Sonnet: Argumentation
Arguments can just lead you to nowhere;
An endless exercise! Why argue then?
The talk of the boneless tongue’s unfair!
But yet people do and fools listen.
Harping about in pointless ways, I want
Hours, days to get wasted in a trice;
’Tis meaningless; no one wins; stop I can’t;
It has victims; no victors; it is a vice!
’Tis a war of words, a trial of strength,
With logic/ill-logic, twists and much turns;
The debate can go on to any length;
Much ill-will is born and it leaves big burns!
Arguments catch like a ‘cold’ from nowhere!
Avoid it and yet, it stays in the air.

Logic suffers
Desire blurs the logic.
Passion wounds the logic.
Fear maims the logic.
Rage kills the logic.
They spring from instincts
To protect the self
And hence ignore the logic.
Logic is meant for the third person.

Crazed Madness Now the Rage
To a finger no one lifts...
From hands kept in balled fists,
To stop and avoid anguish.
With a listening to begin.
But those...
Arguments!
Arguments!
Arguments spit...
To foam from twisted lips!
Rose to the top of everyone's list!
To eyes open wide with chaos surveyed...
And fading promises made,
To end conflicts created.
None of this!
None of this!
None of this would have ever existed,
If fellowship for one another...
Had been consistently displayed.
Instead of a crazed madness,
Now the rage everyone seeks to stage.

Ordinarily logic is divided into the examination of ideas, judgments, arguments, and methods. The two latter are generally reduced to judgments, that is, arguments are reduced to apodictic judgments that such and such conclusions follow from such and such premises, and method is reduced to judgments that prescribe the procedure that should be followed in the search for truth.

Equal Ways
So the circle cannot fade
It turns in endless ways
It turns its endless days
So this window offers views
Of endless loves and fears
Of endless moves and stance
We turn in rest and dance
Scoff at our arises and falls
I wont stop wonder
I will never stop wonder
They walk in flowers
They walk in shorts
They win the nothings
They win awards
It makes no sence to me,
I walk the flowers
Win the nothings
So this circle cannot fail
It turns its endless ways
It turns its endless days
Scare the dower,
Rises and falls
I wont stop wonder
I wont ever stop wander
We turn in equal days
So lets live in equal ways
We turn in equal ways
So lets live in equal days

De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da
Don't think me unkind
Words are hard to find
The only cheques I've left unsigned
From the banks of chaos in my mind
And when their eloquence escapes me
Their logic ties me up and rapes me
De do do do, de da da da
Is all I want to say to you
De do do do, de da da da
Their innocence will pull me through
De do do do, de da da da
Is all I want to say to you
De do do do, de da da da
They're meaningless and all that's true
Poets, priests and poiticians
Have words to thank for their positions
Words that scream for your submission
And no one's jamming their transmission
'Cos when their eloquence escapes you
Their logic ties you up and rapes you
De do do do, de da da da
Is all I want to say to you
De do do do, de da da da
Their innocence will pull me through

Logic And Love
Logic And Love
(Feldman Chandler)
Love and logic just don't go together
Try to force it, you'll be trying forever
Why discuss it when you're missing the point
Girl
Forget the fakin' all I care is that you're
Chorus:
Making all the right moves
You're making all the moves that hit the spot
You're speaking only half-truths girl
Just tell me all the things I like a lot
Stop thinking you're much too intense
Don't even try to make love make sense
Don't even try to make love make sense
Don't even try to say we're just good friends
Logic and love clash in your head
You don't see reason you just see red
We could argue 'till you're blue in the face girl
The time you're taking is the time you could be
Repeat Chorus
I'm talking logic and love
I'm talking logic and love
Our scientific world demands that everything's
explained
You're an ultra-modern girl
But can't you see there's nothing to be gained
In analyzing love
You're making only false moves
But everything you do still hits the spot
And do you know what that proves girl
That love is far away the best we got, you know
The best of lovers don't have to be friends
Don't even try to make love make sense
Don't even try to make love make sense
Don't even try to say we're just good friends
Don't even try to make love make sense
Don't even try girl don't pretend
I'm talking logic and love

Today the people from my State of Tennessee would listen to this debate, or even talk about a reference to God on our money or in the Halls of Congress or in our Pledge and say, please, let common sense and logic win the day and prevail versus legal mumbo jumbo.

A Discourse On Real Chaos
so many words, thousands of thoughts
minted, printed,
so many lines running and running
to an endless destination
do you believe in me? have you noticed
that never ending story? this never ending road?
these endless musings like days and days that
never stop making and grinding time?
this is the restless world
the wriggling worms of our existence
our way of sounding life to the universe
people want to stop to listen
all these restless people who cannot rest on the nights
they want to die but couldn't
they want to live but can't
what a mess? orderliness, flitting and so temporary
change is always there and always changing
and waning and fading and shining and glowing
you cannot stop because if you will
you are not yourself anymore
do you take shelter in the house of logic?
look! it is crumpled by the battle of light and darkness
parallel lines swerve and fuse at the end when the speed of light
triples and tipsy at the black holes of misunderstanding
you will tell me, i am trembling, short of what i should have
given you in a silver platter of common understanding
that i am just confusing you and making you miserable
sad to say, there is no order in this universe,
the molecules move in random, the atoms are in disarray
like the air, but how can you really see?
you feel only the wind, and see the leaves swaying
you feel the joy, but always, and always, the disorder is there.

Indifference
It is pointless to oppose in debate,
With a hoping to change one's point of view.
Relationships are broken.
And the divorce rate is high.
A giving of respect to others is denied.
Hiding honesty is on the rise.
And people refuse to see the forest for the trees.
But yet...
Let arguments heat up knowing the fuel used,
Is indifference.

Little Wonders
Let it go,
Let it roll right off your shoulder
Don't you know
The hardest part is over
Let it in,
Let your clarity define you
In the end
We will only just remember how it feels
Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours still remain
Let it slide,
Let your troubles fall behind you
Let it shine
Until you feel it all around you
And i don't mind
If it's me you need to turn to
We'll get by,
It's the heart that really matters in the end
Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours still remain
All of my regret
Will wash away some how
But i can not forget
The way i feel right now
In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists & turns of fate
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away but these small hours
These small hours, still remain,
Still remain
These little wonders
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These little wonders still remain

This battle for 'common-sense' gun control laws pits emotion and passion against logic and reason. All too often in such a contest, logic loses. So, expect more meaningless, if not harmful, 'gun control' legislation. Good news - if you're a crook.

Opinions Of Your Own
To find in your rebuttal,
A commenting on my debate...
With my issues extended,
By your interpretation...
Of my initiating statements,
Is at best...
Giving another side of my point of view!
If I wanted to argue with myself,
I would have videotaped...
My own opposing arguments made,
And not have had you here...
Declaring,
You have opinions of your own...
To express.
