Sonnet- Buck Up Man!
Oh, Buck up-Man! for things don't ever wait;
'Tis good that none know what the morrow brings;
The world is large; But heart of man has hate;
The earth isn't fit for good human Beings.
Oh, Buck up Man! there's lot to do in life;
A lazy man is wasting precious time;
Don't leave to rust but go whet your blunt knife;
Still lots of ways can make your life sublime.
Oh, Buck up Man for Earth will soon be gone;
Prepare your soul for Heaven's banquet then;
And never mind however you were born;
The Lord's Abode is for all righteous men.
Oh, Buck up Man! tomorrow still brings Hope;
Make up your mind and things all you can cope.

Buck Nekkid
Two shots shy of a 40 ounce quart
A hand in the pocket and a hand in the shorts
Shoot me with two and don't be slow
Only got one good way to go
Get naked
Buck naked
Buck naked
It's the only way to go
Twenty six chicks, all tied in a knot
Ain't all good, but it's what we got
Get naked
Buck naked
Let me see you naked
It's the only way to go
Buck buck
I was feelin' so fine
And things were lookin' better
My baby said maybe
And I said I'd let her
Get naked
Buck naked
Let's get naked
It's the only way to go
Get naked
Everybody get naked
Buck naked
It's the onliest way to go
Get naked
Get buck naked, yeah

Bereavement
When someone dear is dead and gone,
Through sudden death or accident,
A lot of misery gets born,
That seems to have no precedent!
When one commits a suicide,
The tragedy, none can accept;
When one has died by homicide,
Nothing can console, nor precept!
Bereavement brings on utter grief,
And takes some people by surprise;
For lucky few, the woe is brief;
Some can’t get over the demise!
Our earthly life brings separations
Unexpected, like bolts from blue;
Some may not bear the frustrations,
And fail to start a life anew!
God allows things to occur still;
Let’s blame Him not for our own faults;
God heals the heart and mind that’s ill;
Breath needn’t return by ‘smelling-salts’!
God knows the aches of every soul,
And cares with love, all beings more;
Sometimes, life’s soup turns sour in bowl;
A better one, God will then pour!
Man must take things as they come on;
Life has its times of joys and woes;
The stricken heart, new hope must don,
And that is how life on earth goes!
So, buck up man, woman and child;
Like changing seasons, things will change;
A balanced mind must not run wild;
Let devils not, your lives derange!
Things will turn better, soon or late;
Nothing is permanent or long;
Patience is needed till that date;
Sing a dirge or divine a song!

Winter Story
When clouds were
drawing graffiti on sky,
where were you?
Untamed manners
in a profound grief
brings back the black buck.
The buck stops here,
fallen on the golden ax.
Get me the lantern.

Passing The Buck
Whatever the task that comes your way,
Just take it as part of your luck.
Look it right square in the eyes, and say,
'This is
my
task, I'll do it to-day':
Don't pass the buck.
Oh! whether you cook, or whether you fight,
Or whether you trundle a truck,
Just tackle your job and do it right:
Don't pass the buck.
The wheels of the earth have gone, alack!
Deep into war's mire and muck.
If you want to put it again on its track,
Don't shift your load on another man's back:
Don't pass the buck.

I feel no need for any other faith than my faith in the kindness of human beings. I am so absorbed in the wonder of earth and the life upon it that I cannot think of heaven and angels.

The Boy Who Had Buck Teeth
The other boys taunted and jeered at the boy with buck teeth
And they called him rude names as he walked down the street
But the boy with buck teeth is a winner today
Those who laugh last laugh loudest some are known to say
The reason for his success not hard to explain
The boy who had buck teeth has a marvelous brain
Their taunts only fueled his desire to succeed
Of his many successes we hear of and read
The boy who had buck teeth is lauded far and wide
His praises sung far from his home country-side
And those who laughed at him seem ordinary indeed
Their journeys in life to success did not lead
The masses out there they did not impress
But the one they once taunted is a huge success.

Buck
Youre a whole lot a man
Just take a look
At your great big hands
You know you can crush
Poor me in two
But gentle, oh so gentle
Are the things you do
I say I never have to worry
bout you goin out
There aint no other woman
Aint no need to doubt
So early to bed
And early to rise
I know just what youre thinkin
Bye the look in your eyes
I say buck
So sweet is your back
I like to wash you
And kiss you when youre wet
So hold me close
And squeeze me till I sigh
Please love me, honey
Till the day I die
I say buck
There aint no other man around
Get your lover gal
To calm right down
No question bout the way
I feel for you
So gentle, oh so gentle
Are the things you do
Oh so gentle, oh so gentle
Are the things you do
Oh so gentle, oh so gentle
Are the things you do

Our Ephemeral Life on Earth
Like how the heavens open bringing rain,
God’s blessings will too shower, once again,
In His own time and in His divine ways,
And make our life on earth happier in pace!
A little strife can make our face sullen;
A little suffering can life, dullen;
A little wait is all God wants of us;
A little patience brings us endless bliss!
Why should we fret and fume and cry in haste?
Why should we call our life a total waste?
All things on earth are transient in type;
Our joys in life bestow on us some hype.
This earth and heaven shall all pass away,
And come will Jesus Christ on Judgment Day;
A new heaven and earth, He will usher,
Rewarding righteous souls in great measure.
Why don’t we praise the Lord in times of strife?
Why shouldn’t we thank Him for our unique life?
Why do we grumble, mumble, murmur then?
Our life on earth is meant to gain heaven!

