Some people imagine that nuclear war will mean instant and painless death. But for millions this will not be the case. The accounts of the injured at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and of the doctors who tried to tend them, witness to the horrors and torments which would be magnified thousands of times over in the kinds of attack we analyse here...

People are afraid
People are afraid
of the year 2012 that are coming
and expect something to happen
that is going to tear the world apart,
but maybe man himself
is his greatest enemy.
At times I wonder about guns
killing in Afghanistan and Iraq
and bombs dropping from bombers
there on people
while a super power
like before
stand free from her deeds
and of nuclear bombs
exploding on Hiroshima and Nagasaki
not a lot is said about
and people look only
at the inhumanities
of Hitler and Stalin
and almost nothing
is said about Harry S. Truman.

Nuclear War
Nuclear War, the terror of the world,
Enough to destroy all life and world,
While nuclear war breaks, all terribly die,
Even the creatures that crawl to the birds those fly.
Nuclear war is the agent of death,
In its cruel seize, no life ever breathe,
Once it catches, countries do go dead,
As in world war, Hiroshima almost did.
It brings loss and terror ever never told,
To stop it, all people need to be bold,
And love each other, be it win or loss,
For, nuclear war means humanity's loss.

Well, It's Nuclear...
well, it's nuclear rain,
voices without names,
faces etched in pain,
lives given in vain,
it's nuclear rain.
well, it's nuclear night.
cant tell wrong from right,
hope is out of sight,
men stand alone and fight.
it's nuclear night.
well, it's nuclear stillness.
past the point of forgiveness..
the dying cry out to witness.
the ego driven illness.
it's nuclear stillness.
well, it's nuclear devastation.
the home divided by the nation.
the individual sold to exploitation.
to bondage and incarceration.
it's nuclear devastation.
well, it's nuclear hell.
the spirit put on sale.
the body just a shell.
the truth it cannot tell.
it's nuclear hell.
well, it's nuclear death,
fear steals the very breath.
everything taken nothing left.
child of Cain, child of Seth,
it's nuclear death.
well, it's the nuclear dawn,
all that ever was is gone.
the weak devoured by the strong,
god left to walk alone...
it's nuclear dawn!

It was because of my deep concerns about nuclear weapons that I went to Hiroshima. And then I was astounded in Hiroshima to find that nobody had really studied it.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki Remembered
66 years ago the atomic bomb blasted
below the heads of those in these towns.
How many hundreds, yes, how many thousands
were left to die, consumed by man-made fire?
66 years ago, the incredible showed its face
that death by hundreds or by thousands
be decreed by man, that the green land
and waters should stand barren and poisoned.
Never again should another atomic bomb
be blasted on another town or towns!
Never again should another Nagasaki
and Hiroshima be doomed to atomic curse!
But let their story be told to generations
Let the ashes of the dead float in the seas
and rivers, an eternal reminder of human fault.
Let this story be remembered and retold.

The Holocaust Song (August 6th, '45.)
8-15 Tuesday morning
a burning flash dissolved the skies,
death reigned without warning...
August 6th, '45.
In a lightning crash of frozen moment,
thousands were incinerated and scourged alive;
firewinds flayed through paper houses...
August 6th, '45.
People cauterized to the melting earth,
their scalding blood, their flesh that fried:
they were the lucky ones...
August 6th, '45.
Who put the horror in Hiroshima?
Who wrote shock on the human eye?
Who etched terror onto mankind's future
that August 6th, '45?
Across the warscape of that flattened city
women stumbled too numb to cry,
their skin pulped with boiling blisters...
August 6th, '45.
Lines of shuffling, staring figures
too stunned and sick to wonder why,
their faces shocked but past all panic...
August 6th, '45.
People peeled like red bananas,
those people lived but quickly died;
skin that hung like paper streamers...
August 6th, '45.
Who put the horror in Hiroshima?
Who permitted genocide?
Who sanctioned that mad disaster
on August 6th, '45.
Lurching beings like lifeless corpses
silhouette an ashen sky;
they wandered, abject, without purpose...
August 6th, '45.
Whose pride murdered Nagasaki?
Whose decision prepared the lies?
Were they doomed or just unlucky
that August day, '45?
Escape's denied to all survivors,
cancers haunt them till the day they die.
And their heirs will curse the craven authors
of August 6th, '45.

