A Virtuous Woman III

Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Leah, Billah, Zilpah, Riyyah and Ruth;
Given forth as the bright light of love,
But show your love to others in the right way as needed!
For, a virtuous woman is a crown to her husband.

Runnin' Scared

Leah, Leah.
Leah, Leah.
Here I go
From the hut to the boat to the sea
For Leah.
I've got to go diving in the bay.
Got to get a lot of oysters, find some pearls today.
To make a pretty necklace for Leah, Leah.
I've got to go deep and find the ones just right.
I'll bet my Leah will be surprised tonight.
I'll place the pearls around the only girl for me, Leah.
But something's wrong, I cannot move around.
My leg is caught, it's pulling me down.
But I'll keep my hands shut tight, for if they find me,
They'll find the pearl for Leah.
And now it's over. I'm awake at last.
All heartaches and memories from the past.
It was just another dream about my lost love, Leah.
Leah, Leah.
Leah, Leah.
Here I go, back to sleep and my dreams.
And I'll be with Leah, Leah, Leah.

A Virtuous Woman

I belong to my lover and my lover belongs to me,
With self-assured words to bind this love forever!
For she's my treasure.

My fair Lady,
You need a royal pampering on this love from my heart;
And pure love is everything on this muse,
With self-assured words from your heart to bind this love!

A virtuous woman is a crown of the husband,
And like an architectural digest to view at times;
For true love is all about this unity that we share,
So flourish yourself like the flowers of love to satisfy me always.

Sincerity with the muse of your love,
A virtuous woman is a crown of the husband;
And you are my fair lady on this love,
But let your words of peace bath my mind always.

Jacob's Wives

These are the words of Jacob’s wives, the words
Which Leah spake and Rachel to his ears,
When, in the shade at eventide, he sat
By the tent door, a palm-tree overhead,
A spring beside him, and the sheep around.

And Rachel spake and said, The nightfall comes
Night, which all day I wait for, and for thee.

And Leah also spake, The day is done;
My lord with toil is weary and would rest.

And Rachel said, Come, O my Jacob, come;
And we will think we sit beside the well,
As in that day, the long long years agone,
When first I met thee with my father’s flock.

And Leah said, Come, Israel, unto me;
And thou shalt reap an harvest of fair sons,
E’en as before I bare thee goodly babes;
For when was Leah fruitless to my lord?

And Rachel said, Ah come! as then thou cam’st,
Come once again to set thy seal of love;
As then, down bending, when the sheep had drunk,
Thou settedst it, my shepherd O sweet seal!
Upon the unwitting, half-foretasting lips,
Which, shy and trembling, thirsted yet for thine
As cattle thirsted never for the spring.

And Leah answered, Are not these their names
As Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah four?
Like four young saplings by the water’s brim,
Where straining rivers through the great plain wind
Four saplings soon to rise to goodly trees
Four trees whose growth shall cast an huger shade
Than ever yet on river-side was seen.

And Rachel said, And shall it be again
As, when dissevered far, unheard, alone,
Consumed in bitter anger all night long,
I moaned and wept, while, silent and discreet,
One reaped the fruit of love that Rachel’s was
Upon the breast of him that knew her not?

And Leah said, And was it then a wrong
That, in submission to a father’s word,
Trembling yet hopeful, to that bond I crept,
Which God hath greatly prospered, and my lord,
Content, in after-wisdom not disowned,
Joyful, in after-thankfulness approved?

And Rachel said, But we will not complain,
Though, all life long, an alien, unsought third,
She trouble our companionship of love.

And Leah answered, No, complain we not,
Though years on years she loiter in the tent,
A fretful, vain, unprofitable wife.

And Rachel answered, Ah! she little knows
What in old days to Jacob Rachel was.

And Leah said, And wilt thou dare to say,
Because my lord was gracious to thee then,
No deeper thought his riper cares hath claimed,
No stronger purpose passed into his life?
That, youth and maid once fondly, softly touched,
Time’s years must still the casual dream repeat,
And all the river far, from source to sea,
One flitting moment’s chance reflection bear?
Also she added, Who is she to judge
Of thoughts maternal, and a father’s heart?

