In Praise of Someone

A perfect person, rarely seen;
A teacher always kind, she’s been;
A face of calmness, rare to see;
Soft-spoken soul (you name someone) !

Expert in English – her domain;
Conducting seminars – her lane;
Perfect in everything, she stays;
She loves to help others always.

A strong believer, she fears God;
A lot, she prays – a thing quite odd;
She won the’ Best Teacher Award’;
She’s a director, singer and bard!

A Doctor-Poet’s Tribute to a Great Doctor and Man of Science

It was a rare, rare find!
I say this with my heart and mind;
I was so thrilled to find a man –
So learned, yet simple – I was his fan!

A man of science
With conscience!
He donned a string of fine degrees;
The man was bent to fight disease;
He occupied the highest chair
At MAHE’s academic hill, so rare.

I wondered how a man could rise
So adamantly, without vice
To be a great phenomenon –
A proud, prodigy physician.
He made his parents, country proud,
And placed his family in ninth cloud!

A Stanlian with great awards –
Pride of India award;
Dr.B.C. Roy award;
Jagdish Chander Bose award;
Distinguished Physician of India award;
Great Teacher award
Stanley Alumini award
Karnataka Rajyothsava award
Excellence for 2000 award
And many more on his cards!

Step by step, he climbed each rung
Of life’s ladder to stay among
The most elite of medical men
With scholastic prowess and ken
That few Indians ev’r attained,
And God-willingly rarely gained!

He was an eminent teacher,
And ‘State-of-the-art’ top reacher;
A par excellence Professor,
Erudite ex tempore speaker.

He loves to teach and train students,
And toils to updat knowledge, hence;
He wears a smile of humbleness
That masks a face of true greatness.

He continues still to be:
A cardiologist- Teacher,
A referee and researcher;
An examiner and author;
A friendly guide, philosopher.

I pray that God must bless this soul
For pursuing a noble role
Of healing people suffering
And yet, from others differing!
Man in his early seventies,
God grant him health and mental peace.

Fondly dedicated to Dr. B.M.Hegde, Ex. VC, MAHE, Manipal.

Teacher Says, Teacher Goes

Teacher says,
teacher goes,
teacher smiles,
teacher knows,

what you have done,
was clearly a mistake,
maybe it is,
time for a break.

Teacher says,
teacher goes,
teacher smiles,
teacher knows,

that you have been naughty.
That you have been quite foughty.
That you are being rude,
don't call teacher a dude.

Teacher says,
teacher goes,
teacher smilies,
teacher know,

that you were making faces,
behind teachers back,
that you were throwing spitballs,
at the teacher's pet.

Teacher says,
teacher goes,
teacher smiles,
teacher knows.

So enough is said,
so now you know,
that whatever you do.....

Teacher says,
Teacher goes,
Teacher smilies,
Teacher knows

To My Most Beloved School-Teacher, Mr. B.E. Coates

Dressed in coat and suit and tie,
Anglo-Indian Teacher my;
Wearing shoes with shine always;
Tall in stature, meek, honest, Ayes!
Speaking English in great style;
Punctual, walking ev’n a mile;
Teaching subjects ardently;
A gentle-man seen, quite rarely!

He taught us English with great care,
Like how Englishmen would dare;
Its nuances, he laid thread-bare,
Pronouncing with Anglo-air!
He made the class so interesting;
Chiding mischief, not punishing;
A pious man who forgave fast;
Advising students till the last.

He was my class-teacher at times;
And read us poetry with rhymes;
He taught us Geography as well;
‘Be hard-working, ’ he’d always tell.
Because of him, I loved English,
And rose to levels, many wish;
He taught us Catechism too,
And say in life, ‘How do you do? ’

My teacher most-beloved was he;
He fanned my sparks of poesy!

What a Teacher!

My teacher is a person,
Who guides us all.
My teacher is a person,
Who teaches us all.

My teacher is a person,
Who hears me when I call.
My teacher is a person,
Who holds me when I fall.

My teacher is a person,
Whom I trust in all.
My teacher is a person,
Who, to me, is the greatest teacher of all!

Sonnet: A Teacher

I loved to be a Medical-Teacher;
My Teacher Father was my role model;
His scholarliness was his great feature;
His greatness words can never truly tell.

A Teacher tells whatever, he has known;
And moulds the conduct, character of wards;
He guides his pupils like his very own;
And expects never earthly just rewards.

A Teacher stays a Teacher forever;
None can replace his place uniquely held;
His students must be brighter and clever,
And when that happens, he is much reveled.

The students imbibe Teacher's noble thought;
To hand the same to progeny, they ought.

Teacher’s Day in India

Teacher’s Day in India is today-
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birthday;
A great educationist, Indian;
A former President of our nation;
A teacher par excellence;
An exemplary role-model to all.

