Remove the word war out of mind and dictionary

Me and mine in man
Created hate and boundaries
Converted them into countries
Filled
Cast, color, creed and religion
In the minds of people
To possess more and more
Became the ultimate goal
Wars resulted
Killing the innocent
In the name of god,
Land and authority
Became passion of many
Innocent men, women
And children died
Millions wounded
Many lived without limbs
Throughout their lives
Families broke
Lives displaced
For the ego of few
New arms invented
New methods of killing
Designed
Madness continues
From many ages
Leaders talk about humanity
But act like demons
Let the madness end
Throws the arms in the sea
Live like humans
Remove the word war
Out of mind and dictionary
Let the goal be
Love and humanity
Irrespective of
Color, religion or country

The Powers of Hate

Hate is the opposite of love.
These emotions are powerful.
Hate stirs up conflicts and wars.
Discrimination is a cause of hate.

People say hate is a powerful word.
It is indeed a powerful word hate.

Hate brings on Anxiety
Anxiety leads to fear.
Fear brings on anger.
Anger leads to suffering.
Suffering causes death.

This feeling is dark and dreadful.
Hate is represented by the color black.
Such a dark deep color like hate.
In the dictionary there are too many words that mean hate.
Does all Humanity hate each other.

People hate you for your beliefs, interests, dress, even the way you look.
Thinking that hate will be a solved problem is only a madman's dream.

My Wish Is For A Perfect World

The World might well be different if religion and patriotism
died
And if mistrust and greed died with them there would be peace World wide
But with these four still prevalent what hope for harmony
And what hope for love and tolerance for all humanity.

That the clergy bless the troops for war seems hard to understand
To go and throw their lives away for religion and land
That man should kill his fellow man not written in God's will
The fifth commandment clearly state the words 'thou shalt not kill'.

Intolerance, greed and mistrust all of these go side by side
With lust for land and religion and patriotic pride
All these have given rise to wars and yet we've failed to see
The mistakes our fore fathers made nor learnt from history

I am not condemning religion in case you get me wrong
And I have great respect for those who worship God in song
But when religion lead men to war 'tis there the wrong come
in
For wars are caused by ignorance where winners cannot win.

And as for patriotism that has the strangest ring
Of the noble men who died in war the ballad maker sing
They thought it the great sacrifice to give their lives for land
But the most who lived to reap the gain never took gun in hand.

And as for greed and mistrust of those what can one say?
For human self enlightenment I hope to see the day
For all human beings have good in them or so 'twould seem that way
But some can't reach their higher self and somehow go astray

It's up to every individual to live good as they can
To make this world a better world for family of man
To learn more about tolerance and live in harmony
My wish is for a perfect world but that may never be

Independent No Longer

Chaos and Madness. Tools of Man Kind to wield against each other like the sword and bow. Blood shed, a favored event in the devastated minds of soldiers and killers. The innocent cold blood of men and women, children and elders, young and old, is cast upon the beloved mother Earth, and it is here where Rak'Shi, herb of demons, thrives in the tinted crimson stained lands of human battlegrounds. Only we can prevent the world, our very race, from engaging itself to insanity. Least we make the ultimate regret and perish in a massive failure for peace.

Independence ends. We must trust and believe in one another.

Or else, we all take the plunge into Hell, in our growing Holocaust of madness.

Church Street Bomb blast

Forgive
forgive them
who set the bomb
slaughtering nineteen people
wounding and maiming two hundred more
who sit in parliament with blood on their hands
being responsible in ordering numerous killings,
not being held responsible or caring about it now,
killing innocent civilian children, women and men
whose blood, body parts, guts and broken bodies I saw
and now the elements have washed away what was left of some
and yet I will not forget this madness and cruelty, which made man loose all humanity.

Together we live

Together we live
United to believe
Blood is red
It should never be shed

When it flows
Wind also blows
If donated
Bond is created

If move is charitable
All cards are on table
Graph is going high
As the free birds go up in the sky

If turned into bloodshed
Mother earth becomes red
Humanity turns really dead
What is left behind then to read?

Do we want to provide?
Whole of mankind an excuse to divide
Yet another blow to harmonious move
What may we try and prove?

