Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XVI)
Job Answers Again:
So many times, I’ve heard this sort;
Are you trying to me comfort?
Your windy words blow eternally;
Does sickness goad you endlessly?
Like how you talk, I can also;
With chatter, I can strengthen you;
If only, you were in my place,
Your talk could change its inward face!
By speaking, could I check my pain?
If I don’t still, it comes again;
It will not cease or leave me free;
I nod my head just silently.
But Lo! I am so exhausted;
My friends have left me simply stunned;
You speak so openly of me;
I am the prey to His wrath, see!
My foes are happy at my plight;
Their mouths are wide-open to bite;
On cheeks of mine, with insults, smite;
The list, they make, could I ev’r fight?
To impious, God gave me o’er;
In hands of wicked, I suffer;
The peace I had is gone forev’r;
By neck, He dashed me to sever.
I am the target of arrows,
That strike me with ruthless a force;
My sides, without mercy, they found;
He pours my gall upon the ground!
His arrows pierce me without end;
Unarmed am I, how do I fend?
My skin is sack-cloth covered just;
I’ve laid my brow upon the dust.
My face is inflamed by my weep;
Over my eyes, there’s darkness deep;
My hands have been violence-free still;
How sincerely, I pray, though ill!
Then, cover not my blood, O earth!
Let not my outcry end with breath;
Accursed shall be, day of my birth;
My tears to God are not a dearth!
Behold, my witness is above;
My spokesman high will help me prove;
It is my friends who wrong me now;
I pray for mortal’s justice, Oh!
My numbered years are slipping by;
Prepared am I to almost die;
My journey’s one of no return;
Should I until then, earthly burn?

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter X)
I speak with bitterness of soul,
‘I hate my life; don’t prove me wrong.
O God, why do you oppose me?
Does oppression give pleasure, Lord? ’
‘Why spurn the good work of your hands?
Can’t you perceive like how man sees?
Is your lifetime akin mortals?
You know I’m not a wicked man,
And yet you seek my sins and guilt! ’
‘You fashioned me with your own hands
And then, why destroy me, O God?
From clay, you made me very well
Do you want to turn me to dust? ’
‘Like milk, you poured me, made me cheese!
You clothed my bones with flesh and skin;
You gave me grace and spirit too;
You hide your purpose in your heart! ’
‘You watch me sin but suffer guilt;
If I’m wicked, alas for me!
If righteous, what’s the advantage
To live in shame and afflicted? ’
‘A lion-like, you hunt me down
And show your mighty power, Lord;
Repeatedly, you attack me
And harass me, so often, God.’
‘Why out of womb, you brought me live?
I should have died without notice;
Had I ne’er lived, how much better?
From womb, you could have shown my tomb! ’
‘Are not my days on earth just few?
Leave me ’lone to recoup a bit,
Before I go to ne’er return,
From land of darkness and of gloom-
The land where darkness is but light! ’

How to Pray?
Pray incessantly;
Pray most fervently;
Pray with all your heart;
God will do His part!
Pray most sensibly;
Pray most effectively;
Pray deep from your heart;
Pray as if an art!
Pray for prolonged time;
Pray in any clime;
Pray by singing rhymes;
God’s answers chime!
Pray in holy place;
Pray with heav’nly gaze;
Pray for human race;
Pray in many ways.
Let prayers rise up high;
Let prayers pierce the sky;
Let prayers touch God’s heart,
As blessings divine start!

Sonnet: Speak the Truth Always
Open your heart and speak the truth therein;
Let not your tongue utter its usual lies;
For bearing false witness is mortal sin,
And Hell is punishment if man so dies!
Just listen to your conscience and speak;
Your evil words will one day God’s wrath reap;
John Celes is a doctor in his peak;
And God, his Friend and Guide who loves him deep.
No man is cleverer than God you know;
His justice, honesty prevails on earth;
To these ideals as doctors, we must bow,
Until we take our earthly life’s last breath.
Just speak the truth until the very last,
And do your duty to your God steadfast.

