Maid

A certain maid saw you by the fire side yesterday and,
The foreknowledge of your love was known;
But like the days of Herod the king,
The fruit of the voice of love is closer to you.

The Builder's Son

'Is not this the builder's son? ! '
Said King Herod the Tetrarch;
But the jewels of the crown is all because of Herodias.

Of the prisoners of hope,
Let your light so shine in the wilderness of Yahweh!
For the builder's son is the teacher for us all.

Of Archelaus son of King Herod,
Like the message to the child and his mother;
But the name of wisdom is in the wilderness of love.

From Egypt i have callled my son like,
In the days of King Herod;
But the Wise Men from the East have more to teach us.

Of the builder's son,
Like the four generations of hope;
But the fall of Babylon is like the acts of Zerrubabel!

Life is like the Megiddo Valley,
But i am like the fire among the woods!
With my hope of sincere love to share with the prisoners.

Half The Man

yesterday i was half the man i used to be
maybe that's because you're the other half of me
like the spring in bloom
the summer of our love is soon
every bird will sing
the melody of our love tune

sent down from above
unconditionally love
likened to a flower
stronger love grows by the hour
stormy weather days
make us go our separate ways
where our love was so at ease
now you got me down on my knees

yesterday i was
brighter than the morning sun
now my love is lost
and lonely days have just begun
a solitary chair
for a silent love affair
a king has lost his throne
and now he sits alone

The Three Magi

Three wise men came from east;
They were the three Magi!
They’ad seen a star anew-
‘The Star of Bethlehem! ’
A king was born, they knew.

By camel-back, they rode;
On the way, they met King Herod;
They gave the news to him;
Herod desired to see
The boy born recently!

The Magi left Herod,
Resuming their journey;
The Star led them for miles,
And stood o’er a manger,
In which there was the babe!

They entered the stable,
And saw the divine child;
They offered gifts of gold,
Frankincense and too myrrh,
Adoring the boy king.

The boy was named Jesus;
He brought peace, joy to earth;
He was the Son of God,
And Savior of mankind-
‘The Lamb of God, born man! ’

The Magi then returned
By yet another route,
Warned by angel of God,
As Herod wished to kill
The new-born baby King.

I Hear

(diana ross/stan scates)
What is this i hear
Falling softly in my ears
Quietly telling me to wipe away my tears
Yesterdays are gone
And love has cleared the way
No matter who you are
You can touch the stars
Life's interactions can make you smile
Just listen to the voice in your heart
The voice is near you, it's never too far
The voice is with you, where ever you are
It's closer than close, calling to your heart
I hear the voice of love
I hear the voice of love
The voice will never leave you
It lives deep down inside
It's calling you, asking you
To open up your heart
All things are achievable
Nothing is impossible
You can reach your highest high
You can make it if you try
Life's interactions can make you smile
Just listen to the voice in your heart
The voice is near you, it's never too far
The voice is with you, where ever you are
It's closer than close, calling to your heart
I hear the voice of love
I hear the voice of love
Follow where it leads you in the dark
The voice will guide your heart
The voice is always near
I hear the voice, i found the voice
From the mountains to the sea
The voice of love is calling me
Where ever you are, the voice is near you
It's never too far, the voice is with you
I hear the voice of love
I hear the voice of love
I hear the voice of love

A Fairytale

Once upon a time, there was a prince
Groomed, grand, and great than the younger prince
Like a fairy tale, a lovely maid!
A pariah! On mats with rats she laid

Like a fairy tale the prince and maid met
Surely, their hearts thundered aloud; I bet
But the young envied the elder so much
He snitched to the king the prince with no match

Wretched was the young, the king abstained him!
So, the younger raised his wit with grim
To an apple! The young thawed a bane,
For through it, the maiden he will gain!

The prince took the fruit and was ill and died!
King, queen, and maid mourned the prince side by side
Nearby, the younger was laughing so loud1
Flaunting his lunacy behind the crowd

Like a fairy tale, burial day's come
The day was dusk, bewailing, and calm
The grave blocked with florets, men, and bells
Day died, men mourned and death sings with bells

Like a fairy tale, the maid kissed the prince
But behold! He moved! Alive is the prince!
The day is glowing, rejoicing, and tense!
Truth spilled! King arrested the younger prince!