We have no means?
To remove prejudicial scene
But certainly have an alternative
Tell people not to be selective

We will agree on one principle
Keep religion and faith out of trouble
No color, cast or creed to hijack the bus
Induction of full faith may be real force

As I Look Upon The Change

My life has new meaning
As I look upon the change
Thinking will this makes me evil
Believing there is more to god
Than what religions always say
People die because of what they believe in
A story a century old
A martyr a dictator
Compete in life’s mysteries of old
Why do so many souls
Die in what they think is right
How do you say to people?
You are fighting for your life
Tears flow as people die
On both sides of the fence
Then the loss of loved ones
Turn to so much hate instead
The breeding ground of war
Is that what we live for?
Passing on to our children
A war torn field of death
Clash’s, riots an ongoing siege
Simply because
It’s what you’ve been taught to believe
I use to believe in my religion
Till I saw the terrors it breeds
No matter what year or decade
Or religion you believe
What it all comes down to
Is killing in what you believe
One simple question
Thou shalt not kill
Is that not a law?
That all religions believe
Call me what you will
An evil child with forked tongue
I believe in Humanity
One love, all equal
In our lives games of sin
For ever to be faithful, as Bob Marley said
One heart, one love, to give to those who believe in love

To my Moslem friends

If truly great is the love
of God and man,
why do people
kill themselves
and murder others
with suicide bombs?

Why do they believe
that killing the innocent,
will take them straight
to paradise
and a string of virgins?

Rather most religions teaches
that sinners go
straight to hell,
or did somebody forget
to tell them this?

Do they really think
that there’s glory in killing
and that this monstrous deed
is a kind of virtue?

Somehow when religion
turns to hate,
God is lost from the equation.

The Innocent

The start of Armageddon
It was just another day
We all saw the news, nothing to say
So many friends are missing
And family members gone
So we all pray that God help them be strong
And now we stand together
Remembering that day
The lives we live will never be the same
[Chorus]
And we don't know why
The innocent die
Will this world ever find a way to change?
And we don't know why
But we know it's not right
We don't know why so many had to die
We don't know why so many had to die
Hate has turned to others
For their religion or their skin
But hate can't solve the problem it began
Everyone is angry
People are afraid
And no one knows what decisions will be made
[Chorus]
And we don't know why
The innocent die
Will this world ever find a way to change?
And we don't know why
But we know it's not right
We don't know why so many had to die
We don't know why so many had to die
[Bridge]
And we don't know why (don't know why)
The innocent die (don't know why)
Will this world ever find a way to change?
And we don't know why (don't know why)
But we know it's not right (don't know why)
Will any of us ever be the same?
Will any of this ever be the same?
And we don't know why
The innocent die
Will any of us ever be the same?
Will any of this ever be the same?

Universal World

I hate to say that I haven't found one universal world that doesn't have Any criwes or war
But I feel that everybody wants the piece of the action even when it comes to war
When you are inthe war you are killing people
And all the people died like flies
But the truth was that God made the universal world so that people can
Live in that
But what do we do to the universal word?
We destroy it with bombs and bullets from guns
And sometimes we evenkill the innocent children of the universal World
And let me as you all a thing?
How can you sleep at night knowing that in the war you killed that innocent child that belonged to the universal world
And the parents of that innocent child prays to God for mercy
And they grieve for thir son who died in this brutal war
I speak against war
And I know now it is the time to come together and united the world
Lets choose peace and not war

Your Soul Will Be Left In Despair

A terrorist is but a murderer from that fact they will refrain,
Their barbarous acts are criminal, cruel and totally insane,
They claim they fight for ‘'freedom'', whose they cannot say,
Truth is they are cowards who know no other way.

They even kill their own, innocent people blown apart,
Indiscriminate murderers, how can they think that's smart?
That's why we must be careful from reality these people hide,
They'll even blow themselves apart in their acts of suicide.

They fight for faceless leaders who dictate their evil orders,
While they're living life in luxury, behind another's borders,
These leaders shout out, ‘' die for us '' you will become a martyr,
Killing innocent people, is not in your Gods charter.

No God would ever advocate a killing in his name,
To kill in the name of your saviour, as an excuse it's pretty lame,
Why don't you ask your leaders, would you die if you could,
Their answer to you would be abrupt; they'd say that's not so good.