Sonnet: Death Will Come
God breathed life into dust to make each man,
And gave him soul to realize His love;
And made each, uniquely, both man, woman:
And keep soul sin-free, and one’s love to prove.
All earthlings must perish some day on earth,
And leave behind all earthly things, we got;
A great blessing indeed is every birth;
There is no thing we call as our sheer lot!
Are we prepared to embrace death that day?
It comes thief-like to cut the thread of life;
How many can to death then bravely say,
‘I’m ready for your cruel, ruthless knife! ’
All earthlings die to turn again to clay,
Releasing soul for God’s Last Judgment Day!

Maybe You Should Seek His Face
He walks with me, The Lord above, and guides me with Grace and Love,
He walks with me every day and helps me through trials along the way.
He guides me with a loving hand helping with what I don't understand.
He helps each and every hour by filling me with His Grace and Power.
My world has been a different place ever since I sought His face.
My empty heart of grief and pain has been filled with Eternal Gain.
No need to seek earthly fame, as I have an inheritance in His Name.
I need no abode on shifting sand, as I have a room built by His hand.
Earthly ties I can sever, as Christ's relationship will last forever.
People come and people go, but He is one through eternity I'll know.
Earthly gain will be left behind, but Godly gain is eternally mine.
With earthly eyes I can not see what He's eternally prepared for me.
Life on earth can be a lonely place; maybe you should seek His face.
No matter what your present strife, Christ can give you a new life.
Your trials may never cease, but Christ will give you an inner peace.
And when this earthly life does end you'll have an eternity to spend.
Everything has been done by Him; He's even forgiven all of your sin.
Believe in His work on the cross and you won't suffer Eternal loss.
Your life will end on earth for sure; even now Christ is at the door.
But if you don't believe The Lord, you'll be in darkness forevermore.

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXVII)
Job Speaks On:
The ways of God, I will reveal;
His dealings, I will not conceal;
Embittered has the Lord, my soul;
Yet, I won’t speak anything foul.
My lips shall speak only the truth;
My tongue shall not tell things uncouth;
I stand by what I say till death;
Injustice, I will not bequeath.
My heart reproaches not my days;
O let my foes have unjust ways;
Wickedness, I’m ready to face;
I’ll maintain my innocent gaze.
What can the impious expect,
When lying on the verge of death?
Will God hear his cry with respect,
When peril strikes before last breath?
Will impious for help ask God?
Will he implore upon the Lord?
Have you not seen the wicked talk?
Without their God, all life, they walk!
Although, he has children many,
The sword becomes their destiny;
His offspring shall not receive bread,
No one will bury them, when dead!
His silver-dust though be a mound,
And garments can the world confound,
The innocent, his wealth begets,
Enjoying clothes and all his debts.
His house like cobwebs disappears,
He lives forever with his fears;
All that he has is lost o’er-night;
He opens eyes but can’t see light!
The Tempest puts him off his base;
The storm sweeps him out of his place!

Friends As Lovers, Lovers As Friends
new york wasn't mine
was it me, or just my kind
spinning softly, talking cheap
theres no place left to be
but a road that just goes on
to everyone leaving town
friends as lovers
lovers as friends
shall we dance into the night
as the jukebox moans and pours out time
friends and lovers
lovers and friends
theres no place left to be
than wrapped around your eyes
and every passing town
or stay as lovers
or stay as friends
theres no prayers
for dashboard light
flagging goals
you're missing sides
'cause they say you are the one
and theres no place left to be
than where you stand right now
i know these leaving town
us as lovers
lovers as friends
to your face
to speak alone
to your back
among the proud
we're friends with lovers
lovers with friends
and theres no place left to be
that can keep me away from you
on every passing train
i see lovers
i see friends
darling boy
youre on my mind, she says
i feel your skin
as if its mine
this pain it sweet
too sweet to touch
and theres no place left to be
in the shadow of your lives
in everyone leaving town
friends as lovers
lovers as friends
and theres no place left to be
than where you are right now
beside us leaving town
i'm your lover
i'm your friend

