Let Pow'r be not a whip in hands of few;
If it be then, let it not flay with ease;
Let it remain a symbol, just a cue;
For that’s the way, the world can live in peace.
Authority is like a rubber Snake;
If live and poisonous, it gruesomely kills;
It should remain with you just for namesake;
And settle problems but not create ills.
Let Pow'r not corrupt persons in the chair;
Use it with impunity where needed;
'Tis not for use for purposes unfair;
Excessive pow’r displayed won't be heeded.
Power is just a robe, you don sometimes;
And hence, it cannot suit all men, all climes

What did we do in return?
Is it not now to repay in turn?
Show in real sense the we are good suns and daughters
We want others too live with laughter
God is always with us and may remain so
But what are thing we can forgo
Can we assure compassion, love and peace?

We get everything form him for few lines of prayer
You are master and artful conveyer
You can deceive him anytime of your choice

Let the man in the mirror feel peace,

Human life
Why some of things remain as ever?
Beautiful and liked by others forever
Rose doesn't give up its fervor
So is the pride and honor
We as human beings remain and suffer
To see people, their behavior and simple offer
Their warring path and eagerness for peace
Yet goal same to remain and live at ease
Good people always remain calm and quiet
Let the luck be cruel or with uncertain fate
They know for sure that it is all by destiny

Why to leave goodness then for paltry gain?

Snake Worship
Placing a whip
on the heads of reason
he said, 'Long live, democracy! '
With shells strewn everywhere
he proposed for 'peace zone'
and said
'Long live, peace! '
Biting the parched bellies and naked bodies
like a cobra
he said, 'Long live patience! '
and declared that he was Naag - the snake god
and for centuries
in this meek county
got the people to worship him.
In the name of democracy
peace and patience
he bit those that irked his eyes
as long as blood lasted in their bodies
and as they fell dead, devoid of blood
he threw their carcasses;
some on the bank of Seti
and others inside Bhiman jungle
or towards Sukhana
and many in places still uncovered.
On his part, however
he continued to make people
worship his glory as Naag-
the snake god.
Defiling the pace of change
we too continued revering him
but this time
he stripped himself, stark naked
beyond the imagined limits
till everyone could see things
and in haste
amid fears
he put on the snake-shaped cap
in his bid to hoodwink us
as he always did
and displayed a fake smile
facing us.
Once again
he talked of democracy.
In fact, he was enacting a play
wherein we inferred
he was a true serpent;
we whispered among ourselves.
This time too, however
the same danger persisted.
Helpless, we meekly listened.
How long are we going to heed?
The same danger
is still ringing, however!

‘Live and Let Live! ’
‘Live and let live’ – all just say;
But, do the opposite things everyday;
‘Live and let live ‘– is the one and only way,
By which all can live happily today.
This earth is one and human race is one;
Same problems confront all under the sun;
There are so many things that stay undone;
‘Few things are wrought by money or by gun! ’
The division of lands is just Nature’s;
The air we breathe belongs to all creatures;
It cannot be confined to borders made;
When rain is brought by God, all borders fade.
No nation or its peoples have all things;
This world belongs to paupers and too, kings;
Umpteen problems to all, a lifetime brings;
The sky is same for ‘winged’ and without wings!
Why fight o’er borders that are inconstant?
Why spend so lavishly on nuclear arms?
Why try to make the poorer people slaves?
Why aim for overly-produce from farms?
The basic needs of human race are same;
Denying them to brethren is a shame;
Let love and brotherhood remain our aim;
‘To dust we go because from dust we came! ’
A few rich persons hold most earth’s treasures;
Whatev’r we give, we’ll get in like measures;
There are limits for all earthly pleasures;
The love of God on earth made all creatures!
Let rules be such that all can follow them;
Let life be treated sacred everywhere;
Let kindness fill the hearts of world’s leaders;
‘No war can bring a lasting peace on earth.’
‘Live and let live’ –the best thing all can do;
Let love and not fear, all citizens woo;
Our span of life on earth is short and true;
Our love to God and man, let’s all renew!
The earth can be a paradise as well;
Our faulty deeds keep earth almost like hell;
Our destiny is same – history does tell;

