Sonnet: The Righteous Succeed Anyday
An honest man gets into trouble soon;
Hard labor makes a man weary with ease;
Yet, Honesty will always be a boon,
Though troubles keep coming and may not cease.
In world so bad, virtues are hard to keep,
While vices catch all persons with great ease;
Nevertheless, there is nothing to weep;
The Tempter too, its labor will not cease.
Then, how the Righteous cope on earth somehow?
'Tis God who guides and protects them from harm;
For upright men, so great is Maker's love;
His heart's a furnace of love truly warm.
The man of virtues yet sees success fast;
He needn't worry of future or the past.

Sonnet: The Lord Decides All Things
My happiest day is approaching me fast!
The day God solves all problems nagging me;
I can then breathe with ease like in the past,
And see a future that will be rosy.
Till then, I should endure whatev’r things be;
Each person’s path of life looks different;
Yet, labor hard will bring success surely;
There is no point in turning impatient.
The lord who’s just, will answer my prayers;
Just put your trust in Him and look ahead;
No 0ne can tell the earth’s different layers;
No one predicts when he’ll surely be dead.
The Lord decides when troubles must abate;
He only knows each one’s predestined fate.

Sonnet: God is Beside His Righteous Souls
God loves His righteous people immensely,
And cares for them, protecting them always;
The snares of evil men can't harm truly;
With ease, the righteous on earth spend their days!
The Maker wages wars and wins them all;
The righteous feel secure with God beside;
God watches them and hears their every call;
The righteous shun all vices and all pride!
God plans the future of His beloved souls;
Nothing can go amiss in His schedule;
The non-believers are all merely fools;
Awards/ rewards come without any rule!
God will not lose a single righteous soul;
All righteous too have celestial a goal!

Sonnet: Our Earthly Life is Ephemeral!
Remember man, this earthly life will fade;
All glory gained will also vanish fast;
Just think about God’s love that had us made;
Our achievements will become things of past.
Money cannot give us joys permanent;
Our labor needs God’s blessings all the time;
God’s earth is where we live as His tenant;
We need His grace for success in bad clime.
We needn’t worry about our earthy needs;
The soul needs utmost care right from our birth;
Good soil alone can sprout good trees from seeds;
Our aim must be to reach heavenly mirth.
Let mist of sins not block heavenly gaze;
Let’s live a righteous life, with Maker’s grace.

I Keep The Head High
An eye sees everything
But the other does not…
An ear hears everything
But the other does not…
What an honest combination!
A mind sees your virtues
But the same mind sees your vices…
A heart longs for you dear,
But the same heart rejects your love near…
What a dishonest mindset it is you think!
But among the blind around,
Then among many a deaf
And the heartless beasts that surround
You have to know my dear,
I ever keep my head high.

As Far As My Eye Can See In My Body’s Senses
All the trees all their branches all of their leaves
The grass at the foot of the rocks and the houses en masse
Far off the sea that your eye bathes
These images of day after day
The vices the virtues so imperfect
The transparency of men passing among them by chance
And passing women breathed by your elegant obstinacies
Your obsessions in a heart of lead on virgin lips
The vices the virtues so imperfect
The likeness of looks of permission with eyes you conquer
The confusion of bodies wearinesses ardours
The imitation of words attitudes ideas
The vices the virtues so imperfect
Love is man incomplete

The tendency of taxation is to create a class of persons who do not labor, to take from those who do labor the produce of that labor, and to give it to those who do not labor.

Sonnet: A Prayer for Myself
Let me be poor like Thee Jesus, my Lord;
Let me be wise and keep on earth, my soul;
Let me live life, not on my own accord;
Let me then work for my Heavenly goal.
Let me not seek only pleasures and joys;
Let me labor till sweat falls to the soil;
Let me in sadness too, thank God- rejoice;
Let me the Tempter’s evil designs foil.
Let me be humble and patient to all;
Let me be kind and love my neighbor’s small;
Let me be honest, remain not a wall;
Let me not ever miss my Maker’s call.
Let me do things that my conscience suggests;
Let me not sin or fail my Maker’s tests!

Hell Awaits Evil Doers
The modern world seems crazy to the core;
We strike a balance in most things we do;
Money appears to solve problems many;
Muscle does some things that money cannot.
The Media makes celebrities o’er-night;
Influence guides bureaucrat’s decisions;
Merit is given a back-seat most times;
Merchants make money paying taxes least.
Most honest citizens are taxed the most;
Success smiles on men without conscience;
The righteous eke a livelihood of toil;
The lazy ones make money rather fast.
God allows ghastly crimes to happen too;
Nevertheless, both good and bad things end;
The evil-doers have a mighty crash;
God gives a longer rope to most such men.
This does not mean that dishonesty lasts;
The wicked suffer punishments on earth;
They fizzle out like soap-bubbles in sun;
Untruth can’t rule the roost on earth for long.
Reality will bring justice to all;
The day of reckoning will seal all fates;
All evil hearts can’t escape God’s judgment;
Their harm will be disclosed in great detail.
God’s mercy may not save them from Hell’s fire;
The upright souls will get rewards from God;
The God of goodness loves the righteous;
He takes them to His own Abode- Heaven.