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter VI)
Then Job replied, ‘my anguish and
Calamity, if be measured,
They would outweigh the ocean’s sands,
And hence, I speak without restraint.
God’s poisonous arrows pierce me;
Arrayed are his terrors on me;
Why should ass wild with grass bray loud?
Do ox with fodder near-by low?
Can you eat insipid, saltless?
Does egg-white have any flavor?
Those are loathsome foods to me;
If only, God, my request grants!
Yet, God could crush me with His Hand;
Still I could exult from the pain,
As I have not transgressed His code;
What strength have I to endure then?
Aren’t there limits for my patience?
Is flesh of bronze and my bone, stones?
Have I no one to advise me?
Friends must be kind when strikes despair.
I can’t depend on my brethren;
They run like dried-up waterways;
Though heaped with snow, and once they flow,
They vanish in the ambient heat!
The caravans that go astray
Into desert, do thus perish;
Though confident, they turn hopeless
And finally feel frustrated.
You have become like-wise to me;
You’re scared to see terrible things;
Have I asked you for anything?
Did I seek gifts that you possess?
Did you deliver me from foes,
Or redeem me from oppressors?
Teach me and I will be silent;
You prove to me wherein I erred.
Your honest words though agreeable,
Your arguments can’t convince me!
Although your words are proof enough,
A desperate man’s words aren’t wind!
You cast lots on the orphan too:
Barter away your friends in deal;
Think over well, I’m still correct,
My tongue speaks sincerely always!

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XIX)
Job Answers Again:
Your words can’t vex my soul nor tame;
You have assailed me without shame;
Let it be that I am at fault;
Your words to my wounds seem like salt.
Yes, God has been unfair to me;
O let my fault remain truly;
My cries for justice are not heard;
In deaf ears fall my pleas and word.
He blocks the way that I must take;
Darkness veils my path in its wake;
With glory stripped, I stand thread-bare;
Lost is the diadem I wear.
My hope’s an uprooted tree just;
His fiery wrath rises like dust;
He considers me as a foe;
His troops encamp to plan my woe.
My friends have estranged me in whole;
My brethren have left this poor soul;
All my companions too are gone;
My kith and kin left me alone.
I’m stranger to my handmaids all;
An alien-like, they view my fall;
My servant does not heed my call;
I plead but he stays like a wall!
My breath is abhorred by my wife;
I’m loathed a one in earthly life;
The children young too despise me;
They scoff and laugh at me freely;
Gone are my friends who were so dear;
Gone are the ones beloved and near;
My bones slash through my body-skin;
God hand has struck me for my sin.
Inscribe my words in a record;
Etch them in rock forever, Lord;
Why hound me as I’m less divine?
If only written be my line!
I long to see my Lord and God;
Behold I must before my rod;
The matter’s crux lies within Him;
For crime not mine, my life turned grim!

Sonnet: As Human Beings, We All Have Problems
Which man on earth is free of all problems?
We earthlings face both happiness and woes;
All can’t be Gold, Diamonds or uncut Gems!
Sad days come to both friends and even foes.
The richest man on earth has problems too,
And spends much time in trying to them solve;
The poorest men on earth have suffered; so
Men can’t their problems on their own resolve.
The secret tool that helps all is prayer!
We ought to pray for ourselves, friends and foes;
The Godless men like rain-less trees wither!
Prayers help men to solve problems and woes.
Pray from your heart to God whenev’r you can;
Alone, you cannot gain Heaven, O Man!

I Will Not Talk About Pain This Christmas
i promise you
i will not talk about pain this christmas
i will rest from pain
i will embrace the joys of men and women
i will talk about the birth
of hope for mankind
i will write about saving grace
i will listen to the sounds of peace
i will look at the stars and ponder upon their twinkles
i will not give my tears
i will give so many smiles
i will not close my hands
i will send a lot of roses to all my friends and foes
i will be home early at night
i will pray that God may make things right
i will ask for a longer life
i will wish that there will no more be strife
i promise you all, for this christmas.