All Kinds Of Time
The clocks running down
the teams losing ground
to the opposing defense
the young quarterback
waits for the snap
when suddenly it all starts to make sense
he's got all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he takes a step back
he's under attack
but he knows that no one can touch him now
he seems so at ease
a strange inner peace
its all that he's feeling somehow
he's got all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he thinks of his mother
he thinks of his bride to be
he thinks of his father
his two younger brothers
gathered around the wide screen t.v.
he looks to the left
he looks to the right
and there in a golden ray of light
and there his open man
just like he planned
the world is his tonight
he's got all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time
he's got all kinds of time
all kinds of time

Imagine
Imagine information in the palm of your hand.
Imagine the knowledge of a library at your command.
Imagine all books written just a touch away.
Imagine all media at your finger tip each day.
Imagine a device that causes a mental revolution.
Imagine how it calculates with instant execution.
Imagine a discovery rivaling all human means.
Imagine its place in the mapping of genes.
Imagine where this miracle will take mankind.
Imagine unimaginables there still are to find.
Imagine love ruling the world some day.
Imagine how mankind could then find its lost way.

Can I Get A Witness
Can I get a witness
Maybe you got faith
In where this is going
Maybe Ill pull up the stakes
And Ill be letting go
I could not believe
I could not believe
Can I get a witness, witness x3
You know a lot of times I think how big
And I feel lost on the zag zig now
I could not believe
I could not believe
Can I get a witness, witness x3
And some of these people are just so lame
I dont feel like a pupil
Just a loser on a game show
I just cant believe it
No, I cant believe it
Can I get a witness, witness x3
Im rooting for you
And I toasted when I heard about you
And how you got a witness
A citizen maybe in another place
Here comes the wind
Im a chaser
Its time to leave
Here comes
Its time to leave
Can I get a witness, witness (repeat)

At Hiroshima's rock
I had to do a project on Hiroshima for school and I came across a poem about helping the victims at Hiroshima. That one poem inspired me to go and write this about a victim of Hiroshima.
P.S. For those of you who don't know the Enola gay was the plane that bombed Hiroshima
In solitude I walk
Down at Hiroshima’s rock
With the wind at my back
The sky itself was jet black
As I walk
At Hiroshima’s rock
I, the white soldier
Down at Hiroshima’s rock I watch
Waiting on the world
Something will occur
For if nothing were to happen
The world would just arrest
As I walk
At Hiroshima’s rock
I, the white soldier
I hope for the best
But hoping has done nothing
It has killed my friends
It has destroyed my country
As I walk
At Hiroshima’s rock
I, the white soldier
I knew the war was on
All our support had been withdrawn
Peace was on the way
This could well be the last day
We all just want this to be over
As I walk
At Hiroshima’s rock
I, the white soldier
I saw in the distance
The gray Enola gay
I knew right then
The war wasn’t over
As I was running to the ground
I saw little boy fall from the sky
I saw a huge flash of light
Then, I saw no more
As I walked
At Hiroshima’s rock
I, the dead soldier

Women kill men in their sport.
When love at first instant is turned down,
it is a foetus death, painless.
When it is admitted and thrown out,
it is an infantile death, painful.
When it is grown and left barren,
it is an adulthood death, much painful.
When love is built but then split,
It is a death by accident, pain unbearable.
Why does not woman understand it?

Out Of Egypt
Eve's misunderstanding,
Cain's misunderstanding,
Nimrod's misunderstanding,
A false witness will utter lies;
For the 60-year-old apple tree has fallen.
To the prayers of the saints,
Ten of tens of love to share to all mankind;
But, the planter still lives.
Of thousands of thousands,
Of millions of millions,
Of billions of billions,
Of trillions of trillions,
Of zillions of zillions,
The 60-year-old apple tree has fallen.
Ten thousand times ten thousand,
Disease is like a seditive!
So, use your senses well in times like this.
Of many years gone by,
Of many tears gone by,
Of many fears gone by,
Of many wears gone by,
Like the precious oil upon my head;
And like him who sits on the throne.
Power, riches and wisdom;
Strength, honour and glory;
It is just like the dew of Hermon where,
The blessing of this compact city is with us always.
It started with Eve,
It started with Cain,
It started with Nimrod,
The works of Man's hand;
Like the letters of Baal out of Egypt.

The scene of a bomb blast
The scene of a bomb blast
Bodies and body parts strewn all over the place
Hand bags, slippers and other belongings of people too
People are shouting and groaning with pain
The road is flooded by the blood of people injured and died
The survivors trying to help the badly injured
The rescuers helping the injured to go to hospital
What a tragedy
The siren of ambulances says that there was a mishap somewhere
In buses, in trains, on the road
Everywhere explosives find
No place seems safe for people to travel
Some people getting maimed for life
Husbands, wives, children losing their loved ones
Oh! I never dreamt to see this type of scene
In my beloved motherland
It’s bleeding unto death
Who and who are to blame
Only God knows
My prayer everyday is
God makes someone find
Whenever a bomb is planted
And also I pray people will be kind hearted
Not hurt others’ feeling
A person will know another’s life is very precious
Not to get undue advantage
People will stop all kinds of wastage
People will act true to their hearts
People should understand their wrong doings
Learn to say the word ‘sorry'
And to have all ways on mind
That one day you will die!

