Campbell

The growth of the bears can be trimmed,
But the heathen worships what they do not understand;
And of the cultures of the earth so great to respect at last,
For you do have fortune tellers beside you.
Do not cheat others in business,
For Campbell is here to tell you the truth about life!
And like the Bushmen with their arrows ready for war.

Feel Grateful To Our Earth Mother

Feel grateful to our Earth mother for at least we should feel aware
That without her we could not exist of us she takes good care
We pollute her sky and waterways and remove trees from her land
Yet what we do to her to ourselves we do many of us don't seem to understand
The only visible God of which I can claim to know
To the great Goddess of Nature respect we ought to show
Many of her many life forms because of us becoming rare
This Earth is theirs as well as ours to live on and this Earth with them we ought to share
Feel grateful to our Earth Mother since off of her we do live
We take and take and take from her but back to her don't give
The creator of all life forms that live on land and waterway and sea
Than our marvellous Earth mother there is no greater force than she
And what we do to her we do to ourselves so happens to be true
Respect our great Earth Mother since our respect she is due.

A Question Of Honor

I respect, another mans religion, or color or creed.
I respect, and follow, the will of my maker.
I respect, the truth, no matter how unpopular.

I respect, a good work ethic.
I respect, the values on which this country was founded.
I respect, those who would champion the under privileged.
I respect, those of differences, who seek common ground.

I respect, the concept of monogamy.
I respect, those faithful to principal.
I respect, change, that is for the better.
I respect, an honest days work.

I respect, the great talents of the entertainment world.
I respect, thought provoking works, of the written word.
I respect, the unquenchable thirst of creativity.
I respect, the farmers and workers that toil in the field.

I respect, the good in man.
I respect, the virtue in woman.
I respect, the innocence of children.
I respect, the generosity of mankind.

Most of all...I respect the maker of
life and the love, that each of us
have within us.

Are You Ready?

Are you ready, are you ready?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Are you ready to meet jesus?
Are you where you ought to be?
Will he know you when he sees you
Or will he say, depart from me?
Are you ready, hope youre ready.
Am I ready, am I ready?
Am I ready, am I ready?
Am I ready to lay down my life for the brethren
And to take up my cross?
Have I surrendered to the will of god
Or am I still acting like the boss?
Am I ready, hope Im ready.
When destruction cometh swiftly
And theres no time to say a fare-thee-well,
Have you decided whether you want to be
In heaven or in hell?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Have you got some unfinished business?
Is there something holding you back?
Are you thinking for yourself
Or are you following the pack?
Are you ready, hope youre ready.
Are you ready?
Are you ready for the judgment?
Are you ready for that terrible swift sword?
Are you ready for armageddon?
Are you ready for the day of the lord?
Are you ready, I hope youre ready.

The Song of the Strange Ascetic

If I had been a heathen,
I'd have praised the purple vine,
My slaves should dig the vineyards,
And I would drink the wine;
But Higgins is a heathen,
And his slaves grow lean and grey,
That he may drink some tepid milk
Exactly twice a day.

If I had been a heathen,
I'd have crowned Neaera's curls,
And filled my life with love affairs,
My house with dancing girls;
But Higgins is a heathen,
And to lecture rooms is forced,
Where his aunts, who are not married,
Demand to be divorced.

If I had been a heathen,
I'd have sent my armies forth,
And dragged behind my chariots
The Chieftains of the North;
But Higgins is a heathen,
And he drives the dreary quill,
To lend the poor that funny cash
That makes them poorer still.

If I had been a heathen,
I'd have piled my pyre on high,
And in a great red whirlwind
Gone roaring to the sky;
But Higgins is a heathen,
And a richer man than I:
And they put him in an oven,
Just as if he were a pie.

Now who that runs can read it,
The riddle that I write,
Of why this poor old sinner
Should sin without delight;
But I, I cannot read it
(Although I run and run),
Of them that do not have the faith,
And will not have the fun.

Moral Fiber!

true moral fiber...
is grounded in respect!
respect yourself!
respect the earth!
respect your neighbor!
(everyone is your neighbor)
respect the search for truth.
respect justice!
respect the rights of human beings
to be human beings!
respect the need of each and all!

living thus...
will not allow you to respect,
acts of injustice,
acts of ignorance,
acts of prejudice,
acts of greed!

be respect!

The Three Rulers

The Three Rulers

In life I have three rulers,
My own mind,
My love of my homeland,
My faith in God.

My own mind defines who I am,
The decisions I have made,
The way I live my life,
The hope and dreams I have for the future.

My homeland defines how I look at the world,
The countless people who have fallen defending it,
The beauty of its countryside,
The long history of its people's over many millennia.

My faith guides how I treat the world,
The way I respect other people,
The way I respect different religions and cultures,
The way I respect the earth in all its glory.

The Bushman

When the merchant lies down, he can scarce go to sleep
For thinking of his merchandise upon the fatal deep;
His ships may be cast away or taken in a war,
So him alone we'll envy not, who true bushmen are.

