Hyperbolic
The actor!
His greater mentor;
The actress!
Her greator mentor;
With critics and the hyperbolic of things,
But this satirical case is always seen around us.
Trained from oral history,
Trained from oral works,
And like the beauty of love plus the act of peace;
With critics and the hyerbolic of the things around us today,
But, my sweet mind will lead me on always.

Habits are comforts
To listen to the tunes that
Your ears are trained on,
To look at things that
Your eyes are trained on,
And to tread the way that
Your feet are trained in
Will appear sweet to you.
Habits bring comfort zones.

I was trained in the '50s as a New Critic. I remember what literature was like before the New Critics, when people stood up and talked about Shelley's soul and such things.

All The Critics Love U In New York
U can dance if U want 2
All the critics love U in New York
U don't have 2 keep the beat
They'll still think it's neat in New York
U can wear what U want 2
It doesn't matter in New York
U could cut off all your hair
I don't think they'd care in New York
All the critics love U in New York
Why U can play what U want 2
All the critics love U in New York
They won't say that U're naive
If U play what U believe in New York
Purple love-amour is all U're in it 4
But don't show it
The reason that U're cool
Is cuz U're from the old school and they know it
All the critics love U in New York
U can dance if U want 2
All the critics love U in New York
U can dance if U want 2
All the critics love U in New York
All the critics love U

May I Have Another Helping of Those Delicious Critics, Please?
What do I have to say,
To those who are my critics?
I have been aware of them,
Since I began taking my first steps.
Since my first breath taken...
Was done independently.
I've heard it said,
My lifetime of actions...
By them has been disapproved.
And things I do have been ego led.
It's believed what I do,
Is done to seek attention.
Even those things I do to cleanse,
In privacy...
I care not mention.
We all have talents,
And those gifts that are given.
How I use the ones I have...
Aren't from a critic's invention.
Or maybe because of the creation of 'them'.
Who knows?
Perhaps that's what has them upset.
And if they have time like that to waste...
Don't hesitate in delay to say,
I am just getting started.
And what I've given to them to nibble...
Is just a little taste.
From a baking not completed,
Yet imaginations rate!
They have no idea,
Of who I am!
Or the making of 'me'.
And-what-that-takes!
Since I'm the cooker who does the feeding...
I know who eats!
And those served,
That ate.
Those who choose to regurgitate...
Do it without my decision given to make!
What do I have to say,
To those who are my critics?
I do admire their efforts,
But...
What's there is there for them to digest.
I'm not about to give up my peace,
Or my mind for them to test.
My eyes are clear,
And focused on my progress.
Not on things that I've done.
For purposes to keep manifested,
The days I spent in my youth...
Doing things to shock and stun,
Just for the 'hell' of having devilish fun.
Although I must admit,
There is 'something' about controversy...
That appetites my palate much more than just a bit.
'Excuse me...
I know I shouldn't.
Since I am here by invitation.
But,
May I have another helping of those delicious critics,
Please?
I can not believe they could be this delicious.
What have these critics been mixed with? '

Actress
Some day I'm going to grow up
And be every man's dream
Some day I'm going to grow up
And forget this sad little me
I'm going to shine in the spotlight
Wear sexy clothes
Be somebody everybody wants to meet
And no one ever really knows
No one will ever know me
I'm an actress through and through
And to my bones
I'm an actress through and through
And to my bones
Critics will adore me
At least they will at first
But you see I already know this
So it can't never really hurt
And if it does, I'm an actress
I'll play it nonchalant
In the total scheme of things it's insignificant
(sure I can take the knocks)
Cause I'm an actress through and through
And to my bones
I'm an actress through and through
And to my bones
I may not be that pretty now
But who's the referee
Standards of beauty
Will be redefined because of me
And then they'll be the scandals
Everywhere my name
Men will jump from balconies
And I'll just shrug and take the blame
(yeah, they'll say I died for love)
Cause I'm an actress through and through
And to my bones
Well, I'm an actress through and through
And to my bones
My acceptance speech will be a milestone
Never will such a star
Have ever graced the microphone
And of course I'll thank my agent
The way they always do
Though I could have done it without him
And that goes for the Academy too
And the makeup people and the lighting designers and everybody else
Cause I'm an actress throughand through
And to my bones
I'm an actress through and through
And to my bones
I'm an actress yeah, yeah, yeah
I'll be gracious to the lesser stars
And generous to the unknowns
And if another actress threatens
My position on the throne
Well, I don't know exactly what I'll do
I don't exactly know
But I know that it could turn into
One of my most poignant roles
Everyone will have their handkerchiefs out
And they'll have to leave the theater early
And then they'll go home
And what'll they do?
They'll have a big glass of alcohol
Cause I'm an actress through and through
And to my bones
And if I make it to the top I won't be overthrown
I'm an actress ah, yeah, yeah