I Shall Have These Hands That Shall Write About Hands....
must have i forgotten
from where all these come?
ah, i have read about your hands
and now i shall have to mind about mine
once i had these hands
whose name is
work and struggle and
sacrifice
they lifted rocks
outlined by Sisyphus
and roll them from
atop the hill
and put them again there
in senseless
labor
when i got reason
my hands began to think
as though they have brains
under their nails
these hands begin the
questions
grapple for answers
and got
no satisfaction
they dabble in poetry
trembling and tense and
looking for
a compromise for some
fetish
must have i forgotten from where
these hands come?
someone says these hands are from
the hands of God
whose hands hand what we do not have
in hand yet
these hands did what was wrong then
and covered the face of the
penitent and the remorseful
these hands that slap a face that
triggered a gunfire
that lay upon the hardened breasts
and held breaths
these hands that write now for you
face upside down not asking for anything in return
these hands that speak for you
as you turn your head for someone else.

On the Demise of Your Beloved Spouse…
Today, a suffering soul is free
From pain and strife of every kind;
God heard her prayers finally,
And freed her body, soul and mind!
The world doesn't know of your lady,
But you spent time and cared for her;
Today your world may look empty,
As your heart feels love lost forev'r!
A marriage is in heaven made;
What God had joined had long well stayed;
The love ‘midst spouses cannot fade,
As plans of God's are too well laid!
Now is the time to pray a lot
For your wife's soul to rest in peace;
In life, her war was quite well fought,
To free herself from her disease.
The separation means one thing:
‘Our earthly life will cease some day! '
The good times with her, you must sing,
And keep your grief and loss at bay.
All good or bad things see their end;
The good we do rescues our soul;
To God's decrees, we must all bend,
And in His ways, we play our role!
Though death is just a parting phase,
As we prepare to see God's face,
Let's do our duty to our race,
And find our way out of life's maze!
A much loved one is lost today;
The loss is great, leaving a void;
But with each one, God has His way;
We gotta live well in this world!
We got to live as per His code;
We must obey Him, young or old;
We must do all that God has told;
We must face death though weary, bold:
Like sheep with shepherd, join the fold!
Fondly dedicated to a doctor friend's
beloved wife's demise

(It’s Not) To Everyone Under 18
“You’re doing it wrong! ”
“You can’t do anything right! ”
Echo’s through your ears once more.
Coming with is tears that try to exit your eyes.
But some how are held back.
And the punch in the face,
You weren’t expecting you didn’t think,
You had to defend yourself against,
The people who brought you up all these 10 years!
A rumor goes around the 7th grade.
A month or two before your 12th Birth day.
But your friends kept it from you,
Because they know it’s not true.
So unaware you walk in that familiar door alone,
Except for one other,
Everyone outside working,
Big log truck is unloading,
So everyone is unable to hear your screams of fear
Thinking this time she might not stop and death might be near.
Painful screams from objects hitting you tiny body.
With such a hard force it breaks skin.
No one hears you all they see is “you falling down the stairs! ”
Someone comes to your aid but doesn’t know.
No one will ever know that was there that day.
You’re nearly grown 17 years old.
Less then a month till your 18th Birth day.
The punishments have gotten worse but,
Not as often over the years.
12 years their fist against your skin.
But nothing prepared you for the one about to be laid upon you.
The force.. the length..
Yes you did wrong, yes you needed discipline,
But to that extent?
It was almost too much for your 140lb body to take.
It sent you to the hospital but of course,
You crashed your quad.
All these years, all 12 of them you,
Hide it inside, only you and your siblings knew.
Thought it was just something that happened.
And it was O.K.
Thinking every parent does it.
But its not! ! ! It’s not O.K.! ! !
Parents should never hit their kids! !
It’s wrong and against the law! ! !
Not to mention the lasting effects it has on the person.
P.S.
If you know someone that is under 18 and their parents are hurting them talk to them. You would be amazed of just someone to talk to does for them. May 24,2009

