Sonnet- The World Today(5)
How men can waste their lives in slander rife!
And gloat when peers are scourged by false rumors;
And false statements that magnify their strife,
All fabricated, out of spite for hours.
Their magic potions work like poison but
Can never lethal be to honest souls;
For God arranges their plans evil shut,
Exposing their dishonest methods, roles.
Pity the man, who speaks horrendous lies,
Whose heart is full of malice for others;
For in a moment he is cut to size,
And cast to earth most awfully, brothers!
Test not the patience of the Maker, Lord;
But learn to live as per His every word.

Following God's Principles
When God's principals we obey, His Spirit helps us not to stray,
For believers, it is a must, that we practice obedience and trust,
Trusting God with all our heart; from His ways we will not depart,
Letting Wisdom have Her way, while we follow God, day by day.
We must work unto The Lord, a practice that's not to be ignored,
Working with Christ by our side; our Lord God above is glorified,
God is not mocked or deceived, knowing ways we've conceived,
As we will reap all we've sown, as all our ways by Him are known.
All believers must contemplate, the seven things, God does hate,
Living in our present world of sin, this as we strive to live for Him;
Haughty eyes coming from pride, an evil, we can't allow to reside,
As it caused Adam's race to fall; one's sin which is far from small.
For pride is Satan's choice leaven, which he uses to fuel all seven,
Beginning with the lying tongue, affecting all souls old and young;
Hands which shed innocent blood, while evil comes on as a flood,
Following that heart of a wicked man, as one devising an evil plan.
With feet that rush to evil ways, in our ever increasing darker days;
A false witness that breaths lies, another thing God does despise;
Also one who does sow discord, among the brothers of The Lord.
Of these seven God speaks of, it is an abomination to Him above.
All of the seven we too must hate, for with God, there's no debate,
As God's principles we will learn, these are more than just concern,
But, are from the very heart of Him, God, Who saved us out of sin,
Saved to live anew in all of our life, all while we live in Jesus Christ.

Slander
The word is out -- heads are talkin
And just like a fire ragin wild in the night,
The rumors hot, the room is rockin,
Its out of control, too vicious to fight
Two lovers split -- a heart is shattered
And out of revenge it steals through the night,
Making sure the lies are scattered
To every border of this town tonight
The words on the street, you call it truth,
I call it slander,
Times are tough, talk is cheap --
Soon theyll talk about you --
Slander
The jury splits -- undecided,
Theyre searching for clues,
My live in their hands
The hour has come, they stand divided,
The future shall judge the good and the bad
And now, theres talk on the street --
I call it slander,
I will fight this somehow
Revenge will be sweet
Slander -- like a knife in my heart --
Slander
Slander -- gonna keep us apart --
Slander
Slander c theres talk on the street
Slander -- revenge will be sweet
Slander -- Im ready to fight
Slander -- I will find it tonight
Slander -- like a knife in my heart --
Slander
Slander -- gonna keep us apart
Slander
Slander -- theres talk on the street --
Slander -- revenge will be sweet
Slander -- too vicious to fight
Slander -- wild in the night

Believing Not
Looking at earth and all involved, there are mysteries to be solved,
From below the sea up to the sky, yet many have embraced the lie,
There is no God, all has evolved, and so their hearts have resolved,
To believe not Truth, but Satan’s Lie, and so they shall eternally die.
Into this world, filled with strife, God came to give all men New Life,
Through The One, Who created all, things on earth, large and small,
But, with man’s darkness, oh so rife, man has rejected Jesus Christ,
Who came to save us from the fall, but, they refused our Lord’s call.
Today many souls truly believe, many lies that Satan does conceive,
When through deception Satan blinds, unbelieving hearts and minds,
So God’s Truth they won’t believe, so God’s Spirit they don’t receive,
Spiritually destroying many minds, by his dark deception of all kinds.
Those who believe there is no God, share that belief with an evil nod,
With hope to persuade other souls, to embrace theories full of holes,
To reject all they know of God, only to one day see Christ’s Iron Rod,
Filling all of Satan’s darker roles, and help deceive unbelieving souls.
Today, men will continue to oppose, The Lord above, who has chose,
Believers in Christ, like you and me, to help those in this world to see,
The Light of Christ as darkness grows, in the hearts, that Satan chose,
Until all Believers step into Eternity, by The Hope we found at Calvary.