I Crave For Success
I dream the future without the past
Of when my success will be a blast
Intent of heart, I see the best
Hope for the future, with God I rest.
I crave for success, I hope for hope
God start the process, I crave to cope.
I see a flash, a flash of hope
I'm up the mountain, nomore the slope
Lord take me higher, Lord take me up
Mobilize the process, and do not stop.
I crave for success, I hope for hope
God start the process, I crave to cope.
Night and day, I hope in silence
The possibility of a future so dense
If I persevere, and continue hoping
Then my future will cease from joking.
I crave for success, I hope for hope
God start the process, I crave to cope.

Sonnet: Life Has Mixed Fortunes
If not for fools, how can some be called wise?
If not for blunders, how can learning thrive?
If not for cowards, brave men would be mice;
If not for honey-bees, where is the hive?
If not for evil, what use would be good?
If not for vices, where would be virtues?
If not for money, where would be sainthood?
If not for worldliness, God needn't review.
A corrupt world makes honest folk steadfast;
An unfair world sets good men fight a cause;
A rainy day comes from a sky o'er-cast;
Our food must have both bread and to dip, sauce.
If not for darkness, why should man need light?
If not for devils, men wouldn't need God's might,

Sonnet: Man’s Logic Fails
I wonder what my poems will fetch me;
I’ve built a skyscraper all on my own;
With labor hard, I’ve hurried earnestly;
Yet, when it comes to poetry, most frown!
I swam the seas so perilous, alone!
I saw some sharks and whales that ‘troubled’ me;
The water was so spine-chilling to bone;
I’ve reached the coastline on my own safely.
Great men have had their days of agony;
The world will tease all honest man with ease;
Yet, God denies me some extra money,
Which I presume could give me mental peace.
My logic isn’t correct for God is wise;
How can one guard one’s soul while playing dice?

Sonnet: By His Stripes!
Oh, let the Hand of God well strike the chord,
Restoring harmony back in my life;
The peace of mind and heart, bestow me Lord;
Deliver me from every vice and strife!
So many years have rolled by very fast;
My life was filled by struggles of all types;
Let me forget the blunders of the past;
Forgive my every sin made, by Your Stripes!
Now triumph smiles again, giving me joy;
My labor hard has paid off finally;
Oh, help me breathe with ease and life enjoy;
Do add me to Your righteous souls’ tally!
’Tis time I gave more time for my soul’s care;
If not for You, my life would have been bare!

Hidden Treasure
Why sea is so deep and beyond our reach?
Why everybody do not dive and catch?
The long treasured priceless items
Where as it is open for all and them
If you take sea as vast holder of knowledge
Certainly it has to be out maneuvered at its edge
You have to risk life and dive deep
There lies secret wealth under the belly and sleep
It is completely hidden in hard shells
So many wonders lye with them to tell
Not only about the origin but its vastness
How many secrets are buried there no one knows to see and face?
Same is with the knowledge and its secrets
You have to work hard and put in more efforts to get
Whole life may prove countless for attaining mastery
That is how it has been set by almighty
The efforts and labor never go in vain
Nothing is achieved without hard work or pain
It may test sweet if attained after great struggle
People say' life is useless if spent without any trouble'
Each individual has its own caliber and capacity
Not all are lucky to get whatever they want with best quality
No doubt, human being will never be satisfied
But honesty and hard labor brings in joy and hopes are not bellied
Enjoy the fruit and pass it on to others
If it is knowledge then definitely share
If it is wealth of great importance
Put it to human use at once
Wealth and fame come not by chance
It has long history of down fall and rise at once
If you successfully can ride on high waves
For anything else you may be in position to venture and dare
I salute to those who gamble and reach the shore
Life is gamble and risk has to be taken therefore
Life may give you no charm if spent aimless
Let us come out of idleness and meaningfully chase

Love's Labor Lost
It’s been a long, lonesome struggle…
towards the end of life
I find myself in circles
as if - love’s labor lost
You keep coming and going away
in myriad dreams and dithering thoughts
agonizing tears wet my soul…
how could I’ve loved you so much!
Those sparkling eyes
that voice of yours
have never let me down
in fantasies, when reality speaks…
dreams are all over
as if: love’s labor lost
You were never there for me
how could you, when you were hers
you loved her, she loved you back
what a sweet story…
for you, it may be
for me, love’s labor lost
Falling in love was easy
consequences unthought of…
your mesmerizing aura
made me forget how reality bites –
and it does bite hard!
Just as death draws nearer
my destiny’s games are over
It made a fool of me
gave me all but you...
My thirst for your love remains
an unfulfilled wish, a dying desire
perishing off with this body...
Yes – it truly is love’s labor lost!

