I don’t know

I lose my patience
The mind is agitated

Rules me
I pray to god

I decide to take lesson

I've seen so many faces
These hands have lied before
I've kissed so many lips it's blocked my mind

Anger and Patience

Any time I don't understand something
Or feel unhappy with the way things are going,
Anger steps up, 'use me; let me help'
And I used to give Anger a lot of free rein,
Till I noticed Anger wasn't all that useful
And generally tended to only make things worse.

Now I try to rely more on 'Patience'
As Patience doesn't keep clicking that counter,
Adding up every resentment of the hour.
Besides, I can look straight into Patience's face
And not have one clue what Patience is thinking of.
You know, Anger could learn something from that.

Lost

I was lost in a world of my own
Traveling through the valleys of my mind
Where there was only space and no time.
A place where minds go to be free
And musicians playing in harmony.

Where voices of the best singers
Would gather around and put
Together the greatest sounds.

A place where you can be yourself
And not have to listen to anyone else.
A place where you can be lost in
the thoughts of your mind
And be there till the ends of your time
A place of imaginations and dreams
And of places seen and unseen.
Everyone no matter who they may be
Has been in this place of mystery.

We start off when we’re very young
A place that we go to have some fun.
Then as we get into our teenage years
We start to travel more and lose our fears.
We start to visualize what we would
Like to be, set our goals, and set
Our hearts and minds free.

Our hearts and spirit so clear and bright
Which turns our darkness into light.
All we see is the clear path ahead
Where so many before have tread.

Definition of happiness

ITS A place we have all been to:

a place were difficulties are forgotten
were only joyful events are certain
its a place you cant go to everyday
when you get there not long enough you can stay
a place safe and secure
a shield that deflects any bad thing that could accrue
a place were poise and pride are not neglected
a place were negative thoughts, ideas are not selected
a place far away from here
a place that does not recognize fear
a place that needs along time to get to
yet you arrive and forget any negative thing you have been through
a place that effects so deep

yet we have all been there I still insist
a place that’s not defined as a dream or a fantasy
a place that is only called happiness and ecstasy

Love Like This

How many times does a love come around
that makes you lose your mind?
Not too many I'm sure,
for a love like that is distant,
usually hard to find.

You wrap yourself within it
And give into the feel of bliss.
You endure the ups, the downs
that come but still know
nothing but this.

This is the world you belong in,
the world that doesn't exist.
This is what you were born for.
And to think that you might have missed
this love is so unthinkable.

Poets write about it. Singers sing of it
but lovers live it each day.
They revel in how it makes them feel
but in their heart does weigh
the fear that it can't last.

Salat

We go for ablution
Before performing Salat
And stand on a clean place for Salat
Because God is the most holy
Then we express our intention to do it
Since at first God wished to create
Then we raise our hands
To surrender to God
Then we recite Surah Al-Fatiha
The best prayer
And couple of other chapters
From the holy Koran
Since they are full of advices
Then we bow and prostrate
To remember God
Since God remembers those
Who remember Him
Then we pray for prophet Abraham
And prophet Muhammad
Since God becomes happy
If we pray for them
At last we convey Salam
To the angels
Who note down our actions
Since they are also our guardians

We do not change the place
Where we stand
During performing Salat
Unless it is absolutely necessary
Since God does not move
But we bow, prostrate and sit in Salat
Because God’s body can move
Inside His glow

We bow in Salat
To show our respect towards God
We prostrate in Salat
In utmost awe and surprise
Imagining we are touching at first
Right foot of God’s body
With our hands, forehead and nose
Then we do it again
Imagining God’s body
Has moved a little bit
From Right to left
And we are touching
Left foot of God’s body

We do not eat, drink and enjoy sex
During Salat
Since God’s body doesn’t do these things
We do not sleep and drowse
During Salat
Since God’s body doesn’t do these things
We do not tell lies and say worthless things

That’s why Salat is the best worship
And the easiest way to please God.