The Hands that Hang Down
O lord, I am so tired!
My heart is sick and sore.
I work, and work, and do no good—
And I can try no more!
I lay my treasures up,
And think they're worth such care;
And the next time I go to look,
There's only rubbish there!
I tug hard at the door
Of knowledge—strain and pant;
But, Lord, the more I seem to learn,
The more I'm ignorant!
Sometimes I am so vain
I set myself to teach;
But e'en the first beginnings lie
Utterly out of reach!
I am no use—no use!
I thought I might have been;
But now I know how small I am,
How poor, how false, how mean!
Sunk in the dust and mire
While aiming at the skies,
Only a thing to laugh at, Lord,
To pity and despise!

Where Truth Resides
demons base that throughout life hound
may often be considered false not fearful
when fears of false witness are cast aside
when one values opinions of honour integrity
what power can slander wield where truth resides
what strength of will determination reign may
when we release false feigns to their fallen abode
inner will compass set offers new horizons wide
destinies sails full resolute in conflict challenges

God's Test Over Time
that which comes from God endures
that which comes from man perishes
this is the acid test of enduring time
Jesus said many false prophets
will come in my name and will
deceive many but test him true?
“And many false prophets will arise
and mislead many; ” Matthew 24: 11
“But among the people there were
also false prophets, just as there will
be false teachers among you. Under
false pretenses they will introduce
destructive heresies, even denying
the Master who bought them, and thus
bring on themselves swift destruction.” 2 Peter 2: 1
But will they come in his name?
And will they really deceive many?
And will people really believe in them?
“Then if anyone says to YOU, ‘Look!
‘There is the Christ, ’ or, ‘There! ’ do not
believe it. For false Christ's and false
prophets will arise and will give great signs
and wonders so as to mislead, if possible,
even the chosen ones” Matthew 24: 23-24

Beware of Satan, the Deceiver of the World
Satan deceives the world for long
As Gospel's truth aren't known to all;
He uses Christian rituals, rites,
Doctrines and laws to delude souls!
The evil spirit Satan thus
Enters the souls afilled with sin,
Pretending as Holy Spirit,
Duping even Christians with faith.
Satan can quote the scriptures well;
He uses name of Lord and God;
The Tempter is a ‘born' Liar;
And steals souls en way to heaven.
Receive the Holy Spirit then,
By knowing Gospel entirely;
And let Him dwell within always,
Enlightening your soul with grace.
False preachers in this world abound,
Who try to interpret the Word,
By creating ‘mass hypnosis',
And making people to convulse.
Loud hymns and intonations work
Illusions, magic, transient ‘cures',
Taking the minds and hearts to heights,
As if God has anointed one.
The Bible is the Word of God;
A heart with sin can't work like Christ;
Only a soul that's cleansed off sin
Can do the things, Jesus akin.
The Holy Spirit cannot dwell
In persons who have little faith,
In sacred words that Bible tells,
And live their lives as per God's Word.
A sustained life of prayer's first,
To follow foot-steps of Lord Christ;
A soul that's kept sin-free always
Can make the Holy Spirit stay.
The Holy Spirit dwells in those
Who have repented for their sins,
Renouncing Satan's pomps and works,
And never follow his vile ways!
No human act or endeavour
Can do miracles on one's own
But grace of God, prayer-obtained,
Alone can heal afflicted men.
For grace of God, strong faith is prime;
Fasting, prayers make life sublime;
Good deeds and charity are next;
All stem from love of Jesus Christ!
God sees the minds and hearts of men;
If body must be God's abode,
It should be freed of every sin,
And stay that way until one's death.
Beware of false teachers, prophets,
Who claim to see Jesus, Angels!
For, God was never seen by man,
From ever since the world began!