Be my Mentor
I am going to have a shower and shave
Then I want to be your personal slave
To kiss and cuddle hug and hold
Also take care of the household
It is very hard you will have a lot of responsibility
To take control of me to the best of your ability
Tell me what you want what you really wish for
You will have to guide me show me be my mentor
I really do not mind being told what to do
As long as I can give all my love to you
The rest is easy daily chores and things
And answering the door when the bell rings

Ship Sailing Acquiesce
We take no time to make any sense of what we choose to say,
Our Oral courtships are fragrance we cast away,
We speak only of things gone past, but not about today
Oral courtship what’s the point today
We sail ourselves home, On a Mercedes Benz
Stepping over those in need, no one’s in your way pretend;
But then we’ll argue about the plaque that obstructs your way....
You missed the boat of acquiesce that came your way
Create your own virtue and then complain, as none came your way
When no-one took heed of your master plan
We as good people don’t shake the hand of greed
What has been is an a glass turn the top rewind the past
But the ship sailing Acquiesce carried passed you way
As your greed is your life, live it, but don’t be asking us the way,
When you lose you footing and glance back our way

I criticize those critics. The reason being that they're doing one of the worst things that ever can be done to an actor, which is to say, Look, you do what we like you to do or else.

Priyanthie
She's the one that i saw in the bush afar off and now,
I am her mentor on this side of the river.
Like the apple tree of love that bears the friuts of love,
I am her mentor and i have to do a lot for her.
She is called Priyanthie and,
She is the one who wants my guide on this side of the river;
And as her mentor, i have to guide her and help her.

Abu
Put your lovely arms around me and,
Kiss me all over my sweet one!
And like ten donkeys loaded with the best things of Egypt,
You are mine forever on this sweet world between us.
Now put your right hand on my head and,
Kiss me all over again and again!
For my love is for you only like,
The boiling point of water melting an ice.
My love is flowing with milk and honey,
The very liquid for you my love!
So lift up your eyes and look,
For i am always ready for your sweet love.
Abu, i am a woman of peace and love;
And well trained by my parents to care for you.
So come and stay with me my love and,
Let us live forever and ever on this sweet muse of love.

Three Principles for Success
In the old days
when I was a nobody
I needed a mentor
in order to groom me into success
into self-actualisation and to bring
all my dreams into reality
and so I found a mentor
and I learned of him the 3 principles
to success and complete achievement
And yes, since you ask,
I shall pass on to you the 3 principles
that my mentor had learned from someone before:
PRINCIPLE 1
Know what you want
PRINCIPLE 2
Never tell them all that you know