Sonnet: Hurry up, man!
Respect your parents in all things you can;
Revere your teachers, elders, while alive;
Remember, you are from dust of earth, man!
Return God's love to you, and for this strive!
Just do your duty without wasting time;
Take care of health, given by God, priceless;
In some way, make your life on earth, sublime;
Treasures in heaven await you, boundless!
Do all the good you can without a lull;
Avoid all vices that crop up your way;
Never turn lazy, indolent and dull;
Have faith in God who ushers your D-day!
So, hurry up to be righteous on earth;
This is what the Maker wants from your birth.

Songs like the Buck Owens tune, for example, are very simple and straightforward, and recording it really gave me a chance to get into and get a sense of Buck's personality, a feel for that whole Bakersfield sound.

Is Success A Luck? ? ?
Success is not always a chance or a luck
It cannot be purchased with some buck
But hard work and determination my dear
Is the basic cause that'll take its care
And win good fortune just for you
And bring you success in flying hues
Because there are the symbol in life
Of healthy mind and thoughts that survive
So whenever you choose your life's aim
Or enter in some life's new game
Just remember in God you must have trust
Besides working hard to break nutty crust
Because hard work is what you need
Along with strengthening and determination's deed
Because success is not always chance or luck
And it cannot be just purchased with some buck.

Today’s Funny World
When olive branch, we show the world,
They think, our weakened stage has come,
And treat us worse than ev’n before!
When flag of truce, in hand we hold,
They stiffen conditions on us,
As though we can’t fight anymore!
When bow we as mark of respect,
They look down upon us askance,
As though we are worthless on earth!
The world today is suspicious;
The human lives are less precious;
There’s dearth of people more pious!
Man wants to do whatev’r he likes;
Money decides the things he does;
The love in families seems gone.
One wants to make a quicker buck;
One takes more risks and tries his luck;
One feels things can be got by pluck.
Oh, what a funny world, it seems!
The human face appears well-masked;
The heart of man is ne’er contrite!

Religion
A divine-ride mounted on human fears
A human method bribing the divine in arrears
An edifice that celebrates the descended divine
Termed by aroma, ambrosia to vanquish the demon
A style of unity by gastronomic rituals
An unity of curriculum by hymnal prowess
A trend to buck up social morals
Never for human to buck up bucks

Sonnet: Just Think Awhile, Man
Tho’ Hercules or Samson, one must die!
And leave the world after God-granted time;
But there aren’t many things in which we vie;
Each one must try to make his life sublime.
Our strength will fail us one day while on earth;
Our beauty cannot stay as such for long;
We can’t maintain forev’r a youthful girth;
Some day surely it ends our earthly-song!
Yet, happy is the man with peace of mind,
And happier is he still whose heart is pure;
And happiest is the soul of man unsinned;
A place in Heaven, God will us ensure.
Why waste life-time in things of earthly mould?
Our Shepherd Good wants us back in His fold.

Restless Heart
(coverdale/vandenberg)
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting,
My precious time.
There are times in my life,
I dont know witch way to turn,
When everything I touch
I get my fingers burned...
Dreams to ashes, ashes to dust,
When all that glitters
Is dull with rust...
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting,
My precious time...
Im torn and tattered,
Shattered and worn,
Ive had enough
Trying to live my life
In the eye of the storm...
Every heartache
Leaves a scar on my face,
Somebody reach out
Or throw me a line,
Get me out of this place...
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting, wasting,
My precious time...
Oh, so tired.
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting,
My precious time...
Restless heart, restless mind,
Im tired of wasting, wasting,
All of my precious time...
Restless heart, restless mind,
So Im tired of wasting, wasting,
All of my precious time, time, time
Restless heart...

Looking Forward To Tomorrow
Many things that demand our concern will shortly my friend be gone,
While in the fire they shall burn our life in Eternity shall go on.
The things upon this earth are fleeting, along with our earthly life,
And in the clouds at our meeting, Christ will end our earthly strife.
For the many things in this world are indeed very temporal my friend,
And in the message that we herald, we look eagerly towards the end.
We look beyond the present time and this world that we now live in,
For by God’s own design, the end is when our new life shall begin.
We live in hope this present day as we look forward towards tomorrow,
For this present world in many ways brings upon us all many sorrows.
And after the earth is purged of sin, by The Lord’s cleansing fire,
Then a new world will begin where righteousness will be man’s desire.
But for now we press forward longing for that Eternal City up above,
And by the hand of The Lord, we are guided by His Grace and Love.
Being only our temporal place the things on earth will one day cease,
So as we seek His loving face God fills our heart with Eternal Peace.
For The Grace of God has appeared to teach us how to live each day,
With a heart of reverent fear, as we live in this present wicked age.
As we wait for our Blessed Lord who redeemed every single one of us,
We can all rest assured that He will deliver us from this wickedness.

Sonnet: Take Things as God’s Will
Let things on earth in any way happen;
Perhaps, ’Tis best when they are God-destined;
Just take it with a heart and mind open;
The short-comings, ’tis better not to mind.
Just do you mite and wait for better days;
But always put your heart and soul in it;
Dame Luck may smile on you in many ways;
Cheer up and make yourself, otherwise fit!
Whatev’r befalls, just take it as God’s Will;
Work with conscience: expect no reward;
God will see that good things will happen still;
His ones beloved will get His ‘get well card.’
There is much hope when you do things God’s way;
Success and joy will smile on you some day!
