My Storyline
The ear hears words as the mouth eats food,
But my ink flows to tell you a story.
A bard's storyline like my storyline,
A film's storyline like my storyline,
With the children of a mixed race amons us like,
The work of the Creator with His creation.
The writer and his words,
The ear hear words as the mouth eats food;
Do the sitting as i do the knitting,
Do the strutting as i do the remitting,
Do the batting as i do the betting,
Do the totting as i do the vetting,
Do the fitting as i do the netting,
Do the spitting as i do the jetting,
Do the spatting as i do the putting,
Do the getting as i do the petting,
Do the letting as i do the twitting,
Do the quitting as i do the potting,
Do the wetting as i do the tatting,
But where there is a will there is hope with the fatting!
Of a bard's storyline like my storyline,
Of a film's storyline like my storyline,
But death comes and there is no where to hide.
Genes are made from DNA,
So do learn about condomise and bedmatics;
With all the problems in this world.
This is my life,
This is my world,
This is my time,
This is my poem,
This is my style,
And our brains can be regarded as collaterals.

The worst storyline I've ever been involved in I wasn't involved in, because I was clever enough to get pregnant with my second child and they wrote me out and they replaced me with Christine Jones. And thank God - that was the worst storyline.

I was moaning and grieving as if I lost one of my own children. It was probably one of the most real feelings I ever had on the show. I was just sitting there wailing with no lines. I was beat after that storyline.

It took some time to gather the research and develop it into the storyline, and to finally finish an origin myth poem that I had been working on for twenty years.

There was a storyline this year where Taylor lied to Brooke. It was supposed to be set up in a way that I was so outraged by her that I let it stay. I thought that was human, which was great.

They do the soaps differently in Mexico. You just have to know the storyline and not memorize the lines. There would be someone feeding you lines while you were performing.

I'm so afraid of mistakes that I made
Taking every time that I wake
I feel like a hard-boiled butter man
So give me a time when the countries will lie on the storyline if kind
Are days are made since the first page
I've lived every line that you wrote

I just love the storyline, I thought it was hilarious - I loved that part when we opened the door, we all look ahead and we have to look down and see that we're actually dealing with this little boy who did this horrible thing of ordering a wife through e-mail.

Come Here My Love
Come here my love
This feeling has me spellbound
Yet the storyline, in paragraphs, laid down the same
In fathoms of my inner mind
Im mystified, oh, by this mood
This melancholy feeling that just dont do no good
Come here my love
And I will lift my spirits high for you
Id like to fly away and spend a day or two
Just contemplating the fields and leaves and talking about nothing
Just layin down in shades of effervescent, effervescent odors
And shades of time and tide
And flowing through
Become enraptured by the sights and sounds in intrigue of natures beauty
Come along with me
And take it all in
Come here my love

Long Lost Daughter
This poem was inspired by a storyline on the TV show 'Casualty', when Colette's long lost daughter found her.
My Mum came to see me at work,
Asking to speak to me urgently.
She had recieved a phone call
From my long lost daughter, Natalie.
Then one day, Natalie turned up at work.
I was taken by surprise:
She was a beautiful young lady now,
And was stood before my very eyes.
I asked my boss for an hour's break.
Natalie and I went for a walk.
We had a lot of catching up to do,
And had a good heart to heart talk.
She asked why I had her adopted
And I had to tell her the truth.
My Mum had told me if I kept her,
I was no longer welcome under her roof.
I was fifteen at the time.
I was alone and very afraid.
Soon after I had her, she was whisked away,
And so it was at home I stayed.
She asked about her father,
But he left me years ago.
When he discovered I was pregnant,
He just didn't want to know.
Sixteen years had passed
Since I gave my little girl away,
But eventhough life carried on,
I thought about her every day.
Only those close to me knew of her existence.
I'd kept her a secret all that time,
But now the time had finally arrived,
To tell the world, Natalie was mine!

Miracle Man
You say you turned your life around
You got it all worked out
You say the search for higher ground
Ain't what your all about.
And still your reaching in the dark
For the one who holds the key
But all your so called heroes
Ain't what they seem to be
And maybe what you wanted
Ain't exactly what you need....
(Chorus)
You can lose your heart a thousand times
Lookin' for your Miracle Man
You can try and change the storyline
Hopin' things will be better then
But when you look to a higher love
To save you where you stand
It's only then you'll find your Miracle Man.
No satisfaction in your world
It's left you all undone
The happiness is in you, girl.
Don't give it up for no one.
You know its time to break down
You know it's time to lose control
And trust the one who loves you
To your heart and soul.
And knowin' that your needed
Is all you need to know......
(2nd Chorus)
(Bridge)
He's not on any corner
It's hard to track him down
You won't find the answer
Walkin' the streets of this town.
Try lookin' inside yourself.
(3rd Chorus)

Come Back To Bed
Still is the life
of your room when you're not in sight
And all of your things
Tell the sweetest storyline
Your tears on these sheets
And your footsteps are down the hall
Tell me what I did
I can't find where the moment went wrong at all
You can be mad in the morning
I'll take back what I said
Just don't leave me alone here
It's cold, baby
Come back to bed, Come back to bed
Come back to bed, Come back to bed
Come on back to bed
What will this fix?
You know you're not a quick forgive
And I wont sleep through this
I survive on the breath you are finished with
You can be mad in the morning
I'll take back what I said
Just dont leave me alone here
It's cold, baby
Come back to bed, Come back to bed
Come back to bed, Come back to bed
You can be mad in the morning
Or the afternoon instead
But don't leave me 98 and 6 degrees of seperation from you, baby
Come back to bed x4
Don't hold your love over my head x5