By killing in this fashion you shame yourself as well,
For what they fail to mention is, you're heading straight for HELL,
If it's the ultimate sacrifice, to die in your Gods name,
Why are your leaders still alive, why wont they do the same?

What they're really saying to you is, while they don't want to lie,
Their life is worth more than yours; they'd prefer they didn't die,
Why would they try to kill themselves, for them there is no need,
They just shout out the orders, while you carry out the deed.

To put them into perspective, the people they will use,
Are women, children and handicapped, that's who they will abuse,
Why give you your freedom, when their aim in life's oppression,
Dictatorship is in their soul, they control with sheer aggression.

They'll then go on their merry way, spending all your treasure,
While you're out dying for them, they're enjoying a life of leisure,
The truth is that these leaders, with all the praise you've showered,
Prefer their life of luxury, every one of them's a coward.

Why do you support these scum, they're taking you for a ride,
Ordering you to murder while they just run and hide,
Why won't someone say to them, we must end all the killing,
To kill for faceless cowards, we are no longer willing.

It's not just innocent people; there are those you leave behind,
Including your own families, are you really so damn blind,
If you continue on your present course, there will only be one winner,
The free will then claim victory, while you'll be left the sinner.

Come join us in democracy, then you can start to live,
Show us you are peaceful, for we can and will forgive,
Join us in liberty, then forever you'll be free,
No more need for killing, together we will be.

Murder is not the answer, it's wrong to extinguish life,
Let us show you freedom; we will rid you of your strife,
If you continue with your brutal ways, you must be made aware,
We will never be defeated while,

In Every Way!

how many people are blind?
how many people are deaf?
how many by choice?
perhaps you still have jobs,
homes, food to eat, medical care.
perhaps you have investments,
a way to retire....
perhaps your family is happy,
and well taken care of...
i hope so for you!

millions of people hurting,
millions in need...
millions of children hungry,
millions who cant get an education.
millions enslaved by poverty,
millions left alone....
people with faces and names.

all of these are normal people.
whatever their language, their religion,
their sexual orientation.
all of these are people just like you.
and many of these have families,
just like you!

is it their fault they're victims?
perhaps they've worked their whole lives.
male, female, young, old.....
all people,
with mothers and fathers....
all people....
and no, America is not free.

the news we watch is tainted.
the truth is hidden from us.
killing people around the world
does not make us free....
books are being banned and burned,
prejudice and discrimination are rampant.
we have forgotten we are responsible for each other,
we have forgotten we are all immigrants here.
there are no illegal people,
all people are just people.
freedom demands equality,
in every way!

Terrorism: War Of Today

TERRORISM, WA OF TODAY
mELVIN bANGOLLAY

This world we lived outlived many war
The war against nation's tyranny
Racial vindication for the weak country
Has made volumes of war history
Of terrorism against all humanity.

Today the war against terrorism
Still waging as a way of showing idealism
By some groups of people with dynamism
To take the lives of innocent victims
By the power of their goons extremism.

Everybody should be aware today
That terrorist knows no limit or boundary
To put the lives of many at their mercy
In their desire to see death everyday
As their joy and ultimate trophy of victory.

We should not let this be an act of patriotism
For the terrorist believes in this idealism
That to take the lives of Christians and Muslims
Is an act of greatness and noble living
For Allah or the Father God dislike this offering.

Along with all Poets in every land or country
I fervently appear to wage war against terror's fury;
I strongly believed that through our pen today
We can heal the wounds of war and tyranny
And light terrorist minds to stop their advocacy.

Sacrifices

Autumn leaves have fallen
across long forgotten battlefields
where deep below the ground
the dead lie asleep.
Their lives torn apart
by some wicked war.
There they have immortality
for they will age no more.
Their sleep is restless
for from their deaths,
no lessons were learnt
and men and boys keep killing
in constant wicked wars.
On the eleventh hour,
of the eleventh day,
of the eleventh month
we stand in silence
to honour their memory
for the sacrifices they made,
but we have never learnt the lessons

This poem is dedicated to the memory of the men, women and children from all countries that have lost their lives in wars that have plagued our world. May their souls rest in eternal peace.
for which their lives they gave
as the killing still goes on and on.

