There was an Old Man of Madras,
Who rode on a cream-coloured ass;
But the length of its ears,
So promoted his fears,
That it killed that Old Man of Madras.

Madras
Give me the madras and let me feel so high!
And like a sailor's survival with the autumn wind;
But like a gold in the morning sun,
I will be with you today and forever.
Hand on to the ropes and let the event of things pass you by,
For at dawn i will be fed with the madras;
And to give a legion like the autumn wind.
The tower of my strength is in this madras!
With the life of the nature of things to see thorugh your love;
And like a gold in the morning sun.

Sometimes a director is making three films. Perhaps he is shooting a film in Madras and a film in Bombay and he can't leave Madras as some shooting has to be done, so he directs by telephone. The shooting takes place. On schedule.

I love those curries

But the morning after
Pleasure's passed.

Madras
The ambience of the oceanic swells
The azure of the sky drowned therein
The sandy shore with ozonic breeze
The uncluttered stretch up the last eyeline
Eaten the sun-feast beatan by night gleam
Starry twinkling winking at statues' conspiracy
Over the panorama the illuminated beam
The light-house sea-marking with accuracy
There, her majesty queen Mary
With her radio recreations
Literates of Presidency and University
Smiling Mahathma musically on fridays
Spinning around many a pantheon
Of heritage and history
Names of many a medallion
In library of a century
Deities of age old temples
Festively resonating in academies
Music, dance and drama in ripples
Yearlong by dignitaries
Theosophy under an aeoned banyan tree
clasically singing and dancing
Pinking palace of an art-gallery
Bubbling with handicraft and painting
Many more left here though
True you delighted me
That did I once bow
In proposal to Ye
Madras o' madras!
Did love you darling
But long back once
Now you are rotting
Corrupted with terrific traffic
Overflowingly endangering
Need a vehicle to pick
Passengers even to other side crossing
You've grown scraping the sky
Atop no dredging even a pail of water
So high a basin a bay
Threatening when a tsunami does enter...
Why Madras, why?
So many whys are there
Don't throw back a why
When said 'no more proposals dear'

Matter minus force
But for she, there is no stimulus;
But for she, there is no intoxication;
But for she, can there be passion?
Without she, he is matter sans drive.

The fast rusting
Hotter than fire she beams when away;
Warmer than water she runs when by;
Both ways she hassles me. Any way
I am hit to rust, that I would enjoy.

Innocence is a bliss
I wish I withheld my ignorance.
Then I would have retained my innocence,
That admitted less suspicion,
And less tension but more peace.
A stress less life is the bliss

Most of the top actors and actresses may be working in ten or twelve films at the same time, so they will give one director two hours and maybe shoot in Bombay in the morning and Madras in the evening. It happens.

Modesty is the pull
Hotter than fire, cooler than water,
Warmer than earth and gentler than air,
She pervades my senses in splendour
Because I alone stripped her modesty.

Be inner rich
O flowers! You can have colourful petals.
More than that must there be enough nectar.
Moths come to you expecting in you nectar.
Otherwise they stay with you no longer.
Women! Enrich your heart.

Gold for the old
Tender flesh and tight grip
Of a teenage girl
Had really made the old one
Grow a virulent lad
In vigour and spirit
And reminded the taste
That he had decades back.
A rare gold for the old.

Eyes meant to x ray
A knife cannot stop cutting the cake
On which it falls down.
Man’s eyes cannot stop X-raying women
On which they fall down.
A phenomenon, any woman likes
But another man abhors.

The tenderness has a place
Grapes aren’t defiant as cacti.
Sparrows aren’t as wild as eagles.
So are rabbits, not clever like foxes.
Weaklings, too, have a place to live in.

Rib bones thrust forward,
Pelvic bones flung backward,
Haunches wide, paunch flat,
A woman cuts a lasting shape.

The comeliest thing is the woman.
The prettiest part is her hair,
A woman in shaven head, Imagine!
A woman in clouded hairs, Visualize!

Death preceding death
You lost your gametes;
It is the end of your bio death.
You went impotent;
Your sex life comes to an end.
Your lust itself is lost;
Your psycho death has come.
Then you remain a corpse

The nearest are most hated
Eagles and owls,
Monkeys, pigs and donkeys,
All untouchable to us, live
In their places unthreatened.
You are not to decimate them.
Why do you want to decimate
Your own race held by you
As the untouchable or unacceptable?