Bible in Poetry: Gospel of St. Peter 1 (Chapter 3)
‘Be submissive to husbands, ’ Wives;
In case, they don’t believe the Word,
Seeing purity of your lives,
Their souls can be brought to the Lord.’
‘Your beauty shouldn’t be external,
From hair and clothes and jewelry,
But must be wholly internal,
From gentle and quiet spirit,
Which is of worth more in God’s sight.’
‘For, this is how holy women
Of past revealed their beauty great,
By putting hope in Heaven’s ways,
And submitting to their one mate,
Like Sarah calling Abraham, ‘Master’! .
You are her daughters when you do
Things rightly without any fear.’
‘And husbands, live in the same way
With consideration as your base;
Respect your weaker partner well,
As heirs to gift of life that’s swell;
Give them that tender, loving touch
So that nothing hinders your prayers much.
Suffering for Doing Good:
In harmony, live with brethren,
Be humble, kind to men, women;
Repay not evil by evil;
Return not insult by insult;
Bless those who are unfair to you;
Heaven expects you, this to do.
‘For, whoev’r loves his earthly life
And sees good days,
Must keep his tongue from evil rife,
And lips from deceit’s ways! ’
‘From evil, he must turn, do good;
He must seek peace ad pursue it;
The Lord’s eyes track His righteous ones;
His ears hear their fervent prayers;
The Lord’s face abhors evil ones.’
‘If eager to do good, can you be harmed?
But if you suffer still, you are blessed;
Do not fear what the wicked fear;
Put Christ our Lord, inside your heart.’
‘Prepare to answer all who ask
You reasons for the hope you have;
And do this gently, with respect,
And keep your conscience always clear.’
‘The speakers with malice in hearts,
Against your good rapport with Christ,
Will be ashamed for their slander! ’
‘Suff’r for goodness sake, if God’s will;
’Tis better than doing evil;
For, Christ had died for sins of all,
And bring souls to His Father, God.’
‘Though dead by body, Jesus was
Kept alive by Holy Spirit,
And preached to spirits in prison,
Who disobeyed the patient God,
While ark was built in Noah’s days.
When Deluge watered in torrents,
None were saved except eight good.’
‘In baptism, the same water,
Saves souls from rod of God instead,
Removing not the body’s dirt,
But by renewed pledge to His word.
It saves you through the risen Christ,
Who’s in heaven, to God’s hand right,
With angels, saints, in divine pow’r! ’

Psalm 109
v.1-5,31
C. M.
Love to enemies from the example of Christ.
God of my mercy and my praise,
Thy glory is my song,
Though sinners speak against thy grace
With a blaspheming tongue.
When in the form of mortal man
Thy Son on earth was found,
With cruel slanders, false and vain,
They compassed him around.
Their miseries his compassion move,
Their peace he still pursued;
They render hatred for his love,
And evil for his good.
Their malice raged without a cause,
Yet, with his dying breath,
He prayed for murderers on his cross,
And blessed his foes in death.
Lord, shall thy bright example shine
In vain before my eyes?
Give me a soul akin to thine,
To love my enemies.
The Lord shall on my side engage,
And, in my Savior's name,
I shall defeat their pride and rage
Who slander and condemn.

An Ode to the Heart of Man
An Ode to the Heart of Man
by Alex Lewis
An ode to the heart of man:
Man has lost the goodness in his soul.
It means nothing: yes we can.
The earth does cringe as overflows the badness in the bowl.
We had helped others before,
But now we greed and care for none other than our own.
Oh, man! You are whom I had adore.
Evil corrupts the good heart of man. I have been shown.
Help your brother and your brother will help thee,
But you ignore me. Help yourself and you'll help nobody.
An ode to the heart of man that's been destroyed by we,
The ones who have abandoned peace and hope. Help me to help thee.
I plead for you, but you have cut out my heart!
For what? What do you show for your murder?
Nothing! Man is SO evil. You can see it sans chart!
Yet, we create false hope and false light.
The day of GOOD WILL HATH SUNK into night.
I pity you. You haven't even made a fight.
You have all accepted the killing of man.
An ode to his heart that ended once it began.

The question is not what programs we should seek to enact. The question is whether we can find in our own midst and in our own hearts that leadership of humane purpose that will recognize the terrible truths of our existence. We must admit the vanity of our false distinctions among men and learn to find our own advancement in the search for the advancement of others. We must admit in ourselves that our own children's future cannot be built on the misfortunes of others. We must recognize that this short life can neither be ennobled or enriched by hatred or revenge.Our lives on this planet are too short and the work to be done too great to let this spirit flourish any longer in our land. Of course we cannot vanquish it with a program, nor with a resolution. But we can perhaps remember, if only for a time, that those who live with us are our brothers, that they share with us the same short moment of life; that they seek, as do we, nothing but the chance to live out their lives in purpose and in happiness, winning what satisfaction and fulfillment they can. Surely, this bond of common faith, this bond of common goal, can begin to teach us something. Surely, we can learn, at least, to look at those around us as fellow men, and surely we can begin to work a little harder to bind up the wounds among us and to become in our own hearts brothers and countrymen once again.

