Work With Your Own Hands
Walk honestly before those who are outside that,
You may lack nothing!
And make it your ambition to lead a quiet life,
And work with your hands to mind your own business.

Merienda
I'd like to tell you about a friend
Who goes about selling snacks
She walks alone from Monday to weekend
From the subdivision gate and back.
This friend is a hardworking Mother
On whom a lazy husband depends on
We're of the same age but she is quite stronger
Has a tray on her head and a bag she drags on.
She comes in the afternoon just around three
And I called her the nickame 'Merienda'
It's the Spanish word for snacks specially
Covers the sweets, rice cakes, and the pasta.
Merienda has all of my utmost respect
For she does an honest way of earning
She works in the only way she can expect
To live life with dignity, instead of begging.
If people in the world like her are multiplied
I am sure none will be treading Poverty's line
One can work simply and be thus satisfied
There's no time to blame, complain, or whine.
------
'Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life,
to mind your own business and to work with your hands
so that you will not be dependent on anybody
and you will win the respect of those who do not believe.'

Honestly
I believe
I believe
I believe
I believe the love you talk about with me
Is it true, do I care
Honestly, you can try to wipe the memories aside
But its you that you erase
cause theres no place that I could be without you
Its too far to discard the life I once knew
Honestly, all the weather storms are bringing
Are just a picture of my dreams
cause when I think of you as mine
And allow myself with time
To lead into the life we want
I feel loved, honestly
I feel loved, this honestly
I believe you mean the best that life can bring
I believe in it all
Honestly, you can try
Your heart is just as long as mine
Is it ours to let go
cause theres not place that I could be without you
Its too dark to discard the life I once knew
Honestly, a single wrong is not enough
To cover up the pain in us
cause when I think of you as mine
And allow myself with time
To lead into the life we want
I feel loved, honestly
Ill make a joke so you must laugh
Ill break your heart so you must ask
Is this the way to get us back
I dont know, honestly
I dont know, this honestly
Theres no place that I could be without you
Honestly
Theres no place that I could be without you
Theres no place that I could gleam without you
Theres no place that I could dream without you
Theres no place that I could be without you
Honestly

Times And Seasons
Work with your hands to gain the morrow,
Like the times and the seasons;
Lead a quiet life to mind your own business,
Like the hopes and the dreams in our missions.
See that no one pays evil for evil,
And pursue that which is righteous always;
Highly in love,
In all my distress and affliction;
Praying night and day like,
The pains of a woman with child.
Can the fig tree bear Olive berries?
can a grapevine bear figs?
Who is wise and understanding among you?
Work with your hands to gain the morrow.

Mind Your Own Business
Mind Your Own Business
(Words and music by Hank Williams, Sr.)
If the wife and I was fussin', brother that's our right
Me and that ole woman bought a license to fight
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, mind your own business(Mind your own business)
If youmind your own business, you won't be mindin' mine.
Well, the woman on the party line's a nosey thing
She picks up her receiver when she knows it's my ring
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, mind your own business(Mind your own business)
If you mind your own business, you won't be mindin' mine.
--- Instrumental with ad libs ---
Well, I got a little girl that wears her hair up high
The boys all hollar when she walks by
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Just mind your own business, you wont be mindin' mine.
--- Instrumental with ad libs ---
I may tell a lot of stories that may not be true
But I can get to Heaven just as easy as you
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, will you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Mind your business, and you won't be mindin' mine.
--- Instrumental with ad libs ---
Now, If I want to honky tonk 'til around two or three
Darlin' that's my headache, don't you worry 'bout me.
Why don't you mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Go on and mind your own business(Mind your own business)
If you're mindin' your business, you won't be mindin' mine.
--- Instrumental---
Mindin' other people's business seems to be high-toned
Well, I got all that I can do just to mind my own
Mind your own business(Mind your own business)
Yeah, mind your own business(Mind your own business)
If you mind your businessmyou won't be mindin' mine.
Dear Lord, If you mind your business, you'll be busy all the time...

