Nature's Strong Hands
Oh 'Christchurch' of New Zealand! !
Nature's strong hands tolled on you and the whole land was destroyed;
And it now looks like a scene after the war,
But who can control nature's strong hands?
'Christchurch' of new Zealand! !
Of the things destroyed and of those who died after the earthquake;
But equally to all is the muse of life,
So let those who are still alive take up the pieces and see how best to rebuild them again.

Prime Minister John Key
Prime Minister John Key of New Zealand,
Let us think of how best to build back 'Christchurch';
For the heavy earthquake came and destroyed everything!
I saw it on the T.V. and you felt it on your land,
But let the world come to your aid to build back 'Christchurch';
For tomorrow is the New Moon.

Child Of Mist
Returned
to Christchurch in 83
a toy town
matchbox city
after Melbourne.
New Zealand
is like that
not yet ready
to grow up.
Yet sometimes
the eyes
of a child
see through mist
to save a world.

New Zealand
An earthquake struck New Zealand's city of Christchurch on Tuesday
Burying vehicles under debris and collapsing buildings into the streets.
Police announced a curfew and city was shut down on Wednesday,
Rescuers scrambled to reach beneath the rubble the residents.
The quake devastating the spire of the Cathedraland is a real tale.
The buildings had collapsed and the people were trapped inside.
All around the city, this powerful earthquake strangely bent some rails, Moreover, it toppled the tall buildings and seventy five people died.
The earthquake combination of distance and depth was so deadly,
Streets were strewn with concrete and people were stuck in towers.
Firefighters climbed ladders to pluck people from roofs to safety.
Buildings have gone because aftershocks hit the city within two hours.
Pre-World War buildings were damaged by the quake on September,
People wandered through streets strewn with debris and concrete.
The further damage was caused by a strong aftershock in December.
Now there is a real carnage with bodies littering the streets..
The women went into premature labor and the city was in agony.
The airport was shut down, in ruins the people began to groan,
Every child has been walking home trying to find the lost family.
The city were suffering cuts to the water supply and the phone.
A thirty million tone block of ice sheared off a glacier of New Zealand
After the earthquake had devastated the city groping it into Dark.
The iceberg crashed into a lake had rocked the South Island
Ripping off the Tasman Glacier at Aoraki Mount Cook National Park.

New Zealand’s Great Alpine Fault
earth mobile surface divided into tectonic plates
Alpine fault cross hair connects two subduction margins
New Zealand continent sits on plate boundaries
where ocean floor descends into Earth's mantle
at this point surfaces of two plates making up
South Island alpine fault fatally pressure meets
Pacific Plate on easterly area of New Zealand
is moving westwards Australian Plate on opposing
western side of New Zealand moves eastwards
plates sliding at a relative rate about 45mm per year
plate boundaries mobile move at relative rates as plates
move against each other enormous pressure builds
up must be released through earth movement the result
major quake along New Zealand’s Great Alpine Fault
pressure continually building building now 294 years
since pressure last released a large earthquake in 1717 AD
Christchurch earthquakes now world famous babies
are not expected overdue big one causing vast devastation
next earthquake centered on Alpine Fault is expected
to begin in South Westland a magnitude 8+ event felt
throughout entire South Island as far away as Sydney
just as terror struck Sendai area of Japan without warning
thus will next Great Alpine Fault earthquake strike
South Westland will occur with no recognizable warning?

Waterlogged
Waterlogged and silent,
The muse of 'Hurricane Irene' hits New York!
But, i do hope that, the people over there will be in safer places;
However, nobody can stop Nature's strong hands.
Unsettled,
Unusually,
Uncertain! !
And like Nature's strong hands in the name of 'Hurricane Irene';
But let us all hope for the best after it overflows,
Even though, this flooding water destroys everything on its way.
Waterlogged, water, log, logged, god, dog, eat, ate, tea, are, era, art;
Waterlogged and silent!
Waterlogged, ear, to, at, lead, led, lod, deal, dale, ale, war, raw, dole;
The muse of 'Hurricane Irene' hits New York!
Waterlogged, tear, dear, read, deer, reed, go, do, doe, doer, oar, lower;
But, i do hope that, the people over there will be in safer places;
Waterlogged, wear, ware, weed, wed, law, low, dew, grew, rag, dreg;
However, nobody can stop Nature's strong hands! !
Waterlogged, rode, rod, red, draw, late, teal, tale, date, role, wart, gear;
And, uncertain are the different acts of the the 'Hurricanes' all over the world.