Let’s celebrate this day
In a special way,
By remembering our teachers,
Who’d taught us all these years.

A teacher is a tutor;
A teacher is a scholar;
A teacher is a special friend;
A guide and philosopher
In students’ lives- a Godsend!

Our teachers are great minds;
Our teachers are rare finds;
Their love and precept binds
As students’ life-years winds!

God bless our teachers (dears):
God give them healthy years;
God meet their wants sans fears,
And make them mighty seers.

Like parents, he/she rears;
God rank them as great peers;
But keep them free from tears,
When their life’s end nears.

Dedicated most respectfully to
all our beloved teachers

Hard To Believe

Its very hard as rock
Soft as butter
To respect your teacher
To wish a teacher
May be its right
May not be its right.

Teachers are with variety
Personal variety, proffessional sequence
Thinking, Finding and Rewinding
This is how some are
Hardly difficult to respect
Softly to quite from teacher.

A teacher is ultimate
Supreme to any power
They are the over soul
Life ends or trends
By the immortal souls
Such teachers are rare.

May be you do with
Sometimes you don't
Prepositional elements can end
When a teacher of a kind
Like the catcher in the hell
Hard to believe such teachers.

Teacher is the only truth
He or She the only belief
Trust and belief the other name
When that trust itself is broken
From and by a teacher
Can you believe?
Am sure its hard to believe.

Wish and love and care
Must be submitted to a teacher
Surrendered with respect
Become subaltern under teacher.

Disciples are free from Karma
Liberated after their submission
Recieving with honour, love
Is the only Karma of a teacher.

She kicked me for submission
She insulted my wishes
She bombarded me for my Karma
Gave strong pain in my -.

Is She a teacher?
Is She a mother?
Is She should be regarded?
Is She should be rewarded?
Its hard to believe her.

No student forgive her
No one believe her
No one should wish her
I hope you wont.

Teacher, Teacher

Teacher, teacher, teacher, teach me now
Teacher, teacher, teacher, guide me now
Teacher, teacher, teacher, show the way
You are my light
You are my guide.

Teacher, teacher, teacher, comfort me
Give your listening ears when I cry
Help me find the strength in what I can
You are my help
You are my guide.

Teacher, teacher, teacher, build me up
When I do wrong, show me what is right
Teacher, teacher, teacher, let us laugh
You are my friend
You are my guide.

A teacher who is just right

Have you had a teacher
That makes your heart glow
A teacher is wonderful
A teacher whom you feel honored to have

A teacher who you can laugh or cry with
A teacher whom you can love no matter what they do
A teacher who looks up to you when you don't know
A teacher who just seems to understand you

A teacher who you think about day and night
A teacher whom you pray for as you go to bed
A teacher who is there when need them to
Thoughts of them are always in your head

A teacher who shares with you there ups and downs
A teacher who is there for you in school
A teacher who you share all your smiles with replacing al your frowns

What’s Luck?

Luck is something that comes, not so often;
Luck is an occurrence in life, quite rare;
Luck’s unpredictable phenomenon;
Luck is a devil that is rarely kind!

Luck’s the last thing one should ev’r depend on;
Luck cannot simply come to all always;
Luck can’t work magic without labor hard;
Luck is futile if basic things aren’t done.

Luck is a make-up that needs a good face;
Luck’s a pretty dame with contours and shape;
Luck is an element of great surprise;
Luck is not the usual way, world goes by!

Luck is the decoration on a cake;
Luck’s a factor that clicks for some at times;
Luck isn’t the first thing, we trust any time;
Perseverance is key to success prime.

Congrats, Dear Doctor Couple Friends

Although awards are earthly gifts from men,
They serve to goad the fire that's heart within,
And help us do our duty much better,
And turn an example and trend-setter!

To be a good teacher is not a joke;
To be a good doctor requires work;
To be both needs much toil carrying yoke;
That you have both achieved this gives great mirth!

Thank God for being kind to doctors two;
A teacher's joy is granted to but few!
A doctor's job is noble to the core;
Make up your minds to serve God all the more.

To a Senior Pediatrician, on His Turning Sixty-Seven

Fondly dedicated to Dr.N. Ramachandran MD. DCH
Formerly HOD of Paediatrics & DS IRT PMC & H, Perundurai.