Quiet Life
Somethings happenin but Im just gonna turn a blind eye.
If I see no evil, ask no questions, and I hear no lies.
Cant communicate with minds that are small,
With some people its like talkin to the wall
And a fellow who walks away,
Lives to battle another day.
And Ive really got no appetite
For a fight,
Not tonight.
All I want is a quiet life.
Anything for a quiet life.
No ambition to rock the boat
When I can just stay afloat.
Be content with a quiet life
All I want is a quiet life.
Anything for a quiet life.
Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil at all.
Confidentially, between these walls,
Im on top of it all.
Id rather have em think Im deaf, dumb, and blind
Than aggravation every time I speak my mind
Keep _________ at a quiet life.
Anything for a quiet life.
I could easily blow my top,
Start a row,
But why start now?
Give your daddy a quiet life.
Give your mother a quiet life.
Anything for a quiet life.
[instrumental section]
Give your daddy a quiet life.
Give your mother a quiet life.
Anything for a quiet life.
Confidentially, between these walls,
Im on top of it all.

Lead Balloon
Kiss my ass! I said
And I threw my drink
Tequila trickling
Down his business suit
Must be the irish blood
Fight before you think
Turn it now
You cant cowtow
You cant undo it
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
An angry man is just an angry man
But an angry woman
Bitch!
I had to ask him for a helping hand
It came with the heart
Of a bonaparte
Of a frozen fish
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon, lead lead lead lead balloon
Lead balloon
Its his town
And that went down
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead balloon
He said sic her, rover
That went over
Like a lead balloon
Lead lead lead lead balloon

Unfinished Business
Took a walk outside, the truth was on my side,
But I didnt even make the corner.
Revolution in my sights, the time seems so right,
But I never even saw it coming.
Cant let it go. oh no, no.
Cant you hear me call, bang my head against the wall,
Cant stay around this place forever.
Cant you see, we gotta be free,
We all gotta come together.
Dont let go, oh no.
Unfinished business,
You thought youd keep me quiet.
You put a bullet in my side, but you cant put out my light.
Unfinished business,
Yes, loves the only way to find peace today.
The futures here today, we gotta find a way,
To put all the pain behind you.
You gotta put down the guns, all religion is one,
Politicians only want to blind you.
Break away, oh theres a way.
Oh, the message is clear, wipe away all the tears,
And build a better world around you.
Got to give out your love to each and every one,
Cant you see its only fear that holds you,
Let it go. oh, let it go.
Unfinished business,
I though that I was right[? ].
What that fool put out that night, [? ] burn so bright.
Unfinished business,
Oh yes, loves the only way to find peace today.
So you thought youd take my life,
Put a bullet in my side, but you cant put out my light.
Unfinished business,
Loves the only way to find peace today.
Unfinished business
Unfinished business
Unfinished business
Theres a long road behind you,
Its a hard life if you make it one
Come on to the other side [? ]
There is no place to hide
Unfinished business
Unfinished business

Since Thou Hast Given Me This Good Hope, O God
SINCE thou hast given me this good hope, O God,
That while my footsteps tread the flowery sod
And the great woods embower me, and white dawn
And purple even sweetly lead me on
From day to day, and night to night, O God,
My life shall no wise miss the light of love;
But ever climbing, climb above
Man's one poor star, man's supine lands,
Into the azure steadfastness of death,
My life shall no wise lack the light of love,
My hands not lack the loving touch of hands;
But day by day, while yet I draw my breath,
And day by day, unto my last of years,
I shall be one that has a perfect friend.
Her heart shall taste my laughter and my tears,
And her kind eyes shall lead me to the end.

Put It Down
Put it down!
Pick it up tomorrow.
It will be more relevant.
And then a defensiveness,
You now today hold that is senseless...
Will become easier for you to admit,
Without me being around to witness it.
Put it down.
Do not attempt to absorb any of this.
Your lack of comprehension,
Will only lead to an argument.
And just for the sake of peace and quiet,
I will pretend your thought process...
Does not inhibit your lack to exhibit understanding.
Put it down.
I am sure you will find some time...
To allow your mind to open.
And digesting what is being addressed,
Without me reminding you...
How disgusted you are with my directness.
And if I came to deceive you with sweetness,
Everything I said you would accept.
Put it down.
With me in your presence...
And handing you this message,
The only thing you will remember...
Is being upset.
Not by the message...
But by my presence you will not forget.
Put this down!
It will make more sense to you tomorrow.