And Rachel said, But what to supersede
The rights which choice bestowed hath Leah done?
What which my handmaid or which hers hath not?
Is Simeon more than Napthali? is Dan
Less than his brother Levi in the house?
That part that Billah and that Zilpah have,
That, and no more, hath Leah in her lord;
And let her with the same be satisfied.

Leah asked then, And shall these things compare
(Fond wishes, and the pastime, and the play)
With serious aims and forward-working hopes
Aims as far-reaching as to earth’s last age,
And hopes far-travelling as from east to west?

Rachel replied, That love which in his youth,
Through trial proved, consoles his perfect age;
Shall this with project and with plan compare?
Is not for-ever shorter than all time,
And love more straitened than from east to west?

Leah spake further, Hath my lord not told
How, in the visions of the night, his God,
The God of Abraham and of Isaac, spake
And said, Increase, and multiply, and fill
With sons to serve Me this thy land and mine;
And I will surely do thee good, and make
Thy seed as is the sand beside the sea,
Which is not numbered for its multitude?
Shall Rachel bear this progeny to God?

But Rachel wept and answered, And if God
Hath closed the womb of Rachel until now,
Shall He not at His pleasure open it?
Hath Leah read the counsels of the Lord?
Was it not told her, in the ancient days,
How Sarah, mother of great Israel’s sire,
Lived to long years, insulted of her slave,
Or e’er to light the Child of Promise came,
Whom Rachel too to Jacob yet may bear?

Moreover, Rachel said, Shall Leah mock,
Who stole the prime embraces of my love,
My first long-destined, long-withheld caress?
But not, she said, methought, but not for this,
In the old days, did Jacob seek his bride;
Where art thou now, O thou that sought’st me then?
Where is thy loving tenderness of old?
And where that fervency of faith to which
Seven weary years were even as a few days?

And Rachel wept and ended, Ah, my life!
Though Leah bear thee sons on sons, methought
The child of love, late-born, were worth them all.

And Leah groaned and answered, It is well:
She that hath kept from me my husband’s heart
Will set their father’s soul against my sons.
Yet, also, not, she said, I thought, for this,
Not for the feverish nor the doating love,
Doth Israel, father of a nation, seek;
Nor to light dalliance, as of boy and girl,
Incline the thoughts of matron and of man,
Or lapse the wisdom of maturer mind.

And Leah ended, Father of my sons,
Come, thou shalt dream of Rachel if thou wilt,
So Leah fold thee in a wife’s embrace.

These are the words of Jacob’s wives, who sat
In the tent door, and listened to their speech,
The spring beside him, and above the palm,
While all the sheep were gathered for the night.

Of a glamorous, exciting and a romantic adventure on this love;
Of the momentum and the acts of love that it brings;
Let your love arise and feel the earth with peace and care!
For, the story had just began for you and i on this love.

Ninety days in Agege and,
Of the things that man went through;
But having you is like a dream!
For a virtuous woman is a crown of her husband.

A Husband...

A husband should be
Loyal and honest
A husband should be
Strong and protective

A husband should be
Loving and romantic
A husband should be
Patient and understanding

A husband should know
When enough is enough
A husband should know
When to fight and when to cry

A husband should know
all your goals and dreams
A husband should know
your strengths and well as your weaknesses

A husband needs to be a true man
A husband needs to love you unconditionally
A husband needs to know your heart is forever his

Elah

Abraham left all that he had to Isaac and,
Gifts to the sons of his concubines;
So try to give out more than to receive.
Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah,
And sixty years old when Esau and Yaaqob were born;
But the older shall serve the younger at all times and,
You must always give out than to receive.

Mahlon's widow,
Like Rachel and Leah;
Of the gnats on man and the dense swarms of flies;
But do the right thing always to gain the love of man.
Try to learn to give out always,
Try to teach and be very humble at all times,
For we are all on this earth to share with one another.

