Mr. And Mrs. James Akpan II
Of your spiritual inner-self,

Where love and loving-kindness are together, God is always there
Since Christ’s love has gathered us all together in one company,
Let us rejoice and take delight n Him, now and forever,

I am walking as if in the air!
Because of traps set down before me;
And i have to watch every step that i take.

Death Itself
My forceful fellow works miracles,
Offering to mankind a display of his work,
The work of kindness, the work of greatness.
My forces abstain from destruction until light
Has entered darkness, so faraway.
Little smells waft to the top of the room
As we search for another miracle - a candle
Or lamp.
This gas chamber chaotically displays
Death, as a realm of gold and light,

The Nobility of Women of Merit
Even precious jewels cannot approach their value,
For the women of merit are priced beyond them.
Their beauty is found in the works of love they do,
And in their smile facing the future that is never dim.
Most arise at dawn when it is still like the night
And wrap round them bands of strength like corsets.
Going out like the cargo ships before daylight,
They conduct their business for handsome profits.
Their beauty is matched by their hearts filled with virtue,
For there is rich wisdom and mercy on her tongue.
Their clothing soft fair linen of purple and blue,
And open are their hands to needy they live among.
Men give them praise and children give them honor,
Since her public reputation is all to her credit.
Eschewing evil for the good at every corner,
They ply their gifts toward works of merit.

For her fire will not go out for the night.

I'm 85 Years Old
Fantasies get younger
I am getting older
what I look like
wrinkles tell my pride, even wisdom if may I say so
have gone through toughness
I have learned from it
Hope
there are so many things left I want to go through
Kindness
that is the clue I look for them with
I try to imagine what kindness is like
I try to draw my past staying with my heart
I have realized that I have had many things left
I want to go through again
Now all I remember is everything full of kindness
in spite of toughness
I am feeling my heart in those days joyful
I am 85 years old
fantasies will never get older
but I'd like to start all over again
making a big smile to younger generations by telling
you will be fine

Today is the gift and tomorrow will be the talent,
Since yesterday was the birth of your muse on this love;
And i am about to make a switch to express y mind,
For money cannot buy my talent.
One warm afternoon with a lovely take,
And of this real world which is outside me;
But the poet of this poem is unknown by many!
And like riding a bicycle along side a car driver,
For the mind of the writer will surely touch the hearts of many.
Gold, cocoa, timber, bauxite, manganese and diamond!
And like a diplomatic gaffe in the midst of abundance;
But the fool is still hungry in the land of plenty.
This is like a paradigm shift but,
What went wrong with these resources?

This world is full of hopes and dreams,
