On New Year’s Eve

Fully obey the Lord;
Thy God can exalt anyone
To levels, undreamt of;
But then,
One must fulfill His commands,
And listen to His words,
Or else,
The blessings could vanish very fast;
One shouldn’t do things for fear of men;
One shouldn’t appease the wishes of the world;
God is the supreme One and expects us to obey His words;
He can change our destiny for the better anytime,
And this lies in our very hands;
Sin is the only impediment to the Lord’s blessings;
We must beware of the wily devils,
And keep the road to righteousness;
Never turn back or go astray;
God makes us fit for mighty tasks;
Abide in Him and follow His code;
Heaven’s blessings rain from the sky;
Pray to Him to remain in godliness.

Blessings

All your days can be beautiful, when you let The Lord fulfill,
His ways and plan in your life, and His blessings will be rife,
If we only believe and trust, blessings will pour down on us,
As He opens up floodgates of, all blessings He has above.

Blessings upon us are poured, when we submit to The Lord,
This to follow all of God’s ways, as we live out all our days,
Listening to the Holy Spirit, and His prompting as we heat it,
Guiding us to those doors, where grace and blessing pours.

Then Grace will begin to flow, in ways that we’d never know,
Flowing from an endless supply, His blessing for you and I,
Blessings will flow abundantly, down to all of God’s Family,
As we live our life for Him, while keeping our life free of sin.

Blessing is to, subtle friend, in strength, as we near an end,
Coming in that final hour, when you truly need divine power,
With peace as part of a course, from a never ending source,
Peace, knowing God is near, when your heart begins to fear.

Blessings you’ll be assured, follow all who live for The Lord,
Even in a dark and lonely place, as God ministers His Grace,
The Grace, that began at Calvary, to lead all men to Eternity,
Where Blessing from our Lord, will flow to them forevermore.

Let’s Straighten Our Thoughts

All things will turn out well eventually;
The fear that things could go amiss isn’t true;
We shouldn’t allow our faith to grow weaker;
Our earthly failures are but transient!

The devils goad us to do wrongful things;
They create doubts about our future days;
Sometimes, we start believing their stories;
The Holy Spirit sets our soul afree!

The human body is God’s dwelling place;
Its sanctity must be maintained always;
No devils dare to tempt a soul that’s pure;
God does miracles for His righteous ones!

Our thoughts of insecurity are fake;
God will provide our needs in umptine ways;
Our mind shouldn’t foster doubts about God’s pow’r;
God cares for us and guides our destiny.

Our trials, tribulations can’t last long;
God frees sin-fettered souls in heaven’s time;
You cannot sin if God has chosen you;
The Potter loves His every pot He made!

Holy God

Accept Him, Creator and supreme One;
Adore Him, Almighty God of Universe;
Praise Him, God who deserves utmost praise;
Love Him, God who loves all His creatures made.

Thank Him, He who provides our every want;
Pray to Him, God of Righteousness and Truth;
Appeal to Him for Mercy infinite;
Sing to Him Hosanna in the highest.

Align with Him, the Judge of the Last day;
Obey Him- His code takes us to heaven;
Hear Him -His Word tells us of God’s kingdom;
Follow Him- His Cross leads to Calvary.

Receive Him- He is soul’s life-giver;
Serve Him, and take more souls to heaven.

God Amply Blesses Righteous Souls

At last, some things do happen much sought for,
in strange a manner, and in God’s own time;
The world is taken aback by such feats –
those happen by mere trust in Almighty!

God blesses righteous souls in mighty ways!
Our prayers can bring forth miracles quite fast;
God does not forsake nor abandon souls;
His love for righteousness is too steadfast.

The world looks down upon all righteous souls;
Yet, truth triumphs always ultimately;
Our foes and friends cannot believe their eyes;
God showers blessings on His beloved souls.

The righteous win against such heavy odds;
When God does things, He does them perfectly;
Our earthly tries end up in vanity,
But God gives upright souls some thumping wins.

Let worry not engulf one’s heart and mind;
Keep purity of soul foremost in life;
Sin shouldn’t decrease the bond of man with God;
God does great things if one truly deserves!

On Finding the The Holy Bible

O God,
If I had found the bible earlier,
How much better it would have been for me!
I wouldn’t have been the kind of guy I’d been
In yester-years, when I was just a lad;

If I had found the bible earlier,
I could have been a much better person
Than what I am just now, in middle-age!