No Adequate Poem Will Be Written Against The Darkness Of Another Life
NO ADEQUATE POEM WILL BE WRITTEN AGAINST THE DARKNESS OF A DIFFERENT LIFE (Reflections after reading “ To See You Again”(A True Story of Love in a Time of War) by Betty Schimmel
No adequate poem will be written against the darkness of a different life-
There are people in this world who have known horrors beyond my poor imagining-
Priviliged to have been safe throughout my life
How can I possibly understand those who saw human lives taken in an instant?
Millions of innocent have been murdred in this world-
And we live our everyday lives as if there has never been such a thing in the world -
Were we to constantly pay attention to the worst that there has been
We would perhaps curse God and die –
The worst has happened many many times to others-
As good as me or mine-
How I fear the incidents and accidents and not so accidents
In a world in which we have so many enemies who would destroy us
Who hate us with all their envy and stupidity
And who would wipe us out completely –
I pray to God and have faith in God and believe in God
But the worst horrors have happened to those with greater faith than mine-
The future is terrible uncertainty-
And I pray we will have the strength and courage and luck and blessing to not to be its victims again.

20th Century
Farms are burned down to the ground
and cattle slaughter just there in the fields,
while a super power forces women and children
into concentration camps to kill them there.
Railway tracks run crisscross over the country
and galloping horses and oxen pulling wagons
are replaced by roaring cars, lorries
and motorbikes
and people follow technology
as if it’s the new god.
When the stock exchange folds
people jump from the windows of buildings,
while they are out of their wits,
as if they have got wings.
Germans march past
and thousands in crowds
are giving a sigh heil salute
and in a peculiar way stay ignorant
about millions of Jews that are robbed
and killed,
as if they did not exist.
Bombers let bombs dropp like rain
on Britain and rockets
hit London almost unstoppable
and in the icy Russian winter
the Germans are reminded that they are humans
and from Stalingrad they are driven back
until the Russians claim some of Berlin
and half of Germany
as their domain
and almost every women there gets raped
and America drops the bomb on Hiroshima
and another time on Nagasaki
and their enemies are molten, burned and radiated
and after this war jets cross the skies,
rockets go to the moon
where man stands like a god.
l’Envoi
It’s the age were young boys
are shot into peaces in Vietnam, in Namibia
and Angola are sent to war,
where people loose respect for God
and try to solve everything with science,
where man becomes godly in his own eyes
and I wonder what the almighty God
thinks about this
while man is turn the earth to ruins
and are filling the cup
of the wrath of God?

Imagine the world without wars…
Imagine the world without your laws
Imagine your life without fear
Imagine your eyes without a tear
Imagine all men were real men
Imagine…imagine…imagine…
Imagine life without hate
Imagine you knew your own fate
Imagine all children were happy
Imagine all nations were free
What would life be like?
Imagine no-one were blind
Imagine all the woes behind
Imagine…….imagine……..imagine….
Imagi ne earth were flat
Imagine man without a heart

Question Human Survival
poetics beautifully written
are our wells of disappear
disasters of global impact
with huge implications
impacting upon environment
hidden in articles trivia
like industrial holocaust
Nagasaki back to Hiroshima
cattle human candles lit
global warming impact
nuclear environmental disasters
pushed under red carpet
quality perpetuation life
question human survival
hidden lost in small print
less important
than share market
prices Viagra,
is an acute indictment
upon grid lock values
in society apocalypse

All Kinds Of People
Theres a time for love, and a time for healing
You cant go back and undo whats been done
Word of mouth, time is revealing
Just how far weve let this kingdom come
Hand in hand, were finding our way
And today is just tomorrows yesterday
Some will die for you; some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Turn the world around, tear the borders down
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Yeahhhh
A kiss of life, and the hand of faith
A boy grows up into his fathers son
And he learns to love, hes been taught to hate
To carry on the way it has been done
All our lives its debts to repay
And then someday we can put the past away
Some will die for you, some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Turn the world around, tear the borders down
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Some will die for you; some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Put your fear away, find a better way,
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Yeahhhh
In a moment, things can change
One look behind and its never the same
Some will die for you, some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Turn the world around, tear the borders down
Theres all kinds of people in this world
(all kinds of people of people in this world)
Some will die for you, some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Put your fear away, find a better way,
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Some will die for you; some would lie to you
Theres all kinds of people in this world
Put your fear away, find a better way,
Theres all kinds of people in this world