The Burial of Sir John Mackenzie
(1901)
They played him home to the House of Stones
All the way, all the way,
To his grave in the sound of the winter sea:
The sky was dour, the sky was gray.
They played him home with the chieftain's dirge,
Till the wail was wed to the rolling surge,
They played him home with a sorrowful will
To his grave at the foot of the Holy Hill
And the pipes went mourning all the way.
Strong hands that had struck for right
All the day, all the day,
Folded now in the dark of earth,
Veiled dawn of the upper way!
Strong hands that struck with his
From days that were to the day that is
Carry him now from the house of woe
To ride the way the Chief must go:
And his peers went mourning all the way.
Son and brother at his right hand
All the way, all the way!
And O for them and O for her
Who stayed within, the dowie day!
Son and brother and near of kin
Go out with the chief who never comes in!
And of all who loved him far and near
'Twas the nearest most who held him dear --
And his kin went mourning all the way!
The clan went on with the pipes before
All the way, all the way;
A wider clan than ever he knew
Followed him home that dowie day.
And who were they of the wider clan?
The landless man and the no man's man,
The man that lacked and the man unlearned,
The man that lived but as he earned --
And the clan went mourning all the way.
The heart of New Zealand went beside
All the way, all the way,
To the resting-place of her Highland Chief;
Much she thought she could not say;
He found her a land of many domains,
Maiden forest and fallow plains --
He left her a land of many homes,
The pearl of the world where the sea wind roams,
And New Zealand went mourning all the way.

Wonders Of Mother Nature
Mother nature
Oh mother nature
How beautiful and lovely you are
With such a tender loving care
Mother Nature
Ohh! Mother Nature
Our dearest mother nature
Our amazing mother nature
Ohh! Mother Nature
If nature allows can I please ask you a question
As a mother
How come you killed your young?
How come you made your fellow mothers cry?
How come you took away their joy?
You took the only thing that made their lives blossom
You suppose to make life beautiful
Mother Nature you suppose build
But how come you destroyed homes
Mother Nature you suppose to make the world a good place to be in
Yet you have turned the world to be a horrible place
Mother Nature as a mother you suppose to warn your young when the go astray
Not to destroy them
Yet you destroyed and killed them
You suppose to symbolize new beginnings and that there’s always hope
Yet you came and shuttled people’s lives and dreams

A dead world
as thy light turned to darkness
As thy world to black from blue
As thy eyes turned from bright to dull
And thy lust for blood became strong
As thy hair turned blood red
As thy clothes turned to black
As thy hands, feet became clawed
And thy lust for blood became strong
As thy people died with red, black
As thy city, town destroyed
As thy hunt for her started
And thy lust for blood became strong
The world died, so did I...

God Defend New Zealand
God of Nations at Thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.
Men of every creed and race,
Gather here before Thy face,
Asking Thee to bless this place,
God defend our free land.
From dissension, envy, hate,
And corruption guard our State,
Make our country good and great,
God defend New Zealand.
Peace, not war, shall be our boast,
But, should foes assail our coast,
Make us then a mighty host,
God defend our free land.
Lord of battles in Thy might,
Put our enemies to flight,
Let our cause be just and right,
God defend New Zealand.
Let our love for Thee increase,
May Thy blessings never cease,
Give us plenty, give us peace,
God defend our free land.
From dishonour and from shame,
Guard our country's spotless name,
Crown her with immortal fame,
God defend New Zealand.
May our mountains ever be
Freedom's ramparts on the sea,
Make us faithful unto Thee,
God defend our free land.
Guide her in the nation's van,
Preaching love and truth to man,
Working out Thy glorious plan,
God defend New Zealand.