Anyway, Lord, I’m happy I had found
The sacred book at least now; O help me
To read each word and every line clearly
And understand its meaning properly;
And follow instructions given by You,
All through the rest of my life religiously.

And spread the Gospel to the world of men
Remaining ignorant of the one God,
The one, living, Most high and Creator
Of Universe; of things known and unknown.

Whose love alone has given us human form;
With soul and semblance to His own image!
We live on earth and every moment passed,
All by Your kindness, blessings, love and care.

God, help me remember the lines by heart,
Reproduce them spontaneously for life,
So that, I can never sin anymore,
Nor go astray from the Road to Heaven!

O Lord,
The Holy Bible is my food and drink
To my soul, long athirst and hungry;
And yearning for peace and eternal rest,
And freedom from a mad, material world!

Sonnet: A Song to God!

This life of mine, I owe to you my God;
The countless blessings I have had are yours;
Without your help, my life can’t go on, Lord;
Your infinite mercy makes me rejoice.

The world I see has gone into chaos;
The people know not what is good or wrong;
The devils roam the earth and cause our loss;
Oh, hear my pleas in heart-rending a song.

My life to you I surrender, dear God;
I need your grace to keep my soul most pure;
Please spare me from Eternal fiery rod;
Just say the word, my soul will get its cure.

O God, your heart’s a furnace of great love;
So guide me and protect me from above.

A Christmas Song- ‘We Wish You Merry X’mas’!

We wish you merry X’mas!
We wish you peace and joy;
We wish you many blessings
From Savior, baby-boy! !

A boy new-born in manger,
Begotten son of God;
Is born as our Redeemer,
The one, Living Lord!

He came to forgive all sins
Of mankind from the start;
Born of the Virgin Mary,
With love-afilled heart!

Let’s sing a hymn of praises;
Let’s thank the Father God;
Let’s share the love of Jesus
With all, in the New Year!

We wish you merry Christmas!
We wish you peace and joy;
We wish you many blessings
From Savior, baby-boy!

Sonnet: Yet, Abide In God

If suff’rings be my fate, why should I blame
The people, world and all things me around?
My time, energy wasted, makes me lame!
In fighting evils- how long am I bound?

My troubles make me all the more steady;
My Godliness improves by leaps and bounds;
Renewed vigor keeps me ever-ready;
Almighty God helps me to break new grounds.

New hope is born out of my struggles great;
My faith in God increases all the more;
’Tis left to God, my Lord to change my fate;
If He still wants, much blessings He can pour.

Miracles more could happen anytime;
God, show me how to make my life sublime.

Sonnet: Roses for God as Offering

The roses that I place before Thee, God,
Do bless my offering this day, some way;
And help me do my duty well, O Lord,
Conforming to Thy divine way, I pray!

The rain You showered, helped the plant to grow;
The sun You shone gave it the nutrition;
The roots anchored it well in soil and oh,
The buds sprouted without inhibition!

The plant’s studded by flowers beautiful!
They are from You and they are Yours, I know;
They smell so well and look so wonderful;
Do accept them from me, O Lord for now!

I add my labour and my sacrifice,
O God; Your grace and blessings suffice!

To my Wife dear, beloved in Christ…

Twenty years of married life have rolled off fast!
Our woes and trials are things of the past;
Our earthly problems, strife cannot long last;
The world of joys in store for us is vast!

The love you gave to me was memorable;
The care you gave us all was adorable;
The timely words you spoke were admirable;
The toil you gave for family – incomparable!

Life’s burden seems lighter when in Christ Lord;
We’ve learnt to live in piety, accord;
The Lord is our refuge and strength, fortress;
Let’s call to Him aloud when in distress.

Let love be bond between the spouses two;
Let fortitude be guide in things we do;
Let earthly life be Christ-centered in base;
Let heaven be our goal and dream always.

May God bestow His blessings on us dear!
Let’s work unceasingly and without fear;
Let peace prevail when end of life gets near;
Let grace of God become soul’s dress and gear!

