My lady love lives far away,
And oh my heart is sad by day,
And ah my tears fall fast by night,
What may I do in such a plight.
Why, miles grow few when love is fleet,
And love, you know, hath flying feet;
Break off thy sighs and witness this,
How poor a thing mere distance is.

Until Then My Love (Free Verse)
I hope that we meet
In a not so distant life
Where you and I
Are husband and wife
One where we meet
In our youth
Where we grow up together
In which we are couth
We may only hope
We may even pray
That sooner or later
Will come that day
Until then my love
I just want you to know
I can only wish
That you were my beau
P.s. I tried to write this poem from a woman's view. I tried to place
myself in a woman's shoes. There are times that I try to do this in some
of my poetry. I am not sure if I do a good job or not, but I do like to try it
every now and then. If you want to look at this poem through the eyes
of a hopeless romantic guy, you can change the last word beau to bow.

She Believes In Me
i'm tossing and turning and i can't get to sleep
got something on my mind - i just can't release
then she whispers so softly - that she believes in me
if i let her down - and tried to disguise it
she always see through it always replies that
no matter what i do - she believes in me
all the times i failed - gone slighty off the rails
she's there to remind me - she believes in me
when it all goes wrong and i feel i'm own
she's there to remind me - she believes in me
don't get me wrong - i not some kind of fool
i give her my world if she asked me to
cuz here's no denying - she believes in me
but i'm only human - i'm just a guy
that sometimes makes mistakes and i can't explain why

I'm so glad that I found you my love
You must have been sent to me from above
You have taught me to never hate
Our lives entwined, it must be fate.

Regret always comes too late
O, regret
Always comes to late
Always catches in your weakest state
But you know not to let it reign

Now you let it escape from your hand

I Pulled Out My Shovel (Quatrain)
I Pulled Out My Shovel (Quatrain)
I pulled out my shovel
And dug a little hole
I dug even deeper
Trying to kill a mole
The digging was easy
The hole grew more and more
Then I thought to myself
I should have used my bore
I dug into the den
But the mole wasn't there
It was almost as if
It vanished in mid air
Then I saw a tunnel
It veered off to the right
So I thought to myself
I'd dig into the night
So I kept on digging
Until it petered out
Then I grew quite angry
So I had to shout
I never found that mole
But I did dig a hole
And filled it with a pole