Where Eagles Do Not Ever Dare! (Fresh Medicos are under scare!)
When girls must marry ’fore ’tis late,
And boys can’t think of any date,
With future bleak despite degree,
From world of books, they are not free!
While parents expect them to earn,
They have to continue to learn;
And being paid a paltry sum,
They’re forced to work by keeping mum!
While other students live like kings,
To modern doctors, woes, life brings;
Just blame the politics that’s rife,
For giving them, so much of strife!
Shame on the ones, who plan health-care!
They do not want doctors to fare;
Top bureaucrats who choose lucre,
Make youngster’s lives, mediocre!
In land beset with corruption,
(And doctors are no exception) ,
The few who work for noble cause,
Are given not the clime to pass!
Will not a young leader arise,
And cut the wrong-doers to size?
Is there no party good and wise,
Which fights for fairness, speaks no lies?
Where seniors will not ever go,
They plan to send the fresh medico!
What can a growing plant do there,
Where mammoth trees can’t even dare?

Once They Said
Once they said you were so sweet
But now they say that you are a cheat
So maybe then someday you might learn
Your deeds speak louder than any word
When you are walking down your street.
Once they said your soul was loyal
But now they say its used and soiled
So I say this to you my dear, dear friend
If you did once before you will do it again
You once had nothing but now you are spoiled.
Once they said you were knowledegable
Now they say that you are intolerable
As you think your better than everyone else
And know one is as smart as yourself
Now your ways and acts are unpardonable.
Once they said you were very honest
But then you became very dishonest
You hid your truth as you would hide a tear
Then you made your past and deeds disappear
As then you thought you were a goddess.
Once they said you were trustworthy
But then you became uncouth and earthy
You became a person that we never knew
As inside your soul and mind evil and hate grew
Now for your salvation you will never be worthy.
Once they said you were true to the core
But now your mind is empty and your soul is poor
You had let evil and sin enter into your life
Now honest and love is out of your sight
Statements of praises, you wont hear anymore.

Sonnet: A Prayer for Myself
Let me be poor like Thee Jesus, my Lord;
Let me be wise and keep on earth, my soul;
Let me live life, not on my own accord;
Let me then work for my Heavenly goal.
Let me not seek only pleasures and joys;
Let me labor till sweat falls to the soil;
Let me in sadness too, thank God- rejoice;
Let me the Tempter’s evil designs foil.
Let me be humble and patient to all;
Let me be kind and love my neighbor’s small;
Let me be honest, remain not a wall;
Let me not ever miss my Maker’s call.
Let me do things that my conscience suggests;
Let me not sin or fail my Maker’s tests!

Do not be misled by what you see around you, or be influenced by what you see. You live in a world which is a playground of illusion, full of false paths, false values and false ideals. But you are not part of that world.
Learn
Learn, learn, learn,—
Our beautiful world is not a field for sheep;
Not just a place wherein to laugh and weep,
To eat and drink, to dance and sigh and sleep,
And then to moulder into senseless dust.
Learn, learn, learn,—
Look up and learn—you cannot look too high!
Not for the earthly wealth which brains can buy,
Not for the sake of gold and luxury—
Treasures corrupted by the moth and rust.
Learn, learn, learn,—
As one in whom the Lord has breathed His breath,
And aye redeemèd from the power of death—
Not as the dumb brute-beast that perisheth,
Not as a soulless, thoughtless, thankless clod.
Learn, learn, learn,—
With love and awe and patience—not in haste;
Drink deeply,—do not pass by with a taste;
O make your land a garden, not a waste!—
Your mind bright, to reflect the face of God.
Learn, learn, learn,—
The mystic beauty and the truth of life;
Search out the treasures whereof earth is rife,
Search on all sides, with pain and prayer and strife;
Search even into darkness. Do not fear.
Learn, learn, learn,—
With a true, steadfast heart, lay up your hoard;
God will sort out the treasures you have stored,
And set them in His bright light, afterward.
He will make all your difficulties clear.
Learn, learn, learn,—
Death is no breaking at a certain place;
We only pause there for a little space.
And then—you would not shame Him to His face?—
You, in His Image and own Likeness made!
Learn, learn, learn,—
Walk with wide-open eyes and reverent heart.
Worship as God the beautiful in art.
Though you see now but dimly, and in part,
All shall be clear in time. Be not afraid.