Through My Eyes

I believe-
I believe my thoughts are being broadcasted
I believe you can see my world through my eyes-
When your eyes are closed, I believe that you can hear my thoughts
My thoughts that speak of persecution and threat
These thoughts, as directed towards the rest of the world.
I place my hands over my eyes so that
What is inside of mind does not become
The literature of other people-
Even though my thoughts are silent
When your eyes make contact with mine,
All that I am thinking screams out to you and
I know you wish to harm me.
I believe-
I believe I am being threatened
Being threatened by those who follow my path,
Walking behind me, and somehow
Knowing my destination-
The leaves upon the trees have fallen in autumn and
Now the trees are barren, and I have no place to hide.
This whole world has become the enemy.
I believe my thoughts are broadcasted as I walk,
Kicking aside stones and the leaves that have fallen-
Snow has fallen upon the edge of time and
I stand upon the edge of time, counting the minutes-
Counting every second before the whole world knows of
The anger, hurt and my thoughts misconstrued,
That are torturing me every day and every night-
All I can do is to keep on walking and hope
That one day this mistrust of the world shall
Heal inside my troubled mind and somebody’s eyes
Will make contact with mine and say
“it doesn’t matter to me what you are thinking because
You are a person with a heart and a soul like everyone else and
I believe we all have faults-“ I look towards the sky searching for an increment of hope A world exists inside of me- a beautiful world I hope someday will not matter
If I let somebody inside to see- to know my destination and
I won’t need to hide anymore- when spring comes flowers shall blossom and
Leaves shall grow in the summer- and in the autumn leaves shall turn colors and fall-
I shall continue my journey towards the day I can learn to trust the world around me,

He could slap me through my heart

No sleep

I struggled hard and made futile fight
It was flooding me with thoughts as light
Mind fully awakened to venture in unknown places
Friends, foes, relatives and others troubled with faces

I had done no quarreling with anybody and bothered
Yet they were coming in mind one after another
I became restless and decided to leave the bed
It was totally useless to think and to be fed

You become hero in all the actions
Solve all the problems without any reactions
You have all the options to think over leisurely
But in turn loose good amount of sleep surely

Once you start thinking then won't reach anywhere
It will push you from one end to another
You will be struggling very hard to come over
But there won't be any clue as how to find cover

You may come out of room and start looking at the sky
Stars may also not come to your help even after full try
I know one solution much to everybody's surprise
But you keep it to yourself and will have to promise

I started praying to get sound sleep or find
It is nice way to come out from restless mind
The time cloaked morning seven when I got up
Birds were singing and tea was ready in cup

I was not woken up by anyone as they knew
They might have seen me moving here and there with over view
I was not sore over last night's sleepless stage
But any how not failed completely but managed

Human mind is compared to the eruption of volcano
That may happen all of sudden and you won't know
Same way here with peaceful mind but loosing ground
No where near peace of mind and feeling sound

But I love the stage as many things happen in rage
You feel certainly big personality and try to manage
You are the lone character to think it with pleasure
As you are fully aware that there is no one to ask you for sure

Getting Away

I’d like to get away, to some place I have never been
so that I’ll be able to see what else there is to be seen.
The world as it is now is all full of joy and sorrow
like it was yesterday and will be again tomorrow.

Please let me get away from here to some better place
‘cause where I am now has become cramped in space.
There are many others around who also feel the squeeze
and who long to be apart to inhale a clean fresh breeze.

Why don’t we all get away from here before it is too late?
and this fortunate chance to go cannot much longer wait.
The need must be looked after now and has to be fulfilled
if we don’t do something about it our aspiration is killed.

To look back and think we’ll be leaving much behind
is because of our attachment an obvious human kind.
When we get to where we’re going we’ll soon all realise
the effort has been worth it and beyond any compromise.

So let’s pack our bags to go and get away from here
taking with us all our courage which overcomes fear.
The world’s such a big place and there is a long way to go
who knows what else’ll befall us before that end will show.

We should only take with us those things we’ll most ever likely need
as all the rest belong to the past and will be a burden to carry indeed.
There are also certain things we may find or pick up along the way;
the legacies of all those others who’ve gone before us an earlier day.

We should also leave aside all selfishness and dishonesty before setting off
and we’ll get that fresh start as we get away with nothing at which to scoff.
All our thoughts and actions will be in harmony then with the highest ideal
walking hand in hand with love and truth we’ll reach the place that’s real.

In the future is our hope that there will one day be
a new world full of love with people who are free.
By doing what we truly can and taking special care
we’ll all tread the right path which will get us there.
