Talking to God

O Lord, my God, I am a sinner too!
Many a time, I have sinned against You;
No doubt, You’ve given me a newer role;
The things that happen aren’t in my control.

Weak is my frame and weak as well, my will;
I can’t depend forever on my skill;
Tell me O Lord, when things will quite improve;
I am afraid I could make the wrong move.

Without Your help, I am always a naught;
This life on earth is with much danger fraught;
The way things happen makes me disgusted;
This earthly gold, silver too get rusted!

You are my Master; I’m Your servant, Lord;
To stray away from You, I can’t afford;
You are the light that brightens my life dark;
O let me walk thine way and keep my mark!

Sonnet: Why Do I Change My Clinics Frequently?

Why do I start my clinics everywhere?
So far, I have not found the answer yet;
Perhaps, I have to pray and bless the air!
Perhaps, God tests me if I fume and fret.

Whatever happens, I must take with cheer;
In everything I do, God has a plan;
The will of God is not well-known, I fear;
God moulds and shapes to be a better man.

The things that happen to me are so queer;
Nevertheless, I praise the Lord, my God;
My life on earth to me is very dear;
My soul is precious to my Maker, Lord.

I do not ask the ‘whys’ of things these days;
God is my friend, guide, protector always!

The Vessel That I am!

I am a weak vessel.
Strengthen me, O Lord!
Help me fill up to the brim
With virtues of all sorts.

I am a small vessel.
Make me hold more, O Lord!
Take away my porosity;
Let things remain intact.

I am a clay vessel.
Polish my sides, O Lord!
Let me stand most splendidly,
Glorifying my God.

I am a mere vessel,
Distorted somewhat, O Lord!
Place me on a rocky base,
To show the world my class!

The vessel whatever that I am
Will serve Thee only, Lord.
Fill me up with thy grace, O God
To prove that I’m fine clod!

Sonnet: Don’t You Worry

Some things may happen unexpectedly;
No need to fret or fume or feel depressed;
All things do happen for our good only;
Let’s hope that life makes feel less repressed.

We should not change in ways the world expects;
We must not change if principles are lost;
We can adjust to things if world respects;
For everything, there is a risk and cost!

Don’t you worry as God decides all things;
Just take the things as they come up to you;
None can predict the time and things, life brings;
Life brings problems and apt solutions too.

All things in life are transient, ev’n if long;
We have to do things right and not the wrong!

Against Life’s Reason

Friend, when I am weak, I am strong, for The Lord God is my song,
He is my strength and my praise, and my fortress through my days,
When times in life do go wrong, it’s my Lord who makes me strong,
Through God’s Strength, I can’t fail, for in all things God will prevail.

Though I’m poor, I’m truly rich, in wealth beyond man’s earthly pitch,
For earthly man cannot offer me, all I‘ve been promised for Eternity,
Through the riches of one King, who from Heaven, owns everything,
All the Eternal Riches of The Lord, cannot and shouldn’t go ignored.

When I was lost, I was found, then, placed by God on Solid Ground,
Placed upon The Rock of Ages, the One spoken of by God’s sages,
The Eternal Rock, and yet a Lamb, Gods’ only Son, the Great “I Am.”
That Rock, not cut by human hands, to be Salvation for all the lands.

Found by God in the dark of night, I was placed in my Savior’s Light,
Saved from the darkness of my sin, I have obtained New Life in Him,
God’s Son who came to this earth, to offer all sinful men a New Birth,
Our Lord and God’s Only Salvation, sent to the earth for every nation.

Formerly, I was blind, now I see, given sight, by the Lamb of Calvary,
Who became for me God’s Sacrifice, paying for me His Eternal price,
Required by The Holy God above, and sent by Him, to show His love,
This, that I may have Eternal Life, in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Self-motivation

Oh, tell me what to do;
I am in dire straits;
I trust no man on earth;
I don’t know what to do!

My problems are galore;
Time does not favor me;
I have to face what comes;
I am afraid, I’ll fail!

I can’t escape this time?
The odds are against me;
I’m strong but weak again;
Can I set things aright?

Yet, I’ve been quite lucky;
God helped me many times;
I’ve seen worse off problems;
I hope I’ll overcome.

So, let me try again;
I cannot lose my heart;
Courage is my answer;
I’ll face whatever comes.

Failure is part of life;
Success can’t always come;
Hopelessness shouldn’t fill mind;
I’ll pull my strings again!

Whatever comes, I’ll take;
I can’t brood, fume or fret;
Let things happen somehow;
Defeat shall not be mine!

Sonnet-All Happen as God Wants

All things of Nature happen in God's ways;
Each seed and frond; each flower and tree-He grows;
All things must happen in His time and days;
Each life is kindled by the Lord, of course.

