Where Does God Live?

The earth sings a song to me
So I can listen and hope to be
One who cares about each new flower
That graces the ground it grows upon
And comes alive with each new dawn?

The earth speaks a poem to me
So I can listen expectantly
For the words that give the earth its praise
As it tries its best to provide for us all
Through winter, spring, summer and fall?

The earth paints a picture for me
So I can see its colors vibrantly?
For the majestic sights that come alive
Capture the grandeur of artistic delight,
So I can never forget what was in my sight.

The best remedy for a bruised heart is not, as so many people seem to think, repose upon a manly bosom. Much more efficacious are honest work, physical activity, and sudden acquisition of wealth.

Vaporous

I would like to learn how stars scream
with scintillating swords and sing
with the same fatal stroke

I would like to learn how the sun goes alone
loftily sundered amongst other quasars
burning passionately for no one

I would like to learn how clouds come and go
maladroitly reconnoitering the weather
and evanesce without a thought

I would like to know how the moon shifts
and still regain her stalwart repose
amidst her inconsistencies

Learn

when broken
learn
when happy
learn
when bored
learn
when you float and does not know what to do
learn just the same
when filled with idealism
learn
when fed with what you cannot swallow
learn again
when the times get rough and you want to kill yourself
learn, learn, learn
you still have many things to learn
faces of life
bodies of life
learn, learn, learn everything
do not surrender

for in truth, you do not do what you only want
you will also do what you are told to do
no questions asked
or you will be left out
or you will be not a part of the picture
this life
learn, learn, learn, always learn
do not surrender
live, learn, live, learn
you will soon do all that others will tell you
learn, learn and learn again

and sooner you will have learned everything
and then do what you want to do
with firm conviction
you know now what is right
and that is what you will do,

now without even being told
you have become yourself

but still learn, learn, and learn again
because

you might be wrong,
try thinking some more, learn
relearn, learn, learn, learn, forevermore....

Alive Again

All alone
I must stand
Even when im running
And it feels
Like a dream
I need to awaken from
I believe
When it hurts
We must keep trying
But I want
And I need
Like a river needs the rain
Theres a bridge I need to burn before I leave
I just wanna breathe again
Like a summer day I need to feel the heat again
I only wanna keep the stone from rolling
I only wanna learn to feel the rain
Then maybe I could stop the leaves from falling
I only wanna learn to freeze the flame
I know ill be alive again
I wanna be alive again
Heres the night
Wheres the stars
coz I need some guiding
And it cuts
Like a knife
As I watch you walk away
Theres a bridge I need to burn before I leave
I just wanna breathe again
Like a summer day I need to feel the heat again
I only wanna keep the stone from rolling
I only wanna learn to feel the rain
Then maybe I could stop the leaves from falling
I only wanna learn to freeze the flame
I know ill be alive again
I wanna be alive again
I wanna be alive again
coz I did my best
Baby whod have guessed
That ive failed the test
coz when love aint best
And its laid to rest
It can leave a mess
I only wanna keep the stone from rolling
I only wanna learn to feel the rain
Then maybe I could stop the leaves from falling
I only wanna learn to freeze the flame
I know ill be alive again
I wanna be alive again

We really teach ourselves. If you want to learn, you will always find someone to learn from, be they dead or alive, great or unknown. You learn from everything you see and hear around you - if you are willing to pay attention.

In The Midst Of Nowhere

i am in the midst of nowhere
lost
hunting what it is to be found
empty
searching for the right soul to love
lonely
i am in the midst of nowhere
gone
my imagination's haunting me
terrified
he's protecting me not
alone
i am in the midst of nowhere
smiling
sparkling emerald and sapphire crystal dews touch my skin
relieved
i'm refreshed in the midst of nowhere

I learn

I learn when I teach others
I learn when I listen
I learn when I read
I learn from children

I learn from animals
I learn from nature
I learn how to breathe
I learn how to live
I learn how to love
I learn how to be a human being

I'm always learning ...

On The Silent Wings Of Freedom

On the silent wings of freedom
Where I ofer myself midst the balancing of the sun
On the winds of celestial seasons
That would carry me on, midst the balance of being one
On the dream of our love eternal
That will eventually bring our living once more with you
Where we are coming from
Or where we go
We only know e come with sound
Where we are coming from
Or where we go
We only know we go around and around
On the back of your forty-second screamdown
Do you choose to be lost midst the challenge of being one
On the flight of regardless feelings
As you hurtle to fear midst the challenge of everyone
On the darkest night so painful
Do you hunger for love midst the torture of being one
On the passing light of easing
Have you seen you inside midst the being of everyone
To the common goal of freedom
Where we offer ourselves midst the balancing of the sun
Where we are coming froom
Or where we go
We only know we come with sound
Where we are coming from
Or where we go
We only know we go around and around

Absent From Their Bashing

Absent from their bashing.
And this they miss.
A familiar target,
Has vanished from their midst.

With a freshness from their rumor mill,
Sitting to dust from an activity that had existed.
And fear they do...
A collapse of strength once kept intact by it.

Absent from their bashing.
And this they miss.
And fear they do...
A collapse of strength once kept intact by it.

A familiar target,
Has vanished from their midst.
And upset they are...
As witnessed by their silent lips.

It Is There

It is there!
In the midst,
And is waiting.

Wanting with intent,
To have it all.
And not just a piece.

It is there!
In the midst,
And is waiting.

Submit,
That's it.
That's all It wishes.
For total and complete honesty.
Not something selected as suggested to pick.
And decide with this to leave as an appeasement.
As if It would not know,
How shallow one's soul.

It wishes to bestow upon you happiness and gifts.
But wanting first your loyalty,
Is what 'It' insists.

It is there!
In the midst,
And is waiting.

Forever there is eternity!
And in the midst of it,
It sits as 'Is'.

And in this midst of this that 'Is'...
Is The Creator.
Waiting with wishes to just have us believe!

Traced Back To Pre-Diluvium Times

In perfect Mary-Poppins style
decided on rum punch for
breakfast, being at work,
I could not

Had to be content with rum
chocolate instead, it was
so old, no trace of rum
in the taste

But ate it all the same, now
this cold-spell day appeals
in a lovely new way, I feel
vibrantly alive

Already catered to the
needs of the one-eyed
Cyclopian Troll Interpol,
now only

A request for a certificate
of death; life feels great
filtered through the hue
of the lovely

Chocolate flavoured with
rum - even though it can
be traced back to pre-
diluvium times!