To the black forest of love;
But Sheva is your name and,
One day you will fly up high like a kite.

The rain dropa are like the tears on your face;
So, how calm are the pillows of your love?

Commitmment and faithfulness,
Mercy and loving-kindness;
But the fruit of your tree is measured by your muse!
For a virtuous woman is the crown of the husband.

Bible Stories: Ruth (Part IV)

Boaz Marries Ruth:

As Boaz sat down near the gate,
There came the kinsman whom he sought;
He sat along with elders ten!
Boaz told them of Naomi
Who’d come away from Moab-land
After the death of her husband.

She has a plot of land to sell;
The kinsman had first right to buy,
And if he did, he should redeem
Ruth, widowed daughter-in-law too.

The kinsman told that he could not
And gave up right to redeem Ruth;
The man removed his shoe as sign,
‘Let Boaz buy the plot himself’
This was the practice in Israel! ’

So, Boaz told the elders there:
He had purchased Elimelech’s
And Naomi’s inheritance,
And Ruth, the wife of dead Mahlon.
Would be his new wife from then on.

This was to save the dead one’s kin,
From being cut off from brethren,
And all were witnesses that day,
Who sat to hear the news by gate!

The elders glorified the Lord,
And blessed the new wife of Boaz,
To build her house in Bethlehem,
And bear forth children: be famous
Like Rachel, Leah and too Tamar.

So, Ruth became Boaz’s wife,
And bore a son through grace of God
The women blessed and praised the Lord
Whose kindness saved Naomi’s clan.

Obed was son of Boaz, Ruth
And Naomi became its nurse!
Obed begot Jesse, father of
David, the King: Glory to God!

A Virtuous Woman II

Signs of the time,
Widespread enough to catch a mouse;
But time are chainging for you and me,
Because, the wages of sin are seen all around us!

To succeed when you have views and,
To open your eyes when you are in love;
But your beauty is like the sun of the moon! !

Beauty and love,
And like the beats of the drummer-boy!
But to love with the fiery essence is like the love of your sweet muse;
And, i have seen what my heart yearns for! !
Becasue, you are the one;
And like soul to soul and eye to eye.

A virtuous woman is what you are!
And like the joy of the sweet songs of love;
But to open my window to you is like,
Seeing the nakedness of you! !
And, i have seen what my heart yearns for.

A virtuous woman,
Two are better than one;
And like a typical farmer with a cutlass in his hand;
But, the land of the legends will always sing my muse!
Because, i was made to love all races in the name of love!
But, a virtuous woman is what you need beside you.

Pretty woman

Pretty woman.
But wife is beautiful.
Pretty woman is hot.
But wife is the sexiest.
Pretty woman is just for sex.
But a wife is to make love.
Wife is a forbidden fruit.
To you and all.
and wife is more caring.
Be at home and by her husband.
and wife is the husband diamond.
And the husband love making love to her.
That no other women can.
Make him feel so good.
and her husband always in love.
With her.
And wife is the husband success.
Loving and warm full happiness.
She bears our children. And
She is the most gifted darling.

Rachel

The story of Rachel is a story of great love,
A story shaped by our Heavenly Father above.
A story of great mystery,
A wonderful story of biblical history.

Of a man in search of the love of his life,
The woman God would provide for a wife.
An epic of a wicked father, who cheated and lied,
A man of faith worked seven years and cried.

When the calendar turned over a fourteenth year,
Jacob would hear Rachel's sweet whisper in his ear.
He would remember a dry and dusty by a well,
And Rachel's beauty as well.

Rachel, to be true to your God is to be true to your self,
Follow the book and gain great spiritual wealth.
You have a natural beauty a delight to behold,
Much like the Rachel of old.

You are bright and willing to achieve,
Set your course drive hard and in Jesus believe.
You have parents old and new who in you delight,
And are watching to see you follow in God's might.