Let Life Be Spent
Let life be spent at ease
Many areas need care and fresh release
An area of peace, harmony and stability
That is far cry and needed for humanity
It takes life thousands of years back
So much to worry and so much to consider at stake
Who has benefited so far from the wars?
It has only pushed us to miseries and very far
We have seen countries going fast into disintegration?
Always at loggerheads with no cordial relation
Hostility on both the sides with no hope of resumption
Hate and distrust only on the false pride and assumptions
Any country can progress if people are safe
Live with full freedom and deciding the fate
Prosperity and peace as the core principles
Country is to be taken out of from clashes and troubles
Peaceful existence is only way out
Let there be nothing else to talk about
We have lot more to give to our future generation
Solutions and way out to live with harmony in question
This had been visualized by our forefathers
They wanted trouble free world from wars
They had seen and witnessed destruction
Now is the time for us to rebuilt and have solid construction
There is lot more to share and distribute
Wealthy nations have responsibilities and more to contribute
Many nations look toward them for generous attitude
Let wars be not waged on false pretext or any prelude
Era of cold war is over new thinking has emerged
World have moved further and still poised to surge
There is enough of room for future technology
Beneficial to all for growth and removal of old psychology
We may have problems concerning to safety
Yet trial can be given to preserve stability

You need not assume
You need not assume at all
Respond to his order with your sincere call
You will see your steps are in complete beats
There is forward going and no retreat
Don't you think life is to make believe?
In whatever position we have to prefer and live
it may not be shortened or lengthened
but think of him when fully threatened
Who are we to think why at all we are here?
With his supreme position he is there
Life is not meant to probed at our level
We need to prove and aim at to excel
He is there to guide
Just whisper and confide
“Lord, forgive me for all my ills”
Pardon me for more crimes still
I shall go on pursing the same
Wait for curse to befall and blame
“To err” may remain as my weakest link
I know the evil but helplessly commit and wink
Who will prefer to be drowned in sea?
With all examples and results before eyes to see
Still helplessness in falling with correct lines
Choosing of suicidal path to remain on side lines
It is not merited anywhere
Few lines are drawn here and there
Some may call it morality and some may call it spirituality
More or less it will be called humanity
We are here to live here as human being
Happiness and peace as desired by him to bring
What is most needed in changing world?
A mere acceptance of divine presence and its fold
We have all means to live and believe
Help, if at all possible and relieve
If no, then live with whatever you have
Decent life with acceptable ways and behave
No one may intervene or render advice
Not a single word will come to you as promise
You got to judge and prevail in small capacity
Rest all must be left to merciful and almighty
We are not here to judge action or reaction
The faith should not lead to any type of bitterness or friction
What will be left then in store to retrieve?
Only to shed tears in agony and grieve
I am not sure of uninterrupted breathing space
Who knows when it will be over in any case?
I have nothing to worry about divine fall out
I know nothing at all or what will happen about
To live with lots fear and uncertainty is no answer
It has to be lived in any case however

Old Friends
Through the years that I have wandered,
I have left a lot behind.
I have left all those old friends of mine.
Some have passed on to heaven,
some still remain who I see occasionally,
but for those who have gone
and I will never see anymore
this poem is just for them.
Their names shine across my memory
for now and always.
I can only hope they are looking down
as I write telling the world of their friendship
that I had as I grew through my life.
How they helped me overcome
at times torment and strife,
and encouraged me to better life
when I needed it the most.
When the world seemed unfair,
for me they were there.
For some I never had a chance
to say a final goodbye.
They were here and then gone
in the wink of an eye,
but the legacy of their friendship
still remains in my heart and memory,
for so I live, they will never be forgotten by me.

When Women Will Rule The World
When women will rule the World sadly i won't be around
My bones will be resting forever in some quiet dead person's ground
But what a World 'twill be to live in the flower of peace will bloom again
And for as long as women do rule the World peace in the World will remain,
For as long as men rule the World terror and warring will live on
They have not learned from the mistakes of past male leaders with men as leaders all hope of peace gone
When women will rule the World the World will be a better place to live in
Mothers will not have to weep for their dead children there will not be wars for to win,
Women give birth to the soldiers mothers do not want their children to die
A dead hero is better than a living coward that is if you believe a lie,
Women do not want their children fighting in wars far away
