God's Test Over Time
that which comes from God endures
that which comes from man perishes
this is the acid test of enduring time

Black rain falling on me
Black rain is all that I see
Black rain colours the sand
Too fast I don't understand
False prophets talking about our life our destiny
Rain forest still alive sounds like a joke an irony
The air smells dirty we can all see pollution
To heal the world is not a game or an illusion
We see the world hunger not enough to eat
We close our eyes walking through the lonely streets
Strange disease there's nothing there's no cure
Cancer aids and much more we know for sure

Of Image. And Not Substance
We were hired to clean this house,
But where are all the supplies to do it?
'The last occupants,
Took everything.
Including the kitchen sink.

Accepting To Protect False Beliefs
The telling of lies told and sold,
To deny in a hiding of one's insecurities...
Does not prevent,
An increasing mental instability...
As witnessed by those,
Not only experiencing buyer's remorse...
But shows the ones who have lied,
Responsible for much that has gone...
Misunderstood most of their lives,
While fighting against denials.

There is no way of escaping,

Do not believe in all spirits;
Find out if they have come from God;
False prophets have come to the world;

He showed me heights I'd never seen
and the climb was ecstasy.
He showed me lows from absences
that took its toll on me.
He showed me the sun, the moon and stars
and the sight was heavenly.

And what brave life it was we lived that tide,
Lived, or essayed to live--for who shall say
Youth garners aught but its own dreams denied,

High prophets were we of the uncultured lay,
Supremely scorning all that to our pride
Seemed less than truth. Be truth the thing it may,
