Okon
You are an astute policeman,
But with words flowing out of your mouth like the River Jordan;
So do learn from the Bible Code and,
Keep your life going at all times to satisfy your wants.
You need to do your best at all times and,
Do face the world around you with peace than hatred.
Of camels loaded with spices,
Come ans spice up my love with the sweet muse of life;
Like the caravan of Ishmaylites on a desert road.
Okon, how is life over there in Nigeria?
And do take rest in the afternoon!
For, i am now walking better in the wilderness of life.

Mr. And Mrs. James Akpan II
Of your spiritual inner-self,
Of my spiritual inner-self,
But, i am made among the people of this earth!
And, wisdom is my first priority;
However, Mrs. Akpan will still remember her words towards me on the day of the contract.
This muse of life is now being elevated with the peace of the mind,
These works of joy are now being seen among you all!
With the indications of love from my mind to influence you;
And like the road leading to the house of the royal elephant,
But, i am what i am today with the sweet muse of life.
Wisdom leads to great success! !
back in the days, and to remember this journey on the very hard road;
But, with the muse of my roots in mind to deliver my works,
However, i am what i am today with the sweet muse of life.
Peace and joy to the Akpan family whom i met some years ago in Lagos (Nigeria) !
For, my heart will always bring out peace and joy to all with my works;
And my mouth shall always speak out wisdom to teach many,
However, i am what i am today with much experiences in life.

Talk About The Good Times
(words & music by jerry reed hubbard)
Well I remember when I was as children
The time the people used to treat the neighbor like a fellow man
And all their singin and big prayer meetins
When a man was proud to walk up and shake his neighbors hand
Oh you talk about the good times,
Talk about the good times
Oh if you ever needed help a friend was there
Some good neighbor
Help lift your burden
Mmm, and the simple joys of life a friend would share
Times are harder and the people are changin
Now most folks couldnt tell you who their neighbors are
All their guns are loaded, the front doors are bolted
Aint this ol world takin hate and fear just a little too far
Oh you talk about the good times,
Talk about the good times
I wish I could go back to the days Im speakin of
When a friend would meet you
And a smile would greet you
What this ol world needs now is a little old fashioned love
My granddaddy God rest his soul now
Well we had a big long talk together the day he died
Said son this world is full of hate and venom
An I cant wait to leave this ol place and rest on the other side
Oh you talk about the good times, talk about the good times
Talk about the good times
Im gonna see all the friends I knew in the good ol days
Well have a big hand shakin
An sit and talk together
Sit down by the river jordan and sing our blues away
Oh you talk about the good times, talk about the good times
Talk about the good times
Im gonna see all the friends I knew in the good ol days
Well have a big hand shakin
An sit and talk together
Sit down by the river jordan and sing our blues away
Oh you talk about the good times, talk about the good times
Talk about the good times
Im gonna see all the friends I knew in the good ol days
Well have a big hand shakin
An sit and talk together
Sit down by the river jordan and sing our blues away

20th December
When your boyfriend insults you what will you do?
When your girlfriend insults you what will you do?
When your husband insults you what will you do?
When your wife insults you what will you do?
Of the way of life that goes on like this at times;
But who the cup fits must surely wear it.
I am a teacher on this love,
But at times i am being insulted by my students;
And that makes me learn better daily,
Because the road of life is crooked at times.
20th December,
Of the insult that i received from you as my lover;
Then i stopped to think for a while,
Why should i hear these words from you?
Oh life,
How hard it is for some people to change;
And, you cannot satisfy everybody on this earth.
Yes, whatever you do people will talk about you;
Whether in a positive way or a negative way.
20th December!
Of a call so close to me than your muse;
But my heart will lead me on always with my patience.

Secret Code
The secret code of man,
The secret code of woman,
The secret copde of life,
And the secret code of the Creator;
May the road rise up to meet you!
For it the spirit that guides ones life.
May the rain fall softly upon your fields!
May the sun shine warm upon your face!
May Yahweh hold you in the palm of His hand!
And open your eyes and start to see,
For hatred is the main cause of death on this earth.
A leopard with four wings like a fowl,
A lion with eagle's wings,
A bear with three ribs in its mouth,
All in the night of visions with my muse;
But all offerings must be salted with love.

