I Saw His Face!

It was him! !
On the 23rd of September 2012;
And, i saw the face of a man.

I saw his face!
On a T.V. Screen which was already switched off! !
In my parents-in-law's sitting room.

I just entered the room and,
I saw dirty marks on the T.V. Screen;
And this gave the exact image of his face!
Oh yes, i saw the face of a man wearing eyeglasses,
The exact image of him.

It was him! !
I saw his face;
On a T.V. Screen which was already switched off!
With his eyeglasses on,
On the 23rd of September 2012;
And, this reminded me of the other face of a man i saw in the sky! !
But, that one was on the 26th of August 2012.

The Image Of A Man's Face

Walking along the bush on the 26th of August 2012,
Then came the dark clouds in the sky!
Oh, what will come up next? ! !
Suddenly, came the rainfall;
Shortly after came the rainbow.
I looked at it and,
It suddenly went down very slowly and it disappeared!
Oh, what will come up next? ! !
Then, i saqw the image of a man's face up high in the sky!
Yes, the white clouds gave me this image;
With a very large ring over his head.

Ah late Grandma Is Back

last night late grandma showed her face
on the screen of my mind

perhaps that's her way to say
she had received the merits sent her
from the supplications
at the Mahavira buddhist temple

the temple where new year candles flicker
in little red cuplets filled with oil
through the night on festive occasions

on grandma's face is a spirituality
i had never seen before
she looked a different person
after so many years, she has been to somewhere
and yes she has put on weight

like before not a word was spoken
but who needs words when one's face itself
can tell a story more profound than a thousand words

who needs those lengthy descriptions when a mere look
at a face is able to show us the spirituality of another realm,

and hers tells me the spirituality she has imbibed is thicker
than the one i am in
sure she has been to places all these nine years or so

you know through her ace there is a religion somewhere
governing us all, a spirituality that carries us through
each realm, each day

a God can be seen through the face of those
who have journeyed into eternity
if you have the blessings to have them back to you
for a split second or two, right on the screen of your mind

a spirit keen to share with us the graces they have imbibed
since the day they left, a holiness no words can tell
a face treasured for the all the stories it can tell
without the need of words

The face of God

He carved my face in his effigy,
But so did he yours, and everybody else',
Probably seen him a thousand times,
I know he is looking at me now,
I feel his presence yet his face I neither see nor touch,
I seen his shadow though- only a torso,
Haunts me every time I look at mirrors, still waters,
I hear his voice, his face it describes, I still want to see him...
I gather polaroids of every being on earth and beyond,
Erect a decoupage of his supposedly image,
Does it look like me? Like you? Like every human? I cannot tell,
I cannot see it for my vision suddenly blurry,
Though not as radiant as I thought It be- atleast it smiles,
A man without a face, the face of God.

A Face With A Difference

I see somewhere around me
A face with a difference.
I see a face that`s not set on my face.
Its lips don`t kiss mine.
Its breath doesn`t feel mine
But I continue to see that face with a difference.
In the midst of faces that smile and sack
This is a different face indeed.

When I draw a picture of a face
I shall consider this one indeed.
This face has a thousand reflections
And in the twilight of my evening
I shall cherish this one face ever and ever.
In the corridors of my future unwoven
I shall chase this face henceforth.

My eyes see the difference
And that face begins to merge with mine.
My face turns upward to see
The things brighter and shapely.

you and your face
you and your many faces
i never clarify your other face
because you build a siege
with your many faces
your many faces have a heart of liar
little facet of your tricky mind

your face not to be someone's follower
your face to be the queen of yourself

Entertainment Overload!

I've got programmes on my Sky box
And on my TiVo, too...
And every series I think rocks,
Is stored on my Freeview...
Catchup TV is on the go,
Pick channel, time and place
And with the news, I'm in the know,
Till I'm blue in the face!

Sometimes I sleep, I just nod off,
Some shut eye then occurs,
But when I wake, I've slept enough
And clear my eyes from blurs!
I check the EPG What's On
And choose a show to watch
And yet as soon as it has gone,
I check a different box...

I hate those logos on the screen,
Voiceovers at the end,
As they're the worst I've heard or seen,
They drive me round the bend!
I've given up on videos,
I've switched to DVDs,
I buy in bulk, record my shows,
Then play them when I please!

I hate the TV licence yet
It's cheaper than the fine!
A thousand pounds! I'll not forget!
That scares like Frankenstein!
There's no point having holidays,
Because they don't make sense,
I'm entertained so many ways...
Despite the vast expense!
