Portia
This is the year that you will be married and,
This is the year that you will succeed!
Because Portia is your name and,
The muse of love respects you.

A Faithful Witness
To the firstborn of Yahseph,
Of all that is created;
To the secondborn of Yahseph,
Do set set your mind on Mount Zion;
For His name is His glory and,
Of the economic well-being.
Of the year of the rat,
Of the year of the dog,
Of the year of the cow,
Of the year of the bull,
Of the year of the sheep,
Of the year of the dragon,
Of the year of the snake,
Of the year of the pig,
Of the year of the goat,
Of the year of the lizard,
Of the year of the crocodile,
Of the year of the elephant,
Of the year of the scorpion,
Of the year of the turtle,
Of the year of the fish,
Of the year of the earth,
Of the year of the wind,
Of the year of the fire,
Of the year of the water,
And of the year of the bush!
Like the firstborns of slaves.
The hips of romance,
The faithful witness will not lie;
The same day,
The same night,
Of the love shared at where no oxen are;
And the crib was very clean.

A Year and A Day
A year and a day
Are all that lay
Between me and
My love
A year and a day
Three months 'til May
The year leaping
Above
A year and a day
You scorn to say
Is destiny
Belov'd
A year and a day
I slight cliché
This puzzle I
Speak of
A year and a day
Do not delay
Migrate to me
My dove
A year and a day
No time astray
Like seconds that
I shove
A year and day
From the same clay
You claim you are
Void of
A year and a day
All night I pray
That you would be
My love

A Year Like This One
After a year like this one
Im surprised I do not hate your guts
And, after a year like this one
Im suprised I still love music just as much
After a year like this one
Im suprised I did not eat my arm
And, after a year like this one
Im sorry if Im not cordial to everyone
La la la la la ....
After a year like this one
Im suprised I do not hate your guts
And, after a year like this one
Im suprised I still love music just as much
After a year like this one
Im suprised I did not eat my arm
And, after a year like this one
Im sorry if Im not cordial to everyone
La, la, la, la, la.....
After a year like this one
Im supised I am convinced at all
And, after a year like this one
I do not roll my eyes at the cynical
And,after a year like this one
I cant help wonder how theyve been
After a year like this one
I think Ill leave it all to my next-of-kin
La, la, la, la, la.....
After a year like this one
Im suprised were all not raving drunks and
After a year like this one
I want you to choose the restaurant
After a year like this one
Ill need a good whole 16 months alone and
After a year like this one
I think Ill make the west coast beaches my new home
La, la, la, la, la.....

Funky New Year
Went to a party just last night
Wanted to bring the year in right
Woke up this morning I don't know how
Last night I was a happy man, but the way I feel right now
It's gonna be a FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
Ooo, Ahh, got to be a FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
Can't remember when I ever felt worse
Nothing matters and everything hurts
They were passin' round the bottle, made me feel brand new
Trouble with the new man he wants a hit too, hit me
FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
oooooo, it's a FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
Lord, mmm, FUNKY NEW YEAR
Nurse I'm worse FUNKY NEW YEAR
I got to perk up a little FUNKY NEW YEAR
My hair hurts FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
A party baby
Never again FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
Who's shoes are these FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
Party hardy baby FUNKY NEW YEAR
FUNKY NEW YEAR
What year is this anyway?

One Year In Heaven
One year in heaven,
One year you've been there,
So far away,
Someday I'll see you in the air,
One year in heaven,
I miss you so much,
Smile down upon me,
And show me your love.
One year in heaven,
It seems like so long,
Since the last time I saw you,
And then you were gone,
One year in heaven,
You left earth to soon,
But I know they need you,
More then I do,
One year in heaven,
I'm alone on the earth,
I miss your sweet kisses,
And all that you're worth,
One year in heaven,
Is God really there?
Why did he take you,
As I cried in despair.
One year in heaven,
I still see your face,
The day that you took,
The last breath you would take,
One year in heaven,
Why did you die,
I know God needed you,
But still I cry.
One year in heaven,
Soon I'll be there,
So wait by the gate,
Please, this do swear,
One year in heaven,
To me it is long,
But you have no pain,
From this earth you have gone.
One year in heaven,
It's so hard to move on,
I'll send you a prayer,
And sing you a song,
One year in heaven,
Life's not the same,
Since you left this world,
I'm living in a daze.
One year in heaven,
You watch from above,
Sit there and smile,
And send me your love,
One year in heaven,
You may think it's just a day,
But this world is so different,
Since God took you away

Love Respects
Love respects everyone always,
Love respects everyone's way of life,
Everyone's way of living needs respect,
Love respects everyone always :)
Love respects everyone's opinions,
Love helps us understand everyone's choices,
Respecting everyone's choices encourages understanding,
Love respects everyone's opinions :)
Love respects our needs and desires,
Love knows our needs include respect,
Our desires need respect to be understood,
Love respects our needs and desires :)
Love respects family always,
Love understands a families' influence,
Our parents' decisions need respect,
Love respects family always :)

1888
The year 1888,
You really don't see like i do see;
The year 1888,
You really don't think like i do think;
The year 1888,
You really don't hear like i do hear;
For history do repeat itself all the time!
And i am like your past in this game of love,
But you've hidden your sweet love far from me.
Your present is like my muse and,
I will surely get to you one day with my love;
Because the future is all about us!