Truly wild is the manor! All rejoiced! From serf to the crown!
Like a fairy tale, there was a wedding! Happy night was clown!
Sweet kiss! Love filled the air with madrigal of a nightingale
And they live happily ever after-like a fairy tale!

A Man Needs A Maid

My life is changing in so many ways
I dont know who to trust anymore
Theres a shadow running thru my days
Like a beggar going from door to door.
I was thinking that maybe Id get a maid
Find a place nearby for her to stay.
Just someone to keep my house clean,
Fix my meals and go away.
A maid. a man needs a maid.
A maid.
Its hard to make that change
When life and love turns strange.
And old.
To give a love, you gotta live a love.
To live a love, you gotta be part of
When will I see you again?
A while ago somewhere I dont know when
I was watching a movie with a friend.
I fell in love with the actress.
She was playing a part that I could understand.
A maid. a man needs a maid.
A maid.
When will I see you again?

A Man & A Woman

And the band began to play, without a song theyd lose their way
A song of love and custom dreams, a song of yesterday
When they danced, when they danced, her skirts were lifted high
She felt the music in his arms, the danger in his eyes
And a woman said no, and a man said but I love you so
And a woman moved closer, and a man said take my love into your heart
I must have you here by my side
It happened all too fast, they came to love and they came to last
No-one remembers now who lied, true love is made of glass
And a woman said change, and a man said as soon as I can
And a woman said open up, and a man said
Your ways right, youre my love, I wont be holdin you down
In the evening of their lives, no regrets and clear blue skies
They meet again in old new york, he tells her one sweet lie
And they danced and they danced, and a man said I love you so
And a woman moved closer, and a man said take my love into your heart
I must have you here by my side

Lamb Of God

Spoken:
After jesus was born in bethlehem in judea
During the time of king herod
Wise men from de east came to jerusalem and asked
Where is the one who is born king of the jews?
We saw his star in the east and we have come to worship him
Lord we have traveled far
Torn and weary guided by your star
There before us the living king
Halleluiah his praises sing
Herod with a evil plan
Kill the babies
Came his bold command
He tried to alter gods holy plan
God has saved him
The son of man
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The chosen one of god
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of love
The chosen one of god
Three kings from a distance come
Bearing gifts for the only one
Shout to heaven sound the drum
Tell the nations
The lord has come
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The chosen one of god
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of love
The chosen one of god
He came to bring us his peace
He came to bring us his joy
To bring us love
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The chosen one of god
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The precious lamb of god
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The chosen one of god
Spoken:
And so the wise men the shepherds
The ox and the lamb
The angels above
All rejoiced at gods command
As a star shine from heaven
This new king to adorn
On that very first christmas
When jesus christ was born

A Wedding Vow

To think of how much I love you
and put them in simple lines for everyone to hear.
To be before you and thinking of how to say it,
to say it in any other way is the hardest thing I ever had to do.
Loving you is easy, living with you is easy, being your friend is easy.
To put my actions into words and add in all my feelings about you;
it would take forever to describe.
I will try now, and know it still won't do it justice.
I fell in love with you almost instantaneously when we met,
and that love has grown exponentially as the days passed.
It brought me closer to who you are and showed me who I am.
I thank you for everything, for being by my side on the worst days.
On the hardest
On the saddest
On the best
You've been by my side
I'll be by yours forever
That is what I promise you
To be by your side to love and support you on and after death
I will never leave you without the intention of returning.
Or, its basically what I've been doing this whole time.
So, I love you!

Far, Far Away

Don gibson
Far, far away is my love of yesterday
Shes gone, gone, gone, gone, from me, from me
Far, far away is my life, my love my way
Wonder where, where, where, where
Where oh where can she be?
Days, endless days nights, dark dismay
Lonely, Im lonely where can she be?
Far, far away is my love of yesterday
Wonder where, where, where, where where
Oh where can she be?
Far, far away is my love of yesterday
Wonder where, where, where, where where
Oh where can she be?
Where where, where, where, where where
Oh where can she be?

