Manchester of South India!
Coimbatore is cool in summer,
I was in Red-fields in Coimbatore,
In the ground floor of a house,
Surrounded by flower plants;
Green everywhere,
With red and yellow flowers,
Hot is not felt,
Water is chill;
Weather is cool,
Summer is not felt,
Cool Coimbatore,
Manchester of South India!

[ Late August ]
Heat still sizzles in the fields
In August summer still yields
The sun shines to no regret
Wind sauntering 'til sunset
'though heat is being cool off by the rain
Preserving flowers, and meadow - green
But summer still taking what it brings
The August incense with fugacious wings
Bounty blooms, butterflies, bees are insane
Birds, crickets sing and the night listens
Summer's sky, bright burst so clear
It's the late August in summer's fair
Summer in August still in standby
Sooner balmy weather is coming by
The hot temper will bicker with cool air
With soothing breeze here comes September

A Touch Of Heaven
I felt at peace that bright summer day
As I lay in the shade of the big oak tree
Listening to the whispering of the quiet brook
Softly treading it's way to the wide open sea.
With the rustling of the leaves pushed by the soft summer breeze
whispering in my ear,
I watched in delight a delicate, golden winged butterfly
Flitting from Flower to flower in the cool open air
And my heart then opened to the might of the Creator and the
Everlasting beauty of His creations.in display
And felt a touch of Heaven on that soft floor of leaves that bright
Summer day.

Cool
It's hard to remember how it felt before
Now I found the love of my life
Passes things, get more comfortable
Everything is going right
And after all the obstacles
It's good to see you now with someone else
And it's such a miracle that you and me are still good friends
After all that we've been through
I know we're cool
I know we're cool
We used to think it was impossible
Now you call me by my new last name
Memories seem like so long ago
Time always kills the pain
Remember Harbor Boulevard
The dreaming days where the mess was made
Look how all the kids have grown, oh
We have changed but we're still the same
After all that we've been through
I know we're cool
I know we're cool
Yeah, I know we're cool
And I'll be happy for you
If you can be happy for me
Circles and triangles
And now we're hanging out with your new girlfriend
So far from where we've been
I know we're cool
I know we're cool
C-cool, I know we're cool
I know we're cool

Cool Water
Words and music by bob nolan
Revised lyrics by joni mitchell
All day I face the barren waste
Without a taste of water
Cool water
Old dan and i
Our throats slate dry
Our spirits cry out for water
Cool clear water
Keep on movin dan
Some devils had a plan
Buried poison in the sand
Dont drink it man
Its in the water
Cool clear water
In my mind I see
A big green tree
And a river flowin free
Waitin up ahead
For you and me
Cool clear water
The nights are cool and Im a fool
Each star is a pool of water
Cool water
But come the dawn
We carry on
We wont last long without water
Cool clear water
Keep on movin dan
Were still in no-mans land
Dry bones and sand
People never planned here for water
Cool clear water
In my mind I see
A big green tree
And a river flowin free
Waiting up ahead for you and me
Cool clear water
The shadows sway
They seem to say
Tonight we pray for water
Cool water
And way up there
If you care
Please show us where
Theres good water
Cool clear water

The Cool Cat
The cool cat,
is just standing there.
The cool cat,
doesn't even glare.
The cool cat,
thinks he's so hot.
The cool cat,
doesn't give a snot.
The cool cat,
doesn't listen in class.
The cool cat,
thinks his better than the rest.
The cool cat,
really has no friends.
The cool cat,
smokes after school.
The cool cat,
left his family.
The cool cat,
is a player.
The cool cat,
has no prayers.
The cool cat,
has no savers.
The cool cat,
is one tough dude.
But really....
The cool cat,
is one big fool.

The Cool Summer Breeze
The Cool Summer Breeze
Have you experienced the cool summer breeze?
Have you witnessed the constant swaying trees?
How about the buzzing of the bees?
Have you seen the falling of the leaves?
I have, and I love the cool summer breeze.