I Want You Babe

Oh, i want you babe
I want you all to myself
And now and then
I'm gonna hold you
Tell you that i'm gonna love you
Come with me and i will show you
In a while i'll get to know you
Oh, you know i needed you woman
I needed you, i needed you
Every day and night, right
Now and then
I'm gonna hold you
Tell you that i'm gonna love you
Come with me and i will show you
In a while i'll get to know you
Yeah, yeah, oh
Well, you know what
The secret is i guess
And you think you know
Who your lover's wife is
So you better stop
That thing you're doing
Baby, youre driving me, driving me
Driving me to my ruins
But i, i want you babe
When i was a young man
Always trying to say hello babe
But you'd never know
You live in want
Never knowing that i existed
Till my mind was twisted
I was always trying, sometimes crying
Oh, i needed you, needed you
Needed you ...
Stop that thing that you're doing
Baby, youre driving me, driving me
Driving me to my ruins
Oh, i want you babe
I needed you, i needed you
Every single day
Of my entire life
And everytime i tried
Someone else would come along
There it went again
But now and then
I'm gonna hold you
Tell you that i'm gonna love you
Come with me and i will show you
In a while i'll get to know you
You and me we're gonna make it
Come with me, we mustn't break it

Rachel

When Jacob and Rachel met for the first time,
He bowed to her like a humble wayfarer.
The herds were raising hot dust to the skies,
The little well's mouth was covered by a boulder.
He rolled the old boulder away from the well
And watered the flock with clean water himself.

Yet sweet little sadness crept into his heart
With each passing day growing stronger.
To wed her he bargained to toil seven years
As shepherd for her artful father.
Oh, Rachel! To the captive of love in his eyes
The seven years seemed as a few dazzling days.

Yet Laban was thirsty for silver, and wise,
And mercy he didn’t espouse,
Assuming forgiveness for all kind of lies…
As long as they serve his own house.
He took homely Leah with his sure hand
And led her to Jacob in his wedding tent.

A sultry night reigns over high desert sky
And spreads misty dews in the morning,
While pulling her braids in despair all that night
The younger of sisters is moaning,
Sends curses to Leah and God for her doom
Imploring the angel of death to come soon.

As Jacob is dreaming the sweetest of dreams:
The clear well spring in the valley
And Rachel's eyes happily looking at him
Her beautiful voice singing softly:
O, weren't you kissing me, Jacob, with love
And calling me always your black turtledove?

King Without A Crown

Welcome to the great republic
Guess I should show you round
Where once I was a king
And now I am a clown
The love that we once shared
Made a king of me
But now youre gone... but now youre gone
All I face is poverty
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
Hell hath no fury
Like a woman scorned
But heaven dont boast - no heaven dont boast
The jewel - the pretty jewel I just pawned
Every cloud has a silver lining
Every dog has its day
Oh but I guess the sun stopped shining
On the day you went away
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Yes Im a king - king! king without a crown
Bathed in former glory
Deposed from my throne
How do I get to tell my story?
When all gets your answerphone...
But you aint home
With the love you gave
I felt like royalty
But now youre face to face - face to face
With one ex-member of the aristocracy
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
Theres no need to feel down
Yeah just take a look around
Youll see a man whos just a man
Nothing more
A king without a crown

Yeah
Eight days a week with my baby at home
And you know that shes my tender honey
Baby Ive been good
But you know its rough
When youre spending all of my money
Aint no disputin Im your man
You know I want to tell the world
Youre the only woman
Show me what love can be
Youre the only woman
That understands a man like me
Rock and roll is a way of life
But dont you know it brings me down
Music is my game but when Im home
I treat a lady like shes wearing a crown
Stranded in the storm round lakewood way
You know who comes to mind
Shes the only woman
Show me what love can be
Shes the only woman
That understands a man like me
[guitar solo]
When Im away with time to kill
Just sittin around gettin high
Thinking about your sweet sweet love
I wanna jump on a plane and fly
Sweet little susie
Show me what love can be
Shes the only woman
That understands a man
She understands a man