With Every Beat Of My Heart (7" Version)

(Tommy Faragher, Lotti Golden, Arthur Baker)
I keep getting closer
To the love I know
I'm ready and willing
Getting out of control
You win and you lose some
But if you stay in the game
Before you know it
You'll feel the fire
But don't get burned by the flame
You'll find the answer any day
With every beat of my heart
I keep getting closer to you
With every beat of my heart now
I know we're getting closer
To love with every beat
I just wanna know you
More every day
And now it won't be long
Till I hear you say (say it, say it)
Say that you do boy
It's just a matter of time
Before you know it
You'll feel the fire
And it's burning deep inside
You'll find the answer
In his eyes
With every beat of my heart
I keep getting closer to you
With every beat of my heart now
I know we're getting closer to love
With every beat of my heart
I feel you moving closer to me, oh
With every beat of my heart
Baby I know it's becoming reality
With every beat

Move Closer

Hey' baby
You go your way
And I'll go mine
But in the meantime
Move closer
When we're together
Touching each other
And our bodies
Do what we feel
When we're dancing
Smooching and swaying
Tender love song
Softly playing
Move closer (move closer)
Move your body' real close until we
Feel like we're making love
Get closer
So when I say sugar
And I whisper i love vou (I love you)
Well I know you're gonna answer
in the sweetest voice yeah my sexy baby
I love you too
There's much room for passion, oh no, no
There no room for fears
When the love flows smoothly between us
my dear
Oh move closer baby
Come here girl
Let me hold you
You feel so good to me woman
Move closer) Let's get closer
(Let's get closer) Gonna make sweet love to you
Honey get beside me
And let me love you
My baby, baby, baby
I love you
So baby won't yoy
Move closer (move closer)
Why don't you move your body real close
Until we feeI like we're really' making sweet, sweet,
sweet, sweet, sweet love
Move closer (move closer)
So why don't you take me to heaven
Oh baby, to heaven, yeah
Let's take our time and do it right
Be going all night, yeah
It's gonna be a long night

Sunny

Sunny,
Yesterday my life was filled with rain.
Sunny,
You smiled at me and really eased the pain.
The dark days are gone,
And the bright days are here,
My Sunny one shines so sincere.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
Sunny,
Thank you for the sunshine bouquet.
Sunny,
Thank you for the love you brought my way.
You gave to me your all and all.
Now I feel ten feet tall.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
Sunny, thank you for the truth you let me see.
Sunny, thank you for the facts from A to C.
My life was torn like a windblown sand,
And the rock was formed when you held my hand.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
Sunny
Sunny,
Thank you for the smile upon your face.
Sunny,
Thank you for the gleam that shows its grace.
You're my spark of nature's fire,
You're my sweet complete desire.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
Sunny,
Yesterday my life was filled with rain.
Sunny,
You smiled at me and really eased the pain.
The dark days are gone,
And the bright days are here,
My Sunny one shines so sincere.
Sunny one so true,
I love you.
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you

Closer 2 U

I'm gonna get closer to you
Come closer!
I'm gonna get closer to you
Come closer!
I see you watching me boy
Like I've been watching you and
I think it's time that we get down
We're talking big attraction
We're talking interaction
I think it's time that we get down
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can give you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can bring you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
Closer to you
I'll take you on a journey
You'll see that there's no turning back
Just need a chance and we'll get down
It's time for stimulation
When we're in isolation
I'll make you feel up if you're down
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can give you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can bring you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
Come closer and closer still
Closer you make me thrill
Moving your body next to mine
Come closer and closer still
Closer you make me thrill
Closer I'll make you feel divine
Closer to you!
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can give you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
Get closer to you now baby
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can bring you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
Oh baby, baby baby baby
I'm gonna get closer to you
(Closer to you now)
Show you all that love can bring you
(Closer to you now)
I'm gonna get closer to you now
Whenever you are near
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can give you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can bring you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
I'm gonna get closer to you
Show you all the love can give you
I'm gonna get closer to you now
Only, only you!
I'm gonna get closer to you
(Closer to you now)
Show you all that love can bring you
(Closer to you now)
I'm gonna get closer to you now
Come closer !