Bullet from a gun!
Out of reach and out of love;
But Asbury will wait for me on this love,
And like a 50 year-old man who married a 19 year-old girl.

June 16th!
Making it legal,
Taking it to the top!
And like the muse of love between Portia and Johnson;
For, they are now ready to marry.
June 16th,2012!
Drinking a cup of milk a day and,
Eating three apples a day for love! !
And, this is the date set for Johnson and Portia to marry.

Draw Back
Tea with wine,
Molasses with beer,
I've got my sweet mind on you!
But a 43 year-old man slept with a 17 year-old girl,
And i want to know whether it is moral of it is rape!
Today,
They are married with a 14 year-old child.
Judge according to the laws and sleep with the values,
And learn from the formats to show me the way;
Because this man violated the virginity of this girl!
And now, nature had automatically joined them together as husband and wife.
Draw back!
We do succeed always by trying over and over again;
And the wise will always learn from their mistakes,
But do review always what you are best at in this world.
Push in and draw out,
Push in to enter the door and draw back for your exit;
For it is very hard to change the heart and the mind at times.

One Year
What's in a year?
We watch it disappear.
Its days go by.
They seem to fly
into the ethers of the past.
A year too swiftly
does not last.
And yet each day within the year
contains within it
every single minute
where your life is resolute
and filled with purpose.
A year is not just calandar days
to be scratched off one by one.
When you do this it's then you find
you miss out on its fun.
In a year one can learn
to appreciate the time you have
to be among the living,
the time you have for giving.
In a year you learn about power
that allows you to fill each hour
with everything you love.
What's in a year?
All things new that can appear,
things you've never given thought to,
things in life you want to do.
Before the year has gone away
see before you each new day
and as the year meets its end
be one who can say
'This year has been my friend.
It gave me solace, gave me peace
and it gave me the chance to release
Pain.

This New Year
THIS NEW YEAR
This New Year
Unlike any year before,
I will at last do,
What I have never been able to do before.
This New Year
After so many years
In which I did not
I will at last
Become
What I have so long striven to be.
This New Year
Perhaps God
Will give this to me.

This Year
[Intro:]
"I spent this whole year, doin' my thang, just thinkin' bout me, but that's about to change,
cause this year it's all about you, baby"
[Verse 1:]
I made a lot of promises last year I guess
And though I didn't keep them all, a few I kept
I even made a few decisions that I now regret
And for the New Year, ooh dear, this is gonna be the best one yet,
Cause it's all about you this year
[Chorus:]
This year, everything is all about you
This year, you're part of everything I do
This year, if there's anything you want, all you gotta do is ask
This year, you come first, everybody else comes last
[Verse 2:]
There were times when you didn't know where I was at
(so you'd call)
I'd see your number on my cell knowing well I need to holla back
(but I'd stall)
Any other guy would leave if they were treated like that
It was no parade but you stayed, so this year it's a wrap
It's all about you this year
[Repeat Chorus]
[Bridge:]
I didn't mean to diss you babe
Ignore or dismiss you babe
Hear me out and listen babe
This year and more is yours
Cause you deserve better than this no doubt
We got a few minutes til this year runs out
So listen dear, we've shed our last tear this year
[Repeat Chorus]

Beautiful Madagascar
Of great ideas,
Of great words,
Please don't come to me empty handed;
Oh beautiful Madagascar!
You are one among the lot.
Like the year of the donkey,
Like the year of the bull,
Like the year of the cow,
Like the year of the dragon,
Like the year of the rat,
Like the year of the fish,
The best kept secrets of beautiful Madagascar! !
You are our hope and dream,
But you are supposed to be the pregnant girl;
With the muse of Africa to all who do visit you.
Pregnant with possibilities when,
Dogs are sold for fun;
Upon what are the foundations of the earth fastened?
Out of the whirlwind came beautiful Madagascar!
Like the seeds with hope,
Like the stars with a song,
Out of hunger and nakedness came something sweet.
Beautiful Madagascar,
Wake up to the tunes of Africa! And,
Let others see your beauty when they do visit you.

The Spring And The Fall
In the spring of the year, in the spring of the year,
I walked the road beside my dear.
The trees were black where the bark was wet.
I see them yet, in the spring of the year.
He broke me a bough of the blossoming peach
That was out of the way and hard to reach.
In the fall of the year, in the fall of the year,
I walked the road beside my dear.
The rooks went up with a raucous trill.
I hear them still, in the fall of the year.
He laughed at all I dared to praise,
And broke my heart, in little ways.
Year be springing or year be falling,
The bark will drip and the birds be calling.
There's much that's fine to see and hear
In the spring of a year, in the fall of a year.
'Tis not love's going hurt my days.
But that it went in little ways.

Jama
Nights of great romance and,
Nights of great words;
And like the end of the year and,
The start of the year! !
But, you are one of the ten lovers around.
Jama is your anme and, i do love you! !
But, you need to rise up very early to understand my sweet muse;
For, sleeping idle always will not gain you respect on my sweet muse,
Because, i am the very special person for your sweet love!
Your love to me is like the ice-breakers! !
But, a visit to you is like the ground-diggers!
So, come and learn more from the ways of life around me;
For, you need me to put away this mask on your face,
Oh, my sweet Jama! ! !
It is better to see the light always than to be in the dark.