The Blessings

Written by teddy gentry, randy owen, ronnie rogers, greg fowler
I satnd here lookin up at the starts tonight, how can one man have somuch in
Life
As I look around me, what a picture it paints, Im muchmore than lucky, i
Oughta give my thanks
Theres food on the table, a log on the fire, and in my womans eyes theres
Love and desire
The blessings, sent from above, oh, the blessings, a life full of love
When I look around I can see, all thats been given me, so ilift my eyes up
To the sky
I wanna give my, my, my, my, my thanks for the blessings
Sometimes I fall asleep at the end of the day and I forget to thank you, im
Ashamed to say
But as I lay m down to sleep, I pray the lord my soul to keep
I know you can hear me here on earth, thank you for giving me more than i
Deserve
The blessings, sent from above, oh, the blessings, a life full of love
When I look around I can see, all thats been given me, so ilift my eyes up
To the sky
cause I wanna give my, my, my, my, my thanks for the blessings
Blessings, when I look around, I can see, all thats been given me
So, I lift my eyes up to the sky, cause I wanna give my, my, my, my, my
Thanks for the blessings
The blessings, oh, the blessings

Our Ephemeral Life on Earth

Like how the heavens open bringing rain,
God’s blessings will too shower, once again,
In His own time and in His divine ways,
And make our life on earth happier in pace!

A little strife can make our face sullen;
A little suffering can life, dullen;
A little wait is all God wants of us;
A little patience brings us endless bliss!

Why should we fret and fume and cry in haste?
Why should we call our life a total waste?
All things on earth are transient in type;
Our joys in life bestow on us some hype.

This earth and heaven shall all pass away,
And come will Jesus Christ on Judgment Day;
A new heaven and earth, He will usher,
Rewarding righteous souls in great measure.

Why don’t we praise the Lord in times of strife?
Why shouldn’t we thank Him for our unique life?
Why do we grumble, mumble, murmur then?
Our life on earth is meant to gain heaven!

A Fervent Prayer

O Lord,
Open the floodgates of Heaven
To pour thy grace torrentially;
So that I see what I must see
And hear thy divine calls clearly!

So that my lips utter such words
Those please the Creator fully;
So that my legs gain strength to walk
The road to heaven without fall.

So that my tongue may rightly talk
Those virtuous thoughts that fill my mind;
So that my heart filled by Your love
Shall spread the flame to engulf all.

So that my body parts, hands move
In accordance with thine commands;
And help to spread the Kingdom's News
To every soul that comes across!

Use me, O Lord, in ways, You wish
In furthering eternity;
So that I may You better serve
And enter Your Holy City!
Amen.

I ask for mercy God,
Lend me your ear;
I need your guidance Lord,
I want you near.

I ask for will-pow’r God,
Give me your grace;
I need your blessings Lord,
I want your pace.

I ask for soul pure God,
Shed me your light;
I need your friendship Lord,
I want your sight.

I ask for wisdom God,
Show me your way;
I need your closeness Lord,
For these, I pray.

Forget your wants;
Ignore the world;
Follow God’s words;

Man must be pure
Follow God’s code,
To enter Heaven.

If man be part
Of God holy,
We must depart,
Only holy!

Return to the Lord’s Way

For long, have I not lived in sin?
Devils prevent my final win;
From path of good, have I not gone astray?
Afill my heart with grace, O God, I pray;
Show me, O God, my Lord, my way!

Lord, put me back upon heaven’s straight road;
Each father trains his son for good;
Give me the Manna as my food,
And let me live as a good Christian should.

Slithered I have from righteous path;
I need again a holy bath;
I’m lost in sin’s woods, dark and deep;
I’ve lost my health and peaceful sleep.

Forgive me, God for I have sinned;
To my conscience, I’ve not listened;
Lord, free me from my evil ways,
And help me live as Bible says.

Sonnet: What Can’t I Sacrifice To Reach Heaven?

In life, I compromise so many things;
I cannot fight forever in this world;
At times, I take whatever Life just brings;
My sufferings remain in heart untold!

But sin is one thing which I must avoid;
The soul is meant to reach God’s own Abode;
A sinful man can’t satisfy the Lord;
We must therefore live by His every code.

The God of purity is truth and light;
He abhors sins and abysmal darkness;
A thousand suns can’t match His face so bright!
He wants all men freed from devils’ harness.

The grace of God is robe and soul’s haven;
What can’t I sacrifice to reach Heaven?