More Today Than Yesterday

I dont remember what day it was
I didnt notice what time it was
All I know is that I fell in love with you
And if all my dreams come true
Ill be spending time with you
Every days a new day in love with you
With each day comes a new way of loving you
Every time I kiss your lips my mind starts to wonder
And if all my dreams come true
Ill be spending time with you
Oh I love you more today than yesterday
But not as much as tomorrow
Oh I love you more today than yesterday
But darling not as much as tomorrow
Tommorrow makes each springtime just a day away
Cupid we dont need you now be on your way
I thank the lord for love like ours that grows ever stronger
And I always will be true
Ill be spending time with you
Oh I love you more today than yesterday
But not as much as tomorrow
Oh I love you more today than yesterday
But darling not as much as tomorrow
Every days a new day, every time I love ya
Every times a new way, every time I love ya...
Very days a new day, every time I love ya
Every times a new way, every time I love ya...
Every time I love ya...

Today i tell her

I stand on the side lines as another yesterday goes by
thinking that i will tell her profess my love today and fly in the sky
I shout to the heavens in my solitude who i love
yet i keep this dove
dove of love in this cage and i won't let it fly
i can't let these feelings out lest she not feel the same and i die
does that i mean i don't love her enough to take the risk
someone tell me please not with a song nor a disk
tell me through a comment
i need some help if i want correct deportment
My sweet i need you and one yesterday will be the day
that you say yes or no and i say ok
but thats where my life changes one yesterday we will kiss
and the snake that devil won't be around to hiss!

Early Works - Man Of Yesterday

People call me romantic
because of what I write
but they don’t really know
that the romance in my life
is nothing but a memory
in the flickering flames of a fire light.

I’m a man of yesterday
living in the world of today
trying to catch the past
caught in the eye of my memory,
and whose tomorrows
are only filled with dreams of yesterday.

I’m a man of the shadows
where the real world doesn’t lie
where faces no longer seen
seem vivid as commonplace
that they haunt my waking days
and my dream filled nights.

Tomorrow never comes to me
only days before yesterday
when once again I’m in love
with a dream never to be.
Why am I tormented over yesterday
the answer eludes even me.

The Sun, The Moon And Stars

Ah-ooh, ah-ah-ooh, ah-ah-ooh, ah-ah-oh-ooh {2x}
It's late and i'm running out of clever things 2 say
The kind that will bring a girl like u 2 tears
There's only one more glass of this ros
Let's throw it on the fire with our past
And dance the night away until...
The sun, the moon and stars
Don't seem as far as they did yesterday
The sun, the moon and stars
In love we r - 4ever, always
It's late and i think it's about time 4 u and me 2 get closer...
2 get closer than we ever did before (ooh)
Whenever there's a tide u can let it ride inside your interior
Lay back, relax upon my shore (ooh)
Ooh-ooh baby, i wanna make love 2 u right here
One inside the other one - no fear, we're here until...
The sun, the moon and stars
Don't seem as far as they did yesterday
The sun, the moon and stars
In love we r - 4ever, always
Blow out this candle sunlight
And come lay down next 2 me
And paint another rainbow - ooh-wee (ooh-wee)
Eclipse this light with extasy
[...]
Come on, come on
Let's lay down
I'm walking out of what to say
That kind of lucky rhyme
Make a chippy wanna say:
whisper in the belly
2 me rocking ros?
Do u like i do
Come on and dance the night away
Let's lay before they get to close the door
U and me, we got 2 get down on the floor
Come on, let the tide ride in and off the shore
I wanna love u once again - and then some more
Lay your head back i got my hand behind your head
Like u do the limbo supple on the bouncy bed
Let's bouncing on the summer spring
And when u start 2 fall
U come like a cold winter due in montreal
(come on baby)
(the sun, the moon and stars) - hey-hey, hey-hey
(the tide ride) - hey-hey, hoo-hoo
(the tide ride - hou)
The sun, the moon and stars
Don't seem as far as they did yesterday
The sun, the moon and stars
In love we r - 4ever, always
The sun, the moon and stars
Don't seem as far as they did yesterday
The sun, the moon and stars
In love we r - 4ever, always