Man has a part in everything we see;
Yet, Nature takes the upper hand always;
Unexpected things happen too, may be;
God gives His grace to face well if man prays.

And grief and death must also come some day;
Each tumor grows as per the will of God;
All earthlings are destined to die some way;
We come from dust and must go back to clod.

Yet, prayer can make miracles happen;
Just like how fruits enlarge in size, ripen.

Sonnet: The Futility of Man’s Labors

The ‘why’ of many things is still unknown;
The ‘how’ of certain things, puzzle remains;
The ‘where’ of many things is lesser known;
The ‘when’ of certain things, waxes and wanes.

Most earthly matters are not lucid still;
Most divine things are known not in the least;
Most human achievements are by the ‘will’;
Most natural phenomena aren’t yet pieced.

Sojourn of man on earth has done nothing;
Life-span of man is too short to achieve;
It matters not whether pauper or king;
The man of wisdom does in God believe.

The greatest feats of man on earth are naught;
Compared to Nature, man’s work is a dot!

Hey Lord!

(m&l - deris)
(what is it all about? )
Pleasure of pain
Cold or fire
Love against disdain
Hope or dispair
Thuth of liar
Normal or insane
Do you know what to choose?
It cant happen you lose
Like the stairs nedd the light
No left without right
Hey lord, hey lord
Life is striking as you taugth
Hey lord, hey lord
Time is running, time is short
Hey lord (what is it all about? )
Good or profane
Odd of even
All is face to face
Sinner or saint
Serve each other
Life is called this place
Do you know what to choose?
It cant happen you lose
Like the stairs nedd the light
No left without right
Hey lord, hey lord
Life is striking as you taugth
Hey lord, hey lord
Time is running, time is short
Hey lord
Hey lord, hey lord
Time is running, time is short.
Hey lord, hey lord
Life is striking, life is short
Hey lord
Hey lord, hey lord
Time is running, time is short.
Hey lord, hey lord
Why did you want us so wayhard?

God Means All Things to Me

If not for Your love, dear God,
What would I be?
If not for Your care, dear Lord,
How would I be?

If not for Your affection, God,
Where would I be?
If not for Your kindness, dear Lord,
Could I ‘live be?

If not for Your forgiveness, God,
Would not I feel guilty?
If not for Your protection, Lord,
Can I live safely?

God means all things to me in life;
God is my only Friend in strife;
God is my guiding Light and Way;
He won’t forsake me any day!

A Prayer to Lord, Jesus Christ

O Lord, I want to walk with Thee,
In Thine footsteps to Calvary;
And share the burden of Thine cross,
Thou carried for our sins, Alas!

O Jesus, I must talk with Thee,
All life-time in my life earthly;
Receiving wisdom heavenly,
To tread the path of Thine glory.

O Christ, I want to follow Thee,
To Thine abode- Eternity,
Avoiding sins that hinder me,
From seeing Thee Lord, finally.

Sonnet: Rededication to God

Show me O God, the things I ought to do;
’Tis better that I act as per your wish;
My desires of life could anger you;
For, man by birth remains sinful/ selfish.

You only know what for you’d made me, God;
Let me perform the roles you assign me;
Success or failure needs your divine nod;
With duty done, I see Eternity.

Restrain me Lord from doing sinful deeds;
My time is short and keeping soul pure, tough;
From birth, you cater to my earthly needs;
Just help me Lord when weather turns too rough.

My life, I surrender to you, most High;
Your Will’s my goal on earth until I die!

Life

We have to take some risks
To do some things in life;
We have to do some things,
Despite the added strife!

We have to weigh the risks
To benefits in each;
We can’t do things in haste
For aims in life to reach.

We cannot waste our time
God-given, precious-most;
Time is the same to all
To labor or is lost.

For everything in life,
We ought to make a start;
There is so much to do
Before we can depart.

A lazy-bone is one
Who never can find time;
We have to work all life
In any type of clime.

True greatness comes to few
Who struggle right from birth;
No one is born just great
But makes it upon earth!

The World of Chaos

When things don't happen as we want in life,
Must we then fret and fume and worry much?
When things go wrong, must we complain to God?
Just think about those more unfortunate!

Our earthly life has ups and downs for all;
The God of fairness cares for all creatures;
But man has made the earth sadder to live;
Why blame the God of goodness for our strife?

Millions of people can't afford one meal;
Many live shelterless and half-naked;
The middle class is burdened by much tax;
Elected leaders enjoy power and pelf.

The common man in misery is found;
Heinous crimes keep mounting high every day;
Basic amenities are denied to most;
If Nature works untimely, all is lost!

And man forgets the God who provides him;
He does not thank the Giver for His grace;
Men think they achieve things by own efforts;
Their hearts seek God when troubles afflict them!