Wide World of Intellectual Iliteracy-WWII
Slavery Institutionalized Slavery
You didn’t take me away from aplace
You extricated me from a sacred space Me
You developed and trained mu mind
To blend in with your kind
To put you in the fore front
And leave myself behind
My mind was open to assimilation
And closed to self-realization
Education was the agent of control
Substituting society for my soul
An act of self-suicide for the good of the whole
Was it not the great minds of our times that sanctioned
Self hatred
Made the truth oblique
Made education a conditioning process
To obliterate being unique
Seek a role model, seek a hero
Don’t seek being yourself, you are a zero
If education is the answer
It has a function similar to cancer
Americanization another appellation for education
Mind control, behavioral modification
Violence is a form of militaristic communication
I’m a clone, a mere cheap imitation
If I kill it’s because I’m trained
If I hate it’s because I’m trained
If I steal it’s because I’m trained
I don’t know who I am but because I am trained
I Am A Professional

Isong
You broke my virginity and i broke yours,
All in the name of lust to carry the day;
But the oral laws of the traditions will bind us together.
Isong,
You are very romantic!
And we must retrace our steps on this love;
For the wounds of wars run so deep and,
I am learning from my mistakes.
Isong,
You are living in the 3-D world with your love!
And, i am here to help you with my 4-D world;
Because, we romantically broke our virginities! !
And now, the laws of the oral traditions have bounded us.

The Village Education
I love village education more than alphabet education
In my cerebrum, its higher than mountains
In my vein, its deeper than Oceans
It doesn’t requires literacy and numeracy skills
Only a grandma grandpa – storyteller to sit with
Seeds around the fire in evening in wet season on mates
Skins in dry season and narrates fairy stories, legends, fables, proverbs, songs, riddles, taboos, rituals and customs.
At night this oral literature pierces the mind with bitterness
As sixteen inch thorn pierces the foot.
At daytime it penetrates out of mind with sweetness
As honey touch the tongue.
In this oral literature, the thoughts and actions of animals are
My torch at daytime.
In this oral education, the thoughts and actions of elders are walking stick of my youth.
An ignorant child of village education is short-shorter to him self / herself shorter to myself.
An ignorant adult of his/ her culture is short- short
To himself/ herself, shorter to other

Critics?
Critics?
They do what they do best...
Undress those who create.
It is easier for them to probe,
Than appreciate.
It is a frustration of sorts,
To be boxed within boundaries.
Not knowing or understanding...
What the force behind creativity means,
Or where it begins...
With perceptions taught and conceived.
They have an awareness of it.
Or so some believe.
Although a conformity upon them visits.
But to comprehend what it is...
And why some have it and they don't,
Really makes them pissed.
Although an 'intelligence'
Once applied can hide this.
Is that why they delight in being critics?
As creators sweat to expand their wits,
Critics enjoy deploying...
A complete misunderstanding of it!
As they assist others like themselves...
Attempting to expand minds of limited demands.
Hoping this attachment,
Delivers to them someone's attention span.
And they get it!
That is why there is so many critics.

Facts Enacted
Very few 'doers' are without their critics.
And they may be relatives.
Or 'close' friends to suspect.
When one does things that are made public...
No matter who they are,
They will be scrutinized.
And flooded with advice and suggestions to test!
Very few 'doers' are without their critics.
Especially those who have expressed their concerns.
They are the ones often scandalized.
With a receiving of a 'burning'
For their good deeds in return.
And the evidence of that...
Becomes evident,
With the witnessing of those facts enacted.

You Cleaned Mine Eyes
Without a second word
Just as i never imagined
My heart falls.
But Like a stone throne into the sea
I sat back with no excuse.
My brain whispered into my ears,
'Justify this heart'
Mine mind shouted back in anger,
'It has been justified'.
At the passion of your eyes, i kept stared
Why art thou choosen this path,
Perharps i must have driven a horse of history,
That you chose such kind path for a ride with me.
I still can't understand.
You have been a true Brother, Father and Mentor
You are Cherished.

Lai Nouveau: May Offend.
Fair May stays indoor,
with artist mentor,
his minx.
Without her rapport,
his loathing would pour
and jinx,
his artistic chore
to blighted eyesore.
The sweet head she bore,
he sewed to stuffed core,
of lynx.
Still lips guarantor,
of love she once swore,
dear sphinx.
With artist mentor,
fair May stays indoor.