Oh! Its a hot Summer Day
Oh! its a hot summer day,
When the temperatures are high,
Yes, this is the month of May,
All-man and animals cry-
Oh! its a hot summer day,
No one dares to come out,
They all like to stay,
In their cool home and shout-
Oh! it's a hot summer day,
And till the Sun shrinks,
It's not at all cool-no way,
Then they would like to thinks-
Oh! it 'was' a hot summer day,
Even then the temperatures wo'nt fall,
And people on their beds-just lay,
Now everyone would like to call-
OH! ITS STILL THE HOT SUMMER DAY.

This song was first released on the back home again album. it is the only album it has been released on.
Saturdays holidays, easy afternoon
Lazy days, summer days
Nothin much to do
Rainy days of better days
Hangin out inside
Rainy days and city ways
Make me want to hide some place
Cool an green an shady
Find yourself a piece of grassy ground
Lay down close your eyes
Find yourself and maybe lose yourself
While your free spirit flies
Find yourself a piece of grassy ground
Lay down close your eyes
Find yourself and maybe lose yourself
While your free spirit flies
August skies are lullabies, promises to keep
Dandelions and twisting vines
Clover at your feet
Memories of aspen leaves
Trembling in the wind
Honeybees and fantasies
Where to start again some place
Cool an green an shady

Sonnet: God Only Can Cure
Who can unclog the cerebral vessels?
Who can the sclerotic process undo?
Who can salvage the aged bones like shells?
Or reverse Cirrhosis of liver too.
Who can well cure Cardio-myopathy?
Prevent the fibrosis of musculature;
Who can cure hemoglobinopathy,
Or cure cancers except Mother Nature?
There is nothing in his hands, man ought to know;
A natural life, he must venture to live;
To Mother Nature, he must always bow;
Health of mind and body, money can’t give.
Just live today as best as possible;
Let God look after things impossible.

Always marry a summer girl
Summer is forever sunny
like the smile on your face,
wet at times when a storm brews
like the drops on your cheek
in the movies,
lovely pleasant evenings
like I have with you.
Great the feast of summer’s splendour,
green the grass
and fruit everywhere.
Sweet the kisses,
that you give me
and sweeter still that you truly love me.
Cool the water of the pool
when the sun is high,
in a blue summer sky.
Still more cool,
is when you’re with me
and the pleasure of being with you.
Toss confetti and a bunch
of pure white roses or two,
since I want to marry you.
Do not yet give an answer,
since time will tell the right moment
and I love you and I love summer too.

Infatuation
Infatuation is a temporary
emotion. It is ever fleeting,
as a cloud drifting by
As if a tree developing buds.
Their green leaves turn gold,
then brown, finially a wind
blowing them to the ground.
As they lay there, they
return to the earth and they
are gone.
They are ever changing like the
seasons, warm, hot, cool, and
cold.
Cool in Spring, warming up for
the Summer heat and passion.
But as the cool winds of Autumn
begin to blow, they tend to cool
and prepare for the icy chills
of Winter.
So like a lady changing her
attire. Putting on and taking
off her make-up. Ever changing,
so like infatuation

Summer Is Over
(tom springfield / clive westlake)
The night runs away with the day
The grass that was green is now hay
The world goes around without even a sound
And it looks like the summer is over
The rains tumble down in the sky
Young swallows have learned how to fly
The leaves that were green are no longer so green
And it looks like the summer is over
The sun and the moon take turns in the sky
The days drift on by too soon
The meadows are kissed by a cool autumn mist
Far away now is june
The birds fly away to the sun
The leaves touch the ground one by one
The breeze hurries by without even goodbye
And it looks like the summer is over
The sun and the moon take turns in the sky
The days drift on by too soon
The meadows are kissed by a cool autumn mist
Far away now is june
The birds fly away to the sun
The leaves touch the ground one by one
The breeze hurries by without even goodbye
And it looks like the summer is over
And it looks like the summer is over

Ann
You took my arm and you broke my will
You made me shiver wiht a real thrill
You took my arm and we walked along
Down the road to a quiet song
I looked into your cool cool eyes
I felt so fine, I felt so fine
I floated in your swimming pools
I felt so weak, I felt so blue
Ann, my ann I love you ann
My ann I love you right now!

