the word becomes, as things become;
every word is a becoming;
that, the yogis hear;
that, poets listen for;
that spurs all philosophers;
every becoming is the Word;
every word is a becoming.

Time & A Word
(anderson/foster)
In the morning when you rise,
Do you open up your eyes, see what I see?
Do you see the same things evry day?
Do you think of a way to start the day
Getting things in proportion?
Spread the news and help the world go round.
Have you heard of a time that will help us get it together again?
Have you heard of the word that will stop us going wrong?
Well, the time is near and the word youll hear
When you get things in perspective.
Spread the news and help the word go round.
Theres a time and the time is now and its right for me,
Its right for me, and the time is now.
Theres a word and the word is love and its right for me,
Its right for me, and the word is love.
Have you heard of a time that will help get it together again?
Have you heard of the word that will stop us going wrong?
Well, the time is near and the word youll hear
When you get things in perspective.
Spread the news and help the word go round.
Theres a time and the time is now and its right for me,
Its right for me, and the time is now.
Theres a word and the word is love and its right for me,
Its right for me, and the word is love.

This word...
This word is life,
this word is love,
this word is peace and this word makes you live it needs no complications.
So this is a word.
A word thats happines that word that lifts you up
its a word thats against all bad its a word that needs no piracy.
Its forgiving after you corrupted the word
this word is easy to call easy to spell easy to use easy to write even a dumbest pesom will spell it. Its useful
its artistic and intelligent

make use of it
for it never turns its back on its word...

The Word
Say the word and you'll be free
Say the word and be like me
Say the word i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
In the beginning i misunderstood
But now i've got it, the word is good
Spread the word and you'll be free
Spread the word and be like be
Spread the work i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
Every where i go i hear it said
In the good and bad books that i have read
Give the word a chance to say
That the word is just the way
It's the word i'm thinking of
And the only word is love
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
Now that i know what i feel must be right
I'm here to show everybody the light
Say the word and you'll be free
Say the word and be like me
Say the word i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love

Have A Nice Day
I heard it from the gangster
I heard it from the priest
I heard it from my best friend
Way down in the middle east
Have a nice day- That's all I hear every day
Have a nice day- I don't believe a word you say
I heard from the landlord
When he kicked me out
I heard it from the spirits
As they possessed my house
Have a nice day- That's all I hear every day
Have a nice day- I don't believe a word you say
When they look me in the eye I turn the other way
It's just a trained reaction something they gotta say... yeah
I heard it in New Zealand
I heard it at the club
I heard it from my doctor
Before he pulled the plug
Have a nice day- That's all I hear every day
Have a nice day- I don't believe a word you say
Have a nice day- That's all I hear every day
Have a nice day- I don't believe a word you say

Word life
Word word life life
word life life word.
Life has its own word
Word has its own life.
word life life word
Life life word word.
Are you ready to catch
The word in your life?
Has your word the strength
And power the bear the life?
Through the word
Is your life become happy?
Word word life life
Coining of words through life
Is the successful art
That is to cultvate.
You are here
I am here
Words are around us
Go and trace
Go go and crash.

Word Made Flesh
Suck my breast, I'm the word made flesh
Ain't no rest for the word made flesh
My lips are moving but I hear no sound
It's that same old noise, it's in sensurround
Tune yourself up and count yourself down
Word made flesh, word made flesh
Lord help me rise to this occasion
Word made, word made flesh
I've been toiling so hard in the vineyard
Pay your debts to the word made flesh
East meets west in the word made flesh
I see you talking, but I still can't hear
Like a box of glass blocking off my ears
Turn off the charm and prey on your fears
Brainless pests for the word made flesh
Wall Street desks curse the word made flesh

The Word
Well you flash your tongue like diamonds
You tied me to your wildcat schemes
And you forced me into a power dive
And left your mark on my jeans
And I hear the word on your soldiers
And I hear the word on jesus too
I heard the word on the country
But I never heard the word on you
Your love was like a machine gun
I wore your bugle in my belt
And I was your kid glove lover
All the cards were yours
You always dealt
And I stood before your soapbox
Noiseless and shoeless
Playing my pantry boys games
You had your hands raised up to the sky
Shouting oh sunday deity
Oh big daddy longlegs
Come down and bless your sister please
You were shoutin orders about the construction
Going on down the highway
You were namin names, blamin blames
And you blamed me
You wore your heart like a challenge
Far and apart for anyone who came
Open and wide like the river
With rocks on both sides to keep the water tame
But I heard the word on your high tides
And I felt the pain when I tried
To rip your flood gates wide
And pull your body on over to my side
Where we both could hide
But you heard about the freedom ride
And you heard about the highway crew
Who could cut the light a little bit faster than you
So you left me just your shoes
And I hear the word on jesus
And I hear the word on his marching troop
And I hear the word on the country
But I never heard the word on you

Say The Word
Ooo say the word
And Ill be yours
Say the word
So Ill be sure
That what Im feeling goes for both of us
I hate to hear you tell me what you feel is really love
Say the word
Open up
Say the word
Whats the hold up
Before I go and give my heart away
I need to know Im falling for a man who aint afraid to
Chorus:
Say the word
Its just four little letters
And if you really mean it
Youve got me forever
And Ive got so much love for you
That all you gotta do
Is say the word
And Ill be there
Anytime, anywhere
Repeat chorus
And Ill be yours
So Ill be sure
Say the word
And Ill be there
Anytime, anywhere

Tell a word
Word word and word
without word
you are cowherd.
Tell a word
where include
entire world
where include
all creature
and water air
sky and earth
and also include light.
Tell a word
that is bright.
word word and word
through your word
I can know you
friend not foe.
Tell a word
and in that word
I conquered
entire world.
