Cushions
When my leaders
Sit in the assembly halls,
For legislation,
With fake brains, fake thoughts,
Fake eyes, fake looks,
Fake existence, fake appearance,
Fake education, fake degrees,
They seem to me
Fake, fake beings,
As if
Some one has placed cushions,
On the sofas and chairs;
Cushions stuffed
With rags of worn out jeans
Or old pieces of sacks
Made of jute.

Fake Out In Buenos Aires
Fake out
Fake in
Fake it to me
What is fake?
Fake t.v.
Land of a thousand fake outs
Fake worse than death
In buenos aires
In buenos aires
Fake out
Fake in
Fakers delight
Fake your claim
Fake around the clock
Winner fake all
Three fakes, youre out
In buenos aires

Black Bruises II
I can ponder upon the blackness,
the garrulous of silence
placated by benign solitude
I can endure the ostracizing
listening to lulling lullabies,
listening to trembling metals,
listening to enraptured echoes,
listening to a soundless shattering,
listening to nothingness,
listening to guffawing crows,
listening to diffident clocks,
listening to the waning time;
but am I the only one listening
to these black bruised whispers?

Always Remember
always remember that when
a fake dog
takes a poise on your sofa
at the middle of your
living room
or your study
try looking
try listening carefully
it never barks.
it is your silly puppy without a mommy
that barks
in the mirror. barking at its image
waggling its tail
the fake ones
do not bark, remember that, and i know that you know
that i know about this plasticity
between us.
it is you that barks
almost every morning when i begin to write a poem
and all the while for years and years
i have always been silent.
that is the difference between us.
and let me tell the obvious. do not be hurt.
i am fake and you are true.you are angry and i never was once.
you breathe. i don't anymore.

Fake Doctors And Fake Lovers
Fake doctors and fake lovers,
Waa it more to expose your degrees of your love? !
For your cultures are now seen around us,
And like the Red Devils in the land of your muse.
Blues, use, bus, be, sub, sue, us;
Of the fake doctors and the fake lovers!
And like the bones scattered at the mouths of the graves,
But among the rocks i will sit and watch your steps.

Some-Fake-A Baked Cake
No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have...
That which I don't.
A peaceless sleep...
Like many who walk 'mean' streets.
No I wont have,
None of that!
Strung out on dope,
Because I can't cope.
No I don't have,
None of that to keep me off track.
Or,
Make an impact.
No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have...
That which I don't.
No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have...
That which I don't.
Psychotic I'm not...
Like the ones who worry a lot.
Or hooked on smoking pot.
No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have,
That which I don't!
No I don't have...
What I do have.
And I do have,
That which I don't!
Even though...
Some-fake-a baked cake.
Some-fake-a baked cake.
Some-fake-a baked cake.
And I wont have...
None of that.
Even though...
Some-fake-a baked cake.
Some-fake-a baked cake.
Some-fake-a baked cake.
And I wont have...
None of that.
No!
I wont have...
None of that.

Fake Friend(Revised, In Line Form, Oh and Viewable
The poison seeps from of your eyes.
I can read your lies.
Pure and innocent are dead and gone.
Fake it just fake it.
Pretending your some thing your not.
In the end I win cause I have had been in the alleys.
I've slept in a abandon home to keep from catching cold.
Where were you then my fake friend?
Who do think your fooling?
Do you stop and try to give a ride?
So how bout it my fake friend.
Such a beautiful sharlton.
When I was getting beat up in the courts by five guys for protecting a races rights.
Where were you then my fake friend?
When my house burnt before my very own eyes.
Where were you then?
Hiding behind closed doors like so many times before.
Every thing has been standing still.
I knew the time would come when I would be done with it.
You can't help those who lead.
They'll follow no ones' road but there own.
Judge me not cause don't know how much ambition I truly got.
My fake friend you will not make your failings my own.
For each man women child breaks free of such tyranny.
This is to you my fake friend.