Jesus Christ Is Lord And Savior
Dear friend, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior,
And indeed my friend, He is both man and God.
The cross for Him was simply just one endeavor,
And now Christ is coming back with an iron rod.
This time when He comes He will reign forever,
In the very land, that The Savior once had trod.
Present plans and treaties of man He will sever,
Not as a man who died but as The Eternal God.
He’s coming back to earth to set up His Kingdom,
And He will reign from Zion one thousand years.
All who reign with Him are all who chose to come,
It’s the word of prophets and Old Testament seers.
But first this earth must be judged by its maker,
During the time known as the Great Tribulation.
Evil will be judged along with every evil partaker,
To be totally destroyed through much devastation.
After seven years The King shall be ushered in,
During Messiah’s Rule many still will not believe,
As man will still have a deceptive heart deep within,
When Satan is loosed many again will be deceived.
But he will be cast into the fire along with evil sin,
And earth will be free of sin for all who truly believe.
Lead by Christ all believers will be ready to begin,
An endless life of joy forever through all Eternity.
Sonnet: Repent
If you’re alive today, it is because
Of God’s infinite mercy upon you;
So, spend this grace-period for Maker’s cause;
Your duties better, you must try to do.
If you’re aren’t sick like how some others are,
God loves you still, expecting more from you;
So, look within your heart and mind and war
The devils’ trends and live a life that’s true.
If you are not in added strife, think well;
God wishes that you do a lot more good;
He wants you to avoid the Fire of Hell;
Amend your sinful life and take soul-food.
The wise man lives because of faith in God;
All evil souls await the Maker’s rod.

Word Of Mouth
Ive been trying to get a message to you,
But the operator cant put me through,
Because the vandals went and wrecked all the telephones.
And all my enemies are spreading bad news,
You wont call me, thats why Im calling you,
To put you straight about the rumors theyre spreading about me back home.
I should have known, sooner or later,
Youd get the news, sooner or later,
The word of mouth will get right back to you.
Somehow we lost communication,
My only chance in my situation,
Is that the word of mouth gets my message through.
The word of mouth,
The word of mouth,
But who are they to say the things they do?
The word of mouth says that Ive gone insane,
That wine and women have affected my brain.
Well whos the big mouth spreading the news again?
The word of mouth says Im round the bend,
Its all over, this is the end.
Exaggeration sure gets the better of people who send[? ].
The word of mouth,
The word of mouth,
But who are they to say the things they do?
The word of mouth said I should be put in my place.
The word is out Im in disgrace -- a waste of space.
But if they say it, say it to my face.
People talking, trying to dig up the dirt,
There are so many lies around.
They spread their gossip and the rumors around this town.
Word of mouth, face to face,
My word of mouth has stated my case,
And Im saying Im coming back home to you.
You should have know sooner or later,
Youd get the news sooner or later,
The word of mouth will get right back to you.
The word of mouth,
Shut your mouth,
Shut your face!

Magic
Magic,
Can attract.
To...
Keep one mesmerized,
All their lives.
And...
Without a fantasizing it,
To...
Hynotize for somebody's,
Benefit.
Magic...
Will attract.
And...
Keep one seeking to stay hook,
As if it was a drug to eat and cook.
A magic!
Whether black or white,
Is a magic...
To not be denied,
As magic...
From another place.
Removing everything taken once for granted.
It's magic!
Whether black or white,
Is a magic...
To not be denied,
As magic...
From another place.
Removing everything one took for granted.
It's magic,
From another place.
Removing everything taken once for granted.
It's magic!
Whether black or white,
And removing everything to clear one's eyes.
Magic...
Will attract,
A magic!
Whether black or white,
Is a magic...
To not be denied,
As magic...
From places unseen.
And removing false things people claim to dream.
Magic...
Will remove things seen people always take for granted.
A magic...
Will remove false things people claim to dream.
A magic...
Will remove things seen people always take for granted.
It's magic...
That removes false things people claim to dream.
It's magic...
That removes things seen people always take for granted.
Magic...
Will remove false things people claim to dream.
A magic...
Will remove things seen people always take for granted.
It's magic...
That removes false things people claim to dream.