Who true bushmen are,
So him alone we'll envy not, who true bushmen are!

When the soldier lies down, his mind is full of thought
O'er seeking that promotion which so long he has sought;
He fain would gain repose for mortal wound or scar,
So him also we'll envy not, who true bushmen are.

When the sailor lies down, his mind he must prepare
To rouse out in a minute if the wind should prove unfair.
His voyage may be stopped for the want of a spar,
So him also we'll envy not, who true bushmen are.

When the bushman lies down, his mind is free from care,
He knows his stock will furnish him with meat, wear and tear.
Should all commerce be ended in the event of a war,
Then bread and beef won't fail us boys, who true bushmen are.

Then fill, fill your glasses, a toast I'll give you, then,
To you who call yourselves true-hearted men.
Here's a health to the soldier and e'en the jolly tar,
And may they always meet as good friends as we bushmen are.

Who true bushmen are,
And may they always meet as good friends as we bushmen are.

The Spirit Of St. Louis III

In my consortium,
In my realm,
In my apartment,
With life struggles and the tunnels under the broad roads;
But the African has more to say than expected.

Talents abounds in Africa but,
Who is ready to tap them?
Even though, some cultures do not respect a gifted person.

To my ancestors and the forgotten ones i do give my respect,
But to a world so sweet which is also full of sins!
And inside Africa with many languages to respect the muse of love,
But we are manily centred with tribal groups.

Living with languages,
And like the names and the tribes;
With many wars against one another to gain power,
But the heat of the sun rests on us all in Africa! !

Lanuages and religions,
With different countries to make up Africa;
And with many difficulties to unite as one,
Fior the 'African Unity' (AU) is still crawling like a baby.

Born a right-handed,
But today i am a left-handed;
All in the land of my muse to respect my identity,
But i will always respect the spirit of St. Louis.

Prove All Things

You implored me and i loved you,
And like the heathen and the publicans;
But prove all things and hold on to the truth always!
For the truth is always the truth.

Abstain yourself from every appearance of evil and,
Come to the full knowledge of the truth and learn to love one another;
For the earth is our learning place and,
We need peace and love to put things right.

We can do it! !

We speak different languages, but we think alike,
We have different cultures, but we behave alike,
We live in different zones, but we feel alike,
We are differently toned, but we are hurt alike,
Thinking of truth, nothing but the truth,
Behaving as a human, none other than human,
Feelings and its intensity, pain is same everywhere,
Hurt and the wound, the scar is not different somewhere.
We can understand one another, as the clouds do,
We can sniff the indifference, as the earth does,
We can protect the treasure as the moon does,
We can destroy the germ full thoughts, as the sun does.

The Truth, The Life, The Way

Since Adam first was given birth
We’ve been at constant war
Disgraced and cursed to work the earth
When God closed tight His door

Perchance, we’ve sought the way to go
Yet few would seek to pray
Though God alone can really show
The Truth, The Life, The Way

The Truth, to know we cheat and lie
The Truth, to know we kill
The Truth, to know until we die
We seek our selfish will

The Will, that leads from Jesus’ Light
The Will, that’s Satan’s knife
The Will, that robs of perfect sight
We need to find true Life

The Life, we need when dead in sin
The Life, when led astray
The Life, we seek to dwell within
To guide us all The Way

The Way that leads to Truth again
The Way, to Life once more
The Way, that cleanses every stain
To find Salvation’s Door

The Door, in Truth is God’s own Seed
That grows through faith, in Light
Whose fruit we bear, others to feed
Who’ll need to win the fight

The fight for Life, in Truth is won
Who’ll fight where death, is gain!
For they who die for God’s True Son
Will live, with Him to reign…

Dismissed Fortune Tellers

Time changes that,
Which is believed set in stone.
It's less traumatic today to awaken with amnesia.
Than to witness the wonders of discovery,
Widen the eyes of those devoted to tales told...
Vanishing as truth of events unfold.
While those whistle blowers are being reminisced,
As dismissed fortune tellers.

'In your future I see...
Several hands,
Other than yours...
Playing more than a game of pool,
In your pockets.'

~Stop it.
Were you passed over for a raise you expected? ~

Not to initiate discussions of pervert activity,
But some people became quite offended...
By the thought of someone else,
Tossing big balls around discreetly.
Whistle blowers became labelled...
As those disgruntled,
That nothing was slipped in their pockets...
To keep them hushed.
So they were slandered as liars and crushed.
And to the exits...rushed!

'Those were the days my friend.
Days that came to an end for those snoopers of greed,
Sitting high in executive seats.
And found noticebly cheating to bring more into their homes,
Besides a dozen of eggs and bacon.'
These rats had acquired taste to build their own cheese factories.

Time changes that,
Which is believed set in stone.
It's less traumatic today to awaken with amnesia.
Than to witness the wonders of discovery,
Widen the eyes of those devoted to tales told...
Vanishing as truth of events unfold.
While those whistle blowers are being reminisced,
As dismissed fortune tellers.