I Cant Dance To That
Now theres no storyline
Just a real good time
And I dont want to seem to be mistaken
But theres a tale to tell
On this road to hell
Its in between the lines the case Im making
Oh, lord, look my way
Save me from these crazy things I see
I dont know whats going on round here these days
But I cant dance to that
Oh, I cant dance to that
So let me dance to this
cos I cant dance to that
If youll excuse me please
You see I got to go
And take myself before Im past redemption
A voice is calling out
As if I didnt know
This wretched road is paved with good intentions
All the way
Down this judas track
I know it so well
And I aint going back
I dont know what happened to the good time songs
But I cant dance to that
Oh, I cant dance to that
So let me dance to this
cos I cant dance to that
Tell me what you know
Take away these chains
What stood in front of me it looks so pretty
But I cant dance to a cold machine
Oh, lord, and every drummer you know just what I mean
Oh, I cant dance to that
So let me dance to this

Manifest Destiny
Written by jay kay and toby smith
Four hundred years or more
Since you came to crucify
They were taken far away from home
There were promises of paradise
But if they had been told that day
They would be told that this way
To satisfy the souls of chosen man
See I had to look carefully
At the shame of my ancestry
To redefine the storyline again
If I was taken for a day
And shown another day
Every child can learn a different thing
See I tried a million times
But I had to change my mind
Sadness was the best thing I could bring
On the inside he was dead and this is what he said
As he took away the blue above the clouds
Oh, superiority was clearly meant to be
So destiny will manifest in time
So where has all the love gone?
A troubled trail of tears will tell the tale
Of how I was put down where I dont belong
Woman, child and man for sale
For ethical slavery is just an absurdity
How can you be alive when you are dead
With these chains of hipocrisy
The shame of my ancestry
Forever strained in blood in which you tread
(repeat chorus)

Her Desire for 40G
Now back when I was 28,
I met and loved a 38 –
DD!
Hmm…I never really saw her eyes…
Perhaps I never needed to –
‘Twas all about her size.
Come on, be honest,
You really show surprise?
Oh yes, the storyline:
One sunny day she said to me,
‘I need to make you happy, see,
By undergoing surgery
So you can have my guarantee
That when you see my 40G,
You’ll hit new heights of ecstasy! ’
‘Phew! ’ I drew a breath.
‘Well thank you dear, you’re very kind,
But won’t you risk me going blind?
If one of those should catch my eye,
I’m sure to wave them both goodbye;
And after all, you’re rather tall –
With extra weight you’ll likely fall;
Forwards, I should clarify.
Hmm…we’re back again to my poor eye.’
‘It’s all about your precious sight! ’
She screamed at me with all her might,
‘I only want to make you proud
And me to stand out in the crowd.’
‘You do already stand right out!
Any more, then there’s no doubt
You might as well just poke me blind,
So in the streets I’ll tag behind,
Unaware of all the fuss,
Especially when on the bus –
Assuming you could squeeze on board…
Hmm…at least I know I’ll be ignored…
Okay – go get them done.’

Eight Syllables
God's here! It's time! He's back again!
The poem's on its way!
When writing time calls for my pen
As I begin to pray!
'I'm ready, Lord! Inspire me,
Let wisdom lead me now! '
And thus God grants new poetry,
To melt my furrowed brow...
Eight syllables were in my mind!
Then six to follow on...
A leap of faith would help unwind
The twirling lights that shone...
Within those lights were mysteries
And prophecies galore,
In hopes to melt the miseries
That life still holds in store...
The first line penned, the second, too,
The phrases set in time,
Now all I needed was a clue
To match the words in rhyme...
The mind-set locked on only this
And left and right ignored,
To concentrate, not stray amiss,
To wait upon the Lord...
And there it is, the daydream clue,
Eyes open with insight,
Beholding like a TV view
The things I had to write,
The path set out, a forest trail,
To track where it might lead,
As God revealed a brand new tale
To help me to succeed...
Yes, that works well, the verse takes shape,
Another scene appears
And it thrills me in my dreamscape,
With laughter and with tears...
God has a sense of humour, folks!
He's witty and He's wise!
He shares a modern twist on jokes
That takes me by surprise!
The storyline so quickly forms,
From sudden thoughts within,
It's like the heart inside me warms,
My head's still in a spin!
Yes, I've got it! There's the punchline!
My poem's almost done!
Well, praise the Lord! It's worked out fine!
My word, Lord! That was fun!

Ongoing Storyline
Karma and Reincarnation, wonderful, so much
experienced and accomplished when exploring
and living life from various perspectives, karma
translates energy from lifetime to lifetime in an
ongoing storyline, fusing several lives together
through transition material creating a structure
that has long-term sense
My experience does not agree with the theories
and ideas of religion and fiction, being human is
a limiting experience for a spirit who knows it is
filled with love and connected to the universe,
yet cannot feel or explain it, life has meaning
as a series of signpost events with issues to
solve and lessons to learn
In a progression that derives sense from the
perspective of highest purpose; I love such
moments of sparkling insight that transcend
physical reality & gain access to a different
realm of heightened consciousness which
is pure bliss; existential crisis is infinitely
valuable to reveal these jewels
By blowing the chaff of human experience
away: when I feel so ill I cannot read or
think and nothing makes sense, only
theories on karma and reincarnation
remain valid and uplifting - while the
world and intellectualism lose all
its power to touch my mind