Religions of Man - Part III - or - I See Humanity Drowned

Vacant blank faces
Animal traces
Roaring cacophonous crowd
Motioned by fury
Madness obscuring
Moves onward
Dark hideous cloud
Explosive malevolence
Uncontrolled ignorance
Screaming for bloodiness
Loud
Driven to vengeance
Weapon dependant
Religion
Crept out from its shroud
How can we save you
Embrace or dissuade you
To share with you peace and its sounds
For until something changes
Religion
Its rages
Continues
To rain death around
The conflict
The carnage
Lives wasted
Disregarded
Nothing changes
Down here on the ground
Where is the sanity
I see profanity
I see humanity
Drowned

My friend you talk about my people and me

My friend you talk
about my people and me
being equal
to Hitler and the Germans
of the Second World War,

but do not know
that I and most of us Afrikaners
treated black people
like human beings,

never lifted a hand
against one,
that I knew from being
a toddler that they were
Christians as well

when my mother
gave the money that was left
from my father’s funeral fund
for a church to be constructed
in their own community.

How I saw the effect
of the Church Street bomb
killing innocent civilians
on the street
men, women and children
from any race.

How I was forced
to go to the army
and to war
and patriotic did my duty there

to stop communists killing,
raping and robbing the future
like they did in East Germany,
Hungary in sixty-eight
and with the Portuguese
still living in Mozambique
and in Angola
when that countries
got their independence.

How in Soweto with the army
I had to stop black people
killing black people,
burning their fellow man alive
while their women were
cheering them on

and I saw man more being animals
than human beings
without having any mercy
for each other
having lost all conscience
for their cruel deeds.

You do not know
that I will not quarter
for a country
full of pirates

and not the Orlando
soccer playing type
but people who rob,
kill, maim and rape

that there’s no other escape
for Afrikaner people like me
and nowhere else to go

that I love this land
maybe more than
my forefathers did
who sacrificed
their lives for it

that my great grandfather Japie Strydom
lost his farm in the Cape colony
when as a Cape rebel
he joined the war
against the British,

was almost executed
when the war ended
was imprisoned on St. Helena,

that his wife
died in a British concentration camp
where she was fed finely grinded glass
in the flour given to her

that I want to get rid
of oppression against me
and my fellow Afrikaners
and want to have a life
like any one else.

Mark of respect

Women need it as mark of respect
We all have to think seriously and introspect
When God has made it then why do we stand as suspect?
Has everything got relevance with cast, creed, color or sect?

Yes, color do attract us for certain reasons
It is natural and varies from person to person
But is it the only criteria to hate an individual?
Still we have we to fight against role called dubious or dual?

I salute to those who stand against such move?
They may be threatened with their live or removed
Yet the fight may not be over till it ends
We as an human beings must change our trend

We are in land of peace and liberty
We are equally blessed with freedom from almighty
Why do we create hatred only on the basis of color?
This is not simple matter but serious and major

Some of the people may not speak openly against
But secretly they will bless and insist
That struggle rages on indefinitely
The people are brandished and disappear quietly

It is suppression and blot on humanity
It is not even today discouraged for continuity
Enough blood has been shed and still it remains
Let us do everything which is possible in our domain

The state of the nation (in answer to T.T. Cloete and Clinton V. du Plessis)

The country have got too many people
that fancies themselves but really know nothing,
being in possession of jobs as if they belong there
without any comprehension how to do the work
while employers come in line with affirmative action.

The country have got too many
political leaders who are corrupt
that wants to tread on others as if they are elephant
or want to rip apart, want to slice others into pieces
with too many women
surrounding them like heroes
while they are supplanting others.

There are too many people
that takes that which belongs to others
with force, trying to steal the lives of others
while they play as if it is a computer game
killing farmers on farms, taking the right to existence
and humanity from others.

There are too many people only living for themselves,
trampling others around them
to get somewhere in life
who drive others out of their way,
who will do anything to earn more.

Too few people are still in love and love each other,
know how to protect
the sanctity of the marriage
and in vain lays the blame
with each and every beautiful escort
while the rotting
is already in their own hearts.

There are too many people
streaming in from other countries
with a dream to live here
while there is too little work
for the people that are here
and oppression is in place
over the jobs that exist
as if you want to go back
into the years of racism.
