It was a warm fall day,
When I first met you,
You had come to teach me to play the guitar,
I was told from the beginning that you were just here to teach me,
When I first saw you, I thought, Dang he is hot,
But you were only to teach me the guitar,
From that day we were always together,
Now I get told that you are a ladies man,
And you know girls around the area,

Warning Bells
Warning Bells
Reaching for that bottle, your hand on that throttle,
getting ready to ride without a guide,
down that road, that road to hell.
Wake up before it's too late,
before you reach that gate.
Let go of the hate,
think of your mate.
Looking at life through the bottom of a bottle,
hands shaking,
body quaking.
One of these days you won't be waking.
Don't you hear them Warning Bells?
Shatter that bottle on the floor,
turn around, walk out that door,

New Mattress
I was having trouble sleeping the other day.
Couldn't go to sleep when I hit the hay.
So I went to the store and bought a brand new sack
Hoping to relieve the pain in my back.
I was ready for bed but there on the table
Lay a note in red on the big warning label.
‘This mattress is so wonderful you may be forsaken
Once you try it out you may never awaken.'
Wow! , That warning put my brain in a stew
So I stayed awake for hours wondering just what to do.
I figured I shouldn't believe everything that I've read
So I retired that night in my brand new bed.
I ignored that warning and I woke up dead!

I was hiding from a light growing brighter and brighter
On a day when the sun rose earlier without any warning,
Intoxicating my being
You were seemingly still sleeping,
But I felt your wish growing brighter and brighter

Violence Fills The Earth
As the earth fills with violence, there seems to be much silence,
In the professing Body of Christ, regarding darkness in this life,
Of the things believers are told, the love of most will grow cold,
Has that coldness hindered us, form speaking for Christ Jesus?
Christ asked will He find faith, as He returns at the end of Grace,
A vibrant faith that will uphold, all of His teachings we were told,
Even His teaching on warning friend, about darkness in the end,
With all the darkness in this world, God's Truths we must herald!
As the days of Noah would be, that violence in our time we see,
Upon which judgment shall fall, on all the living, great and small;
This is God's warning to all men, that Judgment is coming again,
Onto all the world as a whole, God's stern warning to every soul!
Even in the time of Abraham, we have a warning from the 'I AM.'
His warning upon two cities, Sodom and Gomorrah for atrocities,
Cities Christ would also mention, this my friend with His intention,

A Bugle Played
A bugle as a warning played
From a watchman in the spire
Allowed a city to defend itself
From attack by Tater fire
An one of the attackers saw
The bugler making the warning call
And with arrow fired pierced his throat
Causing the music to cease and man dead to fall
And to this day in that town
That music it is played
From the same spire on the same church