Yahweh
Oh Father Yahweh,
Help me to see your presence with your understandings;
And like the sweet love that spreads out for love,
I will always follow your laws of peace and love.
Why is the world like this?
For i am in the wilderness of Zin like,
The sins of my youth without any clue to move on.
The law is to be decided by a lot and,
Of the oracles of the one whose eyes are opened!
For Yahweh is not a man that He should lie.
The mouth of the donkey spoke and Balaam was surprised! !
So why cover your face and hold the gun of terror?
Surely, this thing is known; and surely, this thing is seen;
Because what is done in the dark is now exposed by the light.
Of a consuming fire!
From the Red Sea to the River Euphrates;
For Yahweh will surely provide for those who believe in Him.
I am for peace and those around me are for war,
You are for peace but those around you are for war,
So is this world of peace and hatred!
But, we have to fight on with peace at all times.

Wondering Around
As a symbol of life,
From mitochondrion to anthropology;
As asymbol of life,
From prophylaxis to dermatology;
As a symbol of life,
And of the muse of the birds that sings at times;
For i will dance on this flowing water!
And to take you for a ride on this love.
Wondering around,
To all the women that i have loved before;
Floating in the air,
To all th countries that i have visited before;
But today i am like the course of your problems,
Because you are with a child.
Visions of an open world,
From human hair to learn a times;
But when one thing dies,
Another thing starts to grow!

Anja
A man kills his wife, two sons and himself!
Living in a land called 'Münsterland' like a Monster's Land;
But, what can we now do about it?
For, many are really disturbed in this life! !
However, we need true love in this life from each other to move on.
My love to you is like the outskirts of Axim!
And my name is Anja with this muse of love towards you;
But to learn to do the positive things always is like the muse of peace,
And, my love to you is like the Mississippi River in the land of your joy!
The truth about life is peace and love,
The truth about love is with care and unity,
And like the aroma of peace in the land of beautiful flowers!
But, hatred led a man to kill himself and his family in 'Münsterland'.

At The Beginning
We were strangers, starting out on a journey
Never dreaming, what wed have to go through
Now here we are, Im suddenly standing
At the beginning with you
No one told me I was going to find you
Unexpected, what you did to my heart
When I lost hope, you were there to remind me
This is the start
And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
Ill be there when the world stops turning
Ill be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you
We were strangers on a crazy adventure
Never dreaming, how our dreams would come true
Now here we stand, unafraid of the future
At the beginning with you
And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
Ill be there when the world stops turning
Ill be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you
Knew there was somebody, somewhere
A new love in the dark
Now I know my dream will live on
Ive been waiting so long
Nothings gonna tear us apart
And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
Ill be there when the world stops turning
Ill be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you
Yeah
Life is a road that I wanna keep going on
Love is a river, I wanna keep going
Starting out on a journey
Life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

Cross River State
Port Harcourt, Enugu, Makurdi, Kaduna, Zaria;
Living in my hut in Ogoja to satisfy my muse,
But the muse of my love comes from Cross River State.
Kano, Jos, Sokoto, Lagos, Abeakuta;
The story of my life style to muse uo with my culture,
But the muse of my home comes from Cross River State.
Ogoja, Abakaliki, Obudu, Baterik, Obubra;
This story of my various movements is all about Nigeria,
And this muse of mine is all about my love in Cross River State.

Wasila
Of your life for his life,
Of your life for her life,
Of your life for my life,
Of my life for your life,
But this place is used for a latrine;
So come up with a different plan on this issue.
You are in the House of Baal and,
I am in the House of Yahweh;
You are in the House of Beth-El and,
I am still in the House of Yahweh;
So come up with a different plan on this issue.
Wasila, are you of the same mind with me?
Then try to be yourself at all times to learn from others;
Because, Yahweh has shorten the borders of Israyl.
Such is life and we have to learn always,
Such is the muse and we have to keep on moving;
For the tides of life do change at all times.

New Talents
Tracing my past,
Looking for my identity;
Walking into my mind,
Learning from others,
Living through life,
Writing for others
With my hopes and my dreams!
But, others want to see me in person.
This is my muse and this is my home,
Others want to understand my mind;
But, this world is like that at times!
With me walking into my mind to set the pace,
But, this race is not yet over.
Heading towards you,
With my mind as the keyboard for you to type your words;
But, my identity is what the people are asking for! !
However, i am who i am in a land on the West Coast of Africa.
Wars! ! Why are they killing each other?
Who created us?
Then, you can answer yourselves on this simple matter;
Because, we need peace everywhere on this earth than war!
This is my muse of love,
With words from my mind to lead you on;
This is my muse of care,
With words from my inner self to educate you;
However, new talents are born everyday into this world.