Who saw those dark eyes
Who saw those dark eyes
These years gone by
Deep within
Burn my skin
All those years gone by
In the heat of the night
All those years gone by
Who felt those cold hands
Who felt those cold hands
Touch my skin
Deep within
Burn my soul
Fell to the ground
Where I was found
All those years ago
All those tears ago
All those years ago
Everybody makes mistakes
Everybody makes mistakes
Even me
Just be free
This is a place
Where in the end
It happens in
Our world within
Time to go
Time to go

Les Noyades
WHATEVER a man of the sons of men
Shall say to his heart of the lords above,
They have shown man verily, once and again,
Marvellous mercies and infinite love.
In the wild fifth year of the change of things,
When France was glorious and blood-red, fair
With dust of battle and deaths of kings,
A queen of men, with helmeted hair,
Carrier came down to the Loire and slew,
Till all the ways and the waves waxed red:
Bound and drowned, slaying two by two,
Maidens and young men, naked and wed.
They brought on a day to his judgment-place
One rough with labour and red with fight,
And a lady noble by name and face,
Faultless, a maiden, wonderful, white.
She knew not, being for shame’s sake blind,
If his eyes were hot on her face hard by.
And the judge bade strip and ship them, and bind
Bosom to bosom, to drown and die.
The white girl winced and whitened; but he
Caught fire, waxed bright as a great bright flame
Seen with thunder far out on the sea,
Laughed hard as the glad blood went and came.
Twice his lips quailed with delight, then said,
“I have but a word to you all, one word;
Bear with me; surely I am but dead;”
And all they laughed and mocked him and heard.
“Judge, when they open the judgment-roll,
I will stand upright before God and pray:
‘Lord God, have mercy on one man’s soul,
For his mercy was great upon earth, I say.
“‘Lord, if I loved thee—Lord, if I served—
If these who darkened thy fair Son’s face
I fought with, sparing not one, nor swerved
A hand’s-breadth, Lord, in the perilous place—
“‘I pray thee say to this man, O Lord,
Sit thou for him at my feet on a throne.
I will face thy wrath, though it bite as a sword,
And my soul shall burn for his soul, and atone.
“‘For, Lord, thou knowest, O God most wise,
How gracious on earth were his deeds towards me.
Shall this be a small thing in thine eyes,
That is greater in mine than the whole great sea?’
“I have loved this woman my whole life long,
And even for love’s sake when have I said
‘I love you’? when have I done you wrong,
Living? but now I shall have you dead.
“Yea, now, do I bid you love me, love?
Love me or loathe, we are one not twain.
But God be praised in his heaven above
For this my pleasure and that my pain!
“For never a man, being mean like me,
Shall die like me till the whole world dies.
I shall drown with her, laughing for love; and she
Mix with me, touching me, lips and eyes.
“Shall she not know me and see me all through,
Me, on whose heart as a worm she trod?
You have given me, God requite it you,
What man yet never was given of God.”
O sweet one love, O my life’s delight,
Dear, though the days have divided us,
Lost beyond hope, taken far out of sight,
Not twice in the world shall the gods do thus.
Had it been so hard for my love? but I,
Though the gods gave all that a god can give,
I had chosen rather the gift to die,
Cease, and be glad above all that live.
For the Loire would have driven us down to the sea,
And the sea would have pitched us from shoal to shoal;
And I should have held you, and you held me,
As flesh holds flesh, and the soul the soul.
Could I change you, help you to love me, sweet,
Could I give you the love that would sweeten death,
We should yield, go down, locked hands and feet,
Die, drown together, and breath catch breath;
But you would have felt my soul in a kiss,
And known that once if I loved you well;
And I would have given my soul for this
To burn for ever in burning hell.

