Painted with stones and planted in love,
From the loins of Yaaqob to serve a purpose;
But like Shiphrah and Puah who are visiting Zikpi.
In the Medieval and Byzantine times,
Of a spectrum of vivid shades and speckles on this love;
But Zikpi is still there in the room with the visiters.
Life is like the son of joy and the daughter of peace,

Remember when pocket change was all we had
And all those calls from the corner phonebooth
Collect to Mom and Dad
And that old worn out couch we called our bed
When our cuisine was pork and beans
Baloney and day old bread
Remember that damn old car that kept breaking down
And all the times it left me stranded
Thumbing all over town
And that old weekly paycheck
Just never stretched enough