The Listening Week
This is the listening week of the year
Listening-in.
A-cock and alert is the national ear
Listening-in.
All over the land in the country towns,
From the back of the Leeuwin to Darling Downs,
Layers of 'quids' or the odd half-crowns,
They are listening-in.
On the far-flung farms they are round each set,
Listening-in.
The work and the worry they all forget,
Listening-in.
Wherever an aerial soars in space
To the Cup, or the Oaks or the Steeplechase,
To the roar of the ring and the lure of the race
They are listening-in.
In the far outback there are sun-tanned men,
Listening-in.
Where the woolshed stands by the drafting pen
Listening-in.
Old Dad's come in from the Ninety Mile;
He scored on the Cup and he wears a smile,
And he 'reckons this game is well worth while'
So he's listening in.
To the edge of the desert the sound-waves go;
And, listening-in,
Ned of the Overland, Saltbush Joe
Listening-in
Recall the giants of years long past,
And the loneliness of these spaces vast;
But they reckon that life's worth living at last
With this listening-in.

Listening
Listening.
And being there for someone loved...
To do just that!
With a mind willing,
To be receptive and clear...
Of opinions sitting,
On the tip of one's tongue.
With a giving of attention,
And staying mum.
Listening to someone.
Listening is not easily done.
For those who have experienced...
A life in which peace of mind has come.
When a listening ear,
Had not been volunteered by no one.
And some who know this...
Do their best to sit with patience.
Listening with no other reason...
But to be there as is wished.
For someone who has selected you,
Just for this.

Circle The Drain
I've got myself deep this time
Tons of frustration builds in mine
And it shows me nothing
It shows me nothing at all
Circle the drain
Backward solace right from your side
And you sit and criticize
Shows me nothing
It shows me nothing at all
Circle the drain
I don't need it...I don't
It shows me nothing
It shows me nothing at all
Circle the drain
I don't need it...I don't

Started out trying to fake a smile
Disalusion - im in denile
There's something missing
Cause I can't feel a thing
I'm Desinitized!
You can fake this
And I can't take anymore
I'm not so tough
I can't ignore..
You can fake this
And I can't take anymore
I'm not so tough
I can't ignore..anymore!
All this confusion is running deep inside my head.
How long can I keep this up
Before I end up dead!?
I can't beleive it
it could come to this
It's only feelings
so I can't resiste
Apology for sittin on my ass
I'm trying to beleive in something
You can fake this
And I can't take anymore
I'm not so tough
I can't ignore..
You can fake this
And I can't take anymore
I'm not so tough
I can't ignore..anymore!
Anymore!
Anymore!
ANYMORE!!

All The Woman
Dont walk crowded streets
Choose every dream from a magazine stand
I dont buy into that
All day tv shows
Sell their souls just to make living easy
I dont buy into that
I dont need satin and lace no no no
Ill bring a smile to your face
Ill never be a fire but I will be the flame
Ill never be a diamond but Ill never be fake
No Ive never been a winner but I still play the game
Cant you see this is me
Im all the woman that I wanna be
Good times cant get enough
Life can be tough but its all for a reason
I sure buy into that
Life goes around and around
We seek what we found cause its all an illusion
I sure buy into that
I know the waters of fate
Will keep on flowing my way
Ill never be a fire but I will be the flame
Ill never be a diamond but Ill never be fake no no
Ive never been a winner but I still play the game
Baby cant you see this is me
Im all the woman that I want
Ive never been afraid of myself
I dont buy into that I dont buy into that
I dont wanna be nobody else I dont buy into that I dont buy into that I dont buy into that
Ill never be a fire but I will be the flame be the flame
Ill never be a diamond but Ill never be fake oh no no no
Ive never been a winner but I still play the game
Baby baby cant you see that this is me Im all the woman that I want all I wanna be
Ill never be a fire but I will be the flame be the flame
Ill never be a diamond but Ill never be fake oh no no no
Ive never been a winner but I still play the game
Cant you see this is me
And Im all the woman that I wanna be

Listening to Their Lack of Facts
They claim to be in self defined exile.
Losing a grip on crushed realities.
None lived to believe in...
And still they wish them pleased.
Sitting on the brink of total change.
And they keep a faith...
Followed and fake.
Listening to their lack of facts,
From a brain that has missed the train...
Offers little satisfaction,
To those who aren't insane.
Exposed they are,
To show their consciousness.
And grateful to meet someone...
Doing the best that can be done.
Taking life as it comes...
Without the sharing of complaints.
Or trying to find some.
Busy bees with mental freezes...
Listening to their lack of facts.
In any season,
You'll see them in packs.
Discussing new blues!