A child
Grew up
To be a man;
And donned
The cap
Of an expert on
Children’s ailments.
Dressed in white,
He taught the art
To medicos right,
From the start.
And now,
He’s touched years
Sixty-seven;
Wizened and wise,
Still, first to rise!
He’s spick and span;
A perfect man;
With rosy hue;
Talks to a few.
He walks by march;
His food is starch;
He keeps his word,
And loves the curd.
He sings ‘slokas’;
He loves ‘vikas’;
He cooks his food;
Rarely is off-mood!
His voice is low;
All student bow;
He teaches well;
And is never ill.
He does the job
that’s him, assigned;
He’as worked so well,
and now resigned.
Being an ex-
Air Force person,
He’s so perfect
for that reason.
I salute him,
With reverence,
For common sense,
And his prudence.
God bless his life;
God spare him strife;
God give him years
Of joy, with dears.
And now,
In his second childhood,
He is just,
One year old!

A bad or a good teacher

A bad teacher is negatively pessimistic
A good teacher is positively optimistic

A bad teacher swears all the time
A good teacher cares in their prime

A bad teacher passes on rude fear
A good teacher has on good ears

A bad teacher discourages
A good teacher encourages

A bad teacher despairs
A good teacher prepares

A bad teacher likes to bitch
A good teacher likes to teach

A bad teacher shouts every moment
A good teacher scouts for every talent

A bad teacher is up for crude devices
A good teacher is up for good advice

A bad teacher lets students fight on in the dark
A good teacher sets students on the right track

A bad teacher feeds on their looks
A good teachers reads many books

A bad teacher sings along with wrong faults
A good teacher brings along the right results

weirdest teacher(NaomiLlante)

10/19/98 rum…

You’re the weirdest teacher
I’ve ever have of all teachers I’ve ever met
Seems to me, she’s modest and easy to be with
Simple, pretty, majestic?
I think she’s a perfect teacher.

She’s not the kind of girl
That’s so materialistic
But she’s always magnificent at all
Oh,
My wonderful teacher
You rocked my world
Compared to him, compared to her?
You’re always and still the best.

Honored To Teacher Salah

In the hands of a gifted teacher
a classroom is a magical place
in the hands of a gifted teacher
There is a smile on each child's face
In the hands of a gifted teacher
Creative energy is everywhere
happiness and love spread all the way
god understood our thirst for knowledge,
And our need to be led..
That's why he sends us creature like this
That by being the right person at the right time
That may be enough to change someone's life
A teacher is a world by itself
That hold hope for anyone else…
A teacher is someone who could see potential
and believe in the best in others
a person that can understand you when you eyes blink
a great teacher is a person deserve to be blessed.

In memory of a great teacher

I know not of a man better than him
a man of morals and purity
my best teacher and example in life
I love him more than myself
he taught me how to be kind
and help the poor
I can't be a bad person,
when he is my teacher
I follow him in every single act
because he is the best teacher ever
never he lied and never rebuked anyone
he called for women and human rights,
thousand years ago.
I help the orphans and support charity,
because he is my best example.
he lightens my whole life
and I'm happy for having such a precious teacher
he is a timeless teacher,
a teacher of all ages
he is prophet Mohammed peace be upon him

Take such Stand man, and you will find peace

Hot For Teacher

Spoken:
Oh wow, man !
Wait a second man. whaddaya think the teachers gonna look like this year ?
My butt, man !
T-t-teacher stop that screaming, teacher dont you see ?
Dont wanna be no uptown fool.
Maybe I should go to hell, but Im doin well,
Teacher needs to see me after school.
Chorus:
I think of all the education that I missed.
But then my homework was never quite like this.
Got it bad, got it bad, got it bad,
Im hot for teacher.
I got it bad, so bad,
Im hot for teacher.
Spoken:
Hey, I heard you missed us, were back !
I brought my pencil
Gimme something to write on, man
I heard about your lessons, but lessons are so cold.
I know about this school.
Little girl from cherry lane, how did you get so bold ?
How did you know that golden rule ?
Chorus
(guitar solo)
Oh man, I think the clock is slow
I dont feel tardy
Class dismissed

Teacher, Teacher

Just when I thought I finally learned my lesson well,
There was more to this than meets the eye.
And for all the things you taught me, only time will tell,
If I'll be able to survive. Oh yeah.
Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Can you tell me all I need to know?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
Or will I fall when you let me go? Oh no.
Am I ready for the real world, will I pass the test?
You know it's a jungle out there.
Ain't nothin' gonna stop me, I won't be second best,
But the joke's on those who believe the system's fair, oh yeah.
Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Can you tell me if I'm right or wrong?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
I wanna know what's goin' on, Oh yeah.
So the years go on and on, but nothing's lost or won.
And what you learned is soon forgotten.
They take the best years of your life,
Try to tell you wrong from right,
But you walk away with nothing. Oh Oh.
Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Can you tell me all I need to know?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
Or will I fall when you let me go?
Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Can you tell me if I'm right or wrong?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
I wanna know what's goin' on, Oh
Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Teacher, teacher, Ooh yeah.
Teacher, teacher
Teacher, teacher