Confidence Please

You have done your best;
Leave to God the rest;
Things will soon be fine;
You will also shine!

God knows each one’s heart;
You have done your part;
He does things on time,
Even in worst clime.

Things may look now wild;
Pray fervently, child;
God can wonders do,
To satisfy you.

Let His Will be done;
Victory will be won;
‘Ask and you shall get;
Knock, the door will let! ’

Don’t sulk, fume or fret;
God can do things yet;
Put your trust in Him;
Life will look less grim.

Accept what God gives;
By His word, man lives;
Miracles are true,
Like the sun and dew.

Never give up hope;
All things you can cope;
Don’t query the Lord;
He is Master, God!

Keep your cool in life;
Just ignore your strife;
Things don’t remain same;
Keep alive your aim.

Pray and pray to God;
You will get His nod;
Wait with patience, dear;
There’s nothing to fear!

Sonnet: God’s, the Almighty One

Renounce your sins and come back to the Lord!
Pour out your heart and make it burden-less;
Penance gives you the mercy/ grace of God,
And freedom from the tempter’s ruthlessness.

All things happen as per the Word of God;
He is the Almighty, our Creator;
A soul that’s dead in sins can’t praise the Lord;
God is a Friend, our Guide and our Mentor.

The Lord has eyes to see our every act;
Our God has ears to hear our every call;
With man alone, He has offered a pact,
To raise him up if ever should he fall.

Our life on earth shall pass in just moments!
So, let us live our days with God’s prudence.

Afraid V.s. Knowing

i have two side,
but, don't we all?
one afraid to face challenge,
but, the other side know,
i'll will make it through,
even in the times,
life doesn't seem to matter,
i have a feeling i will be fine,
even when everything feels,
crazy and out of control,
a part of me still knows,
life gets hard,
but i have to fight through,
who else is going to do it for me?
i'm learning along the way,
that it's okay to be afraid,
of the things,
i can no longer control,
because in the end,
there's a reason,
for why things happen,
being afraid is an emotion,
i'm not use to,
it was the other part of myself,
i wasn't accepting,
but, now it's apart of me,
because it's who i am,
human like everybody else.

Sonnet: A Prayer to God

Amidst all chaos Lord, bring order God;
Amidst the darkness Lord, show me Thine light;
Amidst the atheism, give me Thine word;
Amidst my weakness show, Thine divine might.

Amidst life’s sultriness Lord, give me breeze;
Amidst the mire Lord, could Thou me pull?
Amidst life’s stresses Lord, give me mind’s peace;
Amidst the storms of life, give me a lull.

Amidst my despair Lord, give me new hope;
Amidst my temptations, God, let me win;
Amidst life’s hilly tracts, show me a slope;
Amidst my struggles Lord, let me not sin.

Amidst my foes and woes, show me haven;
Amidst my worldliness, give me Heaven.

My Yoke

Bound by my faults;
Yoked to my past;
Tied to my problems;
Chained by my sins;
This is the way,
I spend each day;
And life goes on,
Since I was born!

My yoke pulls me down;
My heart feels so torn;
My feet stagger too;
My duties, I can’t do;
Devils love to see
Me never, ever free;
With mind in despair,
My body cannot bear!

Yet, I must break my yoke;
I must free my chains;
I must walk upright;
I must walk in the light;
The Holy Spirit
Can make me fit;
I can overcome
Whatev’r temptations come.

Why must I worry?
Why must I hurry?
The past, let me bury;
God, I am sorry;
Lord, keep me steadfast;
Let me not be aghast;
My troubles cannot last;
Soon, they’ll be things of past!

When God’s with me,
He makes me free;
My yoke feels light;
My life is bright;
My strength returns;
For God love burns;
All things are fine;
When God is mine!

Sonnet: Why Waste …?

Why waste your voice, extolling men on earth,
Who don’t deserve the smallest praise, you give?
Why waste your life in earthly aims since birth,
When there are better things for which to live?

Why waste your talents, earning name and fame,
When nothing we can take back when we die?
Why waste your precious days in acts of shame,
When we can thank the Lord and God, Most High?

Why waste your labor, building things that break,
When you can share the love of God with all?
Why waste your life in taking risks to make
One skyscraper, that must anytime fall?

Why waste God-given time in sin and vice,
When God expects us to remain soul-wise?

God, Come to my Aid!

I am tired;
I am weak;
Fighting devils
Throughout lifetime.

I’m confused;
I’m depressed;
Fighting world
Afilled with vice!

How longer, God
Can I patient be?
I feel all lost
In my misery.

This world is too much
For my tender heart;
Man is more beastly
Than I ever, thought.

When will things improve,
O God, I always ask?
Is life worth living,
And complete my given task?

God, come to my aid;
Rejuvenate me, Lord;
I feel akin a wounded bird,
Many times, shot!