0008 A Ghazal
I lie awake as the light night-rain falls, listening
to its irregularities, listening
as the breeze blows it now and then
against the window and the curtain flutters; listening
and wondering if I can hear
the rain listening
to itself, as if – I sometimes think I hear this –
there’s a moment just before it stops as if listening
to its own decision to stop, as if it sighs,
thinks, that’s enough; it could be listening
to the gratitude of the closed flowers, the wet earth,
the ecstasy of roots which are themselves listening
to the flowers sleeping, sighing in their sleep.
But do you wonder why I’m listening
instead of sleeping, this warm rainy night?
What’s so important that it needs my listening?
It was the rain that woke me; and as I turned, sighed,
it was the thought of you last night here next to me, listening
not to me, but to your own dreams – which I may never share;
though I may share you in my listening
to your sweet sleep’s breath, felt faintly on my shoulder;
and so, there’s a question in my listening –
did you awake at the same night rain, you so far away,
awake, sigh, and in your half-awakened listening
know that I too, thought of you?
Sighed that sweet thought, of our shared, single listening? …
As the perfume of a rose may be more evocative than the rose,
So sweeter, steadier than thought, dream, memory – the listening!

Stupid Girl
You pretend you're high
Pretend you're bored
Pretend you're anything
Just to be adored
And what you need
Is what you get
Don't believe in fear
Don't believe in faith
Don't believe in anything
That you can't break
You stupid girl
You stupid girl
All you had you wasted
All you had you wasted
What drives you on
Can drive you mad
A million lies to sell yourself
Is all you ever had
Don't believe in love
Don't believe in hate
Don't believe in anything
That you can't waste
You stupid girl
You stupid girl
Can't believe you fake it
Can't believe you fake it
Don't believe in fear
Don't believe in pain
Don't believe in anyone
That you can't tame
You stupid girl
You stupid girl
All you had you wasted
All you had you wasted
You stupid girl
You stupid girl
Can't believe you fake it
Can't believe you fake it
You stupid girl
You stupid girl
Can't believe you fake it
Can't believe you fake it
You stupid girl

Reality Shows Tells Us Gossip
In this planetary dream
we have gossip which can get extreme.
It puts us in a more living hell
for people on reality shows have to tell
tell something bad to bring up the ratings
do something drama filled to be degrading.
But this puts us all into more of a living hell
we don't know this but we learned it well.
We learned when we where young
when our lives had just begun.
We learned to gossip to make us feel better
by listening to adults go on about people to the letter
Gossip gets old really fast—
ruined relationships that never last.
Why not more funny shows—
the kind where there are actors that nobody knows.
There is of course these shows that make you think
not hearing about someone else's stink.

These 'Paying The Consequences' Days Being Paid
They are all over the place.
There is no escaping from them.
Acknowledging their presence...
Is all that it takes.
Denying they exist,
Creates your own heartache.
To either fake or pretend...
An affect they have made,
Has not begun to seep deep...
Under your skin.
They are...
All over the place!
Deceivers, heartbreakers...
And conflict makers.
Backstabbers igniting,
Divisions with infighting.
Denying they exist,
Creates your own heartache.
To either fake or pretend...
An affect they have made,
Has not begun to seep deep...
Under your skin.
Acknowledge them with a listening.
You may never comprehend.
But an acknowledgement of them...
Will diminish an effect,
Ignoring them begins.
Acknowledge them with a listening.
You may never comprehend.
But an acknowledgement of them...
Will diminish an effect,
Ignoring them begins.
Hasn't the rise of ignoring disrespect,
And the lack of discipline...
Taught anyone 'anything',
About what ignoring 'something' begins?
I bet many are learning...
What paying the consequences means for them.
These 'paying the consequences' days being paid.

~Smile~
We all smile to show our happiness,
We use it a lot, Yes,
Smile can be fake or real,
Its used to show or hide how we feel,
Fake smile is shown when,
Pain in heart rises,
And real smile is shown when,
Unexpected happiness doubles in sizes,
Natural or Not,
But its better to show a real one on the spot,
Let us be honest,
the only time we show the real smile is when someone has touched our heart,
and when we show the fake smile,
is when someone has tear everything apart,
Yes we show our fake smile,
to show people that we are okay so they wont revile,
Its hard to put on a real one as your hurt,
And yes we try to heal it as we flirt,
Its time to face the fact,
Showing a fake smile is like showing a fake and stupid act,
Put every pain to the side and smile for now,
not for someone,
But for everyone,
and show it as we are endowed.