What We Teach Our Children By: Cay Thorne
If a child sees abuse in any form -
They will become abusers in any form;
If a child sees love;
They become lovers and romantics at heart
If a child sees loyalty and trust;
They know how to be loyal and trustworthy.
If a child sees hatred to all things and humans
They will live without love and kindness.
If a child knows encouragement and praise;
They will show encouragement and praise to all.
If a child sees peace and happiness;
They will show love and happiness to all mankind.
If a child sees violence;
They learn to be violent to anything and everything.
If a child sees bullying at home as a victim;
They become a criminal to satisfy the hunger.
If a child sees charity;
They learn to show charity to others.
If a child sees you help others in need;
They become helpers to all in need.
If a child learns how to be raciest in all forms of the word;
They WILL learn the true meaning of racism and hatred –
Which shows non of the virtues;
That we need to live with to stop;
All the kinds of EVIL in this world today.
If a child sees all the virtues that are out there in the world today;
They will show these virtues to all mankind and no matter who the person is.

Sonnet- You Can't Have Opposites
When vices, virtues are but parallel lines,
The former moves backward, latter forward;
No one can take the mixture of such wines;
No one can be both fish and also bird.
There isn't a hybrid of vices, virtues;
There isn't a place where both of them can meet;
Just one and only one, a man must choose;
You can't have Heaven's joy and Hell's great heat!
The virtuous way is like climbing a hill;
The road to vice is like slipping from one;
While God rewards Heaven as former's bill,
The latter, yields hell's eternal fire-den!
One can't be both a good and bad a man;
You try to have Heaven and hell, how can?

Olympics in India?
Can India host an Olympics?
–Not in the next decade;
A lot of work has to be made;
This isn’t a bag of tricks!
A lot of stadia must be built;
Tremendous planning, this involves;
’round labor, money, this revolves;
’Tis not walking on stilt!
The country must be united;
Perseverance must be our aim;
There is no thing called ‘Lucky Dame’!
Hearts must be ignited.
Corruption must be thing of past;
Sports-persons must be truly trained;
The lazy persons must be caned;
We ought to prepare fast.
There are no short-cuts to work hard;
We ought to put our minds and hearts;
All leaders, bureaucrats have parts;
We must spring like leopard!
Patriotism must be prime;
All states must well participate;
And things must be done before date;
The constraint is just time!
Ban ‘strikes’ forever, from now on;
Each moment is so precious;
There is no place for cheats, liars;
Olympic dress, all don!
A billion persons, India has;
Merit-based talents are the keys;
All influencing must too cease,
Like journeying to far Mars!
Unite, we must and not divide;
Why fight over a plot of land?
All have a role in any band;
Brotherly love is pride!
And learn from China, India must;
They struggled hard to win the gold,
With advantages manifold,
And Olympiad thirst!
‘Where there’s a will, there is a way! ’
India can be a Super-pow’r!
Industriousness must be cover;
And soon ’twill be D-Day!

I Love The Word Hope
I love the word hope 'tis a great word it keeps reminding you when you are down
That in many ways you are lucky you are not the worst off in the town
Compared to some you are quite lucky and though you may not be one of the privileged few
There's hope and comfort in the thought that many are worse off than you.
I love the word hope it seems positive to hope for the good days ahead
For life for you is scarce worth living if the hope in your heart it is dead
To hope for a better tomorrow is the thing that keeps us keeping on
For you do not have much to live for if hope out of your life is gone.
I love the word hope it's uplifting for those who are feeling quite low
For as they say hope springs eternal and out of hope success can grow
And one can only see a dark future for one who is struggling to cope
If that person has lost the great gift the gift that we all know as hope.
I love the word hope it's a great gift those who have it in them have fight
They keep on going through the dark tunnel till finally they reach the light
And when you retain hope through your hard days you are telling the World I'm alive
For without it life on you much harder and you find it so hard to survive.

Great abilities produce great vices as well as virtues.
Sonnet: Vices
’Tis easy slipping down any ladder;
’Tis easy to tumble down the hillside;
’Tis easy to fall down from a tree-top;
’Tis easy to slip off footboard of bus.
’Tis hard to climb the rungs of Life’s- ladder
’Tis hard to ascend the steep mountain- side;
’Tis hard to climb the slippery tree-trunk
’Tis hard to keep Balance on alcohol!
’Tis hard to maintain virtues in one’s life;
’Tis hard to maintain the balance of mind;
’Tis hard to do just the good things in life;
’Tis hard to keep off from wine, women, sex.
’Tis easy to contract vices on Earth;
’Tis hard to shake them off, even by stealth.