Remember The Good Times
Good times bad times
Bad times good times
We were twisting Chubby Checker style
In a roaring sixties summer night
We walked the moon and we were free
When Jimi played guitar
We shared a dream with Martin Luther King
We saw J.F.K. in West Berlin
When he spoke those famous words that day
Our world was not the same
Remember the good times
Remember the bad times
Remembering my life, your life
Let the film just roll
We were lost in shock, the world was doomed
Nikita hit us with a shoe
We watched the world go upside down
When the Kennedys got shot
We were screaming when the world was fab
We had Rock 'n' Roll invade our hearts
We had Elvis, Janis, Marilyn
And hair, to let it grow
Remember the good times
Remember the bad times
Remembering my life, your life
Let the film just roll
Remember the good times
Remember the bad times
Remembering my life, your life
We're still standing after all
Back in the cold war
Our hearts were warm
Just because sex was free
In the summer of love
Remember the good times
Remember the bad times
Remembering my life, your life
Let the film just roll
Remember the good times
Remember the bad times
Remembering my life, your life
We're still standing after all
Good times bad times
Bad times good times
Im still standing
Let the film just roll
I'm still standing
We're still standing after all

Bilikisu
I am Bilikisu and,
I am living in Charles' Town!
With the Blue Mountain at a distance to share my muse;
But, your ways of life is like the crocodiles in the Black River.
Life is like war at times! !
And, life is like a pregnant woman in pains at times;
But be yourself always in this world,
And dance to your own style at the place of the talking drums!
For, the future is unknown to all of us.

Life is water
Life is water
flowing in river of time.
It will scatter around
if no banks of discipline.
Some times flows smooth,
some times strikes with rocks,
shallow and deeper some times,
some times sloping fast.
Changes its color at places
in colors of love and laughter
happiness and sorrow
hate, anger and desire
Flowing it would contain
shells of the pearls;
while stagnant it would rot
and spread foul smell.
Stream of life never stops
whatever obstacles come;
continues to flow
until merges into the ocean.

Purple Rain and Purple Lavender II
Purple rain and purple lavender,
Find me a place and let me fix my love;
For somebody got to pay for my works! !
And like Shadrachm, Meshach and Abednego.
Life is like the wings of love,
Life is like a strom at sea,
Life is like the works of love,
Life is all about us in this world! !
And at times, it is full of hate;
But, this purple rain and this purple lavender will be well noted by us all.
Purple rain and purple lavender,
With the sweet smell of love to satisfy my muse!
But the rainbow colours are the colours of love,
And like your love in the land of beautiful flowers.
People and the ways of life,
But the wars have destroyed many things around us! !
However, i will still love you for what you are;
And like the muse of love in the land of many widows!
For, this purple rain and this purple lavender are well noted by us all.

Far Away
Sweeten your banks and come to me,
Over the fair times of love to share with you;
To nature and to me so dear i do pray,
Many works of love will meet our eyes one day.
In your laps with joy and peace,
Of old and young hearts in love;
Like an impetuous speed with its voluptuous smell.
Of mutual eyes so sweet,
Peal on peal like the loveliness of a muse;
That was far away like a dying gladiator.
He heard it but he heeded not,
She heard it but she heeded not,
That was far away like a dying gladiator.
In your laps with joy and peace,
Over the fair times of love to share with you;
Beauty is still here,
Love is still here,
Peace is still here,
In hot haste to satisfy you like the sea-wolf;
But life is like a warrior taking his rest.

The River
You are my river
Keep on flowing through
Filling my life
With all of you
You are the freedom
Ive been searching for
Oh how I love you
Just for who you are
There will be hard times
Everyone must go through
Testing his love
Just to see if its true
But the hard times will come
But they all pass away
I have seen the light
In my life today
Thats why I love you
Just for who you are
You are my river.

There Are Times
There are times
when life goes topsy-turvy.
There are times
when we are full of dismay.
There are times
when pebbles dropped in water
can be felt across the bay.
There are times
when life gets a little crazy
and we know not which way to turn.
There are times
when everything is rosy
and in everyone’s life, there is sunshine.
There are times
when you feel lazy
and want the world to roll on by.
There are times
your world is filled with laughter.
There are times
when you want to
just sit down and cry.
There is a time for everything
and it will happen when it wants to.
We can only live from day to day
and take these times when they happen.

Patton
Of the peace that we share on this love,
And of your muse that leads me on;
But like the keyboards being played to satisfy me,
I will set my heart's love on you only.
Patton, you are what i have been searching for;
And your love to me is like the sun rising from the East.
In your very dream, i will be there for you;
In your very work, i will be there to support you;
In your every kiss, i will be there to satisfy you;
Because, true love comes from you like River Jordan.
I need to be deep inside you like the air that i breath,
So come and take me home with this sweet love of yours.