Pray For The Hunted
No light inside as empty room
Under pressure I cant win
The screams - the pain - its all inside
All this talking all the time
When there is something left
Talk to me face to face
Expected so much more
Im sick and tired of it all
Why dont you pray for the hunted
I scream for help to free my heart
You better pray for the hunter
I wonder why you take me apart
The light has diedd and whos to blame
Youre the one who messed around
You shook - you took - you played your games
The time has come youre going down
When there is something left
Talk to me face to face
Expected so much more
Im sick and tired of it all
Why dont you pray for the hunted
I scream for help to free my heart
You better pray for the hunter
I wonder why you take me apart
You take me apart
Why dont you pray for the hunted
You better pray for the hunter
Why dont you pray for the hunted
You better pray for the hunter
Why dont you pray for the hunted
I scream for help to free my heart
You better pray for the hunter
I wonder why you take me apart
Why dont you pray for the hunted
You score no more youve lost this game
You better pray for the hunter
Why do you always have to take me apart

Bible Stories: Job (Chapter XXI)
Then Job in reply said:
Just listen to my words, will you?
Some consolation, that can do;
Please bear with me for what I say;
And after that, mock me, you may.
Did I complain to any man?
What’s wrong with my impatience, then?
Be astonished on seeing me;
By horror afflicted truly.
Why wicked should survive on earth?
How powerful they stay since birth!
And grow up to a ripe old age
That can the righteous well enrage.
Their progeny secure always;
Come timely their kinsfolk’s birthdays;
Their homes are safe by night and day;
The scourge of God comes not their way.
Their cattle do not fail to thrive,
Stay children merrily alive;
They dance to tunes of timbrel, flute;
Songs accompanied by harp cute.
On earth, they prosper and flourish;
Although, they live lives so selfish;
They go down to the nether world,
Without the need for God though old.
They dare to tell God to depart;
They never learn His ways or art;
Why should they serve the Almighty?
Why should they pray so fervently?
Their happiness lies in their hands;
If God really hates their bands,
How often are their lamps put out?
They live in lucre and by clout.
Should they not be like straw in wind?
Should not all pity God rescind?
Shouldn’t they see their calamity,
And drink the wrath of Almighty?
And yet, they die with content hearts,
And rule over their counter-parts;
Their bones are richly marrow-ful;
They look like well-nourished a bull.
Can anyone teach God knowledge?
He is on high, the fairest Judge;
The righteous die with bitter souls,
Running all life between the poles.
And when they turn to dust at last,
In nether world, they’re too worm-cast;
Where is the house of the magnate?
And where’s the dwelling of wicked?
And monuments stand for wicked!
The poor has lived a life wretched;
The evil ones are spared all strife,
Until the end of earthly life.
Who will charge them for misconduct?
Will they repay for bad product?
The valley clods are sweet to them;
A funeral mound keeps watch o’er them.
A line of mankind follows him;
Their lives cannot be ever grim;
How can you offer vain comfort?
Your answers don’t console my heart!

All Soul’s Day
God, many are the souls that left the earth;
Lord, many were in sin while departing;
The cleansing of souls takes in Purgatory;
Have mercy God and take them to heaven!
Man is not perfect anytime since birth;
Sinfulness fills his heart and mind till death;
Always a prey to Satan’s ploys, he stays;
The purity of soul is something rare.
Show mercy on our brethren God, we pray;
They lived a life of struggles upon earth;
Let Requiem masses celebrated bring
Release of more souls earlier than due dates!
Let Light eternal shine upon those souls
Whose threads of life were severed by rude death;
Let hymns of pleas on behalf of faithful
Open the gate of heaven to them soon!
Let world remember ‘All Souls Day’ and pray
For deliverance of the faithful dead;
Let acts of alms-giving and good deeds too
Kindle the heart of God to set them free!

Oh Let Us Pray
Oh Father, oh Father
Come and take us by our hands
As we pray to you dear Father
For a cleansing across our land
Let us pray for the sick
And those that are old
Cling to us dear Father
We still need You, to hold
Pray for the poor
Even the beggars on the street
Help to guide them along
May they find something to eat
Let's pray for our soldiers
Who have stood up to fight
Leaving behind their families
Just to help protect our rights
Let us pray for the blind
May they finally get to see
May these prayers reach across the lands
And set many burdens free
Let's pray for love and friendship
May they spread like a wild fire
May we all love with Your passion
And burn with a true desire
so pray with us Oh Father
As we pass the hands of time
And help all hearts to heal
Starting with some friends of mine
OH LET US PRAY