Where Nature She Loses Her Temper
The dead are past all cares and sorrows the survivors their life's dreams destroyed
'Tis said that in Nature's moment of anger in Kashmir that thousands of people have died
She leaves behind grief and desolation great buildings toppled to the ground
Where Nature she loses her temper death and destruction to be found.
For our disrespect to Mother Nature there has to be some price to pay
When she flies into fits of anger she flattens everything in her way
Her latest earthquake in Asia proves how destructive she can be
Yet us humans are her benefactors since she feeds all of humanity.
We abuse our marvellous Mother Nature when we pollute her land, rivers and sea
Yet without her we would quickly die of thirst and hunger and none quite so generous as she
And despite her odd fits of bad temper to Humankind she is a friend
And her moods are so very natural since she is not one to pretend.
The dead they are now past all feelings from all cares and sorrows they are gone
And the survivors head for refugee camps and life on the Planet goes on
Where Nature she loses her temper destruction and sorrow are rife
And buildings like pancakes are flattened and there is a huge loss of life.

Disembarkment From The Nature
Love for the nature is always
there in my heart
I am as sensitive as
the nature
I love nature as love as
I love my mother
I am neither a tech savvy
nor development savvy
but I am nature lover at heart
I love shy butterflies
rivers without dams
i love sunsets and sun rises
which we can n't dreamt of
in our concrete jungles
With every new development make
us more insensitive, unkind
and arrogant to the nature
we always thought of above nature
we destroyed forests and building parks
we build the dams destroyed
the sanctity of rivers
we killed butterflies with pollution
and deforestation in the name of development
we lost ourselelves in
the cut throat competition
and globalization
It is not too late
let us start love the nature
let us not sacrifice the nature
on the altar of profits
if nature turns furious
it will wipe out human kind
(Dedicated to the nature lovers and who are in fighting for environment and human rights)

The Mother Nature
The forces of nature
Are so immensely over
What we can expect
The mind to comprehend
At their time they destroy
Plans and actions at bay
Then tough to go back
To the drawing board
To find how we can move on
Without forgetting to mourn
Our already gone families
Swollen by the big earthly bellies
Who can control Mother Nature?
Our forefathers failed to understand
The scientist didn’t recognize
The geologist still trying
To put up a clear logic
But Mother Nature control itself
We cry but no difference
When it is it's time to struck
We are left shaking
Vulnerable and emotionally destroyed
The forces of Mother Nature
No man can match

Day Of Sorrow
Two black jets destroyed
our buildings.
We lost our friends and
our famalies.
It was the day that we
put aside our personal
troubles.
Work side by side to
rebuild our tomorrow.
Not let evil keep us from
working together and
continue with our lives.
Our land is strong, we
fear not evil we will
prevail.
Evil will never win.

Masochism
when you pinch me
i thank you
i feel the pain and it assures me
i am alive
when you say the words too unkind
i reflect and the words confront me like a flood
rushing inside my throat
and i grapple with my hands holding upon life
i am drowning
but not calling for any help
i rise as a survivor
my lungs stronger than before
when you left me
i thought the pain is like an earthquake
intensity 12
i am shaken and some parts of me fell
i thought i am buried on the chasm of extreme loneliness
they say i am beyond recovery
all pieces gone
but i pick them all and piece them all together
torn but not destroyed
i am back as a piece of art
when you come back
you ask me who i am
i told you another name
i am the masochist reconstructed
i was once your lover
and i thank you for everything

Nature's Wet Hands
The flood of Australia,
Of many cars, homes, animals, human beings and other items being washed away!
But, who can dry up nature's wet hands? ! !
Of floating cars and floating houses,
Of floating people and floating animals,
But, who can dry up nature's wet hands?
Of the rescue being taken up but,
Only few are accounted for;
Of Queensland full of many waters,
And of the many properties being destroyed! !
For the flood waters have taken away everything along its way in Queensland.

Nature Destroys Nature
Nature destroys Nature in storms and earthquakes
Man destroys man on the battlefield
And man destroys Nature because of the blood that they shed
Sinks, to the center of the Earth
Man destroys Nature far more worse
Than Nature destroys it’s self
Therefore we must do
What we can
To save Nature
Before it’s completely destroyed
And therefore,
Leaving us with nothing to cherish.

Unplanted Land
Unplanted Land
Things made by man never impressed me, but the fallow land,
where I live, which is going back to nature’s way does impress.
On my walks I see how each plant strive towards the light, one
may say, as man seeks god, but here it is not about being better
or more powerful, it’s just nature. That’s way I see Eifel tower
as a symbol of power, pride and vanity. But in the back of my
mind an unpleasant thought arises: could it be that wars are
a natural cause? Nature’s way of insuring that only the strong
survives? That peace is like fallow land, beautiful but useless?