The world is spinning too fast
I'm buying lead Nike shoes
To keep myself tethered
To the days I try to lose
My mama said to slow down
You should make your shoes
Stop dancing to the music
Of Gorillaz in a happy mood
Keep a mild groove on
Ba ba ba
Day dee bop
There you go!
Get the cool!
Get the cool shoeshine!
Get the cool!
Get the cool shoeshine!
Get the cool!
Get the cool shoeshine!
Get the cool!
Get the cool shoeshine!
There's a monkey in the jungle
Watching a vapour trail
Caught up in the conflict
Between his brain and his tail
And if time's elimination
Then we got nothing to lose
Please repeat the message
It's the music that we choose
Keep a mild groove on
Ba ba ba
Day dee bop
OK bring it down yeah we gonna break out
Get the cool!
Get the cool shoeshine!
Get the cool!
Get the cool shoeshine!
Get the cool!
Get the cool shoeshine!
Get the cool!
Get the cool shoeshine!

Real Cool World
So far this love is delightful
The face of seduction was you
But I listened for each and every footstep
In this real cool world
Questioning saintlike and fantastic heroes
Feeling like lost little children in fabled lands
So I listen for each and every friendship
In this real cool world
Now there is you
In my real cool world
Starry-eyed life but somehow believing in nothing
You whisper sweet nothing but reading between your lines
I listen color me doubtful
In this real cool world
Now there is you
In my real cool world
You came from nowhere
You came from nowhere
You held me you shook me
Hey
Its a cool world
Its a cool world
Its a real cool world
Its a real cool world
Its a real cool world
Its a real cool world
Now there is you
In my real cool world
Now there is you
In my real cool world
Mmmm

Autumn Broke Today.
I turned today and Autumn broke
Before my eyes on fields of gold.
Whispered low-key on each haystack
And curled itself through bonfire smoke.
Summer's colour starts unfolding
In cool mists, pales and loses track.
I felt today that Autumn showed
Its hold. Summer, palling, flutters
To the ground. Cracking sound of twigs
Snapping from each tree, as slowly
East wind saps them, then it mutters
Warnings round the wires of riggings.
I sensed today, as Autumn fell
Into hedgerow's berry harvest
Time now to measure well ripe juice,
As chance of losing who can tell?
Nights wrapped in chill will do their best
To blight it, - with Autumn as excuse.
Dear Summer
Dear summer,
It all happen on april 13th
It was the brightest day I have seen
The sun was shinning bright and the air was fresh,
And the green grass remind me why you summer are the best.
I no longer felt down cause you were around
Aand I felt like the luckiest girl cause it was summer I found
I thought of how I could repay you for all the love you gave me
Cause summer your love was simply amazing
You made the dead butterflies in my stomach revive
How can summer this year make me feel so alive?
I could of sworn this summer would last me forever
But everyone would warn me to be a bit clever
Cause seasons always change and weather changes moods.
And when my summer is here she helps the flowers bloom
But the flowers all die when its winter cause of the cold
I guess no one takes heed to what they are told.
Well im sorry my summer but today the sun isn't shining as bright
And when day light savings bbegins I gets colder at night.
Summer I noticed the leaves are starting to die
And the flowers that you love are no longer alive.
All the birds fly north and I just feel empty inside.
All of this is happening summer cause you were a lie.
They're all sick of the false hopes that you have brought them
But maybe we'll all find real love in autumn.

Everything's Gonna Be Cool This Christmas
Remember last year when you were on your own
You swore the spirit couldn't be found
December rolled around and you were counting on it to roll out
But everything's gonna be cool this christmas
Everything's gonna be cool this christmas
Everything's gonna be cool this christmas
Well everybody's waiting for you down at the house
The tree is looking so inspired
There's a yuletide groove waiting for you to move
Come on and throw another log on the fire
And everything's gonna be cool this christmas
Everything's gonna be cool this christmas
Everything's gonna be cool this christmas
Baby jesus, born to rock
As the days go by, the more that we need friends
And the harder they are to find
If i could have a friend like you in my life
Then i guess i'd be doing just fine
And everything's gonna be cool this christmas
Everything's gonna be cool this christmas
Everything's gonna be cool this christmas