Takin' Care Of Business
You get up every morning
From your alarm clock's warning
Take the 8:15 into the city
There's a whistle up above
And people pushin', people shovin'
And the girls who try to look pretty
And if your train's on time
You can get to work by nine
And start your slaving job to get your pay
If you ever get annoyed
Look at me I'm self-employed
I love to work at nothing all day
And I'll be...
Taking care of business every day
Taking care of business every way
I've been taking care of business, it's all mine
Taking care of business and working overtime
Work out
--- Instrumental ---
If it were easy as fishin'
You could be a musician
If you could make sounds loud or mellow
Get a second-hand guitar
Chances are you'll go far
If you get in with the right bunch of fellows
People see you having fun
Just a-lying in the sun
Tell them that you like it this way
It's the work that we avoid
And we're all self-employed
We love to work at nothing all day
And we be...
Taking care of business every day
Taking care of business every way
I've been taking care of business, it's all mine
Taking care of business and working overtime
--- Instrumental ---
And we be...
Taking care of business every day
Taking care of business every way
I've been taking care of business, it's all mine
Taking care of business and working overtime
--- Instrumentall to fade ---

I Love You, I Honestly Love You
I Love You, Honestly I Love You
Maybe I hang around here
A little more than I should
We both know I got somewhere else to go
But I got something to tell you
That I never thought I would
But I believe you really ought to know
I love you
I honestly love you
You don't have to answer
I see it in your eyes
Maybe it was better left unsaid
This is pure and simple
And you should realize
That it's coming from my heart and not my head
I love you
I honestly love you
I'm not trying to make you feel uncomfortable
I'm not trying to make you anything at all
But this feeling doesn't come along everyday
And you shouldn't blow the chance
When you've got the chance to say
I love you
I honestly love you
If we both were born
In anoother place and time
This moment might be ending in a kiss
But there you are with yours
And here I am with mine
So I guess we'll just be leaving it at this
I love you
I honestly love you
I honestly love you

Crossroads
Ive got nothing on my mind: nothing to remember,
Nothing to forget. and Ive got nothing to regret,
But Im all tied up on the inside,
No one knows quite what Ive got;
And I know that on the outside
What I used to be, Im not anymore.
You know Ive heard about people like me,
But I never made the connection.
They walk one road to set them free
And find theyve gone the wrong direction.
But theres no need for turning back
'cause all roads lead to where I stand.
And I believe Ill walk them all
No matter what I may have planned.
Can you remember who I was? can you still feel it?
Can you find my pain? can you heal it?
Then lay your hands upon me now
And cast this darkness from my soul.
You alone can light my way.
You alone can make me whole once again.
Weve walked both sides of every street
Through all kinds of windy weather.
But that was never our defeat
As long as we could walk together.
So theres no need for turning back
'cause all roads lead to where we stand.
And I believe well walk them all
No matter what we may have planned.

One Who Pursues Gets Done What They Do
I choose and elect,
To do the best I can do.
Not that I believe I am the best,
At doing it.
But I like to think I am.
What would be the point to make,
If I didn't?
And why do people enter competitions?
Because they lack ambition?
I think not.
One who pursues gets done what they do!
I happen to enjoy being dragged through the mud.
And for someone with that kind of ambition...
Is not one subdued.
I suggest that as a prerequisite!
To get over any sensitivites,
Associated with a public affixed with critics.

Understanding The Lack Of What We Are
what we sorely
lack we do not
talk about, afraid
that this may lead
only to the destruction
of our bridge
our love knows
that time always
keeps its hands
moving, and we
soon accept that
this lack is part of
the house of love,
in fact, what we
lack built us the
spaces for windows
to exist for doors
to be real, and so
here we are now
still one, no one is
a shadow here,
a true soul cannot
project it...

A Life Journey!
Ignorance is darkness of cave under ocean!
Fear ever rules the mind of darkness sure!
Knowledge is power of Sun over life ever....!
Knowledge of all things is Stars of Universe!
Exploring this Universe is joy endless ever!
But journey sans destination is blind adventure
Leading one nowhere but to disillusionment only!
Fast accrual of all knowledge begins journey first;
Vision based on full knowledge gives whole picture;
Ambition then based on vision leads to achievement!
This life ambition only can make life enthusiastic,
Lead life journey with a purpose never deviating!
So, knowledge journey reveals all truths unknown
And also realize ultimate reality to be one with all!

Do Lack Nothing
Asian classic,
African classic,
American classic,
Canadian classic,
European classic,
Austratian classic,
Like life at the 'four blocks of hell' to share my mind with you.
Vancouver,
The State of Glass;
Of a three-hundred-year-old tree to share my mind with you.
By faith, Abel offered more excellent sacrifice than Cain;
But i will renew my covenant with you my love.
Vancouver! !
Don't throw stones if you are living in a glass house;
Like the voice of the malak gadol,
Walk honestly to all and do lack nothing.
